Ironwood finishes off one last Beowolf with his pistols.

The battalion of students arrives on the scene. "What's going on?" Ruby asks.

"Whose kneecaps do we need to shatter?" Aris adds.

"Grimm are crawling all over the city," says the General. "The White Fang has invaded Beacon, and to make matters worse, some vagabond has seized one of my ships. Until we regain command of said ship, the skies are out of our control. So I'm-"

Ironwood draws a pistol and shoots a Beowolf that is attempting to pounce on the group from behind. "-Going to take it back," he finishes.

"What should we do?" Jaune asks as Ironwood begins to leave.

Ironwood turns around. "You have two options. You can defend your kingdom and your school...or you can save yourselves."

Everyone exchanges worried glances.

"There is no shame in leaving," Ironwood assures everyone. "Students, move out!"

Aris and Pikachu mount Salamence. "I'll head to the ground and help out there!"

"Good luck!" Ruby calls out.

Aris nods. "Same to you, comrade!"

Salamence flaps his wings and explodes into the air. Aris readies his bow and begins peppering Nevermores and Griffons out of the sky. Salamence lights up one such Griffon with Dragon Breath.

The Dragon-type lands beside Blake and Weiss, who are in the front courtyard of Beacon. Aris dismounts and returns Salamence to the Ultra Ball. "Guys!"

Weiss turns. "Aris!"

Ahead of the trio is a group of AK-200's. "Looks like the clankers are here to save the day," Aris quips.

On that note, the Knights turn on their heels, facing Aris, Weiss, and Blake. Their faces are glowing red as they aim their rifles. "Nevermind!" Aris shouts as he dives to the side. Gunshots rain down around him and the other two. They get up, surrounded by the rogue Knights.

Aris draws his sword and shield. "Order Sixty-Six won't happen again on my watch!"

A few minutes later...

AK-200's fill the courtyard of Beacon Academy, and are swiftly dispatched by Weiss, Aris, and Pikachu. Meanwhile, Perci Parker and Blake Belladonna mow down White Fang soldiers with their katana and webs, respectively.

Blake is suddenly pounced on by a myriad of White Fang, but Aris arrives and knocks them away with the Master Sword. Weiss and Pikachu stand at his side.

Several human Atlas soldiers are suddenly and swiftly eliminated by a hijacked Atlesian Paladin. An Alpha Beowolf leaps into the battlefield, letting out an ear-piercing roar. "Blake, you and Perci go after the White Fang," Aris says. "Weiss, you take care of the Beowolf. The mega clanker's all mine."

The four of them exchange a nod and go off to their respective targets.

Blake and Perci rush after the White Fang grunts, running for the now-ruined dining hall. Blake looks inside and gasps, terrified.

A man with spiky red hair and horns on his head runs an Atlas soldier through with his crimson-bladed sword. "No," says Blake. "Adam?"

Perci raises her fists. "Who is he?"

The man - Adam - turns around, smiling wickedly at Blake. "Hello, darling."

Back with the others, Weiss and several other students are dispatching Grimm after Grimm. Jaune slices an Ursa to pieces with his sword. Takashi rips through a few Beowolves with the shotgun form of Phantom and Royal. Raylo wills Skywalker to fly through the air and cut through several Grimm.

Some distance away, on a rooftop, three figures watch as the massacre unfolds. Emerald Sustrai, Mercury Black, and a woman with a red dress and black hair. "Beautiful," says the woman in red.

"I almost feel bad for them," says Emerald.

"It's horrendous," the woman in red agrees. She turns to Mercury. "Focus on the Atlesian Knights."

Mercury is holding up his Scroll, recording the bloodbath at Beacon. Specifically the rogue AK-200's. "I'm getting all of it, Cinder," he says.

"Good," Cinder says. "Continue the broadcast until the end." The ground shakes heavily. Something big is coming. "And do not miss what happens next," Cinder adds.

Cinder walks away from Mercury and Emerald, a wicked smile on her face and a small sway in her hips.

At the top of Beacon tower...

Professor Ozpin sits in his office, watching the battle. He sees several Atlas soldiers lighting up a Death Stalker with bullets. A young man on a rooftop, waving his arms for help as Grimm climb up towards him.

The headmaster hangs his head low before rising from his chair and picking up his cane. He walks out to the center of his office, waiting. The ground suddenly rumbles beneath his feet.

Meanwhile, Qrow Branwen and Glynda Goodwitch are fighting side-by-side, using their respective weapons to dispose of Grimm. They feel the tremor as well.

"No," Goodwitch breathes as she struggles to stay on her feet.

In the southeast quadrant, a mountain begins to crumble. Cracks appear rapidly, revealing various Grimm body parts. First, talons. Then, a spiny back. Finally, an eye.

The mountain's peak bursts apart, and a gargantuan Grimm dragon - a Wyvern - emerges. With a mighty roar, it begins its flight towards Beacon Academy.

The Wyvern flies over the ruins of Mountain Glenn, roaring as droplets of darkened energy drip from its body. These drops land on the ground below, and from them emerge Creeps and Beowolves, and the like.

Back at the top of the tower, Ozpin watches through a window as the Wyvern flies rapidly towards Beacon Academy. The dragon Grimm starts circling the tower, spawning Grimm all the while.

Various Beacon students, among whom are team JNPR, Raylo, and Takashi, stand ready to fight. Pyrrha Nikos, however, walks away, towards an awaiting Professor Ozpin.

"Where's she going?" Nora asks.

"I'll go find out," says Jaune. "You two stay here and keep fighting."
