Disclaimers: This is a crossover between Sailor Moon and Uta no Prince-sama. I do not own these two shows. Sailor Moon is written by Naoko Takeuchi in manga form and aired as a series by Toei Animation and TV Asahi in Japan and by Kodansha Comics in North America. Uta no Prince-sama is created by Broccoli as a Japanese visual novel game franchise and aired as an Anime series by A-1 Pictures.
"My queen," said the King, "Please calm down."
Cecil's parents, who were taken to safety by Otoya and Cecil, were waiting for them at their bedchambers. Cecil's mother was pacing back and forth in worry. Even though she didn't understand it, she could see through Cecil's disguise as a Sailor Senshi, and due to this strange ability, she saw her son… her FIRST son… as a Sailor Senshi, just like Cecil when she and her King was taken to safety. She now paces back and forth in worry and dread. What if they were dead? What if their evil advisors destroyed her sons and their friends? Pausing from her pacing, she turned and glared with her red eyes at her husband. "I TOLD you not to hire those two," complained Cecil's mother.
"I know dear," said the weary King.
"I TOLD you that they were bad," ranted the mother.
"Yes, dear," said the King.
"But, did you listen before," said the mother who ignored what the King was saying, "NO! You THOUGHT you were doing something right for Agnapolis. You THOUGHT you were more knowledgeable than my instincts!"
"I'm sorry, dear," said the King solemnly.
"NOW," exclaimed the mother before sighing in sadness, "Now… I don't know if they are alive… my sons… they are fighting, and I wasn't able to protect them."
"Sons," asked the King in confusion.
"Sons," echoed the Sailor Senshi.
Both King and Queen jumped up in surprise. They didn't realize that they had company at their bedchamber's door. The Queen sighed as she saw Cecil and, in extension, Otoya being alive. With her eyes, she checked both males for any serious injuries, yet she couldn't find anything. She didn't know that Usagi already healed her Senshi during the battle before the Ginzuishō shattered. As she was looking at them, everyone else who were at the battle looked at Cecil in confusion. They didn't know that he HAD a brother, and if he did, where was he? "Neptune," said Ren gently, "You have a brother?"
"Ah," hesitated Cecil.
"Neptune," said Masato, "Why didn't you tell us you had a brother?"
"Kāchan told me when she rescued me," confessed Cecil, "So, I didn't know until that time."
"So ka (I see)," said Setsuna with a frown, "And how did she know that it was you? If my memory serves me right, you were henkan (transformed), were you not?"
"I… I don't really know how she could see through it," said Cecil with his head down.
"Maybe it has to do with the magic around this kingdom," suggested Taiki, "After all, you told us about the Muses, ne?"
Cecil just nodded his head. The others were also thinking about what Taiki said. If that was true, then it was alright for the Agnapolis royalty to know who they really were. All of them looked at each other before one by one, bright flashes of lights in different colors blinded the King and Queen. Both King and Queen shielded their eyes until they blinked and saw regular people in civilian outfits that came from Tokyo, Japan. Cecil's mother teared up when she saw her first born, Otoya, who was discreetly looking at the blonde-haired girl, Usagi. "Allow us to introduce ourselves," said Seiya with a bow, "My name is Kou Seiya. These are my brothers, Taiki Taiki bows when his name was called and Yaten Yaten does the same. We are the Starlights who came from the Star System."
"…While WE are the actual Senshi of this Sol System," said Hotaru, "My name is Tomoe Hotaru. Next to me is Meioh Setsuna-mama Setsuna curtsies and our hime reincarnated, Tsukino Usagi-hime Usagi curtsies."
"And these are my group members and friends from Saotome's Master Course, STARISH," said Cecil, "This is Ichinose Tokiya Tokiya bows Jingūji Ren Ren bows Hijirikawa Masato Masato bows Shinomiya Natsuki Natsuki bows Kurusu Shō Shō bows and Ittoki…"
"…Otoya-kun," murmured/finished Cecil's mother.
Everyone blinked when Cecil's mother said Otoya's name. The question was on HOW the Queen knew Otoya's name in the first place. Otoya, on his part, was getting more confused on how this woman felt familiar to him. He knew that it was just at the tip of his mind, but it wasn't until he finally looked at Cecil's mother's eyes… the same colored eyes as his deceased aunt… the almost same colored eyes as his own. Memories of before he was adopted by his aunt came flooring into his mind. He could faintly remember that as a one-year-old, there was another person… a woman… with his aunt and him. Staring at the woman who was now in front of him, all he could murmur was… "Okāsan?"
