Michelle and Ruby woke up the next morning and stretched which caused Michelle to wince a little as she did before Ruby said to her with a smile on her face, "Morning Michelle my love, what did the doctors say at the infirmary yesterday?" and Michelle slowly sat up and showed Ruby the bandage around her side before she gave her a kiss on her lips as she replied,

"Well, they told me my injury wasn't too severe to keep me from doing missions but...they did tell me I'm not allowed to go on any missions for a couple of days just so I don't make it worse."

Before Michelle then laid back down next to Ruby and wrapped her arm around her in a cuddle as she said with a smile on her face, "So, my beautiful crimson reaper that means we get to spend more time with each other seeing as neither of us are allowed to go on any missions while our injuries recover."

Ruby then nestled closer to Michelle as she buried her head in her neck as she muffled in reply, "That's good then Michelle...I umm I was worried I might lose you" and Michelle just smiled as she cuddled Ruby in their bed as they stayed like that for a few more minutes before they decided to get up and get dressed.

Then as they were getting dressed Michelle noticed Ruby wasn't wearing her bandages as she turned to her as she said, "I see you're not wearing your bandage over you wound anymore Ruby, does that mean it is fully healed then?" and Ruby smiled at her girlfriend as she replied,

"My wound has healed now Michelle and even though the doctors advised I should wear the bandage to make sure I don't open it up again I find it irritating so I took it off."

And as Michelle was getting changed into her normal outfit Ruby walked over to her and said to her, "Why don't I help you with your bandage Michelle, after all it's only fair as you helped me with my bandage when my wound was still healing." So Michelle smiled as she gave Ruby a kiss on her forehead as she replied,

"Ok Rubes, I guess that does seem fair."

So Ruby slowly took of Michelle's old bandage and saw where the Grimm sabertooth struck her which had stopped bleeding and had only slightly started to heal before Ruby looked up at her girlfriend as she said, "do umm do you mind if I touch it Michelle? Just tell me if I am hurting you and I'll stop." And Michelle looked down at her girlfriend and smiled as she nodded her head as she replied,

"Yeah you can touch it Ruby, just...be gentle as it still stings a little."

Ruby then slowly grazed her fingers over her girlfriend's wound which caused Michelle's breath to hitch a little before Ruby then gently poked the wound before Michelle winced a little as she said, "Ouch, careful Rubes...not too hard I told you it still stings a little." And Ruby pulled her hand away from the wound and blushed deeply as she replied,

"Oh umm sorry Michelle...I guess I got a little carried away and poked you a little harder than I meant to, I didn't mean to cause you any pain."

Michelle then pulled Ruby up to her feet and gave her a cuddle and a kiss on her lips before she said, "It's ok Rubes, just...make sure to be a bit more careful next time that's all, come on let's go and get some breakfast...assuming there's any left after Nora has finished and I have something I need to tell to the whole team."

And Ruby giggled a little as she replied, "Yeah, let's get some breakfast and then we can sit down together as a team so you can tell us what you need to." Before they then left the room holding hands to get some breakfast together.

After breakfast...

Once everyone had breakfast Ruby gathered the rest of their team as they all sat down together before Michelle said to the others, "When I was walking back to my room after being checked out at the infirmary both Neo and Ember had messaged me and Ember told me that they know where Salem's fortress is as it is in Vacuo somewhere but they will message me again if they find out more." And Weiss smiled as she replied,

"Well, if we know where Salem's fortress is then we should tell my sister seeing as she is the only person we can trust at the moment."

Yang then smiled at Michelle as she said, "I agree with ice queen here, if Salem's fortress is in Vacuo then we should tell Winter as she seems more trustworthy than General Ironwood." Then Blake sat there as she replied,

"Winter does seem like the only person we can trust in Atlas at the moment apart from Ruby's uncle Qrow."

Michelle then smiled as she said to the others, "Ok then I'll leave Weiss to contact her sister and let her know what we know about Salem's fortress so far and if I get any more details I will be sure to let you guys know."

