Today Raina was hanging with the cons rather than the bots. Like old times. But now she had a whole new perspective of the Decepticons, especially Megatron.
Right now, she was currently over thinking her words. She planned on asking Megatron's a few questions, maybe it was more confronting than anything else.
*You look very stressed. Have you been spending too much time with those bots?* Knockout asked.
*Nah. I've just been...thinking.* Raina admitted.
*Whatever you say. I hope you aren't going soft on them. They are pretty deceiving.*
*I don't think they are.*
*Oh dear, they've already got you!* Knockout joked dramatically.
*Oh shut up* Raina smirked at him like he was an absolute fool.
"Back with the supplies!" Breakdown announced coming in with a bunch of stacked boxes.
"Breakdown, you think I should confront Megatron?" Raina asked him, hopeful for a good answer.
"If you want to die then go right ahead." He replied.
Raina huffed, resting her head on her hands.
"Well I am. So see you later." Raina told them, jumping down from the table and down crates.
"Are we ever going to see her again?" Breakdown asked.
"I hope so." Knockout replied nervously.
Raina was good at getting answers but doing that with Megatron was certainly going to be a showdown.
Raina walked down the halls, waving at each Vehicon passing by. Then she reached the room Megatron was supposed to be in. The door opened and he stood there. Servos begins his back as he chatted with Soundwave.
When he heard the door open, he turned around and greeted Raina. She had since clarified Starscream's plan since she was with the Autobots. He understood after that told her to continue the plan. She had been playing along with him but now it was time.
"Raina, nice to see you." Megatron greeted. Soundwave nodded his head, his visor showing a waving hand.
"Hi Megatron...um I was wondering if I could talk to you. If you aren't busy." She said nervously.
She was seriously rethinking this plan but she wasn't backing down. She's so close and too far in. 'Just do it and see what happens' she thought.
Megatron nodded to Soundwave who started to leave the room. The Vehicons as well. Now it was only Megatron and Raina. Alone.
"So as you know, I've been with the Autobots lately." Raina started. Her voice was quivering as she dug herself in the hole of kaon/hell.
"Yes and your doing a very good job of it." Megatron praised.
"I've had a chance to learn about them personally. From my observations, they don't seem all that bad."
"How so?" Megatron asked, not seeming mad at all. Shocker.
"They are super nice, their relationships with the kids look and seem real, they don't seem like threats at all. In fact, quite the opposite. I think you've been seeing them wrong, at a different perspective they are quite lovely mechs and femme." Raina explained quickly.
"You haven't seen what I have child. They aren't 'nice' and they are tricking the other humans, just like they are with you." Megatron retorted with a low growl.
"You tricked me! You said you wanted peace with them!" Raina all but screamed.
"I do want peace." He bellowed back.
"Then explain what I saw while Bumblebee was in your sick, twisted, delusional, mind. You killing Optimus after he refused to bow to you, killing figments over and over again, even killing a child!"
"I knew they weren't real, something I do in my mind and something I would do in real life aren't the same. It's bold to assume just because I act in one way somewhere else, that I would do it again in reality." Megatron seemed to relax a bit more, like he had this handled. Or like he was expecting this kind of outburst.
"You think the Autobots are any better? After they destroyed our home? This is all deception. They are nothing more than traitors and suppressors." Megatron added. Raina knew he was lying. She had done her research and had gotten the truth.
"I'm just saying there's more to them than meets the eye." Raina said calmly.
"Well, don't be fooled. Don't come running to me if they hurt you. I think it's best if you take your leave now. Maybe check up with Knockout. Your 'brain' might have gotten scrambled up with the truth and the lies." He replied coldly.
Raina felt her anger boil up. Megatron just basically called her crazy for having an opinion about the Autobots. Now she wasn't nervous, but pretty upset. Then something struck her.
"Wait...you said 'our' home. Megatron, there's no one else in the room besides you and me. But yet, you said 'our'."
"You will know in due time child." Megatron said, clearly trying to dismiss her but she wasn't leaving yet.
