SKILLS HONED AND TESTED

(PART 2: TESTED TO NO END)

THIRD PERSON-VILLERIA, BRAISA, AND MARIDA

In less than a second, Nolek swung the lightsaber he was using and Villeria ducked as Braisa rolled. Villeria then swung her electrostaff at him, only for Nolek to parry the blow, spin around, and hold his saber against her neck. Villeria then stepped back knowing she was out; Braisa then attempted to strike Nolek from behind just to get lightly kicked in the stomach and have Nolek's lightsaber at her neck too.

Nolek shook his head and said, "You have to strike at me together. You two and your friend Marida almost died because you were engaging your opponent individually. Again."

Nolek made the lightsaber spin, forcing Villeria and Braisa to duck. Villeria then attempted an underthrust, only for Nolek to sidestep and again have his lightsaber against her neck. Nolek then disarmed Braisa and held his lightsaber over her head.

Again and again Villeria and Braisa sparred with General Nolek with the Jedi beating them every single time.

During a break from training, Villeria and Braisa began to ponder how they would pass their tests since they tried almost everything they were individually good at.

Eventually, Braisa came up with the answer.

"Villeria, I think I know how to pass this test! If we attack in unison, there's a good chance that we'll finally, as General Nolek puts it, 'defeat the Inquisitor'."

"An excellent idea; with that plan, we're certain to win."

The following day, Villeria and Braisa entered the Black Knight with their plan set.

As they entered, they heard stun blasts and knew that it was probably Marida training.

When they arrived to the training room, they saw that General Nolek was deflecting every shot until he finally had her levitated in the air and said, "The Inquisitor just strangled you to death."

Once General Nolek let Marida down gently, he turned and saw Villeria and Braisa standing in the doorway. As Marida was about take her leave, General Nolek said, "I sense the Inquisitor that almost killed you will return here to finish what he started. Colonel Micraden, I am certain you will find the perfect time to strike against your opponent."

The Jedi turned and said, "Commander Nilun and General Fraes, it is time for your final test."

"Don't worry," Braisa said, "this time, we'll pass."

General Nolek grabbed the lightsaber he used before and began to spin the weapon.

Villeria ducked as he struck while Braisa rolled to the side. As soon as went for an underthrust, General Nolek raised his weapon to strike. Fast as lightning, blocked.

As General Nolek pressed hard against Villeria's electrostaff, he grunted and said, "Very good."

Once General Nolek lightly kicked Villeria back, he said, "This is a distraction."

Nolek turned and blocked Braisa's strike that would've taken him from behind.

Before Nolek could "finish Braisa off", Braisa ducked and Villeria aimed for his head, only for him to parry the strike. As Villeria and Braisa began to press the offensive, General Nolek used the Force to push them back.

"The Sith do not play fair. They will do what they have to in order to win," Nolek said.

Villeria and Braisa then decided to try a repeat of their strategy, except this time, add a few theatrics to the equation. Villeria threw an unarmed grenade while Braisa fired a mortar bomb from her launcher. Nolek caught the grenade and mortar with ease, but Braisa and Villeria used the opportunity to catch Nolek off-guard with Villeria having her electrostaff at his throat and Braisa having her vibrosword at his abdomen.

Nolek smiled and said, "You have passed your final test and 'killed the Inquisitor'."

As the Black Knight left, Villeria and Braisa were greeted by Marida who said, "So…"

"We passed our final test." Villeria said.

Braisa's expression then turned grim, "Let us hope that all this training has been for naught."
