Hi everyone! I hope you are all doing well!
Thank you for taking time to read!
Thanks to my 2 friends who put this idea in my head after the 'Theo with the good hair' episode…lol so I'm combining jealous Billy and that lovely couch in the office that is begging to be used...lol
Let me get to it.
Billy Abbott was feeling tense as he walked back into the building. He had been to 3 meetings already. That he didn't mind, he thrived on adrenaline after all but one of them being with Victoria and that had as usual turned heated.
As much as he had wanted to run her story, there just wasn't any evidence and for all the searching and prodding they had done, nothing had come up. Victor as always had hid his tracks really well. Victoria was still optimistic but it was frustrating because he had really wanted to run the story and put Chance Com on the map.
Mindlessly punching the elevator button, he turned to his phone glad he was alone not in the mood to speak to anyone. Answering a couple texts he would have otherwise answered end of day as they were not urgent, the elevator dinged signalling he had reached his destination.
He was glad it was lunch time. he could take a much needed break. He walked out and made a beeline for his office which was just across the elevator before he paused as the sound of laughter reached his ears.
He knew that laughter from anywhere.
He missed that laugh especially when it was once directed his way.
He wondered what had made her laugh like that. Changing direction, he followed the sound, getting louder as he got closer and then he saw them stopping him cold for a moment.
Amanda was standing in the corridor, leaning against the wall looking gorgeous in the all too short tight clothes she seemed to favour now (he was so sure she was doing it to torture him) this time an above the knee print skirt showing off her wonderful legs, black button down short sleeve blouse and black heels her with her hair let down in its usual. In her hands she had a folder clutched to her chest.
What made him narrow his eyes was Theo who was standing way too close to her in his opinion, his one arm holding the wall, also smiling and looking way too smug for his liking. What the hell was that kid playing at?
He watched as he leaned just barely toward her and whispered something making her laugh her hand coming to rest on his shoulder pushing him slightly.
That's it.
He walked toward them with a sense of purpose.
Amanda was laughing at what Theo had said (she couldn't believe he had publicly asked out his teacher as a dare) when she suddenly felt the air change. Theo had suddenly quietened and straightened up.
Turning her head she realised why. Billy was walking toward them. The first thing she noted, like every time she saw him, was how handsome he looked.
He was in a grey suit, tailored to fit his tall lean frame perfectly, paired with a light blue button down shirt with no tie the top 2 buttons unbuttoned, brown belt matching his shoes. His hair was sleeked back. He looked like a model.
Then she noted the look on his face and could see he was not pleased.
Slowly she removed her hand from Theo's shoulder and braced herself. Billy had made his thoughts about Theo clear. He did not like the guy one bit and it was more than just seeing himself in the young man.
Now though, he looked ready to kill someone.
"What is going on here?" asked Billy as he got to them making a point to keep his eyes on Theo.
"Um, sir…I was just giving Miss Sinclair some files." said Theo nervously. There were very few things that rattled him and Billy Abbott was one of them. Ever since he came for his first presentation, he got the sense that the man didn't like him.
He took that as fuel to try and please him and show him that he was good and deserved the spot they gave him but still, the man was cold to him.
"And that constitutes standing there flirting with her disrupting everyone's work and slacking off during work hours?"
"We were not flirting and it is lunch time." said Amanda her eyes narrowed. She was not going to let him attack them like that.
"And I don't care what you think you were doing." snapped Billy masking a wince at the flash of anger that crossed her eyes then turned his eyes back on Theo satisfied at the worried look that the young man wore. "In case you forgot Mr Vanderway, this is a workplace. As long as you are in this building you will hold yourself accordingly. Have I made myself clear?"
"Yes sir."
"Now follow me to my office. Now." He said ending with one last glare at the young man before he turned to Amanda clearly seeing the anger in her eyes but pushed it away and with a curt voice he said, "I want the contracts I sent to you for review on my desk by end of day." At that he turned and stalked to his office.
Amanda looked at his retreating back anger filling her at the slight dig at the 'work assignment' and the way he had spoken to her. She turned to Theo whose face was white.
"I best go." said Theo with a shakiness to his voice.
"Yeah." agreed Amanda and watched as he followed Billy.
Shaking her head, she walked back to her office. She shut the door behind herself then threw the file she held in her hand on the table before she began to pace across the room trying to let out the frustration she was feeling.
Billy Abbott was the most infuriating man she had ever met. What the hell! Who gave him the right to speak to her that way? She honestly didn't know what had got into him.
Ok scratch that. She knew exactly what his problem was.
Theo.
At first, when they first hired him, she thought he was joking. I mean the man was gorgeous, rich not to mention influential and had no need to be jealous ( a term he fervently denied) of Theo but it soon became apparent he was.
It was like a switch. Every time she so much as looked his way and god forbid give him a compliment, Billy would make a snarky comment or voice his disapproval.
