Avengers Crisis On Earth X Chapter 31
"What kind of General of Freedom Fighters are you when you're leaving other Earths at risk of these Nazis just to save your own? The people your trying to kill are on Earth-1 hurting our friends and trying to expand their empire and if you blow up that gateway, you blow up our only chances of stopping and saving this earth too!" Steve said.
" We're going to that facility and we're going through that gateway and we're gonna stop those Nazis once and for all. Now you let us do our job or I'll start breaking bones and leave anyway. Take your pick" Natasha adds adding more pressure.
"General, give them what they want. These people have come a long way to get back home and are willing to some good for us. Losing, isn't an option for them. I'd decide quickly if I were you, I can almost hear the sound of your arm about to pop out of its socket" said Earth-X Fury
As Winn laid on the ground wincing in pain with Natasha applying more pressure to the joint, he finally submits to the demand.
"Alright fine FINE !"
"What was that? Speak up?" Natasha teased
"I'll give you your window"
Natasha let's go as she lets Winn in to his feet.
Winn dusts himself off and shakes feeling into his arm.
"I've decided against my better judgment to grant you additional time. You have an hour. And if you don't make it in time, I will blow that place to Kingdom Come!"
"See? That wasn't so hard now was it?"
General Winn walks up to Natasha pointing and warns
"If Fury and and his men weren't here I would have had you locked up in the.."
Natasha quickly hits him with a swift left hook knocking him out.
The team simply looked at Natasha.
"What ?" she asks
"Was all of that really necessary?" asked Jax
"Well talking him into it obviously failed"
"I mean... To her credit it did buy us the time we needed" said Sara.
"Natasha... Thank you" said Alex.
"We're gonna get out of here and save your sister Alex. Whatever it takes"
"Romanoff is right. It doesn't how she bought us time, what matters is that we have it now" said Oliver.
"Alright so what's the plan?" Barry asks
"Follow me to the war room" said Fury.
Fury takes the team to the war room as a model map of the base was laid out on the table.
"Now out Intel suggests that the gateway is located deep in the facility. Somewhere deep below the laboratory in a sort of hangar bay since the space is big enough to hold such a device" Fury said.
"Now you referenced 100 guards I assume they're located around the perimeter?" asked Oliver
"Correct. As far as the eye can see" said Leo.
"Alright so we fight them outside, we access the main corridor, what's security gonna look like on the inside?"
"Then we'll need to do some Recon" said Steve.
"I'm on it *zooms in and out* so the entire facility has meta human dampaners" Added Barry doing said Recon.
"That's still leaves another problem. My suit has been taken by these guys, does the map say where it could possibly be?" Tony asks
"The General collects weapons. If my guess is to be correct, ol' Iron Skull must have taken your gear and placed it within there" said Leo.
"Well we can't take that hanger with no powers man" said Jax.
"The satellites indicate that the control room is off thr hangar, that must be where the dampaner is" added Stein.
"Okay so we definitely can't take the main control room with no powers. It's not like we blend in"
Oliver and Steve then looked at each other knowing what the other was about to say.
"Maybe you don't..." Steve said
Oliver then placed a piece on the map.
"I think I know how to get in"
Back on Earth-1 both Karas were being prepped for the heart transplant.
"She's cooked" said Thawne injecting Earth-38 Kara with a drug.
Earth-X Oliver looks at Earth-X Kara.
"Then you will wake up stronger than you ever been"
"I love you" said Earth-X Kara
"and I love you" replied back Earth-X Oliver as he placed the mask filled with sleeping gas on his wife.
"Unfortunately for you miss Danvers, I need you awake for this procedure" said Thawne.
"My cousin. He'll find you" Earth-38 Kara warned.
"Your cousin? Really? Fun tid bit. I actually fought your cousin once. In the future. He is fast. But I'm faster *fires up bone saw*"
In the time vault the team of Felicity, Iris and Scott were working on shutting down the power before Thawne could cut Kara open.
"He's already starting" Iris said
"We're working on it aaaand" said Felicity as she and Scott frantically worked to shut down the power
"Done!" said Scott as the job was done.
Thawne placed his Surgical mask and as he was about to begin, the power cut out.
"Just the back up power is not enough" said Thawne
"Well everyone in the building has been accounted for. Where might people be hiding" asked Earth-X Oliver
Thawne realized a possibile place as he quickly zoomed to the door of the time vault and opened up to see no one was there.
"Meanwhile in the operating room as two guards were around the Karas, Felicity and Iris dropped from the air vents, disarmed and took down the guards.
Iris wakes up the weakened Kara.
"Hey. Come with me if you want to live"
"I'm too weak from the red sun"
"Scott!"
"I'm on it Iris"
As Scott freed Kara he carried her in his arms as the three took her to safety.
As the three made their way to an elevator, Iris pressed the button.
"We gotta go. We gotta go!" said Felicity panicking.
As the elevator door opened, Kara was shocked to see Metallo greet them as the machine blasts her and Scott knocking them back.
"I don't believe Mr. Thawne is done with you yet" said Metallo as he captured the three.
Meanwhile on Earth-X. A trio team of a disguised, Leo, Oliver and Steve approached the front gate if the facility.
"I see the front gate. Guard by the checkpoint" said Steve on his motorcycle leading the way.
"Copy that Rogers. We're in position"
Steve rides up to the guard.
"Ah yes. Captain. You've returned!"
"As you were"
The soldier then saluted with "HAIL HYDRA" to which Steve did the same.
"I'm in. I'll wait for you by the entrance. You're up Queen"
Leo drives the truck up to the guard.
"Papers driver!"
"We don't have papers this is a special visit since we're were following the Captain"
"Papers. Now" the guard ordered.
"Suit yourself but uh. You might wanna talk to our boss" Leo then pulls down the window from the back seat.
"As you were" said Oliver.
"Mein god. My apologies sir. I didn't realize you came back with Hydra Supreme Fuher. Let them through"
"Alright Rogers, we're in"
"Copy. I'll see you inside"
Inside, Steve and Oliver fully in Earth-X and Hydra uniform successfully infiltrated the facility and made it inside the lab.
"HAIL FUHER! HAIL HYDRA!" said the troops and Steve and Oliver saluted back.
Earth-X Quentin walks up to the duo surprised.
"Mein Fuher. Hydra Supreme, I did not expect to see you back"
"Neither was I anticipating being back so soon. After your incompetence, the Earth-1 and Earth-A doppelgangers escaped your custody. OUR Doppelgangers escaped their executions" said Oliver
"An incompetence Hydra is not known for accepting" added Steve
"Yes. They did"
"And?"
"And we are exhausting all possible means to locate them"
"Excellent. But be warned. I may be feeling generous with giving you a second chance, fail us again, and you will learn in the worst of ways of those who fail Hydra" Steve warned.
"Would you like us to delay deployment until we do so?"
"Deployment?" asked Oliver
"She is inbound and ready" said Quentin.
Oliver and Steve walked up to the Monitor to see the gateway device.
Quentin then activated the Earth-X Waverider for launch.
"The Ballon Rider is fully operational and at the ready Mein Fuher " said Quentin.
"We send her through as scheduled" said Oliver
The Earth-X Waverider flies through the breach making its way towards Earth-1.
