Carrying Nashi on his shoulders, Natsu took off running and had been going for an hour or so. "slow down man" called out Gray. Skidding to a stop, Natsu turned around felt bad, he saw them trying to keep up. "Sorry guys" he apologized. "no worries Natsu, just need a minute" said Erza as she wiped the sweat off her face. "Do we even have plan yet?" asked Gray. "yeah,we go in, trash the place and grab Lucy" said Natsu. "easy there mr. overconfident, you think if it was that simple that Lucy would have gotten out herself numskull"insulted Gray. "what did you call me ice brain"Natsu snapped back. "we both know I'm smarter than you when it comes to complex plans like this idiot" "Oh so just because I can't think of plans like you, I'm an idiot, grr" Natsu fired up his fists ready to fight with Nashi and Happy watching since he had taken her off his shoulders. Erza stepped in the middle of them grabbing their heads and knocking them together.
"Owww, Erza!" they both complained. "This is not the time for your usual antics, we need to keep going and find Lucy" said Erza directly. "right" said Gray. "let's get going, come on you two" he waved to Happy and Nashi who stood up and took off with Natsu. "Hang out Lucy, we're coming" he said aloud. " They had to stop and set up camp for the night before they could go any further. Nashi was the first one asleep along with Happy while the other three sat around a fire. " you think he could have done something to Lucy, I mean we don't know who this guy is or what he wanted with Lucy"said Gray. Balling his fits and continuing to look at the fire Natsu said "even if he did do something to her, we will help and turn her back to normal, we are Fairy Tail and we never give up" "glad to hear you so confident"said Gray admiring. "agreed"said Erza. "let's try and get some sleep guys , tomorrow could be a long day and we are going to need all of our strength" said Erza pragmatic.
The next day, the put the fire out and packed everything up. Before they took off the rest of the way, Natsu pulled Nashi away from everyone to have a private word with her. "Daddy, what is it?" Getting down to her level, in a straight taking but gentle voice "Nashi I'm not going to lie to you, this could get very dangerous, I know your young but you deserve to know the truth. " He stopped to see if she was understanding but her face told him that she was indeed listening seriously so he continued " I don't know what shape mommy is in or what is going to happen. It may be a hell of a fight to get her back. Having said that since your coming, you need to exactly as I say okay?, Nashi that means If i tell you to run, you run your little legs the other way. Do you understand everything I just told you?" Giving her a moment to absorb everything he told her, he looked at her waiting. "yes daddy"she answered. He took one of her hands and held it. "I get it, just get mommy back" she raised her hand up in the Fairy Tail sign and smiled. "you bet, give me a big hug" she jumped onto him squeezing his neck tightly which Natsu did in return. " I love you daddy" she said sweetly. " I love you too Iggy" he returned. "come on"she took his hand and walked back to the group. "Everything okay?"Happy asked. "yup, we just needed to have a talk"he did a thumbs up at Nashi which she did back in return" "let's go everyone"said Erza. "Ready little dragon?"said Natsu. "yeah , let's get mommy!"exclaimed Nashi. Everyone started running in the direction of the mansion and after a while Natsu put his nose to the air slowing his run.
"I know that smell, there's no mistake about it LUCY!"he yelled taking off like a shot leaving Nashi and the others behind in the dust. "Natsu!" Gray and Erza called but he ignored them as he kept running. "Lucy, I know that's you" he thought as he came upon the mansion racing around the corner to an open backyard. "Where is she?" " he said out loud. "I know this is her scent" "Natsu, you idiot" Gray appeared in the air and dropped back down pushing Natsu. "we're a team remember , that means in your tiny brain that all of us come here together, not just you alone. geesh" "Gray is right Natsu, you shouldn't have done that" scolded Erza/ Putting his fist down and shoulder at ease, he looked at Erza and said "sorry" Happy came flying with Nashi in his paws and landed. "so where is she?"asked Gray. "I don't know , I came here and there was nobody"answered Natsu.
