The Stone Army
Everyone had celebrated after the battle at the ball. Not only for destroying the mega weapon but for Zane and Maya's engagement.
Everyone was excited, especially the engaged couple. They looked out over Ninjago city as they talked on this development.
"I can't believe this is truly happening." Zane smiled at Maya, holding her hand.
"Neither can I. After everything that's happened. It still feels like a dream." Maya smiles.
Zane chuckles "I hope it is not. I rather like this being real."
"Me too. But Zane, have you had anymore weird dreams?" Maya asked a bit worried.
"No, what about you?" Zane looked back with worry as well.
"None. I suppose that's good but….I'm worried on what Wu told us." Maya frowned.
"We will not let them take you." Zane held her.
"I know that. I just….I feel like somethings going to happen." Maya sighed.
"I thought that was my job." Zane smirks.
Maya laughs, glad to be able to forget about that for a bit.
Meanwhile….
The snakes used their crazy buss to help their leaders escape jail "Hurry to the underground."
They all rushed to manholes and once there Skales said "So Garmadon failed. I knew this would happen."
"Maybe we should tack him down and teach him a lesson." Fangtom hissed.
"Let him lick his wounds, we have more pressing matters to attend too. It's time we finally have our revenge, no more beating around the bush or making elaborate plans, lets reck this joint." Skales shouts.
All the snakes cheer and soon they all march on and dig as hard as they can to make many earthquacks.
Meanwhile….
Maya's family had been ecstatic about the wedding and a bit relieved the two would live together married. But they were also happy to bring Zane into the family after getting to know him so much. They thought he was good for her.
Zane was with Wu and was looking over what to get Maya for a wedding present "I do not know what to get her father? Or where to go for our honeymoon?" Zane frowns.
Wu chuckles "These where not things I had to deal with at your age so I am clueless, but I believe your gift should be meaningful and you honeymoon spot relaxing."
"That does sound like a good idea. Perhaps for a gift I will give her a scrapbook or our adventures." Zane smiles.
"That sounds like a good idea. We can go out to get it today while the girls chat wedding. Have you two started planning already?"
"Yes, Maya was quite excited on choosing everything with me yesterday. She says she wants me as involved as possible, accept for that dress, she says that must be a surprise." Zane shrugs.
Wu chuckles again and says "As it should be. Now lets get." Wu holds his sons shoulder and they walk off.
With the girls….
Maya was looking over wedding stuff in a photobook and showing it to Nya "So we have the basics of the wedding down. We're keeping it simple since we don't' have much money, thought my parents are helping a bit, and Sensie Wu says he help as well."
"That's great, do you really want it so simple though?" Nya looked uncertain.
"It won't be that simple but yes, we don't want anything too crazy. There'll be a lot of people there with my family so simple is better." Maya sighs.
"Okay I guess I understand. Where did you two decided to have it?" Maya smiles.
"Ninjago park actually. That's where I got my powers and where in way our bond was sealed. Pluss we both love nature so it will be nice." May smiles.
"Aw that's sweet. What about flowers?" Nya looked on at the pictures.
"White roses and lavender sakuras. Since white and purple is the main them." Maya chuckles.
"That does work. Have you guys thought cake?" Nya looks on curious.
"Chocolate mint actually. The frosting will be white mint and the inside chocolate with fudge." Maya drooled at the thought.
"That sounds amazing, better keep Cole away from it." Nay smirks.
"Hey I heard that!" Cole yelled.
The girls laughed at that.
"It sound like you two have planned everything then." Nya smiles.
"Not everything. I still need a wedding present for him and honeymoon spot. I think he's trying to surprise me with that, then of course there's the dress." Maya frowns.
"What's wrong, you worried about something?" Nya frowns.
"Just hope I can find the right dress is all." Maya sighs.
"I'm sure we will. We should go shopping with your mom and sister at some point to find one." Nya smiles.
