After the longest three days of Lydia's life, the Hogsmeade weekend finally arrived. While she had seen Remy in that time they never got to have a repeat of their night in the library and oh boy did Lydia want a repeat of their night in the library. But in order to get what she wanted she had to beg...Harry Potter...at 10 in the morning on a Saturday, Remy DeRose was Lydia Lupin-Black's Achilles Heel.

"Hey Harry!" Lydia beamed she would have to be insanely pleasant for this to work.

"Lyd? What brings you up here so, well, actually, what brings you up here?"

"Can't I just say hi to my godbrother?"

"What do you want?"

"Who do you think is going to be picked for the Triwizard Tournament?"

"Lydia, I know you didn't come up here to talk about the Triwizard Tournament so, what do you want?"

"Can I pretty please with a cherry on top borrow the Marauder's Map? Just for today!"

"Ha, no."

"Why not?"

"My dad created it, it only seems right that I have it."

"Okay well your dad didn't do it alone, both of my dads worked on it, two, that's one more than yours so technically I should inherit it, plus papa's name is the first one to appear!"

"Fred and George gave it to me not you."

"Yeah because you needed help with getting to Hogsmeade, now I need help with something, it only seems fair, plus it's only for one day!"

"Why do you need the map so badly?"

"If I tell you, will you promise me to give me the map?"

Harry took a second to think it over, "alright sure but I get to add conditions deepening on what you need it for."

"Deal! Okay so I met this really nice guy his name is Remy he's from Beauxbaton and a few nights ago we had a really nice time with each other and I really want to spend some more alone time with him, obviously we can't go to my room because well girls dormitory and we can't go to his dormitory because stupid school rules don't allow the other schools to go into the guest quarters so I want to find a secret passageway on the map so we can spend alone time together." Lydia gave him her best pout.

"So you want the map because you're horney?"

"I am not horney."

"You kinda are."

"Am not!"

"Okay sure whatever you're not horney. Here are my conditions:

I get to tell Remus and Sirius you have a boyfriend, that's not me, I don't care if he is actually your boyfriend or not I get to tell them.

You have to ask Sirius for the talk and I get to be there because that sounds hilarious!

You have to invite him to a Sunday night dinner and no you cannot uninvite my family

I have to meet this guy before I give you the map, make sure he's worth your time and last but not least:

I get two 'no questions asked'"

"Fine! He's meeting me outside the portrait at noon, I actually like this guy, please don't fuck this up for me."

"Oo! Can I add one more condition?"

"What?"

"I get to call you horny."

"No!"

"Okay then no map."

"Okay! Fine! Just don't embarrass me."

"When have I ever embarrassed you?"

"I would tell you but I have a date to get ready for."

Lydia normally wouldn't be this stressed out about going to Hogsmeade with a boy but of course her fathers were going to be there because Gammie Mimmie just had to invite them for tea, probably to talk about what had been one of the best nights in Lydia's short life, and they just had to see their daughter. Again the first time Lydia is going with a guy to Hogsmeade, that isn't just Harry which included them just being friends because that's what they were really, people just had to need her everywhere!

First Applebot planned a surprise for her birthday, which was incredibly nice and thoughtful since they didn't get to see each other on Lydia's actual birthday, Applebot also said that a guy in their year asked her to Hogsmeade so Lydia had to threaten someone as well, Hannah never had the best choices in boyfriends.

Then the Malfoys just had to have lunch with her today because, why not? Lydia can't have any fun because she's fucking betrothed which is just incrediby unfair!

Her fathers also want to meet with her in Hogsmeade, they'll probably meet at the Three Broomsticks, hopefully they don't run into the Malfoys.

On top of all of this, Harry just has to be impossible to deal with today! Lydia's head was about to explode. As she stepped out of the portrait hole she saw the one person who could make her forget about all the stress she was going to endure today.

"Hey Remy!" Lydia greeted him with a kiss on the cheek

"Hello!" He smiled and pecked her on the lips giving her cheeks a rosy tint, she had been trying to get better at managing her hair and it had been working somewhat.

"I hope it's okay but my dads also wanted me to meet them at this restaurant called the Three Broomsticks for a minute, we can just pop in and step back out, if you don't want to meet them that's fine, they can be a lot."

