" We're with you all the way, Nuo!"

Nuo looked at Strahal...she was brimming with some kind of purple fire, an aura. Dark Magician...he had the same kind of aura.

Where two monsters once stood, there soon became only one monster.

Nuo and Yugi could only watch as they would fuse themselves together to create something that would rival Aethba.

Aethba stared from feet to face the purple cladded dragonoid with the green and blue dichromatic eyes, and a long wizard wand with wings on the bulb. Under the hood was a beige skin dragonoid.

"Say hello to Sorceror Dragonmaid." Nuo said completely enthralled by this new creation.

"Sorcerer Dragonmaid?! How pathetic!" Aethba said as he seethed.

"You'll eat those words sooner than later!" Yugi told him.

Nuo and Yugi raised their hands while Sorcerer Dragonmaid charged energy in its rod to fire.

A strong, magical beam of light fired out of the rod and moved right towards Aethba. Nuo was confident they won...

Something big and vague flicked the beam away. And as it did, sunlight seeped inside the dark room.

Nuo and Yugi looked up, and this prompted Yugi to ask, "What was that, Nuo?"

Nuo had a good idea what that was about. They were not in a void...they were in a clenched fist of some kind of titan. Sure enough, the fingers uncoiled and the snarling face of a god was in front of Yugi and him.

"You must be Aethba, aren't you? Or better yet, a really pissed off Aethba?" Nuo asked.

The titan's eyes showed Nuo nothing, but his smirk told him all he needed to know.

"Did you really think a god could be stopped by simple Duel Monster cards? Manifestations and spirits are all your Duel Monsters accumulate to, a multitude of weaklings who couldn't even stop my finger. I'll enjoy watching you beg to be back at that palace seeing me in human form...makes it even sweeter when you slowly learn that two things can be one in the same."

The feral miniature Aethba twirled it's body around until all that remained of him was a purple cyclone. This cyclone thrashed at Sorceror Dragonmaid. Luckily, she summoned a barrier to protect her, Nuo, and Yugi from it.

One assault was safeguarded, but with just a snap...five more beasts that looked like Aethba in half-animal forms appeared.

The trio looked around in astonishment, with Sorcerer Dragonmaid still putting up a fight as well as Nuo and Yugi.

Sorcerer Dragonmaid aimed her wand and fired a powerful shot right in the face of one Aethba. It dissolved, but another one leaped in and scratched the left sleeve of the dragonoid.

She nearly flinched, and while the attack was quick, Sorcerer Dragonmaid had to continue to attack.

She knew the only way to win was to take out the titan standing above her, so she lifted herself up with levitation and flew towards his face.

She attacked him with her weapon, causing him some decent damage to his face after several strikes.

Yugi could see most of Sorceror Dragonmaid's energy was coming from Nuo since his rivalry with Aethba was akin to his and Kaiba's.

Aethba finally said enough to her onslaught as a large hand punched her in the torso, causing her to nearly fall.

Nuo was calm, even in the face of a god with no one to protect him.

"And it looks like the God's win. Quite a show, but futile when your friend lost his dear pharaoh as well the Egyptian God cards. There's nothing left that can stop me!"

"You talk too much." Nuo stated, flicking his thumb under his nose.

"Oh? Is that the best insult you can come up with?" Aethba asked with a scoff.

Nuo turned to Yugi. He seemed very stressed on what they should do next, but Nuo was okay with that.

"He says you can't use the Egyptian God Cards. Please tell me the Dark Magician wasn't your greatest hope."

"Nuo, I...I guess he may not be formidable against him, after all." Yugi replied, a small sigh emitting from his lips.

"We are just dogs being kicked, trying to instill the fear of god in our hearts. But this atheist slash small dog, knows when to bite the right ankle."

Nuo wasn't making any sense. Then, he shouted something very peculiar.

"Ruria, Jounochi, Kaiba, Anzu, Honda, even you bitch Camille...get your ass here and help us kick this gods ass here!"

Before long, he saw them materialize before his and Yugi's eyes. Camille, in particular, was still brainwashed but Nuo needed to get her out of Aethba's control.

"The only way to get a kid to act calm is with a dad joke. Hey Camille...I see a bee. Get it, it rhymes."

"See? Bee?" Camille asked, blinking a bit before something in the back of her head caused to realize something was amiss. "Nuo...do I know you? Aren't you the dude that had a tag duel with not so long ago?" she finally asked.

