Most time that I see a new imitation Rider, they make no effort to deceive the Riders' allies the way the original Shocker Rider did. Let's see if this new one makes up for that. Disclaimer: I don't own Kamen Rider, Tokyo Ghoul, or any other referenced media.

*We start with a close-up of Ken Kaneki's face as he eyes dart back and forth*

A-MA-ZON!

*With that declaration, we get our opening music and the series title*

Tokyo Amazon

Question the wide, open skies! Ask them who am I?

*Ken is seen leaping and swinging through a Japanese forest.*

Amazon Rider! That is who I am!

*He lands near Touka and two new heroes, Nishiki Nishio and Hideyoshi Nagachika, as they pose like beasts.*

Fight against me if you would prefer, envoys of evil

*Ken's GiGi Armlet is seen, as well Touka's Amazon Driver, with Nishiki and Hideyoshi having Amazon Driver's of their own.*

Did you see? The Jungler that I'm riding on

*Kurojusha of the Garanda Empire appeared and surround the group.*

Fangs laid bare in the light, a tooth for a tooth

*Ken takes a predatory stance, his mouth open as if bearing fangs.*

Fearsome claws growl and roar, an eye for an eye

*The four Riders quickly attack and deal with the Kurojusha.*

For justice, I'll be a ghoul, a noble demon

*They transform into their Rider forms, Nishiki a bright red suit with silver chest called Kamen Rider Alpha, and Hideyoshi and pure silver form called Kamen Rider Sigma.*

Amazon Rider, he is finally here

*The four Riders race off, Amazon on his Jungler while the others have their Junglaiders, before they are seen making one final pose with Amazon in the center, Omega on his back, Alpha to his right, and Sigma to his left.*

Chapter 23: Another Imitation Rider!?

On an island some distance form Japan, a helium bomb was detonated, talking out the entire thing. Emperor Zero stood before the curtain in Garanda's throne room. "Glory to the omnipotent ruler." 'Great Emperor Zero,' Ruler replied, 'Was the helium bomb a success?' "It was," Emperor Zero replied, "A great one at that." 'Excellent,' Ruler replied, 'We can set the helium bomb in Tokyo as a foolish prize, and destroy three main islands of Japan. Once the radioactive fallout fades… We will build the Garanda Empire over it.'

Emperor Zero bowed. 'However,' Ruler continued, 'We have just one bomb left. Set this everywhere. Failure will be unforgivable.' Emperor Zero nodded in understanding. "I will make doubly sure that we do not fail this time." 'Then I will be awaiting that day,' Ruler said. Emperor Zero rose to his feet. "This will be our final chance. If we cannot succeed this time… Then we have no other choice but to resort to that…"

Later, Ringate News came in with a report about the island that suddenly blew up, with experts believing a helium bomb was responsible. Many were fearing that the country was heading for annihilation, with no one knowing who could have had such a powerful bomb. Ritsuko went to wake up Masahiko, only to find a giant salamander sleeping in the bed instead of Masahiko.

Ritsuko quickly backed away, bumping into her brother as he came in. The sleeping salamander transformed into a salamander humanoid and got out of the bed. "A Garanda Beastman!," Masahiko realized. Ritsuko started throwing things at it, managing to hit its snout and cause some pain. The siblings ran out of the house, only to be confronted by the Kurojusha. Fortunately, Tobei drove over, scattering the grunts and letting the siblings escape in his car.

Salamander Beastman exited the house. "You really think you can escape so easily?" Tobei was driving as fast as he could. "What was Garanda suddenly doing at your house?" "Some sort of salamander beastman just popped into my room while I out," Masahiko said, "It was creepy! But what does Garanda want with us all of a sudden?" That's when Salamander Beastman appeared in the back window, causing Ritsuko to scream and had Tobei stopping the car. He disappeared once they were stopped.

Tobei got out to take a look just in case. Everything seemed clear, however. That is, until two trucks carrying Kurojusha pulled up to block the car. That's when Ken showed up. He leapt down to attack the Kurojusha, letting the trio get away. Tobei came over. "How did you know we were in trouble?" "I saw the Kurojusha riding a car going in this direction," Ken explained. Tobei nodded. "Masahiko and Ritsuko had a beastman attack them right in their own home."

