I have a few reasons why it took me so long to update this story. One I have been playing Bloodstained again. This time I downloaded Curse of the Moon 2 and I been doing the best I can to complete everything. It took me a few days but there are still things I have to unlock yet. Finally, I have decided to update some of my stories as well. Besides Monster Heroes, I want to update Ghost Girls and Danny's Ghost Princess. There is a fourth story I want to update as well, but I haven't pick one yet. And one last thing, I'm not rushing anyone but is anyone going to try making Fan art? I give you all my permission to do it. I heard AnimeGoji91 mention about doing it, but so far it doesn't seem like anyone else wants to. As I said many times before, I would make art myself but I can't draw. And now its time for Leo Vs Cornell.
The Monster Heroes steps into what appears a Colosseum. Danny steps forwards and looks over the place. He wasn't sure, but he felt something different, almost if something happened here that cause someone to feel bad about their actions. Leo notices and steps up to him.
"Danny? Are you okay?" He asked the Ghost Boy.
"It just...I'm not fully sure, but I feel that someone was here, regretting everything they did," Danny said.
Leo sniffs the air and could pick up something, but it was way to faint to make out.
"You right, but the sense is barely there. I can't pick up anything." He said.
"It has been many years since someone could smell a Belmont."
Everyone turns and saw Cornell steps out of the shadows and sat in the chair at the top.
"Who are you?" Slimy asked.
"I'm Cornell, leader of the Lycanthropes." He said.
"Lycanthropes?" Danny asked.
"He means Werewolves." Leo clears up.
"Ah, that name "Werewolves". A name that was given to us. Tell me my fellow wolf, why do you aid these creatures and not your own kind?" Cornell asked Leo.
"I left my pack long ago. I have been by myself for years. I have no means of harming others. I'm helping them because they are my friends." Leo said.
"Friends? Don't make me laugh. Not of them are worth to be apart of your pack." Cornell said.
"And what do you know? We have been taking down others as a team." Slimy said.
"Oh, we know. We have been watching you. Even our Lord wants to see you reach him." Cornell said.
"Dracula been watching us?" Vampirella asked.
"Yes, and he's aware of who you look like. And he knows your not her." Cornell told her.
"Does that mean he saw what we did to that stained window?" Slimy asked worriedly.
"He did, but he didn't look too upset about it," Cornell said.
"However, I wish to see how you six fight. Beat the soldiers I send you and...well you better pray you're still alive." He said.
The gates open and skeletons and zombies walk out and towards the group.
"I hate zombies!" Leo growls
"Okay, just do your best guys," Danny said.
Everyone nodded and started to fight off the Skeletons and Zombies.
Danny ends up blasting them away with his ectoblasts but was caught by surprise when a Zombie got behind him. It bit his shoulder and Danny near cry out in pain before blasting it off. He grabs his shoulder and almost didn't notices a skeleton that was about to hit him with its bone. He quickly punches it away and checks his shoulder. He did recall if you are bit by a zombie you will become one, just like a werewolf. But he didn't felt any different. He notices another zombie and blasts it away.
Once the Skeletons and Zombies were gone, the gates open again and vampires charge out that them.
Vampirella dodges a vampire swipe before feeling another grab her from behind. She quickly elbows it making it let go of her before she turns and punches it away. She then threw a spin kick that knocks the vampire that attacked her away. She notices another one and drove her hand through it and took out its heart. She squeezed it and watch the vampire burn to ash. She turns and saw another one. She jumps over it and turns around in mid-air before landed on it back and bit its neck.
Once the Vampires were gone, Cornell laughs.
"Impressive. But that was just the first round!" Cornell said as the gates open again.
Armor Knights steps out and attacked the group.
Witcha rise her hands and let her magic grab them. She threw them into the wall that shattered into pieces. She said one Knight reach her and swing its sword at her. Witcha threw up her right hand and a light shield appears to block it. She threw her left hand fire dark magic that blasts it back. She turns and used her magic to grab another knight and crush it.
Once the Knights were gone, the gates open again and the Fishmen run out.
Leo was quick to claw one, before grabbing another out of the air. He slams both Fishman together that exploded and turn to stops another that tries to bite him. Leo held on to its head before lifting it up and slam it into another one. He then turns and bites another Fishman head off and spits the head at another one.
Cornell could see that they were far different then what he and the other were lead to believe.
"I must say, you six are far different then anyone I have seen that enter this castle. But you're not done yet." He said as the gates open again.
Harpies flew out and charge at the group. Danny, Witcha, and Damn took to the air to fight them as Vampirella, Leo, and Slimy remain on the ground.
Slimy notices a few harpies charge at her and dodge them. She turns and threw her punches that knock them on the ground. One Harpy got up behind her and swipe her, but nothing appears to happen. Slimy turns and grabs it before throwing it into another harpy that was about to sneak attack Danny. He gave a nod as thanks before going back to fighting. Slimy made her hand huge and harden them before punches the Harpies.
