Hiccup's Pov:

It was early in the morning and Ingrid and Bjorn had still not come back yet and I was starting to get really worried about them. "They are still not back Hiccup," Eret said coming into the Clubhouse with his Rumble Horn named Skullcrusher behind him.

"I know Eret. Let us just get some breakfast then we can get the search team together and I will go out with them to see if we can find them." Hiccup stated. Which Eret nodded to as he sat down beside Hiccup at the table and ate some breakfast.

After breakfast Hiccup called the search team together. "Right everyone listen up. Ingrid and Bjorn have been missing since yesterday afternoon. Now I want you all to go in teams of 4.

Team 1 you will be going West. Team 2 you will go East. Team 3 you will go South and Team 4 you are with me and we will be going North." Hiccup explained. "Yes, Chief." They all replied. "Good we leave in 5 so, saddle up." He demanded.

Once we all had saddle up and were ready to go, I said to them, "Right if you don't find anything in two hours then you come straight back here and report to Eret. If you find anything again send a Terror mail to Eret and he will send one to me. Understood?"

"Yes, Chief."

"Alright then let's go," I said letting Toothless know that he can take off. I then lead my team North of the Edge.

Heather's Pov:

It has been two days since my brother, and I have left Berk to head to the Defenders of the Wing. Hiccup wanted us to go to Mala and asked if they know a cure for this illness that Thalia has since we know that a year ago, they had something similar.

We have finally arrived. "Mala-Pooh," Dagur said jumping of his dragon and running over to Mala. "Dagur. What a surprise." Mala said hugging Dagur. "Hello, Mala." I greeted her.

"Hello Heather, now that I love your visits, but you usually send a Terror mail before you get here," Mala said. "Sorry Mala, but something has happened, and we need your help," I said.

"What is going on?" She asked as. "Well to start with Hiccup crashed landed on Berk 3 days ago and he has been there. Also 3 days ago Thalia came down with a fever, an extremely high fever that gets higher every hour. The Healer said it was Child Influenza and she did not know of any cure." I explained to Mala.

"Oh, Dear. Poor Thalia. I will ask our healer and see what we can do." Mala said as she led the two through her village to their Healer's hut.

10 minutes later they had arrived at the Healer's hut and they went inside. "Randi are you here?" Mala calls out. "Coming my Queen." Came a voice from the back of the Hut.

"Hello, Queen Mala. What can I do for you today? The Healer Randi asked. "Hiccup's daughter Thalia is sick, and Berk's Healer is calling it Child Influenza," Mala explained.

"What are her symptoms?" Randi asked the group. This time it was me who spoke up. "She has an extremely high Fever that gets higher every hour. And she has a very sore stomach and she won't eat anything." I explained.

"It sounds like something similar to what we had to go around our village children a year ago," Randi said. "That is what we thought and why you probably could help us. Is there any cure that you know of?"

"Hmm. I gave give you the recipe for the healing herbs that I gave to the children here but unfortunately, there is no cure. This illness with keep coming back until there is a cure found. But I can give you that helped out children to get better is this recipe." Randi explained to Dagur and Heather as she handed them the recipe.

"Thank you, Randi, Hiccup will be grateful for your help," Heather said as she took the recipe from Randi. "You are most welcome Dear. Give Hiccup and Thalia my best."

I nodded my head before Dagur, Mala, and I walked out of the hut. "Thank you for your help my beloved" Dagur said to his girlfriend. "It is my pleasure butterfly." Replied Mala

"We should be getting back to Berk," I said trying to pull Dagur away from Mala. "No, you should stay the night and rest up. You both have had a long 3-day trip here. You should at least get some rest and leave in the morning." Mala said.

"That would be fine. Won't its Sister of mine." Dagur said giving me the look that says, 'we are staying at that's final'. "I guess we can stay for the night. I will send a Terror mail to Valka and Hiccup letting them know that we will be leaving in the morning." I said.

"Good. Shall we, dinner be ready soon." Mala said and we followed her to the main hall.

Astrid's Pov:

It has been 3 days since Hiccup left to go to the Edge and he has not come back yet. He has been sending us letters through Terror Mail letting us know what is going on.

