Well here is the first of the weddings. I have now figured this out so after this chapter there will be 3 chapters left. I really hope you all have enjoyed this story and continue to enjoy it. It was finally the day of Caroline and Nik's wedding and Rebekah has us all up early. All the girls stayed at mine and Elijah's house last night and the guys at the Mikaelson house. The wedding was at the Mikaelson house and all was set up and ready for today. The guys would get ready there making sure everything was right and us girls were getting ready here.
We were getting our hair and make up done first. Caroline's hair was done in an updo with little wisps hanging down that had a little curl in it. The rest of us had our hair down and lose curls in it.
"So, Caroline we have your something new, old, borrowed and blue." Rebekah said once we all had hair and make up done. We had not told Caroline what we were getting her. Both Rebekah and I were letting the others pick for us as well.
"So, for your something blue we got you this garter to wear. Something new is your vail, something borrowed is this family bracelet from Ester, and for your something old your mom has." I told her as put on the garter and the bracelet. Liz walked up to her.
"I always know this day would come maybe not so soon and not as much lately but I am so happy for you. You make a beautiful bride and you are going to be so happy in life, make such a wonderful wife. I am so proud of the amazing beautiful young lady you have become. I brought your something old, your great grandmothers wedding necklace, each generation of women have worn for their wedding since her. Now I pass it down to you for your beautiful wedding day."
"Mom thank you I love it, and I love you as well. I am so glad I get to have you with me here after all that has happened. I didn't know if we would ever get this."
"It's your day sweetie and I'm so happy for you. I love you; you will always be my little girl no matter what." They hugged and she helped her put it on. The rest of us girls had our dresses on. Bonnie was the maid of honor and was wearing a long red dress that had gathering at the top and was one strap with a sheer piece that hung from the back of the strap. The rest of us Rebekah, Lilly and I were bridesmaids and were wearing long red dresses as well the top had gathering and one strap.
"Time to get you in your dress now." I told her and Bonnie and I held the dress for Caroline as she stepped in, we then helped pull it up and I helped to do it up. She looked amazing her dress was a strapless and had a light lace that covered it with a slight gathering look at the waist. Her vail went down to her waist and beautiful embroidery along the bottom of it, she looked stunning.
"Caroline you look so Beautiful." I told her with a smile.
"Thank you, Bella, you know this wedding would not be happening if it were not for you. I'm so glad you helped me to see all I was missing."
"Well I am so happy for both you and Nik I know that you two are going to be so very happy together."
We all had finishing touches done and then made our way out to the car to go over to the house to be ready for the wedding. We had got a limbo for today so they all climbed in then Caroline then myself, so I was able to get out first. We talked and laughed on the way over enjoying the treats in the limbo. Once at the house I turned to the others.
"Stay here I will make sure we are good to go." I climbed out and walked into the house where there was hustle and bustle all around putting finishing touches on everything. I spotted Elijah talking to Stefan and walked over to them.
"You look lovely my darling."
"Thank you, you don't look to bad yourself, you as well brother. Although where in Nik at?"
"He's outside making sure things go to Caroline's plan."
"Good I need you to keep him out there for a few minutes so we can get Caroline up to Rebekah's room."
"We are on it, see you soon."
"Of course, once I have her all set upstairs, I will be back down." I tell them and then walk back out and open the door.
"Cost is clear, but we need to move fast." I helped Caroline climb out and the others. I walked up to the door first opened it and looked around. Not seeing anyone I quickly led Caroline and the others up to Rebekah's room and we shut the door.
"Alright I am going to check on everything. If you need anything, I do have my phone or vamp hearing either way. Caroline stay in here until it is time. If you need anything one of us can get it. Do not let anyone in here unless it is one of us. Are we all good?"
They all said yes, and I was off downstairs making sure all was going as planned. I walked outside and was amazed at how beautiful it all looked. I looked at the alter and it was so perfect. There was a white fabric that made the aisle with beautiful wood chairs on both sides, the alter had white drapes that were tied back on both sides with a beautiful chandler hanging from the middle with flowers all over the frame. Then two small columns on both sides with flowers on top of them. It was absolutely so beautiful.
"You look lovely Bella"
"If you think I look lovely wait until you see your bride."
"I can't wait."
"Are you nervous?"
"I have waited forever for this moment."
"Everything looks so beautiful and amazing Caroline is going to love it."
"Are you all ready?" Elijah asked me.
"We are all ready." The guess were starting to show up and starting to be seated.
"Well I guess we will see you in a few then."
"See you soon." Elijah gave me a kiss and then we all went our own ways to make sure things were all done and ready. I walked over and around everything making sure it was all done right.
Then I went back up to the other girls, so we were ready.
