Thechaosmaster: Howdy ho, again, everyone! I'm back with yet another chapter! Now then, I know I uploaded earlier today. But, I figured that because this chapter was so short, I'd upload it today.

Red: Yeah, this one is short, but sweet.

Chaos: Yeah. Now then, I know that some of my chapters seem to be lacking in fight scenes, but I never really specialized in fights. I kinda focus more on character interactions, which I do here, mostly. But, till, I try my best with this series. Now, why I might be uploading two chapters today? Well, the next part is going to be what a lot of people have been waiting for. Calamon's return, the return to Hollow Bastion, Tron's World, Demyx Boss fight, DANCE WATER DANCE! On repeat battle of a thousand heartless, all that jazz. And that one I plan on making extremely long, like, three chapters long, maybe. Who knows? But other than that, is everyone ready for this chaper? Well, if not, tough luck, because here it is!

Chapter 17: Twilight Town

Drake was taking a turn driving the Gummi Ship, while our heroes were busy cleaning the handles of their weapons.

Rika shuddered as she continued to clean up, then she said, "Man, while I enjoyed that world, I really wish that we didn't have to use our mouths to use our Keyblades."

Henry nodded, and as he was cleaning his handgrip, he said, "Yeah, I know what you mean, Rika. Why do you think I didn't use the Ends Of The Earth Keyblade? It's one thing to use your own Keyblade, but when you have to hold a massive Keyblade in your mouth? That's where I draw the line."

Then Jeri took a long look at her sword and, after polishing, sharpening, and cleaning the handle, she said, "Too true, Henry. And while I may not know why my sword changed like it did, at least it wasn't too much of a change."

Takato nodded, then he said, "Yeah, I mean, c'mon, I couldn't even duel wield there. Plus, the way I acted was weird, even for me."

Renamon then asked, "Why did you act like that, Takato?"

Our favorite Goggle-Headed prince just shrugged and said, "I really have no clue. But whatever it was, I'm back to my normal self."

Terriermon then cheered and said, "Yeah! And Momentai is back to being the king of phrases again!"

Donald then said, "You really didn't like that 'hakuna matata' stuff, did you, Terriermon?"

Terriermon glared at Donald and said, "Of course I didn't! All you have to do is just take it easy! I mean, yeash! I may act like an idiot at times, but even I know that you shouldn't just forget about your troubles! I mean, yeash, look at prince here!"

Terriermon pointed to Takato, who looked up in surprise, then Terriermon said, "You think that this guy, THIS GUY, the guy who has had his whole reality shattered, would just forget about his troubled past, and just forget about it, and return to being 'Takato Matsuki' The Tamer of Hazard? Get real! He would rather turn into a Heartless, before he let something like that, be forgotten. Yes, he's a Tamer, but he's an older brother first, a prince second, and a Tamer third! This guy is doing the right thing and taking it easy! WHY CAN'T EVERYONE JUST MOMENTAI!?" Terriermon yelled out, while breathing heavily, he then noticed everyone was looking at him in shock, even Drake had stopped the Gummi Ship and looked at Terriermon in shock, then the rabbit Digimon asked, "What?"

Then Rika looked towards Henry and in a very surprised voice, and totally out of character of her, softly asked, "Uh, Henry, are we sure that this is the same Terriermon that you're partnered too, and not a fake?"

Henry dumbly nodded, and he said, "I think so." He then pulled out his D-Ark, and a Modify Card and slowly said, "DigiModify, Targeting, Activate."

Then everyone watched as a green scanner appeared on Terriermon's eye, then he asked, "HEY! WHAT'S THE BIG IDEA!?"

Takato shook his head, then he said, "Sorry, Terriermon, we're just so used to you making stupid jokes and sarcastic remarks, that we're just not used to you being serious."

Terriermon blinked his eyes a few times, then he realized what he had just said, "Man, I never really thought that my ranting would actually surprise you guys."

Sora then asked, "Does this mean, you're not really an idiot?"