All I know is that 2 of the scouts went missing 3 days ago and they still not have found them yet. From the letters that Hiccup send us I can tell that he is getting very worried about these two scouts that they still cannot find.

It will be causing him to stress out a bit especially when Thalia is getting sicker by the hour. We also have heard from Heather and Dagur, saying the Defenders of the Wing Healer has given them a recipe for some healing herbs that can help Thalia get better but that there was no cure for this illness. I know Hiccup would not like to heal one bit.

So, I am waking around the centre of the Village with Thalia wrapped up in a blanket and in my arms. Gothi said that she had been cooped up inside for too long and need some fresh air.

"Astrid, can we go back inside I am cold," Thalia said as she shivered. "Of course, Honey," I replied. Then started to walk back to Gothi's house.

Once we got back to Gothi's house and I placed Thalia on the bed. I then sat down beside and held her in my arms. "I want Daddy Astrid," Thalia said.

"I know you do Honey. Your Father will be back from the Edge soon." I said kissing her forehead. It was half an hour later after getting Thalia back to sleep, I heard something going on in the Village.

I stood up from the bed and walked to the room Gothi was staying in. "Gothi, Thalia is asleep I am going to go down to the Village to see what is going on," I said letting Gothi know where I am going. Then I walked out the door and started the long journey down to the village.

Valka's Pov:

I had just finished checking on Bluey and Sunset who are now staying in the Arena when I heard something happening in the Village, so I made my way down to see what is going on.

I had been trying to keep myself busy since Hiccup left for the Edge. He has been keeping us update. But there is still no news on our two scouts. Hiccup is still at the Edge helping to look for them and he won't be back till he knows what happened to them.

I am also getting really worried about Thali as her Fever just keeps getting higher. I am just hoping that the recipe that Heather and Dagur got form the Defenders of the Wing will work. They should be here in the next couple of days.

As I got closer to the Village, I saw two dragons that were out of control. It was like they were protecting something. So, I ran the rest of the way to find out what is going on.

That was when I heard. "Spitelout take the head. Careful off its teeth." Unbelievable they are trying gang up on a distress dragon. "STOP!" I yelled out. Which they did. "Let me through now. None of you know how to handle a distress dragon." I said.

They cleared a path for me to get to the dragons and that was when I realised that they had to very injured people with them. But I also recognized the two people as well.

They were the two scouts that Hiccup was looking for. It was Ingrid and Bjorn. As I took a step towards them their dragons started to growl at me. "Hey, hey. It is okay I am not going to hurt you Shadow." I said trying to calm the Nadder down.

"It's okay. I need to get pass to have a look at your rider." I said placing my hand on Shadows snout. When I placed my hand on her snout, she closed her eyes and purred. I knew then she had calm down enough for me to get closer to Ingrid.

When I got closer to Ingrid, I saw that she was hurt bad. She had cuts all up her arms and on her face. I helped her off her Dragon on to the ground, but she had to lean against me as she could not stand on her own.

"Valka," Ingrid said. "Ingrid. Let me help you sit down. Then I need to help Bjorn off his dragon." I said to Ingrid as I helped her to sit on the ground. Then went over to Doom and Bjorn.

"Easy Doom. I just need to check Bjorn out." I said to Bjorn's Nadder Doom. Doom let me pass towards Bjorn, I then went to help Bjorn, but he was not conscious.

"We need to warn Hiccup," Ingrid said as she tried to stand up but clasped to the ground as she went unconscious. "Ingrid!" I yelled. I looked up at my husband and said, "We need to get them to Gothi now."

"Right Spitelout you carry the boy and I have the girl. Take him straight to Gothi." Stoick demanded. I watched as Stoick and Spitelout picked up Ingrid and Bjorn and headed towards Gothi's house.

'I need to send a letter to Hiccup.' I thought as Astrid came up to me. "Valka what is happening?" She asked me. "I don't know Astrid. But the two scouts that Hiccup have been out looking for have just shown up here and they are in a bad way." I explained.

"We need to let Hiccup know so he can come home," Astrid said. "I know Astrid. I will send him a letter once we get back to Gothi's house. Thalia is going have to stay at your house till Hiccup gets back."

"Is that alright?" I asked her. "That is fine Valka. Thalia can stay with me till Hiccup gets back." Astrid said as we walk walked up to Gothi's house.
