Marinette rushed to her bedroom after dinner and immediately called on Tikki to transform. There was no harm in revealing her identity. It was inevitable. This was just sooner than later.
Ladybug grinned as she swung her yoyo out. She wondered how he would take the news, assuming he was right, that is, but she was sure she was right.
She landed on a beam on the Eiffel Tower, and pulled out her yoyo. She scrolled through her bug phone until she found his contact and texted him a message.
[Me] Come quick. I have a surprise.
He was quick to reply.
[Silly Kitty] On my way.
She grinned for the hundredth time that evening. She couldn't help it. She was extremely excited. She heard the soft thud of his boots behind her.
She turned and immediately said "I'm ready."
Chat Noir was bewildered. "What?"
"I'm ready to show you who I am." She pulled out two cards and a pen. "Here. Write your name on this and we'll switch cards on three.
They quickly scribbled down their names.
"Okay, one."
"Two."
"Three."
