A month after coming home;
"What did you do?" Yugi shouts when we are undressing and getting ready for bed.
"I uhm went this morning to some kind of a beauty spa for men, because I was curious about how it was to be uh… hairless down there. That is something I won't do again, they waxed everything off, my legs, under my arms, and down there! It hurted like hell!"
When I tell yugi this with a red face he starts laughing, he laughs so hard he can't stop, tears fall down his cheeks, and he isn't capable of standing.
When he finally pulled himself together he says, "Atem, please never do that again, I love your body hair, it makes you more uhm, how should I put this?... Manly, more you."
"What are you suggesting there sweetie? That I look like a woman? Because I'm still have my member down there!"
And there is that devilish look off him again, he only says, "Leave being a woman to me will ya." Yeah, we discoverd Yugi realy is the woman in the ralation since he is out the closet, and he isn't afraid of showing it anymore.
"You little!" I shout and transform into Neko, yup Yugi also teached me how to do it, if we had nothing to do in the hospital he trained me. It was a funny thing, he told me my face turned so red he was afraid I would poop my pants.
It seems I'm a black tiger, and my stripes are crimson red, like Yugi's a cool effect.
Yugi quickly grabs his sweatpants and runs out while also transforming.
"Ah a game of hide and seek, very well sweet little kitty, I'm comming to get you!" I shout.
Yeah nights like these the servants don't look up to anymore, like cats we also have the five minutes craziness, although we call it an hour of craziness. However when we are in the castle we shance in cats, much safer and easyer with clothes and fort he people working here.
I run after Yugi and see some of the servants blocking their eyes, one of them blocks my path and says, my prince, would you please cover yourself? I look to my body feel my face turning red and quickly run back to the room to pull on a sweatpants.
"There now the game can truly start." and I start my hunt.
He truly did find a good hiding space this time, I'm starting to get worried, I suddenly have a feeling of sadness I can't explain.
"Atem!" I hear Mana behind me, I turn and she looks worried.
"What is it?" I say and turn back only my part Neko visible.
"Yugi, he is in the library and crying."
Hmm he does that a lot lately. "I'll go and talk to him."
I find Yugi, he sits under the family picture from us, it was a carefree day and we are playing in the river Nile, dad took that day off to come with us, boy we had fun, I smile at the memory, and then remember Yugi.
"Hey sweetie, what's wrong?"
"I miss mama." He sobs.
"But sweetie, mom is here…. Oh." I say if I understands he misses his mom. "Oh sweetie, I know, but why show it now?"
"Because I'm getting baptised the day after tomorrow and she isn't there like a mother should do!"
"I'm sorry sweetie, come here." I say and pick him in my lap, he cries until he falls asleep. I take him to bed and tug him in. Next I walk to the hall and dialect a number I saved the day I met his family.
Phone call:
"Keiko Muto speaking, how can I help you?"
"This is Atem."
"Atem, how are you doing? And how's Yugi?"
"We are fine in a way."
"And your recovery?"
"Almost fully recovered but sometimes a bit tired, and like Yugi also a cat Neko now."
"How?"
"I needed a blood transplant and Yugi's blood matched mine, his neko gen I inherit now."
"Okay, and Yugi?"
"He is fine, but I need to know something."
"What's that?"
"Was his mother always like this?"
"No, he made her like this, and she misses him."
"Yugi also, I want to ask if she can come over but need to be sure 'he'isn't around."
"He isn't anymore, the Monday after the fight she stood at my door, carrying all her belongings."
"Is she around?"
"I go call her."
"Akiko! Phone call for you!" I hear Yugi's aunt shout.
"Akiko speaking?"
"Are you truly away from him?"
"Yes, but who are you?"
"Why did you do it?"
"He forced me, but not anymore, I divorced the bastard."
"Can you come to the airport in 12 hours?"
"Only if you tell me who you are."
"I'm the one who is going to marry your son in a month, he is getting baptised in two days, and misses you, you are aloud to bring as many family members with you, I make sure a plane is there to pick you up."