After they were gone the gates open once more and growling was heard.
"Werewolves!" Leo said knowing that sound well.
Sure enough, Werewolves rush out and started to attack the group.
Damn caught one and threw it away before another jump on him and bit his shoulder. Damn nearly hiss in pain and because werewolves were different than vampires, they didn't burn up. But Damn grab the Werewolf grabs with both hand and pry them open to get it off his shoulder. He threw the Werewolf into another and shot his hellfire at them. They didn't burn up and Damn notices that his hellfire was weakened from all the fighting. He notices a touch on the wall and runs towards it. He reaches it and grabs the touch. He put the fire in his mouth and turns back to the Werewolves and breaths out fire that burns them away.
The group meets back up each of them tired from all the fighting they had been in. Danny jumpsuit was rip from the number of times that some monsters got lucky hits in and was bleeding a few places. Vampirella's cape was tore at a few places and she had blood over her face from all the bitting she did. Her clothes even had a few rips. Witcha's hat had a hole in it and her robe had tears in them and her face had few cuts. Leo was mostly scatch up and some of them were enough to make him bleed. Slimy really didn't look as any happen to her, but she was just tired as the rest. Damn was in the same as Leo, all scratch up and bleeding a in few places.
Cornell smiles and stood up. He started to clap confusing the group.
"Well done. I can see why you six got through this castle so well. However," He said before grabbing his hammer.
"You all still have one more fight." He added and jump down into the ring and looks the group.
"I was planning on taking you to my Lord, but now it appears that the six of you are far too dangerous to even stand in his shadow!" He said and slams his hammer on the ground.
He ran towards the group and first hits Slimy away that tries to take the blow with her body. Vampirella dodges the next swing and threw a punch that Cornell grab and threw her into the air. He was about to swing his hammer but notices Danny flying towards him. He brought his hammer down and slams Danny into the ground making him spit up some ectoplasm. Cornell felt something cover him and turn to see that Witcha was trying to hold him still with her magic. He just smirks and breaks free as she was too tired to hold him still.
He then charges at her and grabs her face before slamming her into the ground. He was then forced off her by Damn and the two roll on the ground for a bit. Cornell kicks the demon off and swings his hammer, knocking him into the ceiling. He felt someone grabs his hammer and try to yank it out of his hands. He turns and saw that Danny was trying but he pulls the hammer way and punches him.
He then heard a loud bark and turns to see Leo charging at him. Cornell swings his hammer again and Leo ducks under before getting close enough to swipe his claw at him. Leo was able to land a hit that causes Cornell to take a few steps backs before growling. Cornell punches Leo back before spotted Slimy coming at him again. He made his hammer burn and hits her.
Slimy screams in pain as she felt the heat was starting to vaporize her. She was saved by Danny who shot forward and punches Cornell away from her. Slimy smiles and passed out. Danny threw all the punches he had to knock Cornell back, not giving him any breathing room. However, he still hadn't recovered from all the fighting and Cornell was able to grab Danny's head and almost crush it. Danny could feel like his head was going to explode before both Damn and Vampirella came to his recuse.
Both of them land a punch that forced Cornell to drop Danny as he was send flying into the wall. Danny looks at them with half-close eyes and nods in thanks before passing out and turning back into his human form. Vampirella growls and rushes at Cornell. She reaches him and goes to bit his neck. However, Cornell grabs her and threw her into the wall behind him and pulls her out to see that was now knocked out. He turns and saw Damn flying him and threw Vampirella at him that he caught.
Cornell then swings him hammer that knocks both of them away and even knocking out Damn as well. Witcha shot a magic beam of both light and dark that push him back. However, Cornell power through it and reach Witcha who was shocked. He then swings his hammer and knock her into the wall and fell to the ground.
Leo growls as he was the last one standing. Each of his friends was knocked out, meaning that he didn't have back up. He and Cornell look at each other before Cornell smiles.
"You know, I was wondering why you always was in your werewolf form, but now I think I understand. You're a pure a Lycan. You have no human form." He said.
Leo breathes heavily as he looks at Cornell and his fallen friends.
"You are strong. But they hold you back. Join me, brother. Join me and we will teach those foolish humans what we can really do." Cornell said.
"Forget it! I move away from my pack for a reason. I may be a werewolf but I know there are things I don't want to do! And there no way I'm going back on my promise!" He said.
"Promise?" Cornell asked.
"I promise Mina that I will always be a good werewolf! I promise her that I will visit her every day! I promise that I'll always be her friend! Mina is like a pup to me! I will not let you hurt her!" Leo shouted.
"You made a promise to a human?! You fool! You can't trust them!" Cornell said.
"Funny, her grandmother said the same thing. Well, guess what? Mina took a silver bullet for me! That's enough to her a member of my pack!" Leo told him.
"Brave, I'll give her that. But you are a disgrace to our kind!" Cornell said before slamming his hammer into the ground.
