Celine tapped her fingertips against her lips as she considered the information she was told.

"Let me see if I got this right? Demons want your baby, so they're going to try and find someone like Emily to get this child."

"That is if Emily is not the only one alive and capable of doing something," Sam explained.

"So worst-case scenario," Celine continued, "Emily is the only one of these children alive, and they try to kidnap her to do their bidding. I mean, I knew she was powerful, but I didn't imagine anything like this. I've been working with her, but I don't think she's anywhere near ready to do what you're asking yet. How long do you think we have?"

"Based on the spell, it can only be done on a new moon," Bobby told her.

"That only gives us a couple of days," Celine thought out loud. "What type of spell is it?"

"It summoning spell," Castiel informed her, as a sheet of paper was passed over to her. "The ingredients are common; it is the instructions that must be followed exactly for it to work."

After a few minutes of looking it over, Celine seemed to wince. "Are you sure this is the only one?"

"Only one?" Dean asked.

"This is the only one we could find," Mary explained.

"Yes, I'm not quite sure this is the only one. There's too much capable of change here."

"What do you mean?" Sam asked.

"Well, this spell is contradicting itself," Celine starts. "Three different phases of the moon are brought up in the instructions, yet the spell can only occur during the new moon. Several flowers are brought up, which have vastly different meanings, yet at the same time, you can take things out, and the functionality of the final spell doesn't change.

"I don't think this is one spell, but I combination of several spells. The final bit is a summoning spell, but the rest seems that is more of a slow-moving spell that takes over bit by bit. The other moon phases talked about referring specifically toward adding things and removing things. What's concerning is what is being added: dark thoughts, disdain, cruelty. What is especially concerning on top of everything is the blue-violet."

"Violet?" Dean asked. "Isn't that used in love poems."

"Yes, most of the time I wouldn't think anything of it, but with the other flowers... Violets represent faithfulness and watchfulness. In these contexts... I think this spell is more about separating the child from their lives and being to transition them into another. Since this seems to be more so about changing their mindset, there is also failsafe it the summoning doesn't work: a tracking element."

"Is there any way to stop it?" Sam asked.

"If they're doing every part of this spell, they would have already had to start if they want to try and summon this new moon. The best chance is to try and make it harder, but it's going to be impossible to keep them off forever. As long as Emily's will stays strong enough, we can prevent the summoning from occurring. Tracking, I haven't done anything like that before."

"So no matter what, I'll be making their way through town," Jody stated.

"Unfortunately," Celine agreed. "If Emily is strong enough ward off this summoning, there's no clue how many are going to come this way, or how quiet they're going to be when they do."

Jody sullenly stood up at the news. "I better go back to the station and figure something out to keep civilians inside. Maybe there could be a gas leak? Let me know if something else comes up."

As the woman left, the kitchen turned silent once again with the feeling of dread.

"So, there's nothing we can do?" Dean depressingly asked.

"I'm sorry," Celine told him. "If I knew something, I would tell you. We can slow them down, but... I don't know for how long. I will admit that this is above my paygrade."

"You said that you were still training Emily?" Mary asked. "What goes into that?"

"Magic uses a lot of symbolism, but at its heart, it's intention. What you intend to happen, even subconsciously, has a knack for coming true. This entire thing is going to be a battle of wills, and unfortunately, the cards are already against her. With this spell, her thoughts are going to become darker over time if we don't stop it, and she didn't have the best upbringing which is something that this spell will use against her. We can try and protect her as much as we want, but it will ultimately be up to her."

"What about teaching her spells to defend herself?" Mary asked.

"It's... complicated. While the symbolism of spellcraft is important, her mind is much more important. I've sure you've seen the effects of that. Those protection charms, even I felt that they were more powerful than they were supposed to be, considering the ingredients she was using because she focused all her energy on protection. She has to believe in herself, but... My talents lie in defense, not offensively. I wouldn't even know where to start." Celine stopped when she heard footsteps come up behind her. "How are they girls do?" Celine asked.

"They're having an in-depth conversation that I can't even begin to understand," Emily said as she sat in a seat that was formerly occupied by Jody. "To be honest, I was distracted by the convo happening here, and honestly, I'm pretty sure you have the wrong person. There's no way I'm the person that you're talking about. I can barely even stand up for myself and I'm supposed to stand up against demons or whatever the hell they decided to send. You can't possibly think that I'm the right person. I want to help, I do, but I don't think you understand what you're asking of me or capable of doing what you think." Her voice broke as tears started to slowly trail down her face.

Mary stood up and made her way over the girl. "Why don't we talk about this tomorrow? It's been a long day and your mind needs the rest."

Emily sniffled and gave a begrudging smile. "I can do that. I better get back before Emma and Riley plot world domination. I can see the two of them doing so."

Emily turned around and made her way out of the room. Once out of earshot, Celine continued. "As you can see, we have a long way to go," she sadly stated.