Qrow then stood there as he said to the group, "Salem's fortress is probably going to be heavily guarded seeing as it's her main base of operations so we can probably expect heavy resistance from the enemy." Before Ruby sat there with a determined look in her eyes as she replied,

"Uncle Qrow, we know Salem's fortress will be heavily guarded and most of her followers will be there but when Beacon fell we didn't have an adult to tell us what to do because we did it our way and I say we do this our way again and if you think you can keep up with us kids then we will be happy to have you with us."

Later...

Michelle and Ruby were holding hands as they were walking back towards their dorm room before Michelle smiled at her girlfriend as she said, "Hey Ruby, why don't we go for lovely walk together and we could just sit by the balcony and enjoy the view in each other's company and it would make for a nice change instead of going into Mantel all the time." and Ruby smiled back at her girlfriend and gave her a kiss on her cheek before she replied,

"Yeah, I would like that Michelle as we both have to take things easy for the moment considering our injuries."

So they continued walking down the hallway and past their dorm room and continued until they got to the balcony where they looked out at the view for a few moments before deciding to sit down together as Ruby rested her head on Michelle's shoulder as she said with a smile on her face, "the view is soo pretty and I can see why you like to come here to clear your head sometimes Michelle."

And Michelle smiled as she replied, "Yeah...no matter how many times I come here to clear my head I still never really get used to this view but it's even more special because I have you here with me my beautiful crimson reaper."

Then Ruby blushed a little as she replied, "aww that's really sweet of you Michelle and umm I know we joke about Weiss's nickname being ice queen but umm to me umm you're my ice queen Michelle."

This time it was Michelle's turn to blush as she gave Ruby a kiss on her lips before she said "you're so cute when you try to say something sweet Rubes, come on let's head back to our dorm room so we can play some video games together while we wait for Winter to speak to us."

Ruby then stood up as she pulled Michelle up to her feet and smiled and stood on her tip toes as she gave her a kiss on her lips before she replied, "Yeah, that sounds like a nice idea Michelle my gorgeous ice queen." Before they both then held hands as they started walking back towards their dorm room together.

Inside Michelle and Ruby's dorm room...

When Michelle and Ruby got inside their dorm room they sat down on the bed together as they took out their scrolls and started playing ninja brawl 2 and they were laughing and having fun before they heard a knock on their door and Ruby smiled as she sang "I'll get it Michelle." Before she skipped over to the door.

And when Ruby opened the door she saw Winter standing there and she smiled as she said to her "Hey Winter, me and Michelle were just waiting for you to contact us." And Winter smiled back at Ruby as she replied,

"Yes, my sister told me you know where Salem's main fortress is, do you mind if I come in?"

Ruby then stood to one side signalling for Winter to enter as she said, "No not all Winter, please come in and maybe umm you could play some video games with us." So Winter walked inside and sat down on one of the beds before Michelle turned to Winter and said,

"Oh hey Winter, I was beginning to think you weren't going to contact us."

Winter then smiled as she replied to Michelle, "Sorry I was late contacting you guys, I was busy finishing a report about your...dinner date anyway Weiss told me you know where Salem's main fortress is Michelle." And Michelle smiled as she said,

"It's ok Winter, and umm I got this information about Salem's main fortress from Ember and Neo and I know General Ironwood wants us to bring them in but...they have been a great help to us so far so at least for now I trust them and they told me they would contact me again if they find anything else like a specific location as all they know so far is that Salem's main fortress is in Vacuo somewhere."

Then Winter smiled slightly as she replied, "Well...I think I agree with you Michelle as much as General Ironwood has ordered me to bring them in as they are criminals Neo and Ember have...provided us with some useful information so far, anyway I should probably go and report this information to General Ironwood I'll talk to you again soon."

Before Winter then left the room leaving Michelle and Ruby alone together as played ninja brawl 2 on their scrolls.

Meanwhile inside General Ironwood's office...

Winter was inside General Ironwood's office as she said to him, "Sir, I believe we know where Salem's main fortress is as it is located in Vacuo somewhere but I will let you know when we know where it is specifically." And General Ironwood sat at his desk and smiled as he replied,

"Thank you, Winter I finally feel like we are getting somewhere and are one step closer to stopping Salem once and for all."