"In due time? What's that supposed to mean? And why are you telling me to see Knockout because I expressed my opinion?" Her voice was suggesting aggression, which Megatron sensed.
He was impressed she had the guts to do this but the only thing fueling her was the need of knowledge.
"Your opinion is invalid. If you like the Autobots so much, you can join them." He hissed.
"I don't want to be one, I'm just saying they are very different from what you described...liar." She whispered the last part, but he heard.
"I'm the liar? I told you nothing but the truth." Megatron chuckled at her but she wasn't backing down.
"My research says otherwise. The Autobots gave a more straight forward story than you." Raina retorted.
"Riley. Are you a Decepticon or not." He asked, using her real name.
"I am, I'm just confused by the answers currently given. Perhaps I will take that leave and think for a while. Anything you want to mention before I go snooping through your files. Saying the truth now will save you the trouble." Raina told him, unafraid.
"Spoken like a true Decepticon. I won't hide anything from you anymore if that's what you wish, but as training, I'll make it harder to obtain the info." Megatron suggested.
"Challenge accepted." Raina took the challenge before turning to leave.
One second she was pissing him. Now she was being given training to answer her questions. Wow things can really take the weirdest of turns.
Well now she had a mission to complete. Finding the truth. What really went down before meeting the Decepticons. The Autobots true intentions. And why she couldn't remember her childhood. Time for exploring!
After she left the room, Megatron did as well. Raina decided to put her search efforts on hold to find out what he was doing. Eventually he entered the medical bay where Starscream laid, hooked up and badly damaged. No doubt by Megatron.
She saw as Starscream shot his optics open in fear as Megatron approached. Yeah Starscream was being a jerk sometimes but did he have to scare and beat him to death?
She didn't get to hear the rest of the conversation as Soundwave scooped her up.
"Hey Soundwave, Lazerbeak." Raina patted the latched on cassette, acknowledging his exsistence.
"Meeting- Autobots...now" Soundwave said using recordings of other con's voices.
"Oh shoot! Can you bridge me?" Raina asked in a hurry.
Soundwave placed her down and opened the bridge to Jasper. Raina thanked him and waved goodbye as she ran through. Miko was gonna hound her for being late today.
Raina came out of the bridge and near her home. She grabbed her bike, not even grabbing her helmet, and rushed off. After a bunch of peddling, sweating, and making her joints sore, she spotted the base ahead.
Once she approached the secret entrance and it opened up, she rode through the hall leading to the main part. Throwing her bike to the ground and panting, she greeted the bots.
"Sorry...about...being...late" she panted hunched forward.
"Get your butt up here!" Miko yelled from across the room.
"Give me...a second."
Raina caught her breath, finally, and joined the kids. Miko was drawing while Jack and Raf were watching T.V.
"Whatcha drawing?" Raina asked, sitting down next to Miko and looking at her drawing.
"Optimus and Megatron having a showdown!" Miko exclaimed.
Then Ratchet caught everyone's attention, noticing a dark energon signal.
"I had hoped that my growing expertise on the subject would remain purely academic, but though faint, this is clearly a dark energon signature and it's moving fast." Ratchet explained.
"Megatron." Optimus concluded.
"Where'd he find more of the bad stuff?" Arcee asked.
"And what's he gonna do with it, recruit a new army of the undead?" Bulkhead added.
"Zombicons?" Miko exclaimed suddenly, looking at the bots.
"Miko." Raina warned but Miko ignored.
"We cannot rule out the possibility, especially since Megatron seems to be heading to a familiar site." Optimus mentioned, looking at the monitor.
"Megatron barley emerged from stasis and it seems he's already making up for lost time." Optimus also added.
"Bulkhead, Bumblebee, Ratchet, prepare to roll out."
The others started to walk to the groundbridge while Ratchet turned around confused.
"Me?" Ratchet asked, clearly this wasn't an everyday thing.
"If we are dealing with dark energon, I may well require your expertise." Optimus explained.