Ken looked confused. "Right in their own home?" Tobei nodded. "That house has certainly become dangerous! I was thinking of finding a place to hide." Ken nodded. "Alright, I'll escort you." "That would be helpful," Tobei said, "You can ride in the passenger seat. It's not the Jungler, but it's a good ride." Ken nodded and got inside. "Drive quickly." Tobei nodded with a little hesitation. There seemed to be something off about Ken just now.

The car kept going as Ken gave directions. "By the way," Tobei said, "Are you aware of the Helium Bomb Event?" Ken nodded. "Yes, I know of it." Tobei nodded. "I can't believe something so terrible happened. It's either my imagination or Garanda is behind it. What do you think?" Ken started chuckling darkly. "I should have expected no less from you… Tobei Tachibana!" Tobei was shocked, since that was not Ken's voice coming out of his mouth.

"I was just about to ask where the rest of the pack was," Tobei noted as he stopped the car. The fake Ken smirked. "I'm impressed you figured out that we of the Garanda Empire was behind the helium bomb." The fake revealed itself to be Salamander Beastman. The entire car was now surrounded by Kurojusha. "Now if you'll excuse me!," Salamander Beastman said, "I'll be taking the boy and girl!" Tobei tried to stop them, but was thrown out of the car as a Kurojusha got in the driver's seat and sped off.

The car was surrounded on both sides by trucks in order to discourage pursuit. Meanwhile, the real Ken and his pack were driving just above were the convoy was. They soon came across Tobei in the middle of a dirt road. "What's up Tobei?," Ken asked, "What are you doing out here?" Tobei was suspicious for a second, but realized that if anyone would know who the real Ken was it would be his pack. He then noticed the GiGi Armlet, and realized the fake wasn't wearing it.

"Yo, Old Man," Touka said, "You gonna come down to Earth?" Tobei shook himself out of his thoughts. "We have a problem! Garanda sent a new beastman! It disguised itself as Ken and kidnapped Ritsuko and Masahiko! They had a-" "Helium bomb," Ken said, "We heard about the island blowing up on the radio. We were just looking for it. Moley's digging underground to see if he can sniff it out." "Which way did they go?," Hideyoshi asked. "They went back that way in a car," Tobei said, pointing behind them. The pack turned around and rode off.

"Welcome back, Salamander Beastman!," Emperor Zero said. The beastman nodded, his two captives tied up nearby. "I was able to abduct these two as instructed!" "Excellent work," Emperor Zero said with a nod, "You know your mission now, yes?" "Of course," Salamander Beastman replied, "Use these two as bait to lure out Amazon! And then take away his life!" Emperor Zero nodded. "The Helium Bomb Operation still needs time. Anyone that gets in the way, will be killed!"

He demonstrated the power of his last on some Kurojusha, destroying them. He laughed. "And it seems Amazon has arrived." Indeed, the Rider Pack was already approaching, spotting Tobei's car. "Looks empty," Nishiki noted. Ken nodded and opened the door, triggering an explosion. Fortunately, Moley had been digging just underneath the pack, causing them to drop underground just as the explosion went off. "Talk about a stroke of luck," Touka said. "I thought I sensed you guys above me," Moley said, "I think Garanda must have a safe house nearby."

They were near a stream and started cleaning the dirt and soot off of them. Before long, Ken wound up stepping on a salamander's neck. Seeing this, he quickly backed off. The creature turned into Salamander Beastman. "Ow… I didn't expect you to step on me so hard. Whatever, I was waiting here for you! I am here to take your life!" The pack leapt at the beastman and started attacking him.

The beastman used his large tail as a club in order to unbalance them, then lifted Ken into the air to try choking him out as the others pounding on to get him to stop. Meanwhile Tobei was walking over, spotting the Rider Machines. "Ken and his pack must be nearby. But which way did they go?" The beastman kept going after Ken, getting interrupted by the rest of the pack, with even Moley getting some sharp hits in. They started to transform.