"I would love to meet them!"

"Trust me, you don't."

"Truzt me, I do." He gave her a quick peck on the cheek with trust in his eyes.

"Oi! Lyd!" Harry stepped out of the portrait hole with a piece of parchment that Lydia knew to be the Marauder's Map.

"Harry, this is Remy, Remy this is Harry, great you've met, hand it over."

"Ah ah ah, not so fast." Harry was milking this for all it was worth, if Lydia had a little less control he would be born to a crisp right now.

"Hi I'm Harry Potter." Harry held out his hand and Remy took it.

"Remy DeRose," he had an award winning smile on his face.

"You aren't gonna freak out over me?"

"Do you want me to?" Remy looked over to Lydia questioningly

"No."

"Then why are you complaining?"

"Okay, you can date Lyd."

"Thank you but it iz not your decizion."

"Harry, just give me the parchment," Lydia grabbed for the map but Harry pulled it away.

"Were you planning on telling me that Remus and Sirius were going to Hogsmeade today?"

"Not really, I just got the letter this morning."

"Alright you can have it but remember I get to tell Remus and Sirius if guys start dating."

"We already are dating." Remy cleared up.

Harry gasped dramatically, "Lasanderia Koreen Lupin-Black! How dare you not tell me the extent of your relationship!" Lydia rolled her eyes.

"Papa and Pere will be at the Three Broomsticks at two. Now, parchment please." Harry finally gave over the map reluctantly.

"Thank you. Let's go Remy." Remy laced his fingers through Lydia's.

Once they were out of earshot of Harry Remy leaned over to Lydia.

"Why did 'Arry Potter juzt give me hiz blezzing to date you?"

"He's my godbrother and I told him he could meet you before we went to Hogsmeade because I needed something of his, it's best to just ignore him."

"Iz thez myztery item that piez of paper?"

"It is but this isn't just any piece of paper, it's a very important piece of paper for later." Lydia booped Remy on the nose with the map. They both laughed as they walked hand and hand to Hogsmeade.

"Okay where are we going firzt on thez buzy day of ourz?"

"Well first, Applebot, oh um she's one of my best friends her name is actually Hannah," Lydia cleared up at his confused looked, "anyway we need to meet her at the Hog's Head which is a very sketchy pub and I have no clue why she would want to go there but she said that the environment radiates my energy and I still don't know if I should be offended by that." Remy gave a small chuckle while lifting their hands to his lips.

"Lead the way."

Upon their entrance Remy got the chills immediately.

"Hey girly! You must be Remy, Lydia will not shut up about you!" Hannah pulled Lydia into a tight hug.

"Shut ye geggie!" Lydia blushed but Remy had a large grin on his face, "so explain to me why you are giving me my birthday surprise in the Hog's Head."

"Well, you see, I don't think anyone from Hogwarts would be too happy with my gift to you, close your eyes."

"Woah woah woah, wait, why wouldn't people be too happy about it?"

"You'll see now, close your eyes!" Applebot urged. Lydia did as told and held out her hands and what felt like a book was placed into her hands.

"Open!" Lydia opened her eyes and Merlin's bloody underpants!

"It's a potions book but it's potions that are counter reactants to dark magic." Hannah explained.

"Holy shit, is this legal? Where did you even get this?"

"Legal? Probably not. Where did I get it? They don't ask questions at Mr. Mulpepper's Apothecary."

"You went to Knockturn Alley?! Have you gone mad?"

"Honestly Blackberry you get too worried, no one knew who I was, it was fine! I met this potionier at the Leaky Cauldron while I was helping my aunt out over the summer and I asked for potion book ideas and he told me about it and I thought it sounded perfect for you." Lydia pulled Hannah into a hug.

"Do not take my mother henness as me not loving this gift, it's truly magnificent! Thank you so much!" They pulled out of the hug.

"Now I need to go meet my date at Madam Puddifoots! Wanna come?"

"We can pop in and say hey but I have an appointment with the Malfoys."

"Gross, wait does he know?" Hannah asked as if Remy wasn't there.

"Yez he knowz, he can alzo anzwer queztionz." Remy answered with a grin on his face.

"Ooh sassy! Remus will love you! Come now!"

