Rose used the warp pad and she found herself in Greece. There was a beautiful field of flowers as far as the eye could see and it was magnificent. Rose remembered coming to this very place years ago, when she was still Pink Diamond. Not far from where she was, Lion came walking forward.

"You will need support.""Thank you Lion. But I am on my own. I brought this terror to life somehow and I'm going to stop it." said Rose.

"Do you wish to know why he chose Greece as the perfect place to fight?"Rose shook her head.

"Over the years, humanity began to worship strange and false Gods of many legends. The true cause of these legends were the acts of the wicked demons. Quetzan has become one of them, for he has taken the role of a few Gods himself. Cupid, Hades and Zeus.""He's playing pretend then? How old does he think he is?" asked Rose.

"Quetzan is very powerful. Beware Rose.""Thank you Lion. But here's something Quetzan probably is taking for granted. He may be powerful, but not as powerful as an ex Diamond." said Rose, breaking her own promise just this once.

She walked towards the glen of flowers and saw Quetzan, kissing someone. Rose stood there and watched as Quetzan dropped the body on the floor. Rose shook her head to see an unfortunate woman, now passed.

"What did you do?" she asked very sternly.

"I seduced her. I became Human for a limited time, seduced this married woman of three children and she came here, hoping to have a passionate encounter. She thought she was struck by the arrows of Eros. But no. She was lured by me. A new being brought to life." said Quetzan.

Rose drew her sword. And Quetzan started to laugh. "What the hell are you wearing?"

Rose realized she was still wearing the Mr. Universe T shirt. "A friendly human gave it to me. I like it." said Rose.

"Mr. Universe? Hah! What a joke! I am the UNIVERSE!" cried Quetzan as he floated into the air with his large golden wings. His body began glow yellow as if the sun was feeding him power.

"Let this be the day that I will open the atmosphere and the core! I will use the planet as a vessel to travel to one world and the next! Then I will recreate the Universe in my image and I will be reborn as a new God!" cried Quetzan.

Rose scoffed. "I'm afraid that won't happen. You are a human. And the path you are choosing will lead to your death. I'm giving you this last chance. Leave your infatuations! Leave the universe be!" cried Rose.

Quetzan ignored her and he threw a powerful fire ball at Rose. She dodged it by floating in the air and threw her sword at Quetzan.

"Didn' you want to fight in Bismuth's cave?!" cried Rose.

"I find this open field much better!" cried Quetzan as he threw more fire balls at Rose.

Meanwhile, Pearl, Amethyst and Garnet were fighting Cory on the beach.

"You cannot be the Crystal Gems. You three are weak compared to the originals!" cried Cory with a laugh.

"How dare you! We have been together since the beginning!" cried Pearl.

"Oh yeah! I forgot! You and her were good friends. You two were... way to close to be friends." said Cory.

"Shut up!" cried Amethyst as she used her whips to land a few attacks on Cory.

Garnet jumped high into the air, trying to hit Cory, but she quickly slithered on the floor like a cobra amazingly and then she whistled. In a matter of minutes, corrupted Gems rose from the sand like zombies and attacked the trio.

"Oh my gosh!" cried Amethyst.

"Don't lose concentration!" cried Garnet.

Pearl however avoided to corrupted gems. She wanted to get close to Cory. She needed to. She was going to do it for her. And also because of a deep reason. Cory knew Rose's dark secret. And Pearl couldn't afford for Cory to tell the truth in front of Garnet and Amethyst who were kept in the dark.

Rose and Quetzan were still fighting, and Rose felt that she was going to lose. Quetzan was unlike anything she has fought with before. He didn't even compare to Jasper or a mere Topaz soldier. This creature was in another league. Just then, a ray of electricity hit Quetzan in the chest. Rose turned to see Lion shoot light beams from his mouth.

"Now Rose! Strike him while he's on the ground!"

Rose rose up and quickly ran towards Quetzan who was starting to float up in the air. Rose then threw her sword straight at Quetzan. But he saw it coming and used his hands to grab Rose's sword and wileded it.

"Now I'm complete! Not only will I win this day, I have also taken the sword of PINK DIAMOND!" cried Quetzan.

Rose scowled at Quetzan. "The name is Rose."

She then snapped her fingers and the sword vanished in Quetzan's hands. Lion shot a light ball once again, dropping Quetzan to the floor and then Rose slices him across the chest with her sword.

Quetzan's eyes grew wide with rage as he looked at the deep wound that Rose left him. "What have you done?!" he cried.

Just then, his chest exploded and a dozen stars began to fly off into the sky, away from Quetzan. He tried to grab them, but they went through his hand.

"No! WHAT IS THIS! WHAT DID YOU DO TO ME!" cried Quetzan as he began to age right before Rose's eyes. He slowly began to show wrinkles, then his once beautiful brown hair was growing white as a cloud and his wings were vanishing. Slowly, Quetzan became like a mummified corpse and eventually, he became dust in the wind.

Rose let out a sigh of relief and fell on the flowery field. "It's over isn't it?" she said aloud.

Lion walked up to her and sat next to her.

Back home, Pearl managed to pierce her spear on Cory, who was also disentegrating before everyone.

"Rose is... Rose is..." Cory was about to say until Pearl sliced her dusty face with her spear.

"And she's gone." said Pearl.

"And so are the corrupted Gems!" cried Amethyst.

"We bubbled them all." said Garnet.

"Quick, let's go put them in your collection!" cried Amethyst.

"Alright. I'm just glad it's all over." said Garnet.

"Is Rose alright?' asked Pearl.

Garnet gave Pearl a thumbs up. And Pearl let out a sigh of relief. "Thank goodness." she said as they all used the warp pad.

Rose arrived back in the cave, only to see Greg Universe there, singing a song with his guitar. Rose was enchanted to see him there. She wanted comfort and a hug after fighting her once true love. No, that was a lie. Quetzan was NEVER her true love. He was wicked. And twisted. But Greg Universe... he was different. He was more loving and shy and honest. Rose instantly fell in love with him. But to suffer another heart break...

"Please, you need to leave." said Rose.

"What?" asked Greg as he stopped playing his song.

Rose then spoke. "Your awfully cute. But your life is too short and you have dreams! I won't stand in the way of everything you want." said Rose.

Greg shook his head. "Well that's going to be a problem. Your everything I want!" cried Greg.

Rose chuckled. "I"m Rose." she said.

"I"m Greg."

"Let's go out for a walk. I'm in need of one." said Rose.

"Me too. Let's get to know eachother." said Greg holding Rose's hand. As they walked in the beach, the other Gems arrived and Pearl watched from afar. Her eyes went wide with mixed emotions and she quickly shook her head.

"He's just a novelty. Quetzan and Cory were like that. He will go away..." said Pearl to herself.
