Central City

S.T.A.R. Labs

Caitlin and Cisco joined with Barry and an ally of theirs. After running tests on Wally West's speed. Barry, Cisco, Caitlin and an Earth-19 counterpart of Harrison Wells were in the main rooms, discussing about taking some elaborate chances, notioned by Harrison. Exhibiting virtual images, on screens. Images of the future of S.T.A.R. Labs. To transition it into a museum fuelled with things that'd make its appearance to the public, to set sights in. Barry wasn't buying it, though he understand Harrison was valuing his assistance very well to the team. S.T.A.R. Labs doesn't need its fame. It needs its use as aid for Barry's crusade.

Before Harrison was about to go any further to depth, an alarm alerted them about a presence of a particular thing they are not familiar with.

"Was that the satellite?", Cisco asked, worryingly.

Caitlin nodded, recognising its sound-relation, as do Cisco, though he hoped it wasn't.

"I hope that wasn't the satellite". Latter checked over the screens, hoping they're not facing some existentialist threat or a meteor crashing into their surface. They've got enough headaches. Alchemy and Savitar.

Barry, Caitlin, and Harrison overlook the display-screens, same ones Harrison used to project his envision of S.T.A.R. Labs. A projectile of unknown species entering their atmosphere.

"What is that?", Barry questioned. "Meteor?".

"It's not moving at a rapid pace", Cisco shot back. He was still made at him about his mistake, still not forgiving him of his last performance. And suffering from mental health, after a loss. "And it's spreading itself to many nations".

Barry, learning of this upon possible threat, dives into his Flash suit, leaving the labs, to take a better look, in the naked eye.

Barry head over to the land of waste, precise from the estimated coordinates from Cisco.

"What the hell is that?", Flash questions. His bare eyes could perceive a swarm of flies. As they came closer, Barry ascertained that they're not tiny-pints like flies. They large, armoured, and featureless demonic. "Guys...".

"What is it?", Cisco questioned, from the comms.

"...it's..."

"Barry?". The channel is breaking down.

"I can't describe it...", Flash addressed, ahead overlooking the skies.

"Hey Barry...come in...do you read me?". Barry is losing his connection to Cisco. Static shocks can be heard from his comms.

Barry moves his hand on this right-ear helmet. "Guys?...". He advances forward, trying to take a closer look on what he's looking at.

Flyers slowly deplane, closing the gap between them and the Flash.

The Flash slid one, dodging few flyers, only to be knocked behind. Barry rolls over, lying on grounds. All he could do is watch them scatter across the world. He has no power to take them all, and he finally ticked a thought. "...Aliens!", he exclaimed.

The night cycle shifted into day. News reporters bound an announcement regarding a possible chance aliens arrived in their atmosphere. As proof on all buildings in town in Central City were torn down. Innocent people have been killed. Though they weren't allowed to access the insides of buildings that were demolished, from a threat.

Lyla was having a talk with a lady, as he wanted to offer her assistance to countering their threat. In which the lady responded it isn't accurate, implying that what they're facing is a the faces of an extra-terrestrial that will howl the world in despair. She furthered it up, by requesting Lyla to go back to Star City, as he surmised that they can handle it without A.R.G.U.S.'s help. Lyla was pointed as director of A.R.G.U.S., after Amanda Waller's death.

Lyla wasn't buying into letting it go, and sought to find a way. As she walked off, Flash sped indication to Lyla's point, which she perceived.

"Lyla what's is this?", the Flash pursued for information. "I saw those things-".

"Those things?", Lyla followed. "What did they look like?".

Barry compared the things, he saw, to those that are like humanoid wasps.

Lyla bought her mind into it, believing Barry. "What else did you see?".

"Nothing much aside from learning there are thousands", he said. "Possibly millions Lyla!".

Lyla briefs behind, looking at a man, in suit, talking with a lady.

"Meet me at S.T.A.R.S Labs", Lyla requested. "I'll tell you whatever I know of them".

As Lyla took off, Barry inhaled this breath, letting it all go. Feeling like he's facing a storm that surpasses his own lightning.

S.T.A.R. Labs

Lyla arrived in S.T.A.R. Labs, presenting files of notes they've covered so far from last night. The whole Team Flash were there. Barry, Joe, Iris, Wally, Harrison, Cisco, and Caitlin.

Director of A.R.G.U.S. handed the same files to her allies. Pictures of blurred figures they've taken from specialised cameras.

"So what are they?", Barry questioned. "Hybrid World War Z Zombies, invading our planet?".

"That is something the USA had no clear encounter with?", Lyla addressed.

"When was the last time you faced an existentialist threat?", Iris questioned.

"The fifties", Lyla anwered.

"Let me get this straight", Joe begun. Everyone eyed over Joe. "We're facing a threat we've never heard, and they just attacked us without any reason. No reconnaissance. They just chose to step into our atmosphere?".

"Unfortunately we haven't verified of their reasons. They've ignored all attempts for us to communicate with them. Nor have we found out who their leader is", Lyla addressed. "Though we're determined to find out".

"As if we had enough trails we left in our hands in Central City", said Joe. Team Flash know who Joe is referring to. Savitar and Alchemy.

"We need to do something", Wally declared.

"We are

"Nearly every member in state in the UN is in tox and talks to adverse the threat as we speak", Lyla talks. "Action is being taken".

"So wait?", Iris proclaimed. "You want us to just sit this one out". Iris asserts this notion as an offend to them, as they've got metahumans that can be helping hands.

"These things I saw. Those mutated humanoid flies. I've obscured their performance. Their speed is relentless, Lyla", Barry spoke. "If they decide to attack, I doubt any military will have an edge to creating a path against them. I doubt they would even beat them with big guns".

"Neither could you. Not by yourself anyway. Not even with the team from Star City". Lyla spreads her eyesight over all of them. "Just let us handle this. For now".

Barry nodded, accepting her request to persuade him to hold the fort.

"I will be in touch", Lyla announced, after shutting down all research embedded in S.T.A.R. Labs's screens, and all the files.

Team Flash waited for Lyla's departure, which went successful.

"So the plan isn't just to stay still does it?", Wally asked.

"No", Barry said.

"Barry", Iris called. "You heard Lyla. You can't do this alone".

"I don't plan to", Barry revealed. In his head, he has variety of allies he can ask. Allies from Star City. Time-guardian allies. And his noble friend, with his girlfriend, from another world.

A/N: If you have watched the Invasion event occured in crossovers between The Flash, Arrow, Supergirl, and DC's Legends of Tomorrow. Then you can easily tell this is straight an adaptation scene from those. Although I've altered a few things. I find the Dominator invasion to be pathetic. Though the CW actually did a great set up. Using Flashpoint as the main goal that caused all of it.

In this story, it's way different. We're not repeating the same thing. Btw, I've never in story-creations got myself so pumped. I don't know, maybe it's the sense that I packed a bit of punch of words in dialogues, to make it close to fitting the scene. Dialogues I created, at least. You may know which species I was referring to as I described it as humanoid flies. You may not know of it, but you soon will from a known character.