She found that particularly annoying. It's not like he wasn't doing his own 'flirting' with Lily (and no she wasn't flirting with Theo). He talked to her, laughed with her and even had lunch with her. So what? She couldn't do the same?
Her mind took her back to when she had walked into Billy's office and found Lily inside. Billy had been sitting on the couch and Lily was perched on the arm rest looking at something on his phone. It turned out they were looking at a video of Katie doing cartwheels but still, the position was hardly professional and that wasn't the only time.
She sighed.
She didn't know how to feel about his interactions with Lily and it bothered her.
She was no longer with Nate having broken things off on their last date. Things had been going fine with them if fine meant going excruciatingly slow and boring.
They had been to a number of non-memorable lunches and 2 dinners which were all spent talking about work (she knew more about Elena that Nate at this point) and couldn't take it anymore.
She wasn't really into the guy. He was nice, handsome but that's about it his personality was dry not to mention he ended up coming up short in comparison to Billy. Curse Billy for showing her the thrill of letting go and taking chances.
And that was the problem and she didn't know what to do about it.
He had just managed to affect her, get under her skin in ways no one else had and seeing him almost every day didn't help.
When she had accepted the job, it had seemed a better option that working with Devon and have him ogling her resemblance to his dead wife. That was not appealing. And out of all the other job offers, Chancellor had been the best for her. A very generous salary and allowances along with a challenge that she had so missed. She didn't regret that bit.
Working with Billy was the problem given the state of the relationship. They had been strangers, acquaintances, friends, very close friends, almost lovers and now co-workers. That was quite a roller coaster and now, she didn't know where they stood.
They talked, they were friendly but that was it. She would go to Nate and he went to…Lily? She knew he was meeting up with Victoria for the Adam story but knew it was not romantic. He made it clear he was not going back there but now there was Lily and she didn't like it a bit.
Is that how he felt when he saw her with Theo? Or when she had been with Nate? If so, what did it mean? And did she want to be in a relationship with him if he wanted it? the answer was a clear yes. it had always been only she had been and was still scared.
Still confused, she sat back on her desk and decided to get back to work starting with the contracts Billy had forwarded her. They were quite a lot and her anger at him soon returned. He knew how much work that would be and yet he said end of day.
Determined to have them done, she soon sunk into her work.
XXX
Billy was sitting on his desk reading through the Newman file. They were still working on integrating the new acquisition into the mission and objectives of Chancellor and with Newman being a huge division, the integration was going to take time and it was a delicate process.
The knock on the door provided him with an excuse to look up from his work. "Come in."
He expected to see Theo come in with the work he had assigned the man. He knew he was exerting the man and Lily was soon going to be on his ass about it but he wasn't sorry. Maybe if he was too busy, he wouldn't flirt with his woman.
And his woman just walked in…ok she wasn't his woman (in his head she was) but he wanted her to be. He wanted so badly but he had no idea where to begin given where they stood.
Seeing the look on her face, he immediately felt remorse at the way he had spoken to her. He had meant to go to her office to apologise but work got in the way.
"I have finished with the contracts sir." said Amanda setting the folder down, her tone cold, detached, profession and he felt his heart fall. He had never heard that tone directed to him before and it hurt.
As she made to leave, Billy stood up and said, "Amanda…"
Amanda turned and faced him her eyes hard. She was not going to make this easy for him.
"I'm sorry." He said.
"For what? Lashing out at me and Theo when we were just talking during a lunch break?" she said glaring at him emphasizing on 'lunch break'
"Amanda…" said Billy remorse filled.
"No Billy! This has to stop! I don't know what the problem you have with Theo is and don't you dare say you have no problem with him. You snap at him every chance you get and you pile load of unnecessary work on him."
"So what? He told you all this? He is reporting to you now?" said Billy not liking that she was spending too much time with him.
"See?" said Amanda throwing her hands in defeat as he proved her point. "You just change any time his name is mentioned. We hired him because he is the best at what he does and if you could only get off whatever it is you are riding, you would see it."
"I do see it." said Billy walking across the table to stand in front of her.
"Then what the hell is your problem because I am not going to take it especially if it means I get caught up in whatever alpha male insertion you are attempting!"
"You want to know what my problem is? It's you."
"Me?" said Amanda with surprise. Now that she hadn't expected.
"Yes. You flirt with him."
"You mean like you flirt with lily?" countered Amanda.
"Lily?" said Billy in surprise. "I don't. She is just my friend."
"And so is Theo." said Amanda pointedly. "That still doesn't explain your attitude for him. Even if I was flirting with him, which I wasn't so don't even go there, then so what?"
"Because I want it to be me!" shouted Billy surprising both of them. Amanda looked at him eyes wide.
For Billy it was like the dam had finally broke. He just couldn't stop. "I want it to be me that you look at! I want to be the one who makes you laugh, who gets to give you compliments, who gets to stand in the damn corridor and joke with you!"
"Billy…" said Amanda her heart beating fast at his words.
