hello! I'm back with the next chapter.
Ok the next part is very important, PLEASE READ!
School is starting tomorrow, which means my friend and I will not have time to work on this as much as we did over the summer. if I take longer to update, PLEASE keep in mind that it's because we have schoolwork/homework to do.
During the summer, this was a top priotity but now it's going to become a thing that we do when we have time. So please don't expect updates as soon as I used to update anymore...it will be too much work but no matter what this will NOT be abandoned, so keep reading! Again, school is starting tomorrow so this will not be as oftenly updated-so don't complain that I'm not updating. It may take as long as a week but I will try my best to work at least half an hour on this each day. No matter what happens this story will continue. ;)
Writing this has been the highlight of my summer and I wanted to thank you all because we couldn't do it without your support. It's motivating and encouraging to know that people read this and just..thanks a bunch. Your reviews make me happy cry (well, internally coz i dont like crying out loud lol) and i'm thankful for all of them. Even the trashy ones-because at least I know you're giving this story a chance.

Chapter 38: Punch
"ABBY!" Marinette screamed, her eyes wide. She stared at Abby, furious. "WHY DID YOU PUNCH HIM?"
Abby smirked. "You'll see."
"Okay, that's it!" Alya yelled. She punched Abby in the face, causing everybody to gasp. Abby was knocked unconscious.
Marinette's expression was full of shock. "ALYA!"
"Seriously, the 'you'll see' was getting on my nerves!" Alya defended herself.
"This is horrible!" Marinette looked angry. "You should never use violence with people, no matter how angry they make you!"
Alya sighed. "I'm sorry..I guess I went a bit overboard."
Marinette's eyebrow twitched. "A bit?"
"Fine, I may have gone overboard. But..why did she punch Adrien?"
Nino shrugged. "I have no idea..we'll find out, I guess."
Adrien slowly opened his eyes. The blurry figures that were standing over him were talking in voices that sounded far, far, away.
"Do you think he's dead?" A frightened, familiar voice squealed, terrified.
Adrien's face felt numb, but he felt someone grasp his hand, which sent a warm feeling through his body.
"No, he'll be fine," Marinette's soft voice filled his head. "There's only so much a twelve year old girl can do."
The voices were becoming louder and clearer. He fully opened his eyes and blinked to make sure he was seeing right.
"Dude, you're awake!" Nino shouted happily.
"Sorry about Abby.." Marinette sighed and helped him up. "I hope she didn't punch hard."
Adrien laughed weakly. "Oh yeah..She sure punches hard.."
"Get up, Kitty," Marinette giggled, helping him back into his seat.
"I'M AWAKE!"
Everyone screamed and scrambled back. Adrien nearly lost his balance but Marinette caught his arms to prevent him from falling.
Abby looked furious. "Why did you punch me?"
Marinette stepped forward. "Why did you punch Adrien?"
"Because he said you're JUST A FRIEND," Abby scowled.
"So?"
"He literally says it every single time! He said that in Frozer, in Stormy Weather 2, and I can't even count! It's always 'she's just a friend!', 'she's a great friend,' or 'she's a friend' and he's always saying it, I just couldn't help myself and-"
Adrien had to resist the urge to laugh. "Seriously?"
Abby glared at him. "Yes seriously. And you need to stop saying that!"
"I won't be saying it anymore," Adrien promised. "Also, can you go backstage where you were?"
Kim laughed. "That would do us all good."
"I'll be back," Abby warned them, disappearing in a flash. "Also, finish the episode," she called from behind the screen.
Oh… a friend… (smiles and blushes then he enters the car and goes home)
"See how happy she makes you?" Alya smiled. "Even if you are just a friend for now.."
(Marinette grabs her bag and goes home. Master Wang Fu is watching them at the school entrance.)
Wayzz: Excellent choice, Master.
Wang Fu: Those two are made for each other!
Marinette's mouth fell open. "Master Fu was there? I don't remember seeing him!"
Adrien gaped at the screen. "Me neither!"
Alya laughed. "Is it just me or does this guy keep popping up everywhere?"
"It's not just you," said Nino. "And he must be telling the truth.."
"You two are meant for each other!" Kim exclaimed.
Rose laughed. "Even the 186 year old man said it."
Marinette and Adrien smiled at each other.
"Now, what's the next episode?"
"Animan."
Nino groaned and buried his head in his hands as the episode began playing. This was going to be a long day.
