Wanda and I were at a power 8 skating thing. We were here to support Evan, because he asked if we could come, even for a little bit. She didn't want to come, but had nothing better to do so she came with. In her own words, she could use a break from running around.

"I hate crowds!" Wanda said, annoyed as we were standing at the fence, not wanting to go to the bleachers.

"Just ignore everyone!" I said as I leaned over to her. "I told you that we should of brought the portable chairs, didn't I? Anyways, once Evan loses or wins, we leave!" I said, with her nodding.

"If he loses?" She asked, looking at me.

"We say our hellos, support him, then leave!" I said, holding two drinks in hand. "Here!"

Wanda took the drink, but didn't drink from it as she just held it. She did have a thing of nachos in her hands so she placed the drink on the ground. "If he wins, we leave, it will be the same thing as well!"

Opening the drink, I held it in hand as I watched Evan skate around the park. He was good, and some were just bad at what they were doing. It was good to see him having fun.

"There's Evan!" I said, pointing him out.

I went to take a drink, but was stopped once Wanda held a nacho chip out to me. I put my drink down and ate it, with me nodding to her as she ate hers.

"Thanks! The cheese, It's a little cold! Do you prefer it that way?" I asked, as there are some people who prefer their nachos a bit cold. She didn't answer, just eating her nachos in silence. "I will take that as a yes. I'm not judging!" I said, reaching over to my own thing of nachos and held it out to her, with her taking it and eating it.

"HOT!" Wanda said, waving her hand at her mouth. "You should cool yours!?" Wanda said as she picking up her drink and drinking from it. The moment she drank it, her powers started going out of control, with her causing some destruction and collapsing soon after.

"Wanda!" I called out, catching her before she hit the ground. She started taking very shallow breaths, looking like she was about to pass out.

"Dakota!" Wanda called out, her eyes rolling back.

"Wanda! The drink, its poison!" I muttered, with me picking her up and running over to the others as they ran over to me. "I need medical attention, she's been poisoned by the sports drink!" I said, with Storm leading me over to the Van to get her out of here

Later

"Wanda!" I called out, squeezing her hand. "It's okay, I'm here." I said, with her holding her hand up to her face to block the light.

"Where am I?" She asked, trying to recall what happened.

"You're in the medical wing at the institute." We heard Storm, with me looking at her as she walked in. "He saved your life, brought you here for medical attention. You were poisoned by a drink called power 8. Evan as well, only he decided to join the Morlocks." She said, with me frowning at that as they had left earlier to go look for him.

"We have to go, stuff to take care of!" She said, sitting up and almost falling out of bed. Tears were beginning to well up in her eyes, having to force her way up. I caught her, where I laid her back down. She was warm, even more so than usual.

"Hey, relax!" I whispered softly into ear as I got her to focus on me.

She nodded her head, closing her eyes. "Keep close." Wanda said, holding onto my arm for dear life. I nodded at that and looked at Storm, with her nodding as she left. I climbed onto the bed and laid next to her, with me closing my eyes.

The next day

Waking up to the Power 8 building, I made my way inside, with me seeing them packing up. "Stop everything you're doing!" I said, holding up my badge. "As of right now, everything here is now under control by S.H.I.E.L.D." I said, shocking them.

"Hey, you cant do that, you don't have the power to-"

"This is a global threat, and with you keeping this product going puts everyone at risk." I said, handing him a piece of paper. "If you do not cooperate, you will be arrested and charged with global terrorism." I said, shocking him as he read the papers.

"Seriously, this isn't fair, you cant-"

"I can, and did." I said, narrowing my eyes at him. "Your Mutant Poison plan, ends here and now." I said, with agents walking past me and started escorting everyone out of the building.

"We got everything from here." One of the scientists said, with me nodding to them as I turned around and walked away, knowing that they were going to destroy everything there to ensure that the poison never gets out.