Terriermon simply placed his hands behind his head, then he smirked wildly and said, "Momentai."

And just like that, there was a mass anime face drop, destroying the tension that was on the ship. Then Rika rubbed her face, and she sarcastically said, "And now he's back to normal. Wonderful."

Then Drake went back to pilot the ship through the new highway that was created, but then he said, "Hey, guys, it's Twilight Town!"

Everyone ran to the cockpit, and saw that yes, Twilight Town was their next stop, "Huh, I wonder how Hayner and the gang are doing?"

Rika then asked, "Well, why don't we go check, Goggle-Prince?"

And like that, everyone teleported to Twilight Town. Once there they made their way to the Train Common, but then they saw a young boy dressed like a wizard running away, saying, "H-help! The sandlot! It's Seifer! Somebody please help us!"

Then the kid, whose name was Vivi, ran passed our heroes and Sora said, "Sounds like we've got trouble!"

Rika rolled her eyes, then she sarcastically asked, "No, really? What was your first clue, Airhead?"

Then Takato said, "Let's move it!" And like that, the gang headed for the sandlot. Once there, the gang saw Seifer, Rai, and Fuu, all knocked out, and surrounded by Nobodies, Dusks, to be precise.

Then Drake said, "Well, there's the welcoming committee."

Then Seifer slowly started getting up, but that was when Takato stepped in front of him, Keyblades in both hands, then he said, "We'll take it from here."

"You just focus on getting to safety." Replied Sora.

Then Takato charged at one of the Dusks, both Keyblades raised, then just before he struck, he circled around the Nobody, confusing it, and then proceeded to unload a large cases of beat down, onto the Nobody.

But then more and more Nobodies started showing up. One was different, one looked like it had a well-muscled, bronze-colored upper body, with thin upper arms, it looked mean and powerful, according to the Scan ability, it was called a 'Berzerker' and it had a massive claymore for a weapon, or possibly a massive hammer.

And boy, these things were tough to beat, they would spin around in circles trying to catch our heroes off guard, but if blocked, they would drop their weapons, allowing Jeri to deal some well deserved payback, she then took the weapon, slid it across the ground towards the knocked out berzerker, then proceeded to defeat the Nobody with it's own weapon.

Then, once all the Nobodies were defeated, a voice called out, "Impressive."

Everyone looked around for the source of the voice, then it said, "But that's to be expected, at least, from you, young prince."

Takato turned to his left and saw an Organization member clapping his hands. Then the figure asked, "By the way, have any of you seen a man named Axel? I expect he's here somewhere."

To which Sora scoffed and said, "Like I care."

And Takato glared at them man, because he already knew who was behind the hood, said, "What? Still having problems trying to keep up with Lea, Isa?"

The man, now known as Isa chuckled, then he said, "I should have known that you'd recognise me, your Majesty." To which Isa made a mock bow. Then Isa said, "You see, Axel's no longer acting in our best interest."

Then Goofy asked, "Is he with the Organization, too?"

Takato scoffed and said, "Yeah, and if Lea has run away from your little club, I can only guess that he grew tired of of the Organization's little band of make believe."

Then Rika chuckled and said, "You guys are fighting against each other now? Where have I seen THAT before?"

To which Sora replied with, "Not a very organized Organization…"

Then Isa pointed at Sora and said, "Don't let your guard down. Axel will stop at nothing to turn the both of you into a Heartless."

Then Sora sarcastically said, "Gee, thanks for looking out for us, Isa. But I'm sure we can take care of ourselves just fine."

And Takato said, "Yeah, Isa. And I'd rather take my chances with Lea, then with you and your little boy band." That comment caused the voices in Takato's head to start laughing.

Then Isa said, "Glad to hear it. Axel aside, it would break our hearts to hear something happened to the two of you. Especially you, my prince."

Takato scoffed, "Hearts? As if, Nobodies don't have hearts. Well, not you guys, anyways. Xak and Axel, heh, I bet they're another story." Then everyone looked at Takato in surprise.

