Total Drama Valley Season 2, Episode 21: TDV Aftermath 3.

In 2009, it was down to the Final Two dinosaurs this season: Ruby Vs. Petrie. But back in their home time of 65 Million BC, there was plenty of things going on as Redclaw and Dil were once again hosting the latest edition of the Total Drama Valley Aftermath show.

"Welcome back everyone," Dil grinned to the viewers.

"You've been watching these young dinos battle each other for weeks for a spot in the finale," Redclaw continued, "But now that that's settled, we should see what everyone else thinks of the finalists."

The benches where the eliminated dinosaurs sat were almost completely filled. Some of the few remaining humans, the ones who had guest starred back in Season 1 (Noah, Bridgette, Cody, Izzy, Gwen, Tyler, and Duncan) were also present at the aftermath.

"I was so close…" Spike sighed, looking down at the ground.

"Yet so far," Rita smirked, "You got your comeuppance just like Cera did last time. Serves you right for cheating me out of the season."

Tippy looked at Ducky. "Tippy wants to know if your mom's gonna keep watch on Spike after this," she commented.

"She will, yup yup yup," the swimmer affirmed.

A thought occurred to Redclaw. He turned towards his cohost. "Back at the pinball challenge, you ended up gulping down my servant," he told the belly dragger, "Can I have him back?"

"Oh yes, pardon my appetite," Dil chuckled. Greg, her son, moved the camera he was working so it would be able to capture Dil coughing Longtail, still intact, out of her gut.

"No way," Hyp gasped at the sight, "He still hasn't been digested?!"

Ichy had to chuckle at the scene. "Either he's very strong or Dil's stomach isn't," the sharpbeak commented.

"Good to have you back," Redclaw smirked at Longtail as the latter was given a towel by an intern to wipe the saliva off.

"I thought I was never getting out of there," Longtail groaned as Dil grinned with glee.

"Oh, ew," said Bridgette, looking away from the sight.

"Gross," chuckled Duncan in a tone suggesting he was actually impressed.

Just then, Chomper came out with a bunch of food trays. "Fresh meat dishes here," he called to his sharpteeth friends and any sharpteeth in the audience, "Get something to fill your sharptooth stomach!"

Myra and Rory shared a dish. "I'm so glad Chomper got to have that new show of his," Rory grinned, "The food we've gotten out of it has been great!"

"I'm just happy Tera no longer wants to kill me," said Guido.

"No problem, man…." Tera said in a rather mellow voice.

Tippy looked confused. "Why is that? Tippy thought Tera was really ticked at you, Guido."

It was Noah who had the answer to that. "Apparently they've started giving her what we in our time call "medication" he said with snark.

"And it's all so wonderful…." Tera smiled, spinning around and laughing.

Redclaw and Dil chuckled at the sight. "Well it's nice to see she's happy again," Redclaw commented, as the Aftermath hosts each were eating some of the meat dishes Chomper had prepared, to the slight disgust of the leafeaters in the crowd.

Littlefoot and Ali gave each other a kiss, which made Shorty roll his eyes.

"Oh cmon Shorty are you still gonna tease us about this?" Littlefoot asked his brother, "You admitted yourself this season that you love Ruby, after all."

"I do," Shorty affirmed, "But even I know if all you do is kiss it gets old real fast."

Ali let out a smile. "I hope she wins the finale," she told the green longneck.

"That brings us to today's big question," Redclaw declared, "Who will you be rooting for in the second season finale of Total Drama Valley?"

"Ruby, easily," Shorty replied to Chomper's uncle.

"Oh, we all know which one you're supporting," the big sharptooth chuckled, "But I'm curious to hear what side the rest of you fall on."

Longtail flew towards the eliminated dinosaurs. "Let's start with the ones who didn't even manage to qualify for the reason," he said, holding a mic up towards Hyp, Nod, and Mutt.

"Do we have to do this?" groaned Hyp.

"Yes, yes you do," Longtail replied bluntly.

"I guess I'll vote for Ruby," figured Hyp, "At least it would be the bigger one beating the smaller one."

"Same here," Mutt nodded.

Nod, who was less of a bully then his two friends, had a different take. "I think I'll support Petrie," he declared, "He seems pretty nice."

The assistant to Redclaw nodded at their responses. "Interesting choices," he said as he flew over to Ichy. "How about you?"

"The flyer's got my vote," Ichy declared, "From what I've seen on the show it looks like he's gotten tougher over the season."

"Wanna bite?" Chomper asked the sharpbeak, offering him a meaty meal.

"Sure thing," Ichy nodded, enjoying what the sharptooth had prepared.

Longtail flew over to the pond where Mo relaxed in. "Now let's here from our swimming friend, Mo!" he grinned to the viewers at home in both time periods.

