Olórin took his time looking me up and down before taking my hand and returning my greeting. "Well met Alexander, I was sent as an emissary of the Valar to discuss your plans here on Arda."

"My plans are simple Olórin, for the most part I plan on staying here on Nomanisan Island." I almost laughed at Olórin's expression. "That's the name of my Island that my new kingdom sits upon."

"An apt name, I like it. The Valar would appreciate it if you were to stay here and leave the mortal races in Arda to make their own way." I nod my head, I had been expecting this when he showed up early. Normally Olórin wouldn't have been sent to Arda until after the rings were forged.

"I was hoping to Journey across Arda to gather teachers, but if that is what that Valar want then we will remain here." A subtle tension seemed to leave Olórin and he smiled. "You are welcome to stay here if you like, or return here whenever it pleases you Olórin. It would be an honour to spend time in your company."

"I may take you up on that at some point Alexander. My duty at the moment is to return to Valinor and the Valar. I will mention you were looking for a teacher, they may change their minds or send you teachers."

"Until we meet again then Olórin, I wish you well." With that he disappeared in a flash of light, leaving me relieved. I trusted the Valar and Olórin a great deal so I had no doubt they would keep their word, and I wouldn't push them since staying here would make it harder for the Noldor to find me and take advantage of my naivete.

***MANSION WORKSHOP***

The workshop had changed dramatically in accordance with my will and desire, not only was there a massive exit there was more than enough space in the centre for the main project I would be working on. I had played around with making things that acted like spaceships, now I would be building my own.

My previous projects were more like oddly shaped magical devices than a means of travel, little technology mostly a way to cast and enhance spellwork. I was now going to combine technology more into the design, while leaving room to easily retrofit instead of rebuilding.

With Alastair, Athena and a shadow clone working together to first improve our computer systems things went quick. Using a combination of illusion spells and the bound spells I learned in Nirn gave me a decent hard light system that made designing and creating easier, faster and more flexible.

While they were designing the duplicate was exploring the new installed forge and storage area attached to the workshop. The forge was built to my height, but everything reflected their Dwarven heritage. The storage area was large and held raw ore could be found throughout my travels.

I mentally gave thanks to Jumper-Chan and felt amusement in response, I can honestly say I was drooling just by casually looking around. I would begin by melting down all the Septim I had from Nirn and turn them into bricks of varying sizes. Afterwards I would store them in an expanded trunk in the warehouse.

As I began my task I made a large batch of shadow clones to work within the workshop, to my right I noticed snack food appear beside me. "Thank you guys."

Everyone there would ignore the pull of their magic far too engrossed to pay attention.

***PHOENIX TREE GROVE***

Fleur, Luna and I had sent sets of shadow clones to explore the village, the surrounding area and the animal sanctuaries we had. While they were made to be self sufficient without much oversight we all wanted to spend time with the various magical animals.

One thing we realized was that the Island contained so much magic by this point and now so many people a race of house elves were beginning to manifest themselves. I could actually feel the Island and the potential new race query me for permission, I instantly agreed without hesitation.

I didn't want to consider what the ramifications of declining were, house elves were a sentient sapient race regardless of their origins. Would I be guilty of genecide if I turned them away? In any case I could feel life begin to mould itself from the natural magic produced by Nomanisan Island.

It was slow at first and it felt as though the magic of the Island was learning as it was doing, I poked and prodded a little with my abilities. My house elves would be natural shape-changers, incorruptible with a much longer lifespan and their own magic to replace the bond. I could feel the natural magic of the Island grow excited as we worked together crafting this new race.

It was definitely a heady feeling, creation at this level even as only a helping hand. Magic itself was responsible and the tune of it was captivating, the Hobbits were gathering as the phoenixes began a hauntingly beautiful song that could be heard all over the Island.

Even though the song of new creation was contained to Nomanisan Island it echoed through Arda in a manner of speaking. The incredible chorus of Phoenix song strengthened good and made evil recoil in terror. The song lasted for a day, but it echoed for years in Arda.

The event was quickly lost in the time as nobody wrote or talked about it, but that small event would be felt forever. The proverbial butterfly that causes hurricanes.

The gathering quickly grew to become a celebration feast, a feast that spread through the new village with a community that felt old. Not the people but it felt like the village was both new and yet had always existed. Bob and Min were enjoying themselves, new house elves were appearing for them to lead and a massive feast.

From the beginning I could feel the eyes of the Valar on me, I knew it was their prompting that began this. A test for me that I hoped I had passed, the moment their watchful gaze withdrew I was sure of it. The feast that began around Telperion and Laurelin never truly ended, it only grew smaller a few days after it started.

There was always music being played there, food and drink available. No matter the time of day or season there would be some number of Hobbits there. Every year on this day, every year the feast would grow out of the Phoenix Tree Grove. The house elves would never forget the day they were born, and the Hobbits would never forget the day they witnessed it.

