"The End of a Dynasty is only the beginning of another, the age of the Sun is over! Let the age of the Sentinel wash over the land and bring light until all that need guidance and truth!" - Queen Sashia, Wife of King Novic

Atlanta snarled as she battled Anubis through the temple, her black blade clashing against the blue energy blade of Anubis' khopesh. The armored Jackal headed deity battled harder and harder, making Atlanta put everything she knew into this fight. The curved khopesh blade didn't help any as it allowed Anubis to get in under her guard quite easily, as sparks flew around them as they battled. Anubis slashed and jabbed at her chest, forcing Atlanta to block with an awkward parry before slashing at his legs.

Anubis deflected the blow before they entered a new room, which was built over an active lava flow and volcano! The heat intensified as they battled over a stone like bridge, the rocks becoming hazy with heat from the flowing lava. Atlanta was sweating bullets as she gritted her teeth, Anubis was holding his weapon in one hand as he defended himself from her brutal onslaught. He clearly was used to this sort of environment, the heat didn't affect him at all.

"You fight well," He noted, attacking with several thrusts and a slash, Atlanta blocking them before forcing the God into a blade lock, "But you are still young, I have experience that you lack."

"Yeah, so?" She grunted, shoving Anubis back before slabbing at his arm in a faint before slashing his thigh armor, "I got the youth on my side."

"Indeed but I have something you don't have," He snapped and blasted Atlanta onto her back before flipping his blade around, slamming it down towards her belly.

Something blocked the blade, as Atlanta looked up, Diana was holding her crucible in her hands. The black blade hummed before she kicked Anubis away, deactivating Atlanta's crucible and putting it on her chest. She then pulled out her own crucible, which looked like two foot and a half long handles pressed together. Her mother flicked her wrist and the handles moved, moving to become one long handle before they activated.

Silver blades hummed from both ends of the handle, the meter long energy blades having thinner, sharper edges. Diana smirked before she attacked Anubis, a whirlwind of silver and power. Atlanta couldn't help but watch them in shock, since when did her mother get so good with a crucible staff?!

Diana hissed as her crucible spun around her, Anubis now being pushed back as he was being attacked all fronts. The Jackal God was now entirely focused on not getting killed as lava erupted around them, her powers and his own causing the room to become more unstable. Blue and silver clashed with such veracity that it was like the slamming of tectonic plates against one another. Diana slashed at Anubis, her crucible staff twirling around her as she pressed her advantage.

Anubis was panting now, his defenses becoming much more open, allowing Diana to get in more and more small cuts on his armor. She knew this fight wouldn't have lasted forever so she ended it, kicking Anubis in the face, she caused the God to stumble before slamming her blade through his chest. Anubis looked at her in shock, before falling to his knees, the light fading from his armored eyes before she was blasted back. Whatever Anubis was, he wasn't that same Anubis that had been on Earth, Anubis never had that much power within him.

"Lets get out of here and find your father," Diana shouted over the roaring lava to Atlanta as she got up, "NOW!"

The Slayer grimaced as he battled Ra, his armor glowing from all the hits that he had gotten. Ra was able to read and anticipate his moves so easily, like he knew what was going to happen. Perseus snarled before blasting Ra back to get his breath but Ra was on him, his yellow blades aimed to kill him. He parried, blocked and deflected, doing his best not to get killed as the superior sword fighter kept him on the back foot. That was until Diana and Atlanta appeared and joined in the fight, but Ra only smirked.

"Bring out all your Sentinels," He laughed maniacally, his whirling around him, "I will kill you all!"

The Slayer snarled as he went on the offensive, his red crucible slashing and hacking at Ra's weapon as Diana and Atlanta attacked him as well. But nothing seemed to be getting through his guard at all, which was now making him pissed. His body started glowing blood red as he pushed Ra's blade closer to his face, making the deity look at him in shock.

"What is this?!" He hissed darkly, "You can't beat me!"

"Watch me." Perseus snapped before Ra's own blade was pushed into his eyes.

Suddenly Ra looked like another being, fully armored and armed with an energy weapon. Like Perseus had seen this being before, that was until Ra let out a cry of pain, the vision fading into nothing as he watched the deity fall to his knees. All around them, the soldiers of Ra started collapsing, their armor clattering to the ground as whatever was inside them turned to dust. Ra gasped in agony as his city started to collapse in on itself, the people screaming in fear as the Sentinels started pushing the people to safety.

The Slayer marched up to the fallen God and looked at him, dust was drizzling out of the cracks in his armor as he gasped for air. He grabbed Ra's helmet and yanked it off, revealing a bird-like head that looked to be made up of the fabric of the universe. He blinked before the helmet dropped as Ra looked up at him.

"Look at what you have done, boy," He snarled, froth as blue as the sky forming in his beak, "You've doomed this entire planet to endless suffering! I was going to save it from that! You've killed them!"

The Slayer shook his head in disgust, "You are nothing but a fool and a being from an age long forgotten. You aren't Ra, you are a Celestian."

Ra howled in anger but the Slayer slashed through Ra's neck, ending the Celestian. The body turned to dust as the being from the age before the Sentinels passed away, leaving nothing behind but his armor that glinted in the sunlight. Diana walked up to him as he looked at her and pressed his helmeted head against hers.

"It is done, love," Diana said softly, looking into his eyes, "We must prepare for the next assault."

"Is it worth it though?" He asked, his body trembling.

Diana nodded, "It is, once this entire war is over, we can rebuild everything and help those in need to not suffer any longer from the likes of those that want to rule with an iron fist. Just a little longer and it will all be over, Perseus."
