"Nothing. He's still not picking up," Silverwind remarked. "What do we do?"
"We have to hold on until he gets back, just stay alive," Thundercracker said. "He'll be back soon. He has to."
Silverwind nodded. They had to keep going like they had done so far. Only then would they see Starscream again.

Yet another fight. Silverwind and Thundercracker found themselves grounded under heavy fire, their backs against one another. With other Decepticons fleeing – leaving them for dead – Silverwind could not help but scream in anger; she would not accept getting killed, not there, not then.
Megatron's team was coming, carrying their hope of Starscream returning.
Silverwind would not give up before she saw the Leader Seeker again.
Still, she could not help but feel the slight fear of dying now.
Megatron's voice suddenly reached the femme's audio sensors. "Leave them, Starscream."
Silverwind turned her head to look up. There was Thundercracker… no, it was not Thundercracker, this blue Seeker had a pink face and a strange build… looking from what looked like Megatron back to them.
"But... they are my trine mates," the blue Seeker said, conflicted.
Silverwind drew in an intake in disbelief. "Starscream sir?"
They locked optics. "Silverwind…"
Then the blue Seeker jumped to the air, transformed and started to fire at the Autobots surrounding them.
"Who's that?!" Thundercracker shouted.
"It's... It's Starscream!" Silverwind shouted back.
"What?! Have your color sensors gone haywire?!"
"No! It's him! Believe me!"
"Okay! Here goes nothing!"
More invigorated than for ages, the two Seekers on the ground picked up their pace and shot each Autobot that got too close while the blue Seeker in the air backed them up.
"Transform!" the blue Seeker shouted, took his left wing off and landed, slicing Autobots with the sword the wing had formed. Then he turned to look at Silverwind and Thundercracker and asked with an all-too-familiar voice, "Silverwind, Thundercracker, are you alright?"
"It is you!" Thundercracker gasped. "What has happened to your paintjob?!"
"It's a long story. Come on, let's get out of here," Starscream said. He led his trine mates out of the battle and to his fellow Decepticons, who all eyed the duo with suspicion or confusion. "These are my trine mates, Silverwind and Thundercracker. They are coming with me."
None of his fellow soldiers questioned him aloud. Megatron, however, sneered at the two ragged Seekers as they saluted the Decepticon leader, "Whatever."
Starscream motioned Silverwind and Thundercracker to follow him as the team continued forward despite of their confusion. The two Seekers exchanged a puzzled glance and shrugged to one another, then hurried after their leader. Hopefully, everything would clear up soon.

"And that's how I'm here again," Starscream ended his story. While he was anxious to tell about the depths of where he had gone on Earth, he knew he could trust his trine mates, even when – or perhaps especially when – their jaws were near dislocation from his story and the images he had provided of Earth.
"We should've gone with you," Thundercracker said. "We tried to reach you so many times. We should've tried more."
"It's ok, Thundercracker," Starscream reassured. "I don't think Megatron – I mean Galvatron – would've ever let you two stay with me. He would have seen us together as a threat. I'm pretty sure he does right now."
"Still," Thundercracker insisted. "We should've been there for you."
"Exactly. We were meant to be by your side no matter what," Silverwind seconded.
"Don't worry about it. You were needed here," Starscream said, his voice softer than it had been ever since before he had left for Earth. He felt like he might cry at some point; he had not realized just how much he had missed hearing his fellows' voices. Sensing this, the two Seekers moved to hug him as if out of a shared command. Starscream hugged them back and let the Energon tears run. He would have enough downtime to let the pressure out and clean himself before he had to step out of their quarters again.
It was so good to be back home.