And Winter then nodded her head as she smiled and said, "Yes sir, it definitely feels like this war is close to ending soon and Michelle said she will let me know if she receives any new information on where exactly Salem's fortress is in Vacuo."

Then General Ironwood smiled as he sat at his desk and replied, "Thank you, Winter if you have nothing else to report then you are welcome to leave." And Winter nodded her head as she left General Ironwood's office.

Later that day...

Michelle and Ruby were sitting in their dorm room together when Michelle said to Ruby, "I love your necklace that you brought me for our dinner date Rubes, it's so beautiful" and Ruby smiled at her girlfriend and gave her a kiss on her lips as she replied,

"I'm glad you like the necklace I got you Michelle, as Blake helped me pick it out for you."

And Michelle smiled as she returned the kiss to Ruby as she said, "What should we do now Ruby?" and Ruby sat there as she took a minute to think before she looked at her girlfriend with a beaming smile on her face as she happily replied,

"Oh I know, I'll ask my sister Yang if we can play Remnant together trust me you'll love it!"

Before she practically dragged Michelle out of their dorm room as Michelle giggled a little as she said, "Ok ok I get it you're excited but slow down a little bit Ruby, I'm having trouble keeping up with you!" and Ruby stopped briefly as she replied,

"Sorry Michelle, I'll use my semblance that way you won't need to worry about catching up to me."

So Ruby then took her girlfriend's hand into her own before she used her semblance as they dashed down the hallway towards Yang and the others and when they arrived Michelle stood next to Ruby holding hands before Yang burst open the door with a beaming smile on her face and bear hugged her sister as she said, "RUBY! And I see you brought Michelle here with you as well." Looking towards Michelle.

Michelle then smiled at Yang as she said, "Yeah...Ruby wanted to ask you if I could play Remnant with you guys as I wasn't sure what else me and Ruby could do together." And Yang released her sister from the bear hug as she smiled at Michelle and replied,

"Of course you can play Remnant with us Michelle, you will be way more fun to play with ice queen has no idea what she is doing and Blake...well she doesn't really understand the game that much."

Ruby then stood there and said to her sister, "Next time could...could you not hug me so hard I thought my back was going to break." And Yang just laughed as she looked at Michelle and said,

"She'll get used to it."

Before they all then walked into the room and sat down around a board and started playing the board game with each other.

Later that evening...

Michelle and Ruby were walking back to their dorm room as Michelle smiled and said to her girlfriend, "Well, that was a lot of fun Ruby I can see why you invited me to come along." And Ruby blushed a little as she replied,

"Oh umm I glad you enjoyed yourself Michelle, I umm wasn't sure if you liked board games that much."

And Michelle looked at Ruby and smiled as she said, "Are you kidding me Rubes, I love playing board games although I never really got play that many board games as a kid as my family was always busy travelling between wrestling shows so we never really got to have much time as a family."

Ruby then smiled softly at Michelle as she replied, "Oh...well umm at least you can enjoy playing board games with me and the others Michelle, you know to umm make up for missing out as kid." Then Michelle gave Ruby a kiss on her lips as she said,

"Yeah, I mean it sucks that your sister won but the next time we play I will have my revenge because I had a lot of fun today."

Before Ruby giggled a little as she replied, "It seems I'm not the only one who hates losing." And Michelle perked her brow a little as she said to her girlfriend,

"I never said I hated losing...unless it's to you my beautiful crimson reaper."

Just then Michelle's scroll buzzed with a message so she took it out of her pocket to look at it and noticed she had a message from Ember as it read "I have some information for you. Meet me by the balcony." And Ruby turned to her girlfriend as she said to her, "What's up Michelle?"

Michelle then smiled at her girlfriend as she replied, "It's Ember, she wants me to meet her by the balcony you go on ahead I'll try not be too long." And Ruby smiled and ran up to Michelle and gave her a kiss on her cheek before she said,

"Ok Michelle, I'll be in bed waiting for you my gorgeous ice queen."

Before she raced off towards their dorm room while Michelle let out a small sigh as she made her way towards the balcony to meet Ember.