"That was me" said a voice from behind a door. Getting everyone's attention, they saw the door open and the man came out from it. Not hesitating, Natsu flamed up his hands and put them in front, "What the hell have you done with Lucy, you bastard" "ha" "what the hell is so funny cocky bastard" said Natsu very annoyed. "I let you smell her, my power is to cover any magic and scent that I don't want to be found. That's how i got here" he sneered. Furious now Natsu yelled "you son of a bitch!, you took her away from her family!" "Yes , yes i did, i wanted her" he said without a shred of decency " I've heard enough" Natsu launched himself to attack when in the blink of an eye something blocked him knocking him to the ground surprising everyone. "What the hell was that?"said Natsu. "are you alright?"asked Erza. "yeah I'm fine..no way" Natsu stopped finishing his answer and was looking ahead of instead. All of them were looking. The flash that had hit Natsu had stopped moving and stood still. "Lu..Lucy" Natsu stuttered stunned at what he was seeing. The figure dressed in black battle gear with a blade at her side and boots was Lucy. If that didn't shock Natsu enough, the look on her face finished it off. She had a glowering expression that Natsu had never seen. He had never seen her eyes look so angry. "Lucy, it's us"said Natsu. "I don't know you, hiyah"she sped towards Ntsu who barely dodged her attack. "jeeze, she's fast"muttered Natsu. He got back up while Lucy started chuckling but not in a postive or nice way. "You ready to fight ,dragon slayer" "Don't make me do this Lucy, please"pleaded Natsu. "pleading won't help you" she went for him again and managed to get him this time as she jabbed him and threw him against a tree. "Natsu!" Gray and Erza called out. NO!, stay out of this " urged Natsu. "men come"ordered the man. Men came rushing out the door . " Get them " he ordered pointing to Erza and Gray. "Happy, protect Iggy"ordered Gray. "Aye" Happy stood in front of Nashi ready to defend her.
A blast of lightning suddenly came out of nowhere and directly hit Natsu making him yell in pain. " ..ahh lightning come from?" he asked stumbling to get himself back up. "ahh the the power that has control over her gives her access to all kinds of weaponry magic she can use against her opponents but you have to be a strong wizard, that's why i wanted her , she's a strong one"he explained. "The only thing holding her back is you and that child." "Shut up, I'm sick of hearing your mouth"spat Natsu as he headed straight for him but Lucy blocked him. "Damn it Lucy, get out of the way" he insisted. "I am not your's to command ,now die"she yelled going at him. "We are getting nowhere with this"thought Gray. "at this point, we're going to run out of energy if this keeps up, these solders have been well trained, Natsu come on" said Erza thinking to herself
"Natsu, you need to do something, you need to fight!" "Natsu.."Happy said worried. "No, i refuse"he defied. "Natsu, she's beat the shit out of you already" " I don't care!" he went back at her again. " I knew Natsu wasn't going to be able to fight her, damn you bastard for taking her" Gray said to himself quietly. "Ice make boulder"attacked Gray an an ice boulder brought down some of the men fighting .Erza was still fighting in her regular armor. Sword pulled and all. "Lucy, get the girl" the man ordered. "NO!" thought Natsu panicked as he looked at Nashi and Happy. Before he could react, dozens of solders were on top of him as Happy grabbed Nashi and immediately took to the sky. Natsu felt relief but only for a second as he watched Lucy launch herself into the sky grabbing Happy and throwing him to the ground leaving a screaming and terrified Nashi in Lucy's arms. Landing down, she held Nashi to the ground as she reached her hand which grew long claws ready to slice her open. "Do It" he ordered angrily. "NOO, NASHI!' Natsu howled as she brought her claws down but then she stopped. "What, Dragneel, I said kill her!"he yelled. Frustrated, she tried again but her hand wouldn't budge. She felt her muscle fighting against her. "What the hell , why can't I get this child" she thought to herself angrily. "There it is, the sign I've been waiting for, I know what to do now" Natsu thought with glee