But then Isa said, "True, we don't have hearts." Then Isa removed his hood, to reveal a young man with long blue hair, bright orange eyes, and an 'X' shaped scar between his eyes. Then Isa said, "But we remember what it was like. That's what makes us special." Then a dark corridor opened up behind Isa.

Then Goofy asked, "Whaddya mean?"

Then Isa said, "We know very well how to injure a heart. Kids, you just keep on fighting those Heartless." Then Isa looked towards Takato and said, "And my young prince, my name is no longer Isa, it's SaÏx."

Then Sora softly said, "Let's jump in after him!"

Then Donald asked, "How come?"

Then Sora softly said, "I'm not sure, but maybe he'll lead us to the Organization's world."

Then SaÏx said, "Don't be reckless. Do you want to end up like Riku?"

This caused Sora and Takato to ask, "What!?"

Then, Saïx opened his arms, and slowly backed into the darkness, then he was gone. And the portal closed on him.

Then Sora yelled out, "Hey, wait!" Then Sora asked, "What did he mean, end up like Riku?"

That was when Seifer's voice called out, "Hey, how 'bout you punks get out of my town now?" Everyone turned to see Seifer and his crew walking towards them, then he said, "You punks caused enough trouble."

Rika scoffed and said, "Oh, gee. That's the thanks we get for saving your sorry behinds? Maybe next time we'll just allow you guys to be attacked, then."

Then Sora softly said, "Riku…"

Takato placed his hand on Sora's shoulder and said, "We'll find him, just have faith."

Then Donald turned to Seifer and said, "Have it your way! C'mon, guys!"

Then Seifer said, "Hold it!"

Drake folded his arms and asked, "Well, which is it, Seifer? Do you want us out of here, or do you want us to stay? Make up your mind."

Then Seifer held up a trophy with five crystals. One yellow, one red, one blue, one green, and one silver. Then Seifer said, "This goes to the strongest guy in Twilight Town."

Sora pointed to himself, hoping that this made him the strongest, then he smiled and nodded, then he said, "Thanks, but…we don't really need it."

Then Seifer ran passed them, and just gave it to Takato, then smirked a cocky smirk, then he and the others of his gang left.

Takato looked down at the trophy and asked, "Well, where am I going to put this?"

That was when Pence showed up. "Oh! Sora! Takato, Drake! And some new friends!"

Jeri bowed and said, "Hi, my name's Kato Jeri, but please, call me Jeri. The fox is Renamon, and the rabbit is Terriermon."

Pence nodded and said, "I'm Pence."

Drake smiled and asked, "What's up, Pence?"

Pence then asked in a serious voice, "Do any of you happen to know a girl named Kairi?"

Then Sora and Takato asked, "KAIRI!?

Takato then said, "We sure do! She's my sister."

Then Pence stammered and said, "Then you better come to the station!" Everyone then started headed for the Back Ally, hoping to find out more about Kairi.

While they were running, Sora looked towards Takato and asked, "Xak's a Nobody?"

But Takato shook his head, then he said, "Not now. Later."

Rika then asked, "How did you know that was Isa, or Saïx or whatever he wants to call himself?''

Takato sighed and he said, "He was once one of my childhood friends, he and Lea used try to sneak into the castle when we were younger, of course, Aeleus would always be there to send them back outside. And they did it, constantly. Eventually, I ended up meeting them before they decided to sneak inside again, and asked them why they were doing so."

Henry then asked, "Did you ever get an answer from them?"

Takato nodded, then he said, "They said that they've been hearing voices coming from the basement, and I simply told them, that that was where my father and his apprentices did their experiments. But after that, they still kept coming, we hung out every time they got caught. Plus, I had to give them credit, anyone who could sneak past Aeleus, Dilan, and Braig, had my respect."

Jeri asked, "Why would that give you someones respect, Takato?"

Takato chuckled and said, "Well, for one, while Braig only has one good eye, there is very little that he misses. Aeleus is the strong man, and he along with Dilan, were the best guards inside the castle. No one could sneak past those two, and Braig would never let anyone get passed him."