"Hold it!," Salamander Beastman called, "Transform, and they die!" He pointed to Masahiko and Ritsuko being held near the top of the waterfall. He cackled. "I'll take me time killing each of you, then I'll take the GiGi Armlet!" He grabbed Ken to try and pry the armlet off, Moley hurrying up to try and rescue the siblings. Luckily he didn't need to, as Tobei showed up and knocked away the Kurojusha.

Seeing this, Ken knocked Salamander Beastman off of him. "Ropes out! Condorer!" The others grabbed their ropes and climbed up the waterfall using them. Moley soon joined them in taking out the Kurojusha. "Cowards like you could never truly rule the world!," he called out as he sent one mook falling right off the waterfall. Once the followers were gone, Ken had Tobei take the siblings out of danger. Salamander Beastman showed up. "Go ahead and escape if you wish. But look closely at the bodies of those two."

It turned out Masahiko and Ritsuko were being transformed into salamander people. "Those two were given a taste of my poison," Salamander Beastman explained, "Soon they will look as ugly as I do, and stay that way! If you're angered about that, then come this way. We'll fight to see what their fate is!" "Wait!," Ritsuko said, "We overheard that after Amazon fought with the beastman, Garanda would activate the Tokyo helium bomb! They plan to break three islands to make their empire! Our bodies don't matter, you need to find that bomb!"

"What's wrong?," Salamander Beastman said, "What are you blabbering about over there? Have you become scared all of a sudden?" "Tobei, get them out of here," Ken said. Tobei nodded. The Rider Pack activated their transformation. "Henshin!" "A-MA-ZON!" "Henshin!" "Amazon!" Amazon, Omega, Alpha, and Sigma all leapt at Salamander Beastman. The attack sent him flying before he picked himself up. He then transformed into a perfect copy of Amazon, the only difference being the lack of the GiGi Armlet.

"Well," Omega said, "We have two means of telling the real thing." Alpha nodded. "Salamander Beastman can't disguise his scent, and he can't copy the armlet." "Just in case you'd better stay back," Amazon suggested, "He just made it personal." Salamander Beastman was able to attack with anything Amazon had in that form, but it proved to be inferior since Amazon knew his own moves too well. It wasn't long before he damaged the beastman enough to force him to change back.

He then leapt at Salamander Beastman with his arm blade. "Great Slice!" He managed to cut the monster's arm and tail off. Salamander Beastman quickly regrew them. The other Riders came flying in, Omega managing to slice off Salamander Beastman's arm again while Sigma severed his tail. This time they didn't grow back, forcing Salamander Beastman to disappear. Tobei ran over. "He was a surprisingly terrible foe for just a salamander." Amazon nodded. "We'll track him down. He like ran to the Garanda safe house. From there we might be able to stop the helium bomb."

Salamander Beastman did indeed stumble into the safe house, were he was confront by Emperor Zero. "So you dare to come back alive after being beaten so badly?" "I do," Salamander Beastman admitted, "I'd rather be executed by your great might than be torn limb from limb by the Kamen Riders. I gladly accept my death penalty without regrets." Emperor Zero nodded. "Very well. In honor of your bravery in the face of execution, your death will swift and peaceful. Rest assured we will defeat Amazon and his pack in your memory." He launched his lance at full power, annihilating Salamander Beastman instantly.

Masahiko and Ritsuko were walking with Tobei when they suddenly fainted. Tobei moved to wake them up, then noticed the poison was disappearing as their bodies returned to normal. Naturally they assumed it was Ken's work, which was mostly correct. But in reality the Rider Pack had yet to even reach the safe house. They soon did however, with Kurojusha appearing to guard the entrance.

They were swiftly taken out as the pack entered the safe house. "Judging from the markings," Touka said, "I'd say we're say in the right place." Ken nodded. "This is likely going to be the final battle." "You couldn't be more accurate!," came the voice of Emperor Zero, "I've waiting for you all!" A trap door opened beneath them, plunging them toward a bed of spikes. It seemed Emperor Zero had one final trap waiting for them.

To be continued…

Okay, that was a marginally better way to use an imitation Rider. I'll give this monster props. But next chapter is the end. Read and review.