"NANI," shouted everyone, besides Usagi.
"Y-You are really my m-mother, r-right," questioned Otoya.
"Hai," said Cecil's mother with tears in her eyes, "My son."
"C-Chotto matte," shouted Shō, "The Queen of Agnapolis is REALLY your Mo…Mo…MOTHER?!"
"Hai," said Otoya softly, but all could hear him, "She disappeared in a flight to her business when I was little. Because we couldn't find her after the plane crash, we thought she had died, and I was adopted by my obachan (auntie)."
"B-But, the orphanage…," started Yaten.
"Orphanage," cried out Otoya and Cecil's mother.
"A-Ah," said Otoya hesitantly, "Obachan had frail health and died long ago. I ended up in that orphanage… the orphanage we were helping out with."
They all could see that Cecil and, with their new knowledge, Otoya's mother was looking very frustrated. They all knew the story of how Otoya was actually in an orphanage when he was younger and decided to enter into the Saotome Academy to become an idol and spread smiles to everyone's faces. Usagi bit her lower lip as she saw Otoya looking down and remembering the sad memories. She took an unnoticed initiative and walked quietly but swiftly to Otoya before grabbing his hand to give him support. Otoya almost jerked in surprise but calmed himself as he held onto Usagi's hand tightly. It was painful to remember the bad memories, and he was glad that SOMEONE was there to also know how bad it would be to bring back past memories. The King, however, looked at his queen in shock. "What is the meaning of this," questioned the King, "Y-You were having an affair?!"
"Dear," said the Queen, "This was BEFORE my amnesia during that plane crash. You know as well as I do that I HAD that amnesia until recently."
"O-Oh," said the King, "Of course. I had forgotten about your amnesia."
"Now, dear, do be quiet while I question my first born," said the Queen.
All of the Senshi, besides Cecil, looked on in surprise as the Queen revealed that she had amnesia until recently. That would definitely explain why the Queen never came back to Japan and took care of Otoya in his childhood. Otoya felt relief, though, because his mother didn't abandon his aunt and him in Japan. A sudden weight was also relieved from his chest once his mother explained… well, more like just dropped the information on them… to the King as she glared at him before turning to Otoya. Seeing that his mother was looking at him, he unconsciously tightened his hold on Usagi's hand, making the others smile inwardly or smirk outwardly at both unconscious actions. "Otoya-kun," said his mother.
"H-Hai," asked Otoya.
"What happened to your otōsan (father)," asked his mother, "I could have sworn that he would have taken care of you."
"O-tō-san," questioned Otoya with a confused look on his face.
"Hai," said his mother, "He would have been looking out for you and your obasan (aunt)!"
"Hold on," said a serious Tokiya, "Are you telling all of us that Otoya's father is still alive?"
"You mean he DIDN'T even try to find and/or help you and your obasan," screeched the Queen.
All of the Senshi and the King backed away from the fuming Queen. Apparently, Otoya's real father was actually alive somewhere and didn't even lift a finger in helping Otoya and his aunt live peacefully. Otoya and Cecil winced together as they heard their mother pacing back and forth, all the while muttering death threats underneath her breath. They both looked at each other and nodded their heads. Their mother was going to be going on a war path against Otoya's father soon. It wasn't until a particular yell from the Queen made EVERYONE reel in shock. "I am going to KILL Saotome Mitsuo," yelled out the Queen.
"Saotome," echoed everyone.
"Hai," said a seething Queen, "Shining Saotome, otherwise known as Saotome Mitsuo, is Otoya's father. We were once actually co-workers. I composed his song, Ai Yue Ni (Because Of Love), before we became intimate, and… well… had Otoya."
"So, Saotome-jōshi (boss) is Otoya's real father," said a still surprised Natsuki.
"A-And, if you composed Ai Yue Ni, then you must be…," started Masato.
"Sō (That's right)," said the Queen, "I used to be Ittoki Kotomi, but I changed my name when I married Mitsuo-kun. I later changed it after marrying King Kōya, becoming Aijima Kotomi."
