A few days had passed since Minami and Yuki went to Ayame's but the peace didn't last for long, Masuru seemed more than willing to come over to Shigure's now that his family's history was sort of known and Kisa brought over a DVD of a show she wanted to watch. Minami never did understand how there could be a anime within an anime, but it was possible with Mogeta.

"D...DAMN! This opponent is really tough…" The main protagonist, who was a child with large boxing gloves on.

"Ww wi…" Mogeta said with a smile on his face. The villain laughed ominously.

"You're become stunned by my awesome power…" The villain said and the protagonist shielded away in horror.

"How could you be some immature… putting all your family's pressures over me…" Boxing Boy said.

"BUT IF I GO HOME LIKE THIS I WILL BE REJECTED BY MY FAMILY….!" The villain said.

"Geez this show is messed up." Minami muttered as she watched on in boredom. Though Kisa and Masuru eye's were glued to the tv in interest.

"The cartoon itself has a lot of problems…" Yuki said beside her. "Who even made this?"

"Morning…" Shigure yawned as he opened the sliding door into the living room.

"Morning." Minami said.

"Shigure… It's already evening. Shouldn't you really organize your daily lifestyle better?' Yuki scolded with narrowed eyes.

"I am a writer, so it doesn't really matter when I sleep…" Shigure said happily and put his hand on Kisa's forehead. "Eh…? This girl looks a lot like Kisa-chan… Uncle will buy you some sweets…"

"You sound like a creep." Minami stated and Yuki nodded.

"Either your lack of sleep seems to have boggled your mind, or are you really just the irresponsible father we think you are…" Yuki said and Minami smiled amused.

"Yuki's his usual cold self as always…" Shigure said and hugged Kisa as imaginary ice floated around him. These things were normal in this world, the scenes were Kyo and Yuki would have lighting in their eyes or cat ears would pop out of their heads, it was true and no one seemed to care. Shigure looked over at Masuru who was near Minami. "Minami, it seems like your son is still here."

"He's not my kid." Minami said and Shigure pretended he couldn't hear her.

"Eh? What are you people watching?" He asked.

"A cartoon… it's very interesting. Everyone's talking about it in school… so I borrowed it… I've seen it before, and the movie's quite good!" Kisa said happily and Shigure smiled.

"So after that incident in school… what happened?" he asked.

"... Mm. I'm trying my best. My mother… and my brothers and sisters… all…. Supporting and encouraging me, so I will do my best.." Kisa said with a happy smile and faint blush on her face.

"Kisa, you're so adorable." Minami said and put her arms around her and Kisa leaned over.

"I'm sorry about your hands, Uncle Hatori said that they're going to scar…." Kisa said.

"It's okay. Just don't bite anyone else okay?" Minami asked and Kisa nodded.

"Adopted another child have you?" Shigure asked and Minami rolled her eyes.

"Ha. Ha." She said.

"Bursting with love." Yuki said as Masuru moved Kisa away so he could be closer. "I wonder how you'll handle the other one."

"Other one what?" Minami asked and the door opened as Kyo walked in and took off his bag.

"Ah! The benevolent youth is back." Shigure said.

"I'm home." Kyo said. "But I'm hungry."

"Welcome back." Minami said. "There's stuff in the fridge."

"Cool." Kyo said and looked over at the two kids whose arms were around her waist. "What's this? Are these little brats really planning on staying here tonight?" Kisa blinked in surprise while Masuru completely ignored him.

"Ah…" Kisa whispered.

"Hey.. You should watch what you say!" Yuki scolded with a sigh.

"AH?! Don't tell me what to do! I can say whatever I want!" Kyo said.

"Kyo no dinner." Minami said and he blinked and his jaw dropped.

"Wha-" He sighed. "Er- fine whatever, sorry brats." He said. "Uh.. the scars too sorry." Eyes trailed across her wounds and Minami tensed for a moment and smiled.

"No problem." She said and he frowned and ruffled his hair. He took something out of his bag and tossed it to her, which Minami managed to catch. It was a box that was nicely wrapped and Kyo's cheeks flushed for a moment as he looked way.

"Since I already missed White Day and that other thing happened…" His eyes trailed over to Kisa and Masuru who looked on confused. Minami opened the box and saw it was a butterfly ring with pink jewls on them.

