Chapter-19: Rock Lee vs Naruto

A/N: Nothing to say really except I am disappointed at having no new reviews or anything, ah well, hope you guys review this time.
Naruto and Lee both made their way down to fight and the audience could feel Naruto's impatience rolling off of him, "Come on bushy brows, let's hurry up and get this over with. I have someone to take care of after defeating you!"
Lee shook his head, "No, no Naruto-Kun, you shouldn't let Gaara-san dim the flames of your youth! And I won't just back down out of pity Naruto-Kun, I too wish to reach the finals and take on Gaara-san. Let our flames of youth burn bright while we attempt to overtake one another."
Hearing Lee's speech, Naruto couldn't help but feel embarrassed at the way he had just treated a fellow Leaf shinobi.
"Sorry, bushy-brows. But I won't back down either, let's have a good match."
"Yosh! Naruto-Kun, that's the spirit." Lee said while falling into a stance ready to attack, "Now let us fight."
"You know I haven't said, 'begin' yet, right?" Interrupted Genma.
Both Lee and Naruto looked a Genma sheepishly and muttered an apology.
"Anyway now, BEGIN!"
Genma didn't have to repeat himself, immediately, Lee rushed at Naruto not yet having worn his weights. Naruto anticipating this ducked and somersaulted back. Even then, he was lucky not to have taken his head off by Lee. Naruto got up and took out his sword, 'Fuuton: Wind blades' Naruto swung his two swords at Lee both horizontally and vertically.
Lee tried his best to avoid the invisible attacks. He jumped above the horizontal wave of wind blades but was cut at his arms and legs by the vertical ones. Wasting no time by thinking of his wounds, Lee immediately rushed at Naruto again and connected his fist with Naruto's neck who was sent flying and crashed into the stadium wall.
Naruto tore out of the rubble 'Suiton: Water Bullets.' Naruto spat out, bursts of water from his mouth towards Lee who was able to dodge all of the bullets unlike the wind blades as the attacks were visible. However, in his effort to dodge the water bullets, he failed to notice Naruto advancing and paid dearly as Naruto punched him in the gut followed by a kick to the head.
Lee fell to the ground and spat out some blood before again advancing onto Lee who still couldn't keep up with Lee's speed. Lee punched Naruto repeatedly in the gut and kicked him in the air, 'Primary Lotus!' Lee shouted out as he caught Naruto in his bandages and spiraled down towards the earth. Lee quickly got up to his feet following the aftermath of the attack, very dizzy but sure he had won until he saw a log in Naruto's place.
In the kage box
"Naruto-Kun has started to use his jutsus smartly. A small like jutsu like Kawarimi to counter such a fatal attack. Many ninja only think of using high-ranked jutsu, they nearly always forget the simple Kawarimi." Thought Hiruzen,
"Well Kazekage-dono, the chunin exams seem to be going on splendidly." Hiruzen addressed his counterpart with a smiling face, "Your son has reached the final, and no doubt at least one of the leaf genin will too. It will be nice to see who wins."
"Yes." Replied the disguised Orochimaru offhandedly. Inside his mind, Orochimaru was thinking one thing that seemed to haunt him, "What happened to that peace-loving sensei of mine? The present academy curriculum is a joke! But then how did all these talented Genin come. Most came from clans, but still, this is ridiculous. Even that Nara brat performed splendidly and the Aburame seems to be very…" Here Orochimaru paused as it wasn't his nature to give out compliments, but he had to admit these kids had the potential to throw a wrench in his plans. Hell, all of them except the Yamanaka and the pink-haired looked like they had the potential to be very dangerous and one of the genin had even caught Kabuto red-handed acting as a spy. Hopefully, these brats were just part of a special one in a hundred generations. Orochimaru's body shivered as he thought what would happen if all future Konoha ninja turned out like this. He probably wouldn't remain alive no matter how many times he changed bodies. Orochimaru shivered again as if to dismiss the thought which made Hiruzen look at him curiously with an eyebrow raised as if wanting to say something but not daring to.
Back to the fight
"Haha, you won't catch me with that Bushy Brows." Naruto stated with a grin, "Bushy brows?" Asked Naruto as he saw Lee not responding, he rushed to him fearful that Lee's technique had squashed his brains. "Bushy brows!" Yelled Naruto again and shot out an arm to make Lee face him except Naruto never reached Lee. Lee simply looked to have slithered underneath his legs and had come back up behind him, punching him from behind in the process.
"What the…" Started Naruto before Lee interrupted, "Huh… iz at u Naruto-Kun. Whazza matta' can't beat me?" Lee swayed again and fell. Naruto again went to help only for Lee to twist at incredible speed and kick Naruto in the face.
"Ow, what the…. What's wrong with you, bushy brows?"
"Naruto-Kun who zid zat to you hic. I'll kill'im hic just tell ze name, hic." Lee changed his tune as he got up to face Naruto again.
"What the hell's wrong with him?" Naruto thought but couldn't ponder for long as Lee somehow seemed to teleport behind Naruto and hit him with a powerful kick. Naruto staggered and tried to grab Lee but he was too slippery.
"Did he just wriggle between my hands?" Asked Naruto to himself as Lee again escaped from Naruto's grip and countered with an uppercut.
"Okay, that's it! I didn't want to do this until the final round but he's leaving me no choice."
Naruto jumped back to get some space between Lee and him, then rushed through a stream of hand seals.
Kakashi and Hiruzen's eyes widened seeing the hand seals, "Jiraiya(sama) didn't." both of them thought.