"Arcee-" "Bridge Operator. Got it." Arcee cut off Optimus.
"Go get 'em Bulkhead. Bring the hurt!" Miko told her guardian in a chillax tone.
Jack, Raf, and Raina looked at each other, confused and suspicious.
"That's not like Miko to not want to go." Jack told the other two.
"She's definitely up to something." Raf agreed.
"Watch her closely guys." Raina warned, eyeing Miko.
The groundbridge soon got activated as the 4 mechs walked halfway in, transformed, then drove off. Miko saw this as her chance and side hopped off the couch.
"Making a break!" Jack said with an 'I knew it' tone. He tripped on a box before making a mad sprint again.
The three kids ran after her but she was shockingly fast, and determined. But Jack managed to catch her by the arm.
"I am not gonna miss my first zombiecon throw down!" She yelled, yanking her arm free and going through the bridge.
"Miko!" Jack called out but it was too late. Raf and Raina followed the two kids through, the bridge closing behind them.
Miko ran up a pile of rocks, getting a nice view of the view place. The trio followed her as the bots approached, not Megatron, but Starscream.
'What the...how? I thought Starscream was badly injured?' Raina thought.
"That's not Megatron." Bulkhead said the obvious.
"RISE SKYQUAKE! RISE!" Starscream yelled at a pile of rocks that were glowing purple.
"What is he doing?" Raina asked to no one specific.
"Let's see some fight of the living dead already!" Miko cheered loudly. Raina was shocked the bots couldn't hear her.
"Miko, what were you thinking?" Jack asked her annoyed, getting down like she was.
"She wasn't." Raf stated.
"Miko, we could get hurt!" Raina hissed.
"Hey, I totally missed out last time. This could be my only chance to take some snaps." She said gesturing to the scene unfolding.
She got up and reached for her phone but couldn't feel it. She frantically patted herself all over for the small device but couldn't find it.
"My cellphone! I must have dropped it back at base!" Miko thought out loud, searching the ground for it.
Raina ignored the banter that began between Jack and Miko as Optimus started to walk forward and activate his blaster.
"Starscream!" He called out.
"Autobots." Starscream sneered.
"Stand down!"
"You stand down!" Starscream fired one of his missiles at the group.
They all ducked back behind two nearby boulders as Starscream started to ramble on like he was invincible.
"You cannot harm me while dark energon flows through my veins!" His eyes glowed purple at the mention of dark energon.
Raina couldn't believe even after Megatron nearly offlined him, he was still going behind his back to do reckless things!
Then Optimus got out of cover and shot at Starscream, blasting his right arm completely off. Almost like a way of saying 'no you aren't'.
Starscream looked at his lifeless limb then the nub. He panicked and grabbed his arm before fleeing behind a rock.
"You clipped his wing. He's grounded." Bulkhead noted to Optimus.
The bots started to approach him with vicious intent before Miko yelled something loudly at the top of her lungs.
"UGH, I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU MADE ME LOSE MY PHONE!"
Raina covered her ears, scrunching her eyes. Jack and Raf were just standing there as the bots turned around.
"Uh, h-how is this my fault?" Jack asked in disbelief.
Raina stood next to Raf, noticing he wasn't liking the fighting. She turned him to her and started to do a funny impression of Miko to cheer him up.
"Oh no." Bulkhead expressed.
"We have a visual." Optimus said, getting a comm from Arcee.
"Send the groundbridge immediately."
Then 2 groundbridges opened at the same time. One near Starscream and the other next to the kids. Everyone looked at them both, confused.
"Two?" Ratchet said confused.
"You four, into our groundbridge. Now!" Ratchet called out to them.
Raina and Raf went ahead as Jack grabbed Miko, expecting her to resist. "Come on." He told her. They ran through but suddenly felt something weird, making them stop while within the groundbridge.
They felt some sort of force, pulling around the kids. Then it suddenly bursted and blew the four back.