"Petrie and Ruby are both good friends," Mo said as he swam around. "It's hard for me to pick between the two of them."

"But if you had to pick?" Longtail encouraged.

Mo pondered his decision. "Maaaaayyyybbeee…..Ruby?" he said, uncertainly.

Redclaw watched as Longtail flew to the last of the dinosaurs who didn't qualify for Season 2, Tera. "Who are you gonna support in the finale?" he asked the flyer.

Tera looked at Longtail with a goofy look on her face. "Why, Petrie of course," she giggled, "He's just so cool….and pretty," she smiled. Tera began spinning around on her seat.

"Is she ok?" Gwen asked, concerned.

"I'm sure she is," Longtail nodded, ignoring just how much Tera was laughing. "Now that we've asked the takes of everyone who didn't make it into this season, how about a word from our sponsors?"

Are you hungry for a nice roast longneck? How about threehorn soup? If you want to find the tastiest ways possible to enjoy a dish every carnivore will love, be sure to check out "How to Cook Leafeaters", hosted by the one and only Chomper!

"Hi everyone," Chomper said into the camera in the ad for his own show, "Ready to eat?" He smiled widely, showing off each and every one of his sharp teeth.

"I really hope we don't get asked to be guests on that show," Cera chuckled after the ad was finished.

"Well if you are, Spike would be the perfect meal," Myra teased.

Spike frowned. "Hey, I said I was sorry," he told the fast biter.

Myra grinned in reply. "At least once Chris couldn't help you anymore you lost shortly after. I'll count that as making amends," explained the fast biter.

"Thanks," replied Spike.

Longtail then flew in front of Greg's camera. "Careful, get too close and I'll have to adjust the focus," called Greg. The young belly dragger took his job as cameraman very seriously.

"Sorry Greg," apologized Longtail, "Now let's hear who he 14 dinosaurs who competed this season but got sent to the past via the Time Warp of Shame will be supporting in the season finale!"

He then dove towards Rory. "We'll go in chronological order," he explained, "And you and Tippy were eliminated at the same time."

The fast biter boy took a few seconds to think it over. "It's a close one….but I think I'll vote for Petrie, we worked together a lot in Season 1."

"And you, Tippy?" Longtail nodded, holding the mic up to her.

"Hmmm…." Thought Tippy, "Tippy thinks Ruby should win the season," she explained, "But Tippy thinks both her and Petrie are nice."

Guido glided down and landed gently on Tippy's head. "However Tippy votes, I'll vote too," he smiled wistfully.

"That, and because Petrie was one of your teammates who teased you last time?" Longtail figured.

"….Maybe," was all Guido said in response.

The next one to be asked was Rita. The sharptooth girl was nuzzling her beloved Chomper, and it was clear the two were happy together.

"Sorry to interrupt, Rita," Longtail apologized, "But who will you support in the season finale?"

Rita grinned and showed off her teeth. "It's a close call for me," she admitted, "But I just may support Ruby. Though teaching Petrie how to ride leafs that one time was really fun."

"He was so scared," Redclaw laughed uproariously, remembering watching that episode.

Longtail then realized he had a new opportunity with the next dinosaur to have been eliminated. "Ducky, you've been good friends with both of the finalists for a long time now. Who are you gonna root for…..and you can't skip your answer."

Ducky began to twitch as Longtail's blunt questioning was making her start to get a little stage fright. "Um….well…." she started to say.

"Take your time, no pressure," Spike said to his sister. Since he was trying to mend his ways, he knew this would be a good way to start.

"Maybe Petrie, yup yup yup," Ducky was able to say. "He may be smaller than Ruby, but small dinosaurs can still do big things!"

"You have a point there," Longtail's assistant nodded. He then flew over to Ali. While the girl longneck was a little bummed that she couldn't have made it all the way to the finale again, she was still having a good time. "How about you, Ali?"

"I'll have to go with Petrie," she said. "Mainly because if Ruby wins Shorty will never let me and Littlefoot hear the end of it," she added with a light laugh.

"You got that right," Shorty affirmed.

Cera and Tricia were busy stomping on a plush doll of Chris. "Let's crush him, big sister," Tricia smiled eagerly.

"Yes, let's," Cera grinned wickedly.

As they were in the middle of dismantling the doll, Longtail flew over to Tricia. "Who has your support?" he asked Cera's younger sister.

"I hope Ruby will win," Tricia said, "I don't know why, she's just always seemed nice, and for some reason some others have said me and her almost sound alike."

"That is odd," Cera nodded.

Chomper was the next to be asked. Having handed out meat dishes to all the sharpteeth who had wanted them, he was enjoying a nice meal of his favorite type of prey…..flyers.