"You're getting married?" Kisa asked cutely and Kyo turned bright red.

"The wonders of teenage years…" Shigure said with a smile on his face.

"WHAT?!" Kyo yelled and he began to defend himself from everyone.

"Apparently jewelry's my thing." Minami muttered and placed on the ring. It was pretty cute. Eventually they turned in for the night and once the morning hit, Kisa and Masuru walked to school, they went to different schools but were in the same direction. Minami had a feeling that a certain bratty preteen was going to make an appearance soon. School went down as usual and Minami walked alone to her work. "Too early." As she passed by a lone boot. "Who leaves a shoe on the ground?"

"Hey… My shoe… pick it up for me." A voice called and Minami looked up. There was a young boy with an average build, though he was quite tall for his age. He had a fake looking smile on his face with short, spiked brown hair that stuck out at all angles. With an additional cowlick that stuck out from his head. His bangs were similar to a leaf, which mostly covered his forehead. He wore a dark green shirt and pants, that were neatly tailored. He didn't have any accessories on and was pretty cute for a twelve year old. "So pick it up already!"

"Don't you have hands?" Minami asked with a single raised eyebrow. "Can't you pick it up yourself?"

"What if I can't move ever thought about that?" He asked with a dropped smile, he had catlike eyes that were rather narrow.

"What if I'm injured?" Minami asked and his frown completely dropped.

"You look fine."

"So do you." Minami said. "If you want someone to get something for you, you could at least be polite about it and not a brat."

"Oh wow you must think you're special." Hiro said and he crossed his arms. "Just because I'm younger than you I have to be polite. Yeah right, pick it up." Minami did exactly that and moved to give it to him but tossed it farther down the road. "What the hell!" He dropped down and landed easily on his feet. "Do you know how much that even cost?! I could make you pay for that!"

"I don't see anyone else around." Minami said as he looked at her in the eyes. The stupid kid was already at her height, he was about the same height as Momiji. "You have no proof."

"There's camera's everywhere!" Hiro yelled. "I could get someone to get it on video!"

"Yeah like someone's going to listen to some little middle schooler." Minami said. "Why don't you go run back to your parents, I'm sure they're already ashamed of you." Was it bad to argue with a child, yes, but did Minami have some steam to take off, yes she did. She walked away and he followed beside her.

"I took the effort to come all this way to see you, and you don't even thank me?! Instead you get an attitude and argue with a kid, how mature." Hiro said annoyed.

"I thought you said I wasn't special? Yet you came all this way to come and see me, I'm touched." Minami said.

"You're not special! You must be an idiot or slow because you haven't even noticed yet!" He said.

"Considering I'm at a pretty good standing in my class, in a foreign country, I think I'm not stupid." Minami said and she stopped and put her face right in his and smiled. "What? You have a little crush on me? Isn't that why boys your age act like spoiled brats?"

"Wha- Why would I even -" He started to say but Minami continued forward.

"Let me guess you're the sheep right? What a shame, they're so cute and nice unlike you." She said and his face turned very red.

"Ay… I knew I shouldn't have been so stupid, to waste my effort to come look for ou. Looks like you're buying me lunch!" Hiro said and she ignored him. "What are you ignoring me? I waste my time to come over here, and you don't even buy me a meal! Do you even know how far away my house is from here? Are you just trying to take advantage of an innocent child like me? How could you sink so low, won't even treat a kid to a meal. I despise selfish people liek you!"

He grabbed her bag and Minami held onto it angrily. "Your bag is filthy! Looks like it's bad quality to! My name is Sohma Hiro. I believe won't be seeing each other ever again, so I'll let you know my name! Buy! Thanks for your useless time!" With a yank he grabbed the bag and took a running start, after a few minutes of them chasing each other, he was too far ahead.

"Darn it." Minami muttered. "I don't have the lungs for this."

"Lungs for what?" A familiar voice asked and Momiji looked over at her.

"Your bratty cousin took my bag." Minami said angrily. In a second, Momiji told her that he probably ran off to the dojo and he said he'd get someone to make him act better. After about ten minutes, Minami made it to the dojo where Kyo was weaning his uniform.

"WATCH ME PUMMEL YOU INTO THE SKY!" Kyo's voice yelled. Minami snatched the bag back immediately as Kyo held him back.