The next half hour passed quickly, and it was time to get into place we all went downstairs and got in line, Lilly, Rebekah, myself and then Bonnie. Caroline was standing in back with her mom who was waking her down the aisle. Each of us girls held our bouquets we had small ones that were made of white roses and Caroline's was red roses with diamonds mix in throughout it. Slowly one by one us girls started down the aisle then once we were all in place everyone stood and slowly Caroline and her mother started down the aisle. I looked to Nik who I had never seen look so happy before, Caroline looking just as happy and I was happy they had made it work before them.
They made it to the end of the aisle and Liz placed Caroline's hand in Nik's after hugging her once again. It was a beautiful moment.
The ceremony started and then after a little we got to the vows.
"Caroline when I first met you, I was a different person. I was not close to my family and my world was an endless night. Then you came in and became the sun in my darkness. You have showed me a world I never knew I was missing, and I am so happy you were willing to give me a chance and let me show you the world. I am more in love with you as the days go by and I cannot wait to spend the rest of our lives together and all the things we get to do together. I vow to love you more everyday of our lives together. To always be there for you and to be by your side all the days of our lives. To the end of time always and forever I will love you."
"Nik when I first met you, I never thought we would be together. Though over time I saw a side of you that was loving and kind, the way you make me smile and laugh. How you are always there when I need you even if I did not see it at first you were there. I have fallen more in love with you everyday we have been together. I cannot wait to see what else life brings our way and I know that if we are together that we can take on anything that comes our way. I vow to love you and support you, to always be there and to help you when you are in need. I cannot wait for our adventures and all the things we are going to do. I promise to love you until the end of our lives and long after. I will always love you." The officiant then said a few more things.
"Do you Klaus take Caroline to be your lawfully wedded wife to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health until death do you part."
"I do."
"Do you Caroline take Klaus to be your lawfully wedded husband to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health until death do you part."
"I do" they had chosen silver bands, hers had diamonds and his had a little design as well.
"With the power vested in my I now pronounce you husband and wife you may now kiss your bride." Nik and Caroline kissed, and he dipped her.
"May I introduce for the first time Mr. and Mrs. Niklaus Mikaelson." We all clapped as they walked back down the aisle together and the rest of the wedding party followed them. Nik and Caroline walked into the house and the rest of us made our way to the reception area with the guest. The area looked amazing. They had a tent looking thing set up there was white fabric draped along the ceiling then greenery and white flowers hanging down as well. There were a couple of chandlers hanging up around for light then wood tables and chairs with flowers decorating them. In the middle front was a dance floor. It had turned out so beautiful and I knew Caroline was going to love how beautiful it had turned out. Things were going well, and people were finding their seats and Elijah pulled my chair out for me.
"You really do look amazing today."
"Thank you, Elijah."
"I can't wait for our wedding."
"Well we are almost there, not too much longer now." Then the DJ talked.
"Lets all welcome the bride and groom Mr. and Mrs. Mikaelson." We all cheered as they came in and then took their seats. Dinner was then served as we were talking and laughing with one another. Before we knew it, it was time for speeches. Bonnie went first as maid of honor.
"I have known Caroline almost all of our lives, we have been friends and went through all kinds of adventures life has thrown at us. When Klaus came into the picture, I was not sure about you two. Just because I needed to make sure that my best friend found the perfect guy for her. You did Caroline I have never seen you so happy or in love. You found a guy who treats you like a queen and loves everything about you. I am so happy for you both and I know you will have a beautiful life together. Klaus you have an amazing lady by your side and all I ask is you take care of her she is one of a kind. Here's to the happy couple may you love every minute of your lives together." Everyone cheered and then Elijah stood up to give his best man's speech.
"Niklaus is my little brother, we have always had a different relationship then our other siblings. Growing up we were close, he was always trying to keep up with Finn and myself, but I have always loved my little brother. When we moved here Niklaus had lost that spark in his eyes he had when he was younger, and I did not think it would come back. Then Caroline came into his life and changed that. I have not seen my brother this happy in so long. I knew that Caroline was perfect for him when I saw that she was just as set in her ways as he was. Watching you two fall in love has been such a lesson to us all that love is not something you plan but something beautiful and unexpected. I wish you both a lifetime of love and adventure. To the happy couple." Everyone raised their glasses and we all cheered the happy couple.
After speeches we all danced and were having a good time. When it was time for the cake cutting, we all watched. The cake was a 4 tier 2 were plane white while 2 had a lace look to it. There were pearls around each layer, there was flowers on top and then an 'M' on it. It was a beautiful cake and it was fun to watch them shove cake into each other's faces. Then we had the bouquet toss which I got, and they all thought it was so funny. When the garter was tossed Elijah caught it which I had a filling Nik and Caroline had planned this.
Before long we lined the walkway and has a sparkler send off. Once they were gone quest started to leave. We had people cleaning up so we would not need to worry about that. Over the next few weeks, we would be getting things ready for mine and Elijah's wedding and moving.
"Now that we have there wedding over ours is the last thing that we do here before we move."
"I know, it has all come so fast, but I really can't wait for our wedding and moving."
"I love you Bella."
"I love you Elijah." Elijah kissed me and we went home.