"Atem? How do I know which plane?"
"Tell the people there you need the Sennen plane, I send you a ticket with the seal nesseseary to get in, remember this is a surprise for him."
"Okay, thank you."
We talk a bit about some things and then we hang up.
Phone call ends:
I walk to the servant who is in charge of the airplains. "Can you send a plane to the Netherlands? And pick up maybe 10 or more people, I asked them to be there in 12 hours."
"Yes sir, what do we write on the sign?"
"Muto, they have the seal, ow, and Yugi hears nothing!"
"Yes sir!"
I walk to the bedroom and crawl next to Yugi, tomorrow around noon they will be there.
Yugi is still asleep, I stand and go to the dining room, the servant comes towards me, "Good morning sir, I can tell you the family will arrive around 11."
"Thank you, continue." He bows and walks off. Boobie walks in and runs towards me tail up and he is carrying something, "Hey boy, what do you have there? Good boy, did you help the chefs good with catching that mouse?" I praise him.
Both cats found themselfs a job over here, Kruimeltje act's like a adoptive mom for kittens and gives them warmth, teaches them to be a cat, sadly not feeding them because she is neutered.
Boobie found himself a job in the kitchen as mouse catcher, and the chefs love him, the fact he leaves the mouse dead behind, yeah that they accept from him, because since he is around, the mouse come not so quickly. And believe me, they took the jobs themself, and the servants let them be.
I play a bit with the cat if I hear people in the hall. I walk out and see the family of Yugi. "Oh there's Atem." I hear Nicky shout and before I noticed it she hungs around my neck. "Wow Atem, no wonder Yugi likes you, you have nice muscles!" She says while feeling my abs.
"Yeah well, I needed the training to get stronger again, and when I was out the hospital I went to the gym." I say and squirm myself out her tickle assuld.
I ask the servants to give everybody a room, and before they can walk off. "Akiko! I want a word with you first." I walk in front of her and take her towards my and Yugi's study room.
"Please sit" I say. She goes sit on the stool I'm offering her, and I take my stool.
"Akiko as you can see I'm a prince, and Yugi is becoming one, if I figure out you lie to me in what kind of a way I will seize you!"
"I understand."
"Who's name is he carrying?"
"Mine, his father wanted nothing to do with a Neko."
"Well he decided himself he becomes Sennen, so from your side the bloodline Muto will stop."
"That's okay by me, as long as he is happy, then I'm happy."
I look closely at her, she looks different, free in spirit, free of having her own mind. "He misses you, he missed you from the day you did meet me the first time."
"Atem? I want to thank you for what you did when I didn't take care of him, I also wanted to ask you if you are okay when I'm staying here?"
"You are willing to give up your life there?"
"Yes, now I live from my sister, I need a new start, and I hope I can get one when I have my son around."
"I will discussed this with my father, and if he agrees you get a job here as a servant, what kind of a job do you think you like?"
"Uhm I like cooking."
"Then I look if you can get a job in the kitchen."
"Thank you."
"And he saved my life last year, I needed a blood transfusion and his blood was given to me, because of that I now also have the Neko gen, and the both of us have the crazy idea of running trough the castle at night as Neko."
"You can change without sneezing?"
"So does Yugi, we both are tigers, he is a white tiger I'm a black one, and both we have house breed in our blood." A knock sounds, "who is it?" I call.
"It's me Mana, and a special Neko someone misses you."
I smile. "Let him in Mana, I'm ready."
Mana opens the door, and my Neko kitty walks in, he has his ears and tail out. his dangerous low sweatpants hugging his torso.
Flash back:
Since we are out the hospital, Yugi changed, he has more muscles and he has a mokka coloured skin now, the only thing in his true skin colour is under his boxers.
Yugi also turned more confident, the both of us like running around in our sweatpants, and the both of us have a dangerous one, it hangs low on our hips, a little to low, but we don't care.
Last week when we were discussing his second name with father he got mad, I never told him why I have Yami as middle name, he yelled towards father what a sick man called his own son darkness.