When they started to wake up, it was all dusty and dull. Like every shade of colour had been mixed with grey. The most vibrant colours were Raf's vest, Miko's yellow belt, and Raina's cyan highlights.
"Are you guys okay?" Jack asked as everyone groaned from the sudden explosion.
"Yeah...I think so." Raf said, fixing his glasses.
Then the bots started to get up.
"W-What just happened?" Bulkhead asked still a bit dazed.
"I can't be certain. But if two groundbridges sent to the same coordinates crossed streams, the feedback could have triggered a system overload." Ratchet answered.
"Could? Hello, more like totally did." Miko called out.
"The kids made it through right?" Bulkhead asked while staring directly at them.
"Huh?" Raf was confused now as Miko stormed at Bulkhead annoyed.
"What's he talking about?" Jack asked.
"They better be joking." Raina added.
"Bulkhead, we're right here!" Miko tried telling him but it's like he didn't hear her.
"Arcee, did the children make it safely back to base?" Optimus asked, raising his digits to his comm link system.
"No sign." Ratchet said afterwards.
"Arcee must've told them the we weren't there." Raina thought aloud.
"What? 'No sign'?!" Miko bursted out angrily.
"Okay, seriously Bulk-" Her rant was cut short when he started to walk towards then through her.
Miko screamed, walking backwards and falling into Jack who caught her.
"He went right through you." Jack realized solemnly.
"We're not alive." Jack then stated.
"What?! We died! And now we're stuck here!" Raina shouted in disbelief, putting her hands over her face in horror.
"I don't want to be a ghost!" Raf piped up.
"We were too young...and now we'll never see our families again!" Raina started choking up but Jack immediately stopped her.
"Wait. How can we still touch each other?" Jack realized, thinking about Raf's statement about ghosts.
"Wait...we're not dead?" Raina asked sniffling. She sighed in relief when Jack made that comment.
The four watched as the bots started to walk away. They chased after them as the Optimus tried to figure out where they could have gone.
"Ratchet...could the children have been transported onto the Nemesis instead?"
"Not likely. If Starscream didn't arrive at our base, the most likely explanation is a dislocation. The children may simply have been bridged to an unintended destination."
The kids stopped running and stood there, watching the bots just leave them. Having the feeling of being ignored was not a nice one to feel at that moment. Especially when the person ignoring you doesn't mean to.
"Another place but in the same place." Raf pondered.
"W-Wh-What do you mean?" Jack asked. Miko and Raina giving the same questioning look.
"We're probably in a different dimension, some kind of alternate reality, a shadow zone." Raf explained.
"Nerd Alert." Miko piped in.
"Well then, I'm glad we have someone who could at least explain this. I much rather that then the 'we're dead' conclusion." Raina said defending Raf while still being nice about it.
The bots seemed to be investigating where the rocks once were, talking amongst themselves. That's when a large claw like hand grabbed the rock wall in front of the kids. It walked up slowly, creaking like a rusty hinge, and growling like a zombie. He walked towards the Autobots who were currently making their way through their groundbridge.
Miko gasped. "ZOMBIE!" she cried out, warning the bots. They all ran in their general direction, watching with worry and fright as their friends and guardians were about to get attacked.
"GUYS LOOK OUT!" "BULKHEAD!" "IT'S RIGHT BEHIND YOU!" "TURN AROUND!"
The kids shouted, trying to get their attention. Then the zombiecon raised his servo and swung down on Bulkhead but it went right through him. It growled in confusion as the kids slowed to a stop.
"Awesome. It can't touch them either." Miko cheered.
Then it turned around and growled at them, hearing Miko's voice. They all realized what she said as the thing seemed to notice them.
"If that thing can't touch the bots..." Jack started.
"Just like we can't..." Miko continued. The zombiecon walking towards them.
"Then we're fragged." Raina finished.
"And we're trapped in the shadowzone with a Decepticon zombie!" Raf added nervously.
"If we aren't ghosts now, we will be soon." Miko said, confirming their deaths right here, right now.
