Chapter 28-The fight is coming
Billy was looking into the woods when Bellamy, Murphy, and Clarke come over. "First watch is over," Bellamy tells the teens on watch, who nod. "Have the second group start," Bellamy says. They nod as they walk away. "Keep your eyes open," Bellamy tells them, before he, Murphy, and Clarke walk over to Billy.
"Anything?" Murphy asks his best friend. Billy shakes his head.
"It's been two days. Maybe the bomb at the bridge scared them off for good," Clarke says.
"You believe that?" Murphy asks.
"No," Clarke says.
"They're coming," Billy says.
"Jasper said he could cook up some gunpowder if he gets some sulfur, and Raven says she can turn that into landmines," Bellamy says as they walk down the hill.
"So be careful where you step," Bellamy says. "What I really need is 1,000 more of her tin can bombs. I can roll into their village and blow those grounders to hell," Bellamy says. Billy looks at him. "That's what they want to do to us," Bellamy says.
"Can't believe we survived 100 years just so we could slaughter each other," Clarke says.
"There's another way. Also, Raven wouldn't make those bombs without talking to me, and second, if you did that, I would probably shoot you. As I said, after we survive, we have to live, which means peace with the grounders," Billy says.
"Any word from the ark?" Bellamy asks.
"I talked to Kane. He said they should be down, in two days we just have to hold tight till then," Billy says. The others nod.
I know this is super short, but this was made more for a message. Fuck what I said about the break. It's not fair, and I realize that. So now, with me being back in school, the schedule will stay the same, but if I don't upload, that means that I was too tired or I had school work, and I couldn't. School does come before this.
