She managed to get him to stay. To listen a little longer. She continued writing. It was as if she could finally release all the words that were caged inside her heart. Who knew sharing her thoughts could be so much fun!

So embarrassing.

Her innermost thoughts, all displayed on a blackboard. How would he react? What would he say?

It didn't matter. She wanted to talk. She wouldn't let her trauma from Junior High repeat.

She would continue to communicate. And ignore that queasy feeling welling up inside her.

Nothing would ruin this for her.