"Brat, your back!" He exclaimed, holding out his arms like he wanted to hug her. When she tried to get near him, he folded his arms. "I need you to concentrate on your monster...your favorite monster. I...we need you to picture it so your imagination can call out it's spirit, or however the hell this works."

Camille took a deep breath finally after she listened to him, before closing her eyes and beginning to focus more on the monsters that served as her main force.

What she woke up to was a feathery dragon with crimson eyes and the snot of a Chinese dragon. Anzu and Honda were amazed, she just looked annoyed.

"My ace monster is a monster from a deck I haven't used in awhile."

"And who is this monster, may I ask?" Kaiba asked.

"Judgment Dragon. The dragon literally in front of you."

Ruria's ace monster, Shocktopus, appeared. Red Eyes appeared beside Jounochi. Blue Eyes appeared beside Seto. Super Roboyarou appeared floating next to Honda while mimicking his crane fighting stance. Anzu got Gemini Elf-monsters that weren't used in any of her duels yet were her ace monsters and like Honda they mimicked her stance; extending her fist with her other hand on her waist like a popstar. All that was left was Yugi and Nuo. Sorcerer Dragonmaid appeared next to Nuo...as for Yugi...

Yugi took a very deep breath, and closed his eyes, before he summoned the ace monster that he had up his sleeve.

He procured the one monster he knew wouldn't let him down, other than the Dark Magician. Silent Magician. Although this white cladded magician donning a pointy hat with a blue emblem in it and carrying a minuscule wand didn't seem like his ace monster, it could grow just like Yugi has.

"I have Silent Magician as my ace monster." Yugi told the others.

Nuo smiled, and so did everyone else. "Alright...let's go kick some ass!" he commanded.

Red Eyes fired a serpentine breath of supernova burning fire!

The other ace monsters had also approved of Nuo's bold statement.

Blue Eyes charged energy into its mouth to fire a bright white beam of energy.

Nuo turned his attention to Aethba, who didn't seem fazed at all upon seeing him and his friends. In fact, he let out a laugh.

His finger had limned the two bursts from the dragons in purple light.

"Try and stop me, you insolent brats!" he exclaimed.

"Oh, you know we will ." Nuo replied with a confident smirk.

Super Roboyarou and Gemini Elf's levitated off the ground towards the towering god. With their hands and feet, they attacked in fierce combo's, faster than the human eye could see.

Aethba took each hit, growling in anger, and had attempted to fire back.

His gargantuan fists could destroy these monsters with a single blow, but all he managed to do was damage Gemini Elf's leg...

Anzu's leg gave out as she collapsed on the ground.

"Anzu! Are you okay?!" Yugi asked, running over to her.

Anzu grit her teeth briefly, before replying, "I'm...I'm okay, hopefully."

Judgement Dragon and Shocktopus were a weird combination against the god.

Nevertheless, they had breathed fire, and struck with their tentacles, respectively. Ruria looked over at Camille and gave her a small, confident smile.

Aethba had a sadistic idea about their smiling at each other.

He placed his wide fingers on the ground and created a version of himself. The version looked up before shooting to the sky.

Nuo and the others had looked up, wondering what this was supposed to be; a human version of himself, or worse.

The moving Aethba skyrocketed into Judgment Dragon, clinging and volatility hurting the dragon. Shocktopus tried to help swinging its needlelike appendage.

Despite a few hits, Aethba chose to deflect the next one.

Nuo needed Sorceror Dragonmaid's attention, he needed it to use its magic to help slow down Shocktopus's fall after it was hit by Aethba's finger.

Sorcerer Dragonmaid, having been able to recuperate, brought out her magic staff and began to incant a spell that would summon lightning bolts.

The lighting struck Aethba's shoulder. He moved his shoulder as if the lightning made it stiff.

"Congratulations, Nuo. You get to be my first victim. I'm crushing it with you." The gargantuan peeved god stated.

Nuo grit his teeth, planning to avoid the lightning.

He didn't even have to twerk a muscle when his Sorceror Dragonmaid appeared in front of him and twirled its wand around, creating a white ghostly barrier.

The barrier stopped the lightning, but it left him in a coercive situation, relying on his ace monster to guard him from lightning when a giant fist was about to slam into him.

Nuo kept his eyes wide open out of fear, and through that fear he saw a tentacle monster spin in like a dreidel, carrying him and Sorceror Dragonmaid away from the monolithic fist that nearly pummeled him to a puddle of blood.

Aethba attempted to attack them again, though Sorcerer Dragonmaid had hope she'd repel him again.