Billy walked even closer to her and said, "I want to be able to compliment your outfit without seeming weird like how gorgeous you look right now in that skirt (Amanda felt her face go hot as she blushed), I want to be able to get coffee for you in the morning, take you out for lunch, listen to how your day went despite us working together. I want it to be me Amanda and instead it's Nate and Theo."
"I broke up with Nate." said Amanda staring at him not knowing how else to respond.
"What?" said Billy in surprise. Now that he didn't know and Lily made sure to feed him every little bit about her relationship with Nate.
"It wasn't working out." she said. "And Theo is my just my friend." said Amanda. And taking a breath, she decided to take the chance. For once, she was going to be like Billy. She was going to throw caution to the wind, not think things in her head and go for what she really wanted. She walked one step stopping right in his personal space. "I want that too. I want you to tell me how nice my outfit looks, I want you to smile at me, tell me lame jokes that make me laugh anyway, go out for lunch with you, to talk to you like we used to."
"What are you saying?" said Billy not daring to bring his hopes up in case this was a bad joke or dream.
Amanda's hand rose to his cheek, feeling the stub of his beard against his smooth cheek and looking into his eyes she said, "I'm saying that, I want you Billy Abbott."
Billy took a moment looking into her beautiful eyes, searching them for any doubt and when he found none, his lips descended on hers as his hand went around her waist pulling her in.
The kiss was unlike the one they had had in her hotel room those months back. This was one hot, passionate and left no room for misinterpretation. He wanted her. He wanted her so badly and to know that she wanted him too…
Amanda's went around his neck while the other rested on his chest feeling the thump of his heartbeat which was beating so fast. She was glad for her heels which gave her some height over his tall frame.
She moaned as pleasure filled her as his hands began trailing her body touching her wherever he could while he kissed her lips and neck. God he was soo good. Just like how she remembered. She melted into his arms giving as good as he gave, her hand pulling his head even closer to her.
Billy couldn't stop. Everything about her was invading his senses from her scent, the sweet taste of her lips, her smooth skin and the way she responded to him with her little moans and sighs. God he had dreamt of this since he had first kissed her, the opportunity to do it again.
He couldn't stop touching her from her back, her waist, her ass, her stomach up to her breasts. He wanted her so bad and it was clear she wanted him too as she began to frantically open his shirt before it fell down and she began touching his skin, her small hands lighting little fires on his skin.
He could swear he had never been as hard as he was right in this moment. Not wanting to leave her presence, he manoeuvred them toll he got to the door and locked it before he turned her around and leaned her against it, kissing her passionately while working on the small button of her blouse taking it off leaving her with a simple black bra.
Amanda trembled as Billy's hands caused havoc in her body. She couldn't get enough. She needed him from deep within, just like she had the morning she had kissed him. She moaned when Billy hit a particular sensitive spot on her neck
Everything else disappeared in their minds including where they were. They were consumed with each other and the passion they felt for each other. At that moment, not even a tornado could stop them.
Billy walked them from the door kissing her before he lowered her on the couch. They lay there kissing, touching, stroking the flames of passion until they reached heights they couldn't control anymore and they needed release.
Billy switched their positions till she was sitting in his lap, her skirt bunched around her waist the only piece of clothing on her. Billy's pants were lowered and with one thrust they both moaned as he entered her groaning as he felt her tight pussy squeeze him.
Amanda moaned as he filled her up and she began to move with his hands on her butt helping her set the pace. She leaned down and captured his lips in desperate passion as she felt her orgasm fast approach. And when he hit a particular spot inside her, once, twice, thrice, she froze as orgasmic waves coursed through her before her body trembled enhanced by his continued thrusts.
Billy could safely say he had never seen anything sexier than her coming on top of him and just seeing her reaction made him reach his high spilling deep inside of her.
They were silent, the only thing that could be hear was their breathing as they tried to regulate it.
"I can't believe we did this…here." said Amanda once her senses returned.
"Don't tell me you regret it." said Billy squeezing her a little tighter fearing she was about to panic.
"No. Never." Said Amanda so sure of that. She didn't regret a single moment of what had happened. "Do you?"
"Yes but only because of the venue. I would have loved to wine and dine you and do the whole rose petals scene before we did this." said Billy smiling before kissing her lips softly.
"Hmm…sounds good." said Amanda picturing the romantic scene. "You can still do it."
"And I will."
"We still need to talk."
"We do,"
"And you will stop being mean to Theo." Said Amanda trailing his handsome face with her finger.
"Only if you stop laughing at his jokes."
"Billy…" said Amanda giggling.
As Billy made to respond, they both froze when someone tried the door and knocked once twice then went away.
"We need to get out of here." Said Billy looking at her pointedly.
"We do." said Amanda and staring at each other, they burst into laughter at the whole situation before they began to get dressed.
There you go
I hope I did this right. Just wanted Theo to be catalyst to these 2 to finally get it on.
As usual leave a comment and tell me what you think.