Father was completely stunned, and so was I.
Yugi ran out and Mana went after him, I explained father the meaning of my middle name in Japanese, and he started laughing after that.
"Atem, sometimes you do have a dark personality, but it was your mothers brother who had that name 23 years long before he became your godfather. But I can see he is definitely the yang in your relationship."
I get an idea in my head. "Father, if I'm yin, and he is yang, and if I'm dark, and he is light, then why not the middle name Hikari for him?"
"Hmmm, Atem that's a amazing idea."
Meanwhile Yugi and Mana walk in again, I see the dried tears sting on his cheeks.
My father speaks up, "Come here son, I'm not mad at you, I'm glad you did speak up."
"I'm sorry sir, I didn't know why you called him that, Mana explained it to me."
"Atem told me the meaning behind that name, and that was something I didn't know also son, now come here."
"Yugi walks toward my father, and he grabs Yugi and pulls him in a hug."
"I'm proud at you Yugi, you changed my son in a amazing way, so this mistake I can forgive you."
"Father! And the other thing!" I say sternly, I know he didn't forgive yugi for his cat action last year while he knew Yugi was in distress and I didn't handle when I should.
"Also forgiven son, I'm truly sorry for what I did to you." father says and presses a kiss on his forehead and pulls Yugi on his lap, and hugs him.
I know Yugi is truly forgiven now.
Flash back ends:
In his dangerous low sweatpants yugi walks over and crawls in my lap, he lays his head in the crook of my neck and let's out a shivering breath, I feel a tear slips his eyes, he is not feeling well. I find him crying alot lately, and I'm glad we talked yesterday about it, I hope this works.
"Hey sweetie, I have a little surprise for you." I softly say. He looks up to me, and I point my face towards his mama. He turns and sees her, next he turns to me.
"She is here for you sweetie, do you want to be alone with her?" He shakes his head in a no.
"Okay, but you must talk to her sweetie." He turns to his mom again and presses himself against my body. I cant help it but scrath his ear, a soft purr escapes his mouth.
"Hey honey, you look amazing." She tries talking to him, but he keeps silent, and somehow I know why. He does give her the same treatment I gave him when…… you know, our uh maye an hour break?
"Maybe if you apologise he speaks." I say.
She looked at me with a shocked expression, and then she says, "You are right." She drops herself of the stool and goes on her knees.
"Yugi, my son, my sweet little boy, I made the biggest mistake to stay with your father, maybe I hoped he would accept you soon, but sadly he didn't, I'm truly sorry for not leaving him sooner, please forgive me!" She begs.
Yugi looks at me, I can tell he doesn't know what to do.
"Remember what you saw yesterday in the throneroom sweetie, act like Mana did."
Sometimes Mana or I take the throne for the simple cases, specially when dad and Seth have a heavy trial. Because I'm not fully recovered yet, I still have off days as I call them, I'm not aloud but as you probably know, I don't always listen to the rules, and take sometimes the throne.
Mana and I even let Yugi take the throne sometimes, but that is when kids don't know how to behave, and with our help we guide him. It gives him confidence that we trust him by doing so.
He nods, takes a deep breath and says is a stern and clear voice, "Rise!"
His mam stands and looks proud but also a bit worried.
"What you did was indeed stupid, and your explanation makes sense now, Atem clearly forgave you for what you did, and if he can as your future son in law!" He takes another deep breath and says then in a soft voice, "Then so can I."
"Thank you Yugi."
"Mam? From who do I have the Neko gen?" he ask and tell you the truth? I'm curious to.
"Me honey, but I can't transform, grandpa Muto could, so probably it skips a generation."
He tears up, opens his mouth and shouts. "Mama!" while running towards her and swing his arms around her neck.
"My sweet little boy, I missed you so much."
"I missed you to mama."
I feel I'm to much now so I say towards Akiko, "In an hour the dresser comes to finish his clothes for tomorrow, I leave you two talk for now."
I walk out and go towards the throneroom where dad is.
"Ah Atem? How can I help you my son?"
"Well…….." I start.