She didn't use magic alone. Simultaneously, a now adult and very gray eyed Silent Magician was charging her wand.

Soon, the wand had charged and Silent Magician wordlessly attacked.

Aethba felt this tingle in the back of his neck when he saw the brilliant beam of light.

Before long, it hit him, giving him immense damage that was close enough to destroy the fake god.

Aethba was sizzling, his bodyplate scorching and shrinking from his loss of energy.

"How could this be possible?!" he asked to himself.

"Because you picked a weird, fantasy derived card game to enact a world dominating plan when you couldn't have just gone with a more strategic game like Pente." Nuo joked.

"How amusing..." Aethba chuckled, but still maintained his anger. "But I'll probably get myself back up and-"

"Fat chance." Yugi cut him off.

He wasn't getting any chances from the glaring eyes of eight angry boys and girls.

"Time to finish him off!" Kaiba exclaimed.

The dragons, the magicians, the elves, the robo warrior, and the spiked octopus readied their attacks. Aethba had time for one tear of defeat before...

They were all attacking together, every attack causing a chunk of his body to burst.

Before long, he blew up in a gigantic burst of fire and thunder. This caused everyone to step back in surprise as they witnessed the destruction of a so-called god.

Nuo felt something he hadn't felt since the moment he came to Domino City: satisfaction. He also realized how fortunate he was to get help from all these people even if he didn't deserve their help.

Soon, he and the others found themselves returning to Domino City on Earth, where they would be greeted by cheering people of all ages. Even his sisters Haruko and Asami were there.

They didn't just cheer, they pushed through the crowd of people and gave their stepbrother a big sandwich hug.

Nuo smiled at both of them; it was a smile of genuine affection as he hugged both Hanako and Asami.

He was relieved and didn't want to let go.

Aethba was dead but even in death he found a way to stay as annoying as he was before he created a palace in the sky. On the eve of Ruria's birthday-told to Nuo by Honda who had a magazine of Ruria with information-Aethba appeared transparent as a surface of water and surprisingly calm despite being killed by...

"What are you doing in my room?!" Nuo shouted.

"Just wanted to play this game you mentioned earlier: Pente. Do you have it?"

"Pente? Oh, yeah, I recall playing it some months ago." he replied, before getting everything set up along with the board game.

"I don't get this." Aethba said. "There's no pieces, how do we move them?"

"The first thing about Pente is you always place your stone in the middle of the board." Nuo explained, handing over a sack of green colored stones. Nuo kept a sack of blue colored stones for himself.

Aethba would ask, "So how do I move these stones? I don't think I have any hands."

"You can still point. Point to a spot and I'll put your pebble there."

"Sure, how about there?" Aethba asked, his hand indicating a southwest direction.

The game went with Aethba trying to get his pebbles in a straight line, but every time he had three pebbles in a row, Nuo put a pebble on the left or right side so even if the god got four, the mortal could stop him from getting five in a row. This kept happening until Nuo put two pebbles on the side of two pebbles in a line, so he coudl steal them.

Aethba caught on with the three pebble moves, but he made a grave error eleven moves in putting two pebbles side by side where Nuo placed a pebble on the other end. First Nuo captured two pebbles, than four, and for now six. Two more captures and he would win.

Though he didn't have any capability in expressing emotions, Aethba let out a gruff sigh.

He finally just tried putting a piece back in the spot he lost it; almost getting a diagonal five. Unfortunately for him, Nuo got a straight line of five before he could do anything.

"I win." Nuo stated.

Aethba sighed out of dejection, before he replied, "Congratulations, Nuo. You've won the game; not bad, I guess."

"You didn't do too bad yourself, either." Nuo told him.

"So now what? I'm still a ghost and I haven't learned anything about strategy." Aethba sighed.

"Be patient. For now, I'm going to go to bed so I can go on a date with Ruria."

"Going on a date with a model. You lucky son of a bitch." Aethba said, poking his shoulder. Didn't feel anything.

"It's just time together, we are not dating."

Aethba let out a 'pfft' before eventually leaving, allowing Nuo to get ready to hit the sack.

When he woke up, he got a surprise from his sisters. A colored paper taped to his door with big letters and a happy face after the exclamation point.

BE YOURSELF AND BE HAPPY BROTHER!

"That seems grammatically incorrect," he mumbled to himself, "thanks anyways. Maybe we'll go...to the park."

He got changed and went down to where his stepfather and sisters were waiting for him, ready to have breakfast together.