"You… What happened to you?" Kyo asked as she collapsed on the ground.

"I… Hate… running…" Minami gasped, taking in the air.

"How did you manage to find me!" Hiro yelled.

"What have you dont ths time, Hiro?!" Kyo yelled.

"Huh? What do you take me for? How could you ever make it up to me if you wrongly accused me of such a crime? Besides, all I did was take a cheap bag."

"THAT'S CALLED STEALING!" Kyo yelled as Hiro pushed himself away.

"She's the one who was weak enough to let me take it." Hiro said. "She's the one who acted so rude when I came over there to met her. She's just some stupid dumb girl."

"'Dumb girl'...?!" Kyo yelled and grabbed Hiro by his collar. "Stop fooling around Hiro.. If you want your ugly face intact, then I advice that you apologize to her."

"If you're not afraid that I'll sue you for child abuse, then go right ahead!" Hiro smirked.

"You.." Kyo said.

"Hiro…" A quiet voice said and Minami looked over and saw Momiji with Kisa standing in the doorway. "Hiro… Did you take Onee-chan's… bag…?"

"I see… this is all Momij's doing." Hiro said annoyed as Kyo released him and Kisa walked over to him.

"Hiro… Don't do things that she dones't like.. You mustn't do this.. Hiro…" Kisa aid.

"... You're as dumb as she is…." Hiro said.

"Hiro… Why did you say that…." Kisa said sadly as tears fell from her eyes. "... Why… Would you do something that would make everyone unhappy… I don't like that…" Hiro's face turned red in embarrassment and anger.

"'Onee-chan' this. 'Onee-chan' that… Talking about that dumb girl. You're always… Always… Like with the video tape, the instant you get it you run off to watch it with that stupid girl… But I was the one who lent it to you… I… I wanted to watch it with you…" Hiro said as Kyo handed her some water.

"Why does this feel like a K-drama?" Minami muttered annoyed.

"...? But when you lent it to me… you…" Kisa said. "Didn't say…"

"Do you need me to spell everything out for you?! Use your head!" He yelled.

"You're going too far Hiro!" Momiji yelled.

"Shut up Momiji!" Hiro yelled back, not taking his eyes away from Kisa. "Even though I couldn't do anything for you. I didn't come to your aid, when you had a problem. But… All you kept saying was 'Onee-chan', 'Onee-chan'... That didn't mean.. That didn't mean… Didn't mean that I didn't care about you. Didn't worry about you…" Kisa blushed happily and she smiled as a cute air was around them.

"... What just happened?" Kyo asked.

"You're so slow, Kyo." Momiji said.

"Huh?" Kyo said.

"Hiro was picking on Mi-chan even though he acts though, he's only in grade six. So immature!" Momiji said as Kisa took Hiro's hand.

"I'm sorry, Hiro… Next time I'll definitely watch it with you.." Kisa said and he looked away embarrassed.

"I'm not taking her away from you." Minami said taking a deep breath. "She's all yours kid." Hiro glared over at her.

"... But Hiro… shouldn't you still.. Apologize to Onee-chan…?" Kisa asked.

"Yeah, Hiro! Minami should have been at her job by now, but you've made her late. She has bad lungs too and you made her run all the way here." Momiji scolded and Hiro looked at her and then away.

"I know something better." Minami said smiling and walked over to Hiro who backed away.

"What do you have in mind?" Hiro asked and Minami wrapped her arms around him. The boy tensed up. A page from Tohru's books was a pretty good idea. After a couple seconds his face turned bright, bright, red as she released the hug. Hiro's eyes were wide and he was looking at her with a priceless shocked expression on his face.

"Looks like I am pretty special, don't you think? Hiro?" Minami asked and smiled. Hiro put his hands on his red and hit himself in the head. Once he realized it wasn't a dream, he crouched down on the ground, wrapped his arms around himself and looked down.

In the end Hiro was just a kid, going through too much, his silent tears were enough to show that.

A/N: I always like doing the opposite reaction then what people would expect. This was a fun chapter to write, since I really do like Hiro's character (even if he is a brat), hoped you enjoyed it as much as I did. Another Hiro chapter is coming up next, depending on how soon I update the other stories, I might post another chapter today.

Comments Comments I love comments. I can't believe we're almost at 300 hearts, thank you.
