"Alright. The real suspect has got to be in this house so let's check this room first but be careful." Jupiter says as Bob then pulls out the tube that Jupiter's mother had hidden before a man comes out of nowhere and grabs it before taking off running as the group runs after him. The group then stops and uses the substance from before to let Peter go through the fire while the others stay behind.
"I made it. I'll turn off the fire." Peter says as he turns the fire off allowing the group to continue running.
"Dead end. According to the map there has to be a way to get down to the boiler room from here." Jupiter says as the group comes to a dead end.
"Guys. I found a lever." Alexis says as Jupiter then pulls the lever causing the group to down in an elevator.
"The machine. It's the same as the one in the notebook." Bob says as the group arrives in the boiler room and sees the machine from the notebook.
"Look at those diamonds." Peter says seeing some diamonds in a cart.
"I don't think I've ever seen something so beautiful." Alexis says as she looks at the diamonds.
"Crystallized manifestations." A voice says revealing to be the man from earlier as he slowly goes closer to the group.
"Because you can always make more. That's what this machine is for isn't it? It makes diamonds. perfect natural diamonds. With the enormous pressure of this boiler. That's Terrill's secret. His ultimate invention. He pushed steam power to limits scientists can still only dream about." Jupiter says as the man goes over to the machine.
"That was the price at least. My wife. I wanted to love my wife. I thought the more I could give her the more she would love me. I have suffered greatly." The man says before he attacks the group and takes off with the machine as the group chases him to the elevator.
"I'm not giving up." Jupiter says as he jumps onto the bottom of the elevator and leaves with the man.
"Bob how long do you say we have before the boiler explodes?" Peter asks as he, Alexis, and Bob look at the boiler.
"I'd say about ten minutes. Make that five." bob says.
"Less talk more thinking. We gotta find a way to stop that boiler or get out of here." Alexis says before the group hides in Bob's tent.
"We have to get to the elevator." Bob says.
"There's no way! There's too much steam!" Peter says before Alexis grab's Peter's hook launcher and fires it at a pipe.
"Nice thinking Alexis. Now pull." Bob says as the group begins to pull themselves towards the elevator.
"Ah!" Alexis says as she hisses in pain feeling hot steam hit her arm.
"Are you okay?" Peter asks as he and Bob stop pulling and look at Alexis.
"Yes just keep pulling!" Alexis says as the group continues pulling themselves closer to the elevator before quickly climbing into the elevator as they attempt to make it go up but find the lever isn't working.
"Hold on guys. I'm gonna get you out." Jupiter says as the elevator then goes up before the group quickly makes a run for it to get outside. Once outside and near the gate the group see Caroline.
"Bob!" Caroline says as she begins to walk towards the group.
"Caroline get down!" Bob shouts as he tackles her down and covers Caroline as the others go down as well before the house explodes behind them. The group then looks to see Caroline's father the sheriff looking down at them angrily.
"Get off my daughter. What have you boys and young lady done? You've destroyed Terror Castle. That's it you're under arrest and that wolf dog of yours will be put down." The sheriff says as the group stands up.
"No!" Caroline says as she goes over to her father.
"Well in that case you'll have to explain how you stole a dancer's head and two diamonds from Terror Castle." Jupiter says as the sheriff looks at him.
"Daddy is that true?" Caroline asks as the sheriff pulls her aside.
"Peaches I don't make enough money. I just wanted enough for your college money. Those diamonds didn't belong to anybody." The sheriff says.
"The diamonds are gone now. There's no evidence of any crime so I'd say that we're even." Jupiter says as he puts his hand out for the sheriff to shake.
"Even." The sheriff says as he shakes hands with Jupiter.
"Diamonds. Millions of them. All buried under a pile of dirt and I didn't think to grab a single one." Peter says as he looks back at the destroyed house.
"At least your curse is gone." Bob says as he goes over to Peter.
"I'd rather have the diamonds." Peter says as Alexis looks at him.
"I'm just glad we're all in one piece." Alexis says.
"And I totally failed. The man that my parents were pursuing has got the diamond making machine. The same man who is our old french nemesis." Jupiter says as he goes over to the others.
"Victor Hugenay!?" Alexis, Bob, and Peter ask in union as they look at each other.
"Yeah. He's the man who killed my parents. But he won't get away from me again." Jupiter says sourly.
"But Jupiter I still don't get it. Why did you let him get away?" Peter asks.
"Because some things are more important than solving a case. Like your friends and your girlfriend." Jupiter says as Alexis smiles.
"Caroline told me who's son you are. I should of known. Your parents left something for you." The sheriff says as he gives Jupiter a tape.