That was all Otoya could take on this journey. From kissing his crush, Usagi, and saving her to finding out that his mother, Ittoki Kotomi, was still alive and well and that Shining Saotome was his father, he had enough information to overload his brain. His red eyes rolled in the back of his head before promptly fainting on the spot. Usagi gaped before she was pulled down and onto Otoya's chest as he fainted on the spot. Of course, when he fainted, he was still holding onto Usagi's hand. "O-Oi, Otoya," said an irritated Yaten, "Let go of Usagi before you faint!"
- A Few Days Later –
"Are you sure about this," asked King Kōya.
"I'm sure," said Kotomi, "I need to have a TALK with Saotome. Besides looks at Otoya and Usagi talking about something I need to help my first born with something Saotome set, as what I believe, is a ridiculous rule."
It was a few days later that Kotomi decided to go back to Japan with Cecil and Otoya… to go back and confront her past. She knew that it would not be easy, but hearing that her first born couldn't love someone within the industry because of a rule that Shining Saotome set up made her blood boil. Did what she had with Saotome Mitsuo in the past meant nothing to him that he set something up like that?! Kotomi clenched her hand into a fist as she marched where the other Senshi were. She also had a small overnight bag in her other hand as she went towards the others. Looking at all of them, she marveled at how a few days rest made everyone look… brighter and happier. "Do you need help, okāsan," asked Otoya.
"Īe," said Kotomi, "Now… how are we getting to Japan?"
"We are going to be Sailor Teleporting," said Usagi.
"Is it safe," asked Kotomi.
"Hai," said Hotaru, "Sailor Teleporting is instantaneous."
"Now," said Masato, "Are you sure you would like to come with us back to Japan, Kotomi-sama?"
Kotomi just glared at Masato for asking that question once more. Masato winced because she WAS leaving a beloved husband behind to see her ex-husband, Shining Saotome. He just wanted to be sure that THIS was what she wanted. In no time, the Sailor Senshi transformed and motioned for Kotomi to come inside the circle. Kotomi waved goodbye to her husband before preparing herself mentally. Kotomi could see everyone glowing different colors before the colors shot up into the sky, making ALL of them disappear right in front of King Kōya. Kotomi couldn't see what had happened, but as she blinked away the sparkles of light, all of them were right in front of Saotome Master Course dormitory, the early morning light shining behind the group. It wasn't long that a shout was heard from a distance. "Mina," called out a female voice.
"Nanami/little lamb/Haruka," called out STARISH who knew said voice.
"You all were gone for so long," said a panting Haruka, "We couldn't even find you!"
"A-Are we late to the UtaPri Award," asked a worried Natsuki.
"Ī-Īe," said Haruka, "But, we have to get ready! Shining Saotome, Ringo-sensei, and Hyūga-sensei were looking for all of you as well."
A sudden shout of Haruka's name was heard in the distance that made everyone look towards the sound. There, they saw Ringo-sensei and Hyūga-sensei running towards the large group. They even turned when they heard a shout from Reiji from a different direction. Apparently, the teachers also roped Quartet Night to find the missing idols and composer. Kotomi blinked at all the new faces, but the one that stood out was Ringo-sensei and Hyūga-sensei. While hidden behind the tall males, Kotomi saw all of them gather around the Sailor Senshi. "Where have you been," asked Ringo-sensei, "We thought that you all would be practicing for the UtaPri Award, but apparently, we couldn't even find you in the practice room!"
"Gomen nasai (I'm so sorry)," said Cecil, "They were with me in Agnapolis because due to not informing Agnapolis of becoming an idol, I needed a hand signed agreement from my father to proceed."
"Well, you could have at least…," started Ringo-sensei before his eyes landed on… "K-K-Kotomi?!"
"Kon'nichiwa," said a smiling Kotomi, "How have you been, Tsukimiya? Good?"
"I-I'm fine," said Ringo-sensei, "H-How are you…?"
"…Here," finished Kotomi, "Ah, it seems as though my memories from long ago have slowly, but surely, returned after seeing Otoya-kun on screen."
"Otoya…kun," questioned Ringo-sensei slowly.
"Hai," said Kotomi with a smile, 'Didn't you know? Otoya-kun is my baby boy. Mine and Saotome's."
"EH," shouted Quartet Night and the teachers.
"Now, if you don't mind," said Kotomi, "Please kindly show me to Saotome's office. We have a LONG chat ahead of us."
"H-Hai," proclaimed Ringo-sensei.