***OUTSIDE OF VILLAGE***

Because of their nature the kingdom of Hobbits in the centre of the hidden vale looked and seemed more like a village. The built and lived with nature to a massive extent, building into the landscape and changing it as little as possible. Signs of them could be seen and heard all around where they lived, but nature remained prevalent no matter where Hobbits lived.

Duplicates and clones of Alexander, Fleur and Luna were all over the place outside of the village. If any of the Hobbits were watching they would have been witness to the bizarre sight of hundreds of almost constantly shifting beings. Also unseen was the arrival of multiple species of Dragons, soon joined by a variety of other flying animals.

Very few species were too violent to be allowed to roam the Island without supervision, everything on the Island was drawn to the vale surrounding the new kingdom. For now though only those that could fly could fulfill that desire, over time building would be moved so that eventually every animal could roam the vale.

More than one Luna was drawn to the various magical animals, changing herself to match them as she approached. Various copies of Alexander and Fleur joined her, thinking it a good way to practice different forms.

Eventually the shadow clones started dismissing themselves, slowly so they didn't overwhelm the duplicates. Others began meditating with a few of the clones choosing to stay in their chosen forms and spend more time in flight. One set of clones turned into phoenixes to join the others in the Phoenix Tree Grove.

***NICOLAS' WORKSHOP***

One of the duplicates had taken over Nicolas' workshop since it was available, his was geared towards Alchemy, enchanting and potions more than anything else. Within the workshop groups of shadow clones were inspecting the items used by Voldemort as horcruxes, they had been forgotten in the haste to leave.

Other clones were working on making new potions, between the new magical animals and plants from Nirn and the magical world there was a lot of potential. Plants and animals were being collected around Arda to create the same sort of sanctuary they had made in Nirn, the teams working quicker to avoid influencing or changing anything as much as they could.

The HTC would be used to speed up the process to streamline it, once stable populations were available research would begin. First creating potions solely from materials from Arda, and then modifying those potions with materials from Nirn and the magical world.

A third group was continuing experimenting and improving the method of enchanting from Nirn, I had the feeling there wasn't much difference between enchanting here and Nirn. The difference, I thought, was the source of energy used in enchanting.

Since I had been specifically told to leave the mortal races alone I was planning on getting in contact with the Elves. While there I would be spreading 'Young and Full of Flame' to everyone I came into contact with, in fact every immortal race would be getting it.

It was unfortunate that I had come to this world too late to stop Mairon's downfall, but I had the feeling that it had been done on purpose. Even still, at least I could help the Elves and slow if not stop their descent into depression.

***ISLAND BELOW***

Swarms of clones were all over the farmland, waves of them assigned to make an assembly line. The first wave would plant the crops, the second would water and a third feed them and. Once the first three waves were clear clones would fly over and spread a potion that would instantly grow the crops.

The next waves would harvest and collect all of the crops into specially made containers. Once this was finished three times a final wave of clones spread specially treated loam and magically turned the earth. Fruit trees and vines were taken care of and harvested, everything collected would be taken to be stored for the kingdom.

It was at this point that some of the clones noticed the magical animals flying towards the centre of the Island. Clones began noticing that the magic of the Island seemed to be calling them to the centre, clones exchanged glances before grabbing a container and apparated back to the vale.

The only clones left were the one taking care of the animal sanctuaries, making rounds to check on everything. Everything from health to wards were being checked, with anything useful being gathered and collected.

With a large population of Hobbits that would soon gain the ability to cast magic wand lessly there were many supplies would be needed to teach them. They were preparing to operate a school and supply a kingdom with potions to keep them in good health.

***BREWERY***

The final duplicate was tasked with the most important job of any of them, making sure there was enough alcohol for the kingdom. Unlike the brewery in the farm village below this one had been created to take advantage of magic.

Different types of beer were already being made by shadow clones, vats of beer lined the wall. Everything from ales to different meads were on being prepared. With magic being used to quicken the brew time, while retaining the quality.

The duplicate was beginning to experiment with different recipes, different ingredients from different worlds being introduced into the process. Something as simple as honey became complex when you consider not only the massive variety of flowers but also the different bees themselves.

A seemingly simple task for a master potioneer with a few hundred years of experience, and yet it was difficult enough that the project would last for years. Once you begin adding hybrids of plants from different worlds it becomes the sort of task that would be ongoing.

On top of that there are many more types of alcohol than just beer, all in all it was a challenge that had applications far further than just creating new drinks. It would spawn new ideas that would impact enchanting, farming, potion making and even spell creation.

NOTES

My original estimate was way off, after spending more time talking and researching the timeline of Middle Earth I found out it will be closer to four thousand years.

I'm taking a bit of time to come up with a design for the ship my SI is building. It's going to be more along the lines of an all purpose ship I think, something that will be able to do a little of everything.

Anyways, thanks for reading.