"RUN!" Raina screamed, turning around the opposite direction and doing the action. The kids didn't even stand for a second longer, running as well.
Then Raf tripped, falling down with a thud and losing his glasses in the process. Jack immediately went back and grabbed the boy, bringing him to a nearby rock.
"Jack, my glasses!" Raf mentioned worryingly.
Jack looked around the corner and spotted them. Also seeing a zombie Skyquake catching up.
"Way too dangerous." He told the blind boy.
"I can't see without them." Raf stated.
"What are you, 90?" Miko asked sarcastically.
"Miko. Now is not the time." Raina punched Miko in the arm.
"And it's not helping." Jack added.
"Fine." Miko huffed and ran out from the cover.
"MIKO!" Raina called out, trying to grab the girl but failed.
The three watched as Miko ran out into the open and grabbed the glasses. Then the zombiecon nearly squished her but she jumped out of the way in time.
"Hoo-Yah!" Miko cheered before running back to the three.
"Here you go, gramps. Let's book." Miko said handing the glasses to Raf who put them on immediately.
The 4 were back to running for their lives as the zombiecon growled and shook the ground beneath them.
"Maybe we could set a trap, try to crush it." Miko suggested.
"With what? Nothing around here is solid except us and the ground." Raf pointed out.
"We can't run forever. But maybe we can hide." Miko suggested again.
"If we can run far enough from that thing. But I don't see any where we can." Raina observed, looking around at the ravines walls.
They ran for a little longer before stopping to catch their breath. Somehow, they managed to get pretty far ahead but they would lose all that progress if they stayed where they were.
"The best thing about Zombies, they're slow moving." Miko joked, impersonating one herself.
Then out of the blue, Jack's phone started going off. They were all confused but suddenly realized it.
"Is that your..." Raf thought then they all shouted the answer.
"Phone!"
Jack immediately tried to pick up but only received static.
"Hello? Arcee?" Jack asked frantically as they watched.
"Hello? A-Arcee?" He tried again.
"Nothing." Jack told them.
"Gee imagine that. The fourth dimension has lousy cellphone reception." Miko commented sarcastically.
"Wait, guys guys guys, the phone rang. We're getting a signal." Jack piped in.
"Yeah except we can't talk to them over the phone!" Raina shouted frustrated.
"Maybe the Autobots can't see or hear us because we're moving at hyper speed or something." Raf though about it.
"That doesn't make any sense." Raina told him.
"Do you think that they could read us?" Jack asked.
"Texting!" Raf exclaimed.
"Text me! If my phone's back at the base, maybe they'll see it." Miko explained happily now.
Raina looked behind them and saw the zombiecon making its way closer now. She backed up slightly, bumping into Miko.
"Jack, can you text and run?" Raina asked nervously.
Everyone looked up and immediately got moving. They ran underneath the zombie and between it's legs, running past the thing. Jack was struggling to text but managed to type the message and send it. Now all they had to do was hope Miko's phone was at base and that they would see the message.
"Déjà vu!" Miko shouted.
"What?" Jack asked.
"This doesn't look familiar to you?" She asked.
"Not really." Jack replied.
"Dude, we just ran one big circle!" Miko exclaimed, looking behind her.
"Is that a bad thing?" Raina asked.
But before Miko could answer they all ran smack into something. They all fell back, groaning in pain and shock. When they looked up, it was Starscream's arm.
"Sweet." Miko said standing up first and walking towards the limb.
"It must have gotten trapped in here during the explosion too." Raf concluded.
The zombiecon then made itself present by growling more, letting them know that it was coming.
"We can use the missile on Starscream's arm!" Raina thought out loud quickly, running up to it.
"Well if it's solid, we can use it." Jack added.
They all got to work pushing the arm and lining it up, readying it for the con.
"Anyone know how to fire this thing? I don't see a trigger" Miko asked, looking for some sort of switch or button.
"His index digit." Raina said subconsciously.
"How do you know?" Jack asked.
"Seen him do it earlier while you guys were fighting." Raina covered up.