Leo felt some power burst through the ground and cover his eyes. When he opened them, he saw that Cornell was now in a werewolf form. Leo stood ready but was shock on how fast Cornell moves. Leo was slam into and was knock ooff his feet. Leo quickly got up and was grabbed by the face by Cornell who slams him into the wall.
"You call yourself a werewolf?! We are far more stronger than this! Where your flare?! Where your bloodlust? Or are you too much of a pup to fight back?!" Cornell yelled.
"I'm not just a werewolf!" Leo said as he tries to remove Cornell's hand from his face.
"Your right, you not a werewolf." Cornell agrees before throwing Leo away from him.
Leo takes to stand up but was forced back on the ground when Cornell steps on him. Leo looks at his friends remembers everything they been through. He recalls himself and Vampirella sharing over the idea of like blood that wasn't from humans. He and Witcha both talk about being lesser to their own kind. He and Slimy meeting and became friends. He and Damn would arm wrestle whenever the group took a little break and finally, recalls himself and Danny both sitting down and talking about what kind of monsters they knew about.
'Vampirella, Witcha, Slimy, Damn, Danny. You each treated me as if I was not a werewolf. You each act like you were part of my pack.' He thought before Mina appears in his mind.
"Leo! Don't give up! I know you can do it!"
'Mina! No! I won't! I must protect my pack! I'm not just a werewolf! I'm also a HERO!' Leo thought as he started to push himself up.
Cornell look down and was shocked to see Leo push himself off the ground. Cornell nearly felt over but was able to stand his ground. He looks up and saw that Leo fur was charging from Brown to Sliver. He also looks a bit more muscular. Leo turns around and Cornell can see that he was much different than before. His eyes were bloodshot red and his teeth were so sharp it looks as if his mouth was cut. His claws look longer and sharper. Leo looks at Cornell and howls.
Cornell was a bit shock to see that but stood his ground. Leo looks at Cornell and growls.
"You want a werewolf? YOU GOT ONE!" Leo shouted, his voice sounding a bit deeper.
Cornell just smirks and rushes at him. Leo stood ready and threw a punch that knocks Cornell into the wall at the same speed that he was running. Cornell spits up some blood before pull himself free.
Leo waste no time in rushing over to Cornell with the same speed that he uses and punches him in the face. Leo threw another punch that makes Cornell turn around and grabs him. Leo then jumps high into the air and almost to the ceiling, before turning until their heads were facing the ground. They both slam into the area and cause dust to be sent flying. Cornell shook his head before he was kicked away into the wall before Leo rush up and slams into him.
Cornell brought both hands down on Leo, making him let go and push him off. Leo stops himself and notices the hammer next to him. Cornell charges at Leo as he grabs the hammer and pulls it out of the ground and hits Cornell with it. Cornell was caught by surprise and was sent down to one knee but Leo swings the hammer again making Cornell's head snap the other way. Leo then swings the hammer under Cornell's chin and was sent flying through air and land on his back.
Leo looks at the hammer and growls. He hears Cornell breathing and heard him talk.
"You are a werewolf. You have proven to be a match for me. I yield." He said.
"Yield? You send monsters to attack us and wear us down. Then you attack us while we are still recovering. You never fought fair and I'm aware that life is not fair!" Leo shouted as he tightens his grip on the hammer.
"A Lycan must do want they can to survive. We are the most powerful wolves in the world." Cornell said.
"Until Dracula come along and you were treated to normal more than little puppies. We are more than that! My pack, my friends, had taught me there is more to being a werewolf. I will protect them! Ever from my own kind!" Leo shouted.
Cornell laughs and pulls himself up a bit.
"And here I thought you were a true wolf. Once a lone wolf, always a lone wolf." He said and laughs.
"I'm not a lone wolf. My name is Leo. And I am a Monster Hero!" Leo said before jumping in the air and brought the hammer over his head.
Cornell stops laughs and screams as Leo brought the hammer down. The sound of a skull-crushing was heard through the area and many werewolves back away, knowing that their alpha was dead. Leo drops the hammer and looks at the body of Cornell. Leo growls before howling once again. He turns back to normal before falling on his back.
'Mina, guys, thanks for being friends with this lonely wolf.' Leo thought before darkness overcame him.
The area quite as each Monster Heroes lay on the ground, breathing but not moving. Soon the sound of feet was heard walking in and stops near the bodies of Leo and Cornell.
"Rest well. Things are going to become harder."
And done. Again sorry for taking so long. Now that I got Leo Monster Form out of the way, Vampirella is next. But they do have to deal with a few more areas before fighting Carmilla. And they will meet the Toy Maker. They will also fight Sam which will be hard for Danny. But for now, after fighting so many monsters (I decided to cover each member one at a time for each wave that was sent because I didn't want to wear myself out) and fighting off Cornell, the groups need a little rest. So next time, it off to see the Toy Maker.