"That be great. I'll call them later on that, for now let's go and try and see what I can get for a wedding present." Maya gets excited.
"Sounds like fun. Let's take my scooter." And with that they headed off.
Meanwhile….
As Zane looked at the photo books he thinks he found one Maya would like "I believe Maya would like something like this." He showed Wu a silver photobook with the word 'Times of us', written on them.
"I believe that one will be perfect. Do you know what pictures you want to use." Before Zane could answer though, the two felt the earth shake.
"Father what is happening. Nothing good. We must protect the people, lets hurry." Wu runs out with Zane after he pays the book.
Meanwhile….
Maya and Nya looked around and Nya brought up some cooking tool "Maybe he'd like this."
"That looks more like something for an anniversary. I was thinking something more personal like…" that's when Maya looked at her reflection and saw her necklace.
"That's it. A special necklace. Maybe with a falcon on it. It did in a way help bring us together." Maya flushes.
"That's a great idea. Oh look there's some jewelry for me." It took a bit but Maya did find a black cord necklace with a falcon hanging from it "Is that all."
Maya nodded as she payed for it and then they felt the earth move.
"What's going on?" Nya asked.
"Trouble." Maya glared and they two rushed out.
Meanwhile during all this…..
Garmadon had made it to panther island. "At last, now to completely immerse myself in the islands powers." And he headed off to the caves.
Back at Ninjago….
Wu had called the ninja and everyone was in their gear as they tried to protect everyone. No one knew what was causing this, but they would not allow anyone to be hurt if they could help it.
They had to save a lady and her dog. Gale gossip, who tried to flirt with Zane again till Maya flashed her ring. That got her to go away fast.
It was crazy they didn't know what to do. They were getting tired, they had to do something to stop this.
"How is this even happening?" Asked Cole.
"Is it Garmaodn?" Asked Kai.
"My brother may be evil but he never put his son in danger. Something else is doing this." Wu looked on unsure.
"Ninja." They looked back to see an officer and he said "The snakes escaped a while ago but we lost track of them."
"The snakes?" Jay said shocked.
"They must be digging and are causing the tremors." Nya realizes.
Suddenly they stop "Um what just happened?" Lloyd asked.
Underground….
"Hey whey did you stop digging?" Skales yelled.
"We can't go anymore." Said a snake.
Skales came up and saw some writing about Panther island "It's about that panther ninja. Hmm, maybe it will tell a weakness on her."
Skales looked about and opened and opened a door, all they saw inside where stone warriors standing still.
As they came in Acidicus asked "What are these things."
"I don't know?" Skales hisses ad he looked around.
One of the snakes then accidently hit a button and said "Oops."
Suddenly the room began to spark and some sort of smoke filled the room. "What is this stuff." Skales coughed.
Then the stone warriors eyes began to glow and with that they took dwn the snakes, tied them up and then locked them in the tomb.
"NO, NO!" yelled Skales in anger.
Topside….
"You think it's over." Maya asked.
"We should go down into the sewers and make sure they are gone." Zane has a serous face on.
They all nodded at this when the earth shook "Again?" Cole crossed his arms.
Maya sniffed the air "I don't think that's the snakes." Maya felt something shiver down her spine.
They all looked around and suddenly all the manholes popped open and stone soldiers came out.
"The stone army no." Wu said in shock.
"I thought you said they were defeated?" Maya looks on wide eyed.
"They were and where even locked up for good measure. I don't understand this." Wu dodges an attack.
"Well no time to think about it, we have to protect the city." Kai shouts as everyone activates their powers and protect the people from the new threat.
But it wasn't' as easy, their elemental powers and Maya's panther powers didn't seem to affect them.
"It's like with the pirates all over again!" Jay screamed.
"Would venge stone stop them." Lloyd asked.
"No, they are not made of the mega weapon or elemental abilities so that will not work." Wu explains.
"What about my necklace?" Maya looks ready to fight.
"It is not fully powered yet after destroying the mega weapon. It would be useless to use it now." Wu sighs.