After getting over the shock, Kakashi smirked beneath his mask, "You would have been proud sensei."
'Summoning Jutsu!' Naruto's voice brought Kakashi back to the present. Hiruzen smiled, seeing the Kazekage shocked at seeing one of the great toads summoned by a Genin.
"Just what has been going on in Leaf?" Asked Orochimaru, staring wide-eyed at the summon.
"Yo, Gamaken, I need your help for a bit."
The blue toad moved his eyes up, "Ah, Naruto it seems you need me. Is there a battle here?"
"Yeah, that's the guy I have to defeat. We are in the chunin exams and I need to win."
Gamaken looked at the hideous green blob on the ground.
"Whazza lookin' at," Lee Asked.
"He doesn't seem strong but looks can be deceiving." Said Gamaken. "Very well I will help you. After all, you are my familiar."
Naruto grinned, "Sounds good to me."
"Sorry little one, but this is a battle and I must defeat you." Gamaken addressed Lee while taking out his swords and slashing at Lee. Lee moved between the swords and kicked Gamaken in the leg but simply bounced off.
"You have got courage. What's his name, Naruto?" Gamaken asked. "Bushy brows." Replied Naruto instantly before seeing his summons confused look, "Oh, you mean his real name, Rock Lee."
Gamaken nodded and addressed Lee, "Give up Lee-San, I do not want to harm you."
"No, I won't hic admit defeat!" 'Fifth gate open!'
Lee's skin became a dark color and Gamaken was taken aback at the sheer power. If Lee was frightening before, he was monstrous now.
Combined with his drunken fist, Lee moved to attack Gamaken and Naruto. The toad tried to stop him by slashing around with his swords but Lee slipped through them and hit Gamaken with so much force that the toad toppled over.
The crowd was stunned. In the space of a few minutes, they witnessed a toad, the yondaime's summons appear, and now they were witnessing a Genin take on the summon, but they still had one shock coming.
As the dust cleared, Lee was still standing, but Gamaken was lying down on his back. Slowly, the toad got up, "Hmm, you are quite strong, Lee. Naruto, help me a bit, will you, just because you summoned me doesn't mean I'll do everything."
"Right, sorry Gamaken, but I have already tried everyth…" Naruto paused, "Well not actually everything. Hey Gamaken, can you shoot water bullets like Gamabunta."
Gamaken nodded.
"Then shoot a few at Lee when you see him flying, then try to knock him out with the hilt of your blade, I'll get him close to you."
Gamaken nodded again.
"Ok then," Naruto stated and activated his Rinnegan.
The crowd stared wide-eyed, especially the Hyuga and Orochimaru.
The Hyuga elders, still angry about what Naruto had done were shocked as well. Right before their eyes was the legendary doujutsu, Rinnegan.
Meanwhile, Orochimaru scowled, he had learned from Sasuke in the forest that Naruto ad unlocked the Rinnegan but he merely assumed that he was joking. "I should have kept an informant in Konoha." Grumbled Orochimaru in his mind. "Sure I had Kabuto but he was Genin-rank and couldn't freely gather info without someone getting suspicious but now even he's gone."
Meanwhile, Gamaken was also surprised seeing the legendary doujutsu that he had heard tales of from the great toad sage. He would have to mention this to the other toads later. For no he glanced at Lee focused on the battle but wondering if Naruto could be the child of prophecy.
'Almighty push!' Immediately Lee went flying through the air and crashed into the stadium wall. Before he could get up, Gamaken shot three bullets of water at him pushing him farther into the wall. 'Universal pull' Lee again felt himself rushing through the air, but this time being pulled towards Gamaken. He tried to kick Gamaken but the toad was faster as he slapped Lee to the side with the blunt side of his sword.
Lee bounced a few times before coming to a rest. Genma who was also shocked at Naruto's performance got out of his stupor and checked on Lee before announcing, "Due to Lee's inability to fight, the winner is Naruto."
The crowd cheered while Naruto grinned and waved from atop Gamaken's head.
"It seems the summoning time is coming to an end. I must go now. But I must say your skills have greatly impressed me."
Naruto smiled at the compliment, "Ok then, thanks for the help Gamaken, bye now."
The toad disappeared in a poof of smoke.
With one last wave, Naruto ran to check on Lee to ensure he wasn't badly hurt. Lee was being loaded on to a stretcher when Naruto came running to him but before he was able to say anything, Lee spoke, "I am terribly sorry Naruto-Kun. What you saw was the drunken fist. When drunk or dizzy, my fighting skills double but I can't control myself. I became dizzy after the primary lotus and became like this. I am terribly sorry for putting you on the receiving end of both the drunken fist and five of the eight gates. I will do 500 pushups as an apology and 500 more for failing to win."
"Whoa, Whoa, slow down Bushy brows." Said Naruto. "It's no problem, I survived and won didn't I"
"Gah! You are so youthful Naruto-Kun. I will do a 1000 laps around Konoha to match to your flames of youth."
"And I 2000." Interrupted a voice. Gai appeared on the field and continued, "I told you the primary lotus is a forbidden technique but I also said you are free to use what you want in the exams. It was my mistake and therefore I will do 2000 laps to repent."
"Gai-sensei!" Lee choked out crying
"Lee!"
"Gai-sensei!"
And before young Naruto could see the traumatizing event along with the crowd, the med-nins swiftly carried Lee away while giving out excuses for Lee's injuries being serious and whatnot.