This caused everyone to whistle in amazement, then Rika asked, "But, why did Saïx call you his prince? Did everyone know you were Ansem's son?"

Takato smiled sadly, then he said, "Yeah, they did, but that's not why he knew me. You see, he and Lea, were once my fathers apprentices." This made everyone's eyes widened.

Takato nodded, then he said, "Yeah, but it was only for a year, after that, things get fuzzy. I remember bits and pieces of my past, but there are many things that are still clouded in fog."

Everyone was silent for a while, then Drake placed his hand on Takato's shoulder, then he said, "Listen, dad, don't over think this, try to focus on the present, you can worry about the past later. For right now, we better head to the station."

Takato nodded, then he rubbed his eyes, trying to hide the tears that were beginning to form, then he said, "Yeah, let's get moving."

Once they arrived at the station, they saw Pence already waiting there, then they heard a voice call out, "He-ey!"

There they saw Hayner and Olette running towards them. Then Sora asked, "Hey, so how do you guys know Kairi?"

Then Olette and Hayner shared a look, then they sadly looked down, then they explained that Kairi was here not that long ago. "Kairi was really here!?" Sora asked in surprise.

Hayner nodded, then he said, "Yeah. And…she said she was looking for the two of you."

Then Takato said, "Can you tell us where she is?"

That was when Hayner rubbed the back of his head and he said, "Well…"

***Flashback***

We find our Twilight Town trio telling stories and jokes to Kairi, and Pluto was sitting by her side trying to make her fell more comfortable, and Kairi was telling the gang how Sora risked his own life to save her. Then Olette placed her hands together and said, "What a romantic story!"

Kairi gave Olette a friendly smile, then Pence said, "If you stick around, Sora and Takato are bound to show up."

Hayner nodded and he said, "Yeah, they said that they're coming back."

Kairi nodded with a smile and said, "Okay!"

That was when Axel's voice came from everywhere, "What took you so long, Kairi?" Everyone watched as Axel walked out of a C.O.D. Then he said, "Somehow I just knew you'd be here." Everyone was ready to fight Axel, then he said, "I tell ya, Kairi, you've got a lot of guts, jumping right into the darkness like that. Reminded me of your brother right there."

Axel then started walking up to Kairi, while the other kids tried to take him down, but Axel just brushed them aside, Axel then walked up to Kairi, and grabbed her arm, then he pulled her into the darkness. Then Kairi began struggling to get out of Axel's grip, then she said, "Let go of me! Let go!" But Axel did not let go. And the two walked right into the darkness, with Pluto following right after them.

But Olette could have sworn that Axel said, "Tell Takato that his sister's safe." And just like that, they were gone.

***Back to the present***

Sora took out Kairi's good luck charm and looked at the smiling face, and was in deep thought, then Takato thought, 'Why would Lea kidnap my sister, then tell me that she would be safe?'

That was when Xak spoke up, "I think, Axel is doing to protect her."

'But WHY kidnap her!?' Takato asked, getting frustrated.

Then Sora said, "Kairi."

Then Goofy softly asked, "Ya think it mighta been Axel?"

To which Donald nodded in agreement. Then Hayner said, "Sorry."

Takato shook his head, then he said, "Don't be."

Sora nodded and said, "Yeah, it's not your fault. C'mon, cheer up!" Then Sora sadly said, "Like I can even say that…"

Then Takato put his hand on Sora's shoulder, then he said, "Listen, I may not know what Axel could be planning, but, I know for a fact that he wouldn't hurt Kairi. He's not the kind of person who would hurt someone like Kairi."

Sora turned to Takato and asked, "How can you be so SURE!? For all we know, Axel could be hurting her!"

Takato shook his head, then he said, "Axel was once one of my best friends, and if there is one thing that Lea was known for, was protecting his friends. He wouldn't try to harm Kairi. Most likely, he would put her in a place she couldn't escape from, but in a place where she could be protected."

