Nick nudged Judy and she awoke, she gave him a kiss and grabbed Wyatt, Nick grabbed Sabrina and they walked up to their apartment, Nick and Judy set their sleeping kits on the bed and Judy went to go shower.

"Hey Nick, do you have a shirt I could borrow?"

He looked in the closet and pulled out a baggy green T shirt.

"Yeah I do"

He brought it into the bathroom and walked back out, he caught sight of Sabrina who was beginning to awaken and stir, he picked her up in his arms and rocked her until she fell back to sleep, Judy walked out in his baggy T and sat on the bed.

"You can go take a shower if you want, I've got these two"

Nick nodded as he walked into the bathroom to take a shower.

"It doesn't matter who you two grow up to love, from the smallest mouse to the biggest cheetah, as long as you're happy we won't judge"

Tears filled her eyes and she began to silently cry as she petted the top of Sabrina's head for a few minutes.

"You ok Carrots?"

She turned her head and wiped her tears, without saying a word she shook her head.

"No Nick, I'm not"

He walked up to her wearing nothing but some shorts, he hugged her tightly as she cried into his shoulder.

"It doesn't matter how hard they try I can clearly see they don't accept us!"

She looked over at the kits.

"And it's also clear that they think our children don't belong"

Nick looked down as Judy pulled apart from him.

"Carrots everything will be ok, give them time!"

She shook her head.

"I'm too different for them Nick! Most bunnies my age have a carrot business, they're married to a BUNNY! and they have 100 kits by now. What I have is a police career, two beautiful kits, and a fox I love very much!"

He smiled.

"Look back at what you just said Judy, do you see a difference?"

She sighed.

"Yes! I do the difference is I'm too different to be accepted"

He shook his head.

"No the difference is you're happy"

She sat there for a second.

"I... I am happy, more happy then anything"

He smiled again.

"Then it sounds like you're living the life that's perfect for you, it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks"

She hugged him.

"Thank you Nick, I needed that dose of reality"

He hugged her back.

"No problem carrots"

They knew everything would be ok, no one had to accept them, they just needed to accept themselves! Love is love and no one can change that!

A/N Being lesbian I've been judged as well, that's why I love Nick and Judy! Their differences are what make them perfect!! -DMH