"Ok well get ready guys." Jack said, holding on to the index digit of the limb. "We have one shot, let's make it count."
Then when the zombiecon finally got close enough, Jack used all his strength to pull it back. The missile went flying off and towards the big zombie, actually hitting it.
"How do you like us now?" Miko taunted. But once the smoke disappeared, Skyquake's revealed himself well alive as his arm fell off.
The four kids watched as the arm twitched before coming to life and hopping off it's back. Then using the digits are legs, started to crawl right after them. It was much faster than zombie Skyquake was, which terrified the kids more.
"We shouldn't have done that..." Raina said quietly as the arm got closer.
"Come on! Come on!" Jack yelled, ushering them all to run.
"How can the zombie arm move faster than the actual zombie?!" Miko asked in disbelief.
Then the arm started to jump from rock to rock, gaining more speed and catching up faster. Then it crawled along the wall, digging into its rocky surface.
After plenty of running later, they ended up back at Starscream's arm.
"Oh come on. This place is like one big merry-go-round." Miko huffed.
"We're gonna die. We're all gonna die." Raina announced, completely giving up.
"Don't give up yet. The bots will see our message and come to the rescue." Miko chimed brightly to Raina who wasn't having it.
"Skyquake? Your master summons you!" Starscream suddenly shouted out.
"How'd that freak get into our dimension?" Miko asked.
"He didn't. He can't see us." Jack said.
"Forget Starscream, we got to run...some more." Miko pointed out to the incoming arm, crawling their way.
Off they went, dashing away from the arm but towards Starscream. Thank goodness he wasn't in their dimension or they would be toast. But as they ran, a groundbridge appeared right in front of them and Starscream.
"A groundbridge portal?" Raf asked.
"That has to be our way out of here." Jack said.
"The Autobots saw our text." Miko exclaimed.
"But what about Starscream?" Raina asked.
"If we go through, we run smack into Starscream. If we don't..." Raf started to weigh their options.
"We're zombie chow." Jack finished as they all looked behind them.
"Option three, we keep running in circles." Miko added.
"Maybe Starscream won't hurt us." Raina told them.
"What do you mean?" Miko asked.
"Now is not the time guys, just follow my lead." Jack piped in.
They walked up to the vortex, stopping right in front of it. They waited for Jack to say something as Miko went "Oh Oh" in anticipation.
"Now!" Jack shouted running into it. The other three joining him. They more jumped then ran and landed on their butts, but they still got through.
They could immediately tell they were in the right dimension. The atmosphere was brighter and Starscream noticed them coming out.
"Humans? Where did you vermin-" Starscream got cut off when zombie Skyquake's arm launched through the groundbridge as well. Latching on to Starscream's faceplates like a facehugger.
"No! This isn't mine! Unhand me!" He yelped out, screaming afterwards.
"We are not vermin stilettos!" Raina shouted out before catching up to her three friends.
Just then, another groundbridge appeared as the bots walked out this time, looking down and seeing the four.
"Jack, Miko, Rafael, Raina." Optimus greeted relieved.
"Autobots again?!" Starscream shouted. Major déjà vu to him. "Requesting Emergency Groubdbridge now!"
"Uh-oh. Not again!" The four shouted. They ran through the groundbridge without a second thought, passing the bots.
Eventually they made it back to base, sighing in relief. The Autobots joined them seconds after. After everyone (the kids really) gathered themselves, Miko spoke up.
"Look, if you're gonna blame anybody, blame me." Miko owned up.
"I'm sorry. Could you repeat that a couple dozen times?" Jack asked teasingly.
"Say it one more time, I wanna make it my ringtone." Raina took her phone out, waving it around tauntingly.
"Miko, what you endured has been lesson enough. We are just glad you are safe." Optimus told her with a smile.
"Guess it was a good thing you dropped this. Too bad you didn't get any pictures though." Bulkhead said, getting down to hand Miko back her phone.
