Day 2 – Missing in the Bush – (12:06pm) 14 hours and 45 minutes later…

Crash Site – In the Middle of the Bush

Ryan had just finished helping Bianca sort out the lunch rations and was now passing them round telling everyone there was three crisps each.

Everyone but Kyle took the amount of salt and vinegar crisps they were allowed and started to eat them.

"Kyle?" Belle says to her new boyfriend.

Kyle looks at her: "Yeah."

"Where's your crisps?"

Looking at the three crisps: "Em, I didn't take any because I don't like salt and vinegar crisps."

Listening to the two teens, Ryan speaks up: "It doesn't matter if you don't like them mate, you have to eat them."

"No thank you so if you want to take them and then split them between you six go ahead. I'm going to go to the toilet." Kyle replies.

Standing up he walks away to where the boy's toilet was located.

"Bianca." Belle says.

"Yes Belle." Bianca asks the teen as she walks back from where the girl's toilet was located.

"Kyle hasn't taken any crisps."

"There salt and vinegar Belle, I forgot he doesn't like them and trying to force him to eat them won't make much difference either."

"I told him that it doesn't matter whether he likes them or not, it's what we have in terms of food so he's gonna have to make do." Ryan informs her as he finishes eating.

"Trust trying to force that kid to eat something he doesn't like will only backfire as he as stubborn as they come. Where is he anyway?" Bianca asks.

"He went to the toilet." Belle lets her know.

Bianca just nods her head and waits for Kyle to reappear.

(12:21pm) 15 minutes later…

When Bianca notices Kyle coming back towards them, she quickly stands up. Walking over to him she grabs his arm and pulls him away from the group of people.

"Get off." Kyle snaps at her once he'd stopped being dragged.

Realising her grip on his good arm, Bianca whispers: "What is wrong with you?"

"Nothing is wrong with me." He whispers back.

"Kyle, something is wrong. Firstly, it was the crisps and I get you don't like them but that shouldn't stop you from eating them when you need food. Secondly, you took 15 minutes to go to the toilet when everyone else was around the fire."

"Well not everyone."

"You know what I mean Kyle. Colby and Xavier have gone to have a look for some more wood nearby. Now, stop dodging my question."

Kicking the dirt with his shoe: "Fine! I can't have salt and vinegar crisps due to the fact they have salt on them. I can't have salt which the dietitian told Brax."

"Oh, I didn't realise as Brax never told me that."

"It's not your fault. Besides, I'm not really hungry anyway."

"You still need to eat Kyle."

"I'll have something later. I wasn't stupid you know; I didn't hand everything over to be safe." Kyle smiles knowing Bianca wouldn't be happy about that but might let it slide.

"You were told to hand it all over, but I'll let it go this once." Bianca tells him "What did you keep anyway?"

"Blueberries in a container but I don't have many left so I'm going to have to be careful."

"You are just going to have to eat them all and then we can try and sort the rest of the food issue out later." Bianca says "Now, the other issue."

"Oh, I didn't actually go to the toilet I just used that as an excuse to get away from the other for a couple of mins." Kyle laughs then stops when notices Bianca's facial expression.

"Kyle, I'm going to ask you a serious question and I want the truth."

Kyle nods his head in response.

"Have you actually been to the toilet since we crashed out here?"

"Yes."

"I said the truth Kyle."

"And I did tell you the truth."

"How many times?"

"I don't keep tra…" Kyle stops when he realises what Bianca is trying to do "You think because I'm not taking the right number of tablets, it's affecting everything else."

"Kyle, I'm just trying to kee…"

"I know you are and I'm sick of it."

"Kyle, it's only been two days since we crashed and your behaviour has completely changed."

"News flash Bianca, everyone has changed. It would stupid to think people would act any different from how they normally would act when confronted with a situation like this."

"Stop it Kyle." Bianca demands causing Kyle to just glare at her "Look, I know your scared and worried but we all are and acting like that is not going to help the situation. It certainly won't help if you keep having ago at everyone."

"Too be honest I haven't ago at everyone, just you."

"Colby and Ryan too."

"Ryan doesn't even know us, and he's already thinks he can tell me what to do."

"Because he's trained for situations like this when the rest of us are not." Bianca points out to the teen "Kyle all I'm asking is you just keep calm and instead of having ago at us why don't you try working with us."

"What's there to do other than stay here though?"

"We can try and use that big brain of yours to figure what we will eat and drink when the supplies run out."

"But you said they should find us before that happens."

"Doesn't mean they will though Kyle, so we need to figure out what to do if that becomes the issue we have to face next."

Sighing, Kyle says: "I just want to go home Bianca."

Listening to that sentence had Bianca pulling Kyle into a hug and saying: "We will, I promise."
