He stepped out of the gate and took a deep breath. Freedom at last. He waited for his ride to pick him up. A red mustang pulled up and he got in.
"Well how's freedom feel?"
"Sweet."
They drove off and he took him to a motel.
"This is the best I could do."
"Works for me. I'm used to a cell."
"So what's your plan?"
"Think Torretto will give me a job?" He joked.
"Yeah he'll make you part owner."
"Is he still racing?"
"No not since your brother took Josie."
"I gotta find a job before I do anything. I only get so much from the state for so long."
"I'll talk to Ethan and he will hire you."
"Awesome. Then after I get a job and work some things out I'll get my revenge."
"It won't be hard. They have their guard down now."
"Good."
"Dom has really changed since everything happened. Now that it's over, or he thinks it is, he won't see it coming."
"I may want him to see it coming. Have him looking over his shoulder. Is his wife and child gonna be okay today , tomorrow, next week. It would really screw with his head."
"Your evil."
"You ain't seen nothing yet." Toby smiled looking at the picture he had of Josie when he and her were together. "My brother may have got a taste of her but he obviously had trouble getting rid of her too. This time I won't. Did you write Letty?"
"Yeah she knows what's going on. She still has some time to do, but she was pissed Josie was expecting. So if you don't kill her or Dom I think Letty will."
"Nah. She's too chicken and she loves Dom too much to mess with him. She'd go after Josie though I think if given the chance."
"Well you guys figure it out. Let me know if you need anything."
"Thanks Randy. Appreciate it."
Randy left and Toby laid on the bed staring at the picture. "Wait till you have that baby and I get ahold of you. The things I have planned for you."

It had been 2 months since Mia had Elliott. He was such a good baby. Brian was over the moon and a very hands on dad which surprised everyone. Josie babysat while Mia went back to work and she was getting nervous about her due date. They had tried several times to see what she was having but the baby wouldn't cooperate. She had another ultrasound appointment tomorrow at 2 and she was crossing her fingers for the baby to at least cooperate a little. She put a hand on her belly as the baby kicked. It seemed the baby thought her bladder was a soccer ball.
"Josie?"
Josie came out of the bedroom and smiled at Mia. "I just laid him down."
"It's okay you know how he sleeps through anything. He's like Brian. Bombs can go off and not wake him."
"Yeah Dom hears everything I think."
"He's used to being on alert. Sometimes though he can sleep through an explosion."
"True."
Mia carefully picked Elliott up and got him ready to go. Josie grabbed his bottles and stuck them in the diaper bag.
"Thanks Josie. I'm off the next few days. I wanna know tomorrow what you're having."
"You'll probably be the first one we call besides Brian." Josie watched them get in the car and go. She felt her baby kick again and smiled. She went inside and did some stuff around the house before she started dinner.
Dom got home and kissed Josie on the cheek then he washed up for dinner. Josie sat at the table and put chicken, mashed potatoes and green beans on Dom's plate.
"Babe I could've done that."
"I got it." She made her own plate and they sat down.
"So how was your day?"
"Well your son or daughter thinks my organs are set for target practice."
Dom laughed. "How come it's my son or daughter when it does something bad?"
"Because I said."
Dom laughed again and they ate. Dom cleaned up after Josie took a shower and then they spent the evening watching tv before Dom got a shower and they went to bed.

Toby helped Ethan with a car that just came in with a gas tank leak. Ethan's garage wasn't busy or fast paced but it paid the bills and kept his parole officer happy.
Toby was biding his time and doing a good job at it. He kept up with Josie and Dom through Randy and was getting ready to start moving forward.

Josie and Dom walked into the room with the tech and Josie laid on the bed. The tech put a towel down between Josie's pants and stomach then applied some gel.
"Think this little guy or girl will cooperate with us today?" The tech asked with a smile.
"If not then he or she is stubborn like their father."
Dom held her hand and the tech started looking around.
"Well we got some clear pictures coming up."
Josie watched, still amazed this little person was growing inside of her.
"Ha! We got a clear view."
"What is it?" Dom asked. He was excited to know.
"A healthy baby girl."
Dom kissed Josie on the head then the lips.
Josie smiled. "Looks like Tej won the bet."
"Looks like."
The nurse printed out the pictures and Josie cleaned off her belly. Dom helped her sit up and then the Tech wished them luck on delivery, and they left.
Josie got her phone out as they approached the car and dialed Mia.
"Well niece or nephew?" Mia asked when she answered Josie's call.
Josie laughed. "Let's just say Tej was right."
"Oh a little girl! That's awesome! Are you excited?"
"I'm thrilled. Dom can't wait to tell everyone."
"Well come over for dinner tonight."
"Okay we'll be there."
She hung up and they headed home.
"So, Mia is excited?"
"Do you have to ask? She can't wait. 10 bucks she will have something pink when we get there."
"That sounds about right."
They got to Mia and Brian's everyone cheered.
Tej did a little dance. "I love being right."
Rome gave Josie a hug."couldn't have worked with me?"
"Sorry."
They sat down to eat and talked the evening away. By the time they got home Josie sat down excited and held up the little bag that had the dress in it.
"Told ya."
Dom took the bag and put it down on the coffee table and kissed his wife.
"I want to take my wife back to the bedroom and remind her what she does to me."
Josie pulled him in for another kiss. "Sounds good."
They went back and they made love until both were exhausted and fell asleep. Once the baby came things would change for them, but in a good way. Neither could wait. This was the start of their family.

