I re-read the HP original stories book. Thinking why Percy described so annoying.
To be frankly, Percy is relatable to my own experiences.
I was scored high iq (not such as great as i describe Percy), but outcasted due my inability to adapt with my classmates (and their cruel jealousy).
What is most resembled between me and the character Percy JKR made is, people oftenly judging us with their own perceiptions.
Percy's annoyance then, is what people surround him perceipting, and that might be not a truest of his self.
I put the glasses part, base on my own experience. I have bad eyesight to the point oftently not recognizing people face, and after i got my first glasses, it oftenly slided down, and I oftently unconsiously lift my nose up rather to adjust it, and they called me pompous girl for this. (and i know i am not a pompous girl).
Well, people may hate Percy, and JKR may create Percy as bad as she like (on one theory even Percy's name origin is so horribly made), and while in this Fanfic land, i have my liberty to make Percy as lovable as possible, that make me oftently heartbreaked on attemp to bend him to be a worse character. I almost crying to make the separation part as i engaged with their pure friendship cuteness.
I write the stories, base on the book character, with my own reimagining visualization. I'm not saying Cryst Ranking not handsome, i just try to make Percy to be more "weasley," more fangirl able, so i visualizing him more charming. i recasting him.
And of course at other time may be i will write another stories oppositely, lets say turning Percy into most insufarable bratt ever, thats the fanfic liberation.

And i still trying to find a volunteer English editor. I know my English is terrible.