"Nah, that's okay. I think after today, I pretty much have Zombie close-ups seared into my brain." Miko mentioned, making a square with her hands, gesturing a photo shoot.
"That is not a good thing Miko. You sure you don't need therapy or something?" Raina asked jokingly.
"Nope. I much rather nightmares then dreams anyway." Miko replied.
"She is a weird girl." Jack sighed out.
"Then we are glad to have her or this place would be boring." Raina added.
Everyone spent the rest of the day just chilling, well, more like Miko over dramatized their story while telling it. When it was time to go home, Miko wanted to join Raina for a second when dropping her off.
"Be right back Bulkhead." Miko told him, getting out with Raina.
She felt butterflies in her stomach that Miko was coming inside her house with her. She didn't know why, and it wasn't a nervous kind of butterflies either.
"So uh, why'd you come in with me?" Raina asked, closing the door behind her.
"What did you mean earlier, about Starscream?" Miko said cutting to the chase.
"Oh I Uh...just thought we could negotiate with him maybe." Raina chuckled.
"Stupid plan obviously but I was high from the adrenaline rush so...yeah."
"Uh-huh. Don't think I haven't noticed Optimus and Bee acting more strange around you." Miko added, like she was playing bad cop.
"Am I supposed to know why?" Raina asked sarcastically.
"Well both of them had alone time with you. Plus I'm your BFF, no secrets remember?" Miko pointed at her accusingly.
"It's nothing Miko, really." Raina told her reassuringly, trying to walk away but Miko grabbed her and directly stared into her eyes.
"I know that look. That's your 'reassurance while keeping the truth' look."
"You know me well Miko Nakadai...fine."
Raina was released as Miko crossed her arms, waiting for this secret she was left out on.
"I...am friends with the...Decepticons." Raina said slowly, sheepishly rubbing the back of her head.
"That why you have this?" Miko asked, letting the Decepticon necklace hang from her two fingers.
"Wher-" "Optimus never gave it back apparently. So just friends huh?" Miko quickly answered, now she looked up at Raina smugly.
"You're one of them, aren't you?"
"...yes..." Raina let out finally.
"That...is...SO AWESOME!" Miko shouted excitedly.
"I'm sorry I lied to you and- wait what." Raina looked at the hyper girl jumping up and down in her spot.
"Do you have any scars? Do you go on missions? Does every con like you? Does Megatron like you? Are you a spy right now?"
"Miko chill. No, sometimes, probably, I don't know but I don't like him, not anymore. Really, I thought you would be mad or think I betrayed you guys."
"Nah, your my BFF. You would never do that to us. Besides I think it's cool you like both sides of this whole thing. You can play ambassador or peacekeeper!"
"Huh, never really thought of it that way."
"See, I can be smart when I want to be...or if my brain decides to actually work."
"You aren't mad?" Raina asked again doubtfully.
"You haven't hurt me or but bots so why would I be?" Miko told her reassuringly.
Miko then hugged Raina in a comforting way. Raina on the other hand was hardcore blushing but returned the hug.
"Bulkhead it still waiting you know." Raina told her, letting the girl go.
"Oh shoot! Uh see ya tomorrow?" Miko asked with finger guns.
"Yep. See you Mika-Chi." Raina waved goodbye.
"Forgot something...hey there girl. Hi. Yes you're a good girl." Miko cooed at Collette who was standing near the door.
Raina laughed as Miko quickly stood up and rushed out the door, waving goodbye before taking off into the night.
That night, Raina was on the family computer. Coding and hacking the Decepticon mainframe to get her info. There were several firewalls and code blocks. Puzzles and riddles too. Let's just say, long story short, Raina got zero sleep that night.
Good thing it was a Friday, she could make up for her sleep after school was all done. She hoped. She got a bit closer and backed up her progress in case they pulled a wipe on it.
Collette was acting like she usually did, lying down and not doing anything. Awake too, not even sleeping. Rachel planned on bringing her to their vet soon. Hopefully she would be ok.
But this weekend, aside from sleeping, Raina had some questions to ask.