"Then we'll just have to use our full potential." Kai declares.
"Be careful ninja." Wu warned.
They all nodded and headed off to use their full potential on the stone warriors, while Nya called her mech suite to protect the people. Wu then got Lloyd somewhere safe.
"But uncle I want to help." Lloyed argued.
"This is more dangerous than anything we have faced nephew. I'm sorry but you must not be part of this battle." Wu sternly told him as they rushed up to the bounty.
What no one knew was that some of the stone warriors where already at the bounty and where preparing to break it to bits.
As the ninja fought it was as if they barely scratched the stone warriors.
"What is it going to take to take them down!" Jay called.
"Maybe you guys need to do the tornado of creation!" Maya calls swiping away some of the stone warriors.
"But Maya we have never done it with my green energy powers before." Zane said worried.
"As long as I'm not in the tornado you'll be fine. Go!" Maya tries to get far away so she does not affect their attack.
They all looked at each other and nodded, it would be their only choice.
Meanwhile….
Garmadon made it to the cave and he rushed about looking for something "Where is it, where is it."
That's when he saw it "Yes there it is." He came up to a large crystal with several joins on it "With this I will have the powerof the island and soon I will concor both lands."
Garmadon took a seet at the stoen and held on to it but as he did he yelled in pain from the overflow of power and then he was shocked "Wait what am I looking at?"
Then he heard "Ninjago!" and saw the ninja fighting him and other strange creatures.
"The ninja, but who's eyes am I looking into?" He looked down and saw stone hands.
"The stone army, I thought they were locked up but." Then he heard a voice.
"This is a recording from Dr. Pantheres. They thought they could stop me. We could have ruled both lands, but they could not see the vision I did. So, I will make them see, whoever is foolish enough to find the stone chamber will not only seal themselves but will release my creations against Ninjago and Panther island. My family ruled these lands for generations and they take me from my thrown, I will not let them have it so easily, even if it will take time for the energy to store for my army, once they are released they will bring around my revenge."
At that the message ends "So the old fool didn't give up. Well, all the better for me." Garmadon smiles.
Back in Ninjago…..
The ninja came together and yelled "Ninjago." coming together to create the tornado of creation. As they did the stone warriors where lifted up and the ninja threw them across into the ocean.
"Yeah it worked." Jay yelled.
Then they heard "Help!"
They looked up and "The bounty!" The said ship was crashing it's thrusters destroyed.
Wu was in the middle of fighting off the stone warriors that had gotten in while Lloyd took the stearign wheel.
"Lloyd, we need to land." Wu kicked a stone warrior out the window.
"But where…." Ask the boy, and then he saw it "The water!" He called and he got to work.
Nya saw this in her mech suite and called "Guys, Sensei and Lloyd are crashing into the ocean."
"We have to help them." Cole calls.
"I got them!" Maya calls as she runs off on full speed with her full potential.
Once close enough she flies up and helps push out the stone warriors and says "Time to leave." She grab, Wu and Lloyd.
"WO!" Lloyd shoats as they all jumped down into the dessert and the bounty crashes into the water.
The other rushed forward to check on them.
Meanwhile….
Garmadon growled "The ninja have gotten stronger, but the stone warrior are barely broken. I wonder what would happen if I made them stronger." He laughed like crazy as he ordered the stone army to panther island.
Back with the ninja….
Once everyone was checked over the ninja looked over the bounty "It's mostly okay but the thrusters are busted."
"Did anyone see where the stray stone warriors go?" Kai askes.
"I do not see any, in fact I do not even sense them." Zane looked around worried.
Wu then looked at some footprint in the sand heading to the ocean and his eyes widened "I believe I do. They are heading for panther island."
At that they all looked at each other shocked. There was no choice now, they where going to panther island.
Maya looked on worried but Zane held her close, he would keep her safe and he would not let anyone take her. They would be together, he promised himself that.