Toby drove by Josie's on his way to work. He saw Dom leave and watched Josie. Even pregnant she was good looking. That could've been him with her. Their baby. He had her and he almost had her completely broken to him. If she hadn't have fought back, right now she wouldn't be blinking without his say so.
When she went in the house he drove off. He didn't know how much longer he could wait. He wanted to move forward and destroy Dom and then take Josie and the baby to be his. She would resist at first then she would have no choice but to submit. He got to work and went about his day fixing cars, doing deliveries and helping customers. He was being a good member of society. On his way home he pulled up in front of Josie's and saw Dom come home. He left the door open and you could see into the kitchen. She was finishing dinner. Dom went in and kissed her then bent down and kissed her belly. She laughed and looked at him with a look he had never seen from her before. She looked at Dom lovingly and she had never looked at him like that. He gripped the steering wheel and glared at the couple. He drove off fuming. She had never loved him even though he loved her. He would make her understand that. Dom would have to go though. Now how was he gonna pull this off?

It was 2 more weeks till Josie's due date. She was trying to get things done in case she went early. Dom would call every 30 minutes it seemed to check on her. It was driving her nuts but she knew he meant well. She was putting stuff away from her baby shower and packing her bag and the baby's so they were ready. She placed her hands on her belly.
"We get to meet you soon baby girl. We can't wait."
She grabbed the bags and stuck them by the door with the car seat. She finished dinner just as Dom came in with Brian.
Brian kissed Josie on the cheek and Dom kissed her on the lips.
"How are you doing today?" Brian asked, grabbing a soda.
"I'm fat, I can't see my feet and I can't get up when I sit or lay down. I'm ready for this baby to get here."
"Yeah Mia was like that too. You're at the home stretch."
"Thank you doctor Brian." She stuck her hands on her hips and Brian laughed.
"Yup that's my cue to leave." He kissed her again and gave Dom a pat on the back.
"Later man." Dom wrapped his arms around Josie and he kissed her on the top of the head. "It's almost over baby."
"I know. I can't wait to meet her."
They sat and ate dinner then Dom took a shower. Josie laid in bed and she felt a sharp pain in her stomach. She breathed through it and it went away after a few minutes she felt it again.
"Uh oh." She slowly got up out of bed and went to the bathroom, another pain hitting. "Dom!"
"Yeah baby." He was drying off.
She went to answer when she felt her water break. "I think my water just broke."
Dom looked at her with a shocked look. "Seriously?"
"No I'm kidding hahaha."
Dom saw the spot on her clothes and ran to help her. "Let me get dressed and we will get to the hospital."
"Ahhh!" She bent forward. "I wanna change into something dry."
Dom got dressed and took out clean clothes for Josie. She changed and they headed to the car. Dom grabbed all the stuff and they headed out.
Toby watched them go and smiled. Their time was almost up.
They got to the hospital and got Josie checked in and she was taken to her room. Her contractions were 10 minutes apart. They got her in a hospital gown and into bed, and hooked up to monitors. Dom was calling everyone to let them know what was going on.
Josie grunted through the pain as Dom rubbed her back some.
"Dom it hurts."
"I know baby, just breathe."
She breathed through it and moaned a little. It had been 4 hours now that she had been in labor and she was only at 4 centimeters.
"Why won't she come already?"
"She will when she's ready."
Josie moaned again. The doctor came in and checked her.
"Well Josie you're at about a 5."
"Ohhh. Seriously?"
"Sorry. You're getting there though. Just slowly."
"Of course."

7 hours in she was at a 6. She just was not progressing like she was hoping she would. Dom wiped the sweat from her brow. Mia was holding her hand and giving her encouraging words.
"Not much longer just keep thinking that."
"I want her out of me."
The doctor came back in and everyone left so she could check her.
"You're at a 8. Just a few more centimeters. "
Josie smiled then another contraction hit.
10 hours in she was finally at a 10.
"Ok Josie let's get ready to push."
The nurse's helped her get into position and the doctor got ready while she had her start pushing. Dom kissed her on the head then helped hold one of her legs while a nurse held the other.
"That's good Josie. Count to 10 then take a break next contraction we will push again."
The next contraction hit Dom counted as she pushed. She was exhausted. She had been pushing for 20 minutes. Finally the head came out.
"Ok we got a head." The doctor maneuvered the baby a bit as Josie pushed the rest of the baby out.
Josie laid back onto Dom and took deep breaths. The doctor held up the baby.
"It's a girl"
Dom cut the cord and the nurse wiped the baby off before laying her on Josie's chest. Dom couldn't stop kissing Josie. He was so proud of her and so in awe. Josie held on to their baby girl. She was perfect. The nurses took her to get cleaned up good and bundled up then they handed her back to her mom. After Josie got cleaned up some and then they were ready for everyone to meet the baby.
Mia came in and gave Josie a hug. "She's beautiful."
Tej gave Dom a man hug "what's her name?"
Dom smiled and took his baby girl in his arms. "Meet Hannah Renee Torretto."
Mia was so happy. "It's perfect."
Brian handed Elliott to Mia and gave Josie a hug before looking at his niece.
"She looks like her mom."
Rome laughed. "Except for the bald head."
Tej smacked him.
Josie closed her eyes, she was so exhausted. Dom looked over and smiled.
"Shhh. Let her sleep." He handed Hannah to Mia to hold as she gave Elliott to Rome.
It was a perfect day. Everyone visited for a bit then they went home to get some sleep. Dom placed Hannah in the hospital bassinet and sat in the chair by Josie's bed going to sleep himself.