Then Sora stomped his feet, and waved his arms back as he said, "I gotta help Kairi!"

This caused Goofy, who was holding the trophy that Seifer gave them, to drop said trophy, causing the crystals to fall out. The red, yellow, and green ones went to Hayner, Olette, and Pence, in that order, while Sora picked up the blue one, and Takato picked up the silver one.

"That was close!" Said Pence.

Sora and Takato looked at their crystals, then they pointed them over the sun, and watched as they sparkled brightly. Then Goofy took out the blue stone that was in the pouch that the King gave them, and covered the sun with it.

And Jeri took out the silver one from the pouch. And everyone who had a stone, was pointing them at the sun.

Then, for a few moments, Sora and Takato's forms were replaced with Roxas and Xak. That was when Donald's voice asked, "Sora!? Takato!?"

And Goofy asked, "Sora! Takato! Are you two okay?"

Then Sora and Takato seemed to snap out of whatever kind of trance they were in, and they asked, "Huh? What…?"

That was when the two stones in the boys hands started glowing, and began levitating out of their hands. They both nodded, and Takato aimed his Zero's Vaccine Reverse in front of him, while Sora aimed his Kingdom Key in front of him.

Then they began glowing with two symbols underneath them. A kings crown underneath Sora. And the Zero Unit underneath Takato. Then both boys were transported to the world of light and darkness. Then the crystals began glowing, and shot two beams of light to reveal the Keyhole, Sora and Takato both nodded, then, in unison, twirled their Keyblades and aimed them at the Keyhole, firing two beams of light and sealing this worlds Keyhole.

Then Pence asked, "Wh-what just happened?"

Then Sora said, "A new road is open. And Kairi and Riku are waiting somewhere along it."

Then Olette said, "You'd better hurry, then."

"You comin' back?" Asked Hayner.

Takato smiled and said, "Promise!"

***Meanwhile where nothings gather***

SaÏx appeared onto one of thirteen chairs in the white circular room and turned to the man on the highest chair, and said, "I passed on the message as you so desired. I told the young kids to keep defeating the Heartless."

Then the man said, "Good. Not only have you the power to inflict pain, you also have the power to plant seeds of doubt in one''s receptive heart. Sora and the other kids will soon begin to doubt themselves. It will cause them to hesitate, and that hesitation will turn to anger. That anger will fuel them to get rid of their apprehension and move forward. They will pave the way for the future we desire."

Then SaÏx asked, "There's something I've meant to ask."

Then the cloaked figure turned to SaÏx and said, "About Axel." To which SaÏx nodded. "The poor fool." The figure said. How long will he keep chasing the illusion of friendship, when he himself lacks emotion? Trying so hard to retrieve what he has lost, when it may never have existed in the first place. He deserves nothing more than our pity."

***Back with our heroes on the Gummi Ship***

Sora sadly sighed, then he said, "The King, Riku-and now we've lost Kairi again, too."

Then Donald said, "Don't be sad!"

Takato nodded in agreement and Goofy said, "Donald's right, you know! Why, you kids are the keys that connect everything!"

Then Sora sadly said, "So it's all OUR fault."

Then Goofy said, "Gawrsh, I didn't mean that. Just do what comes natural to ya and we're sure to find 'em."

Then Takato said, "You said it!"

Then Sora smiled and said, "Thanks, guys."

That was when everyone noticed that Hollow Bastion was being cloaked in darkness. Then Chip said, "Oh no! Hollow Bastion! It's all covered in darkness!"

And Dale said, "You're right, Chipper! I wonder what's goin' on."

"Guys! We better hurry and check it out right away!" Exclaimed Chip.

Thechaosmaster: And there you have it. As I said, short chapter, but entertaining nonetheless.

Red: Agreed. But next comes one of the longest parts of the story.

Chaos: Yeah, and one of the next chapters might included a certain Digimon finally returning after years of being missing, but, enough wasting time. I have a huge chapter to write, later.
