Chapter 22:

Hula

The Group Of Five Heroes have managed to make their to The Great Red Barn without being spotted. Now all they have to do is find a way to get to The Grand Duke. sneaking up to the edge of The Great Red Barn, The Group Of Five Heroes peeked out from behind a log to see and observe hordes of Stray FelineGriffs and CanineGriffs blocking the path. The Group Of Five Heroes must figure out a way to get past them. " Strays. I hate Strays," said Bucky, then he whispered to David and asked " So what's your plan for getting past those guys?". " Live bait," whispered David to Bucky, " Good Idea," whispered Bucky, but he then quickly realized who's going to be the bait. " Heeey," said Bucky to David, " Come on, Dad. You guys have to create a diversion," said David, " What you want me and your mother to do? Dress in drags and do the hula?...," said Bucky being incredulous…

Two Minutes Later…

The Strays then heard a whistle and looked over to see Bucky and Bess dressed in hula outfits and Mort was set up like a roast chicken, with an apple in his mouth. The music sung is the Hawaiian War Chant much like the Spike Jones arrangement. Then Bucky and Bess begin to sing…

Bucky: Luau!

If you're hungry for a hunk of fat and juicy meat.

Bess: Eat our buddy Mort here because he is the treat.

Bucky: Come on down and dine.

Bess: On this tasty DasyGriffine.

Bucky: All you gotta do is get in line.

While the Strays are hungrily drawn to The Three Friends, David and Summer start sneaking past them and towards The Great Red Barn.

Bucky: Are ya achin'?

Mort: Yup, yup, yup.

Bess: For some Chicken?

Mort: Yup, yup, yup.

Bucky: He's a big DasyGriff.

Mort: Yup, yup, yup.

Bucky and Bess: You can be a Big DasyGriff too.

Oi!

The Three Friends screamed and ran off to lead some of The Strays away.