"Is that a metaphor?" Longtail asked Chomper.

"A wha?" the purple sharptooth responded, confused. "Anyways, Ruby has my vote," he declared happily, "She protected me a lot in the past and always supported me. Helping her win is the least I can do in return."

Longtail nodded at that reasoning. "Perfectly understandable," he told Chomper. Going by the elimination order, he would ask Rhett later since he was counting the longneck's second elimination. His next interviewee was Shorty. "We all know your answer already…" he said to Littlefoot's brother.

"Of course, Ruby has my support," Shorty declared, "I love her and she's amazing."

"Another one lost their mind to love," Noah said flatly as he read from his book.

Tyler raised his hand. "Rooting for your crush, hi-5!" he went to give one to Shorty but he slipped and tumbled down the bleachers.

"Ooh…..that had to hurt," Dil muttered about the human who had just taken a fall.

Littlefoot was the next to be asked. "Thanks for the jailbreak," Longtail told Littlefoot. "You and Rhett really got me and Redclaw out of a bad situation."

"Don't mention it, Longtail," Littlefoot smiled friendly. "And since I know what you're going to ask, I'm going to support Petrie. It was really close, but I guess since I've known Petrie longer…."

Redclaw's assistant flew around in circles. "Your good nature never fails to let me down," he said to Littlefoot.

"Thanks….I think?" the longneck replied.

Next came Cera. She had bitten off the head of the Chris doll at this point. "I'm fine with either of them winning," she told Longtail, "But Petrie really impressed me this season. He's really toughened up."

"I can see why you'd value those traits," Longtail agreed. He looked down at the pulverized plush. "Want me to get you two another?"

"Yes, please," Tricia smirked almost sinisterly.

Rhett was looking on at Littlefoot and Ali from afar when Longtail went to ask his opinion on the season finale. "How about you, Rhett?" asked Longtail.

"I'll be cheering for Petrie," Rhett explained, "He helped me out after I was brought back into the game."

"That answers that, and again, thanks for getting Redclaw and me out of prison. Your hopeless romantic gesture paid off," Longtail smiled.

Ali suddenly leaned in. "I wouldn't say it was all hopeless," she said warmly, giving Rhett a gentle smile. Rhett gave an appreciative one in return.

"I think I can lend you a hand, Rhett my man," Cody said, encouragingly.

Myra was the second to last dinosaur to be questioned. She waved to her mother and Thud, who were in the audience for this third aftermath special.

"Who has your support, Myra?" Longtail asked, accidently getting tangled in the microphone cord for a second. Everyone had to laugh at that, but Longtail didn't mind.

"Ruby, obviously," Myra smiled, "She was my best friend this season, and I hope she wins it all in the end."

"I would guess as much," Longtail said as Redclaw helped to untangle him. There was only one dinosaur left to ask his take.

Spike, the big bad of the second season himself. "So Spike, you probably have the hardest time picking an answer out of all of them. The Final Two had to defeat you personally to become the Final Two. So who can count on your support?"

Spike gave a nonchalant shrug. "I guess I'll support Petrie," he explained to everyone. "Ruby was beating me for most of the semi-finals. But Petrie came from behind to defeat me, I can respect that."

"And that is everyone's vote!" Longtail smirked into the camera for all the viewers back home in both time periods.

…..

Once Longtail's interviews were over, Redclaw and Dil resumed their main hosting duties.

"I can't wait to see what craziness is in store for the Final Two in the final challenge," the belly dragger said with a rush of adrenaline.

"I hope they don't get killed, oh no no no," Ducky called. "We know what Chris can be like."

Bridgette nodded in affirmation. "Yeah, you have every reason to be afraid for their safety," the surfer human girl agreed.

"I just hope I can get all of Dil's stomach stench off my scales," Longtail said, making Dil laugh.

Redclaw grinned as he finished up the meal Chomper had given him. "No matter what happens, we'll be seeing the second season of Total Drama Valley come to a close very soon. And we here at the TDV Aftermath cannot wait to witness the action up close and in person!" he roared excitedly.

All the audience members clapped at that announcement. Redclaw then looked back at the bleachers. "And be sure to watch my nephew Chomper's show right after this," he encouraged.

"Thanks uncle," Chomper smiled in his native sharptooth language, grateful for the plug.

Redclaw looked directly into the camera. "And we hope to see you all next time for the big Season 2 finale of Total Drama Valley!"

"Say are we sure he's ok?" Guido asked as he watched Tyler get taken out of the cave on a stretcher.

(Next time on Total Drama Valley: It's the grand finale! Between Ruby and Petrie, who will emerge victorious in the final challenge? Who will get roped in to helping them along the way? You'll have to read and find out….)