Hannah led them to the frilly tea shop, when they stopped out front Remy looked incredibly uncomfortable which Lydia laughed at.

"Don't worry we aren't staying." Lydia assured him with a kiss on the cheek.

"Oh here he is!"

"You've got to be shitting me." Lydia's jaw hit the ground.

"Do you know each other?" Hannah asked, a little worried.

"Did you seriously go on a date with a guy not knowing his last name?"

"Yes?"

"That's my brother!" Lydia screeched.

"Wait, you're his stuck up sister who can't seem to get her broomstick out her arse?"

"Is that really what you think of me?" Lydia turned to her new brother.

"I mean, yeah, you are really stuck up, seriously, you need to lighten up, I heard pere saying that you were going to die from stress before you even make it to 16 if you didn't chill the fuck out."

"Have fun on your date Hannah, Remy and I have to get going now." Lydia felt her heart speed up as she quickly walked away.

"Lyd, Lyd, Lydia!" Remy grabbed her wrist to stop her and took her to an alley between two buildings.

"Are you okay?" Remy looked at her with nothing but concern.

"Do you think I'm stuck up?"

"Well no but I also haven't lived with you your entire life."

"Honestly you've known me for just about as long as Evan has. He and D.J. were adopted a few months ago. I can't believe my father said that." Lydia felt hot tears streaming down her face.

"Well he'z, what'z the word you taught me? Dobber?" Lydia chuckled at this. "Zere iz the smile I love." Remy kissed the tears off her face.

"You put too much prezzure on yourzelf Lydia, zo what if one person doezn't like you? There are thousandz of people who do like you!"

"That's a hyperbole."

"There she is, ladies and gentlemen, my girlfriend, the rhetoric nerd!" Lydia kissed Remy's grin off his face while he grabbed the side of her's.

"I really, really like you." Lydia said once they broke apart.

"I really, really like you too, but we do need to get going zo you can make your appointment with the Malfoyz." He kissed her forehead, took her hand, forced her out of the alleyway.

Lydia was drained from her late lunch with the Malfoys but she did get a butterbeer with Remy after it was all done, Harry walked into the Three Broomsticks seconds before two to meet up with Remus and Sirius.

"Why, hello there Lydia, Remy." Harry gave a nod of his head while he took a sip of Lydia's butterbeer.

"Can't you get your own?" Lydia complained.

"Oh come off it, it's not like we haven't shared a butterbeer before." Harry rolled his eyes. "Where are your dads?"

"They'll be here soon I'm sure." As soon as she said it the doors opened while two men came through it.

"Pumpkin Fluff!" Lydia got up to hug her pere and papa and led them to the table with Harry and Remy.

"I'll grab us some drinks, Harry want anything?" Remus asked.

"Just a butterbeer would be great."

"Alrighty, Sirius, what would you like, love?"

"I'll take a firewhiskey."

"Pere, it's two in the afternoon." Lydia said annoyed.

"Yeah and?" Was Sirius' counterargument.

"He'll have a butterbeer." Remus left with a "she's the boss" remark to the bar.

"Who are you?" Sirius turns to Remy.

"Oh, I do not know if I am allowed to tell you." Remy turned to Lydia and Harry.

"No, you are not allowed to tell him." Harry told Remy.

"Right. I wonder where Evan is, I told him to meet us here."

"Probably still on his date." Lydia rolled her eyes out of everyone he could've dated; he just had to date Lydia's best friend.

"He's on a date?" Sirius' eyebrows raised, always one for gossip.

"Who's on a date?" Remus asked, setting down the three butterbeers and passing them around.

"Evan." Sirius said with a proud smile.

"I'm glad he's fitting in." Remus took a sip.

"No!" Lydia's hair turned dark.

"Okay…" Remus put his hands up defensively.

"Why is it bad?" Sirius asked with fear in his eyes due to the color of his daughter's hair.

"Because he's on a date with Applebot!" Lydia complained. Remus sighed.

"Lyd, Hannah dates people all the time, most worse than Evan, why is it such a bad thing?"

"I don't want to talk about it." Lydia's head fell, her hair turning back to its natural color.

"Okay how about we talk about the boy that's here." Remus suggested.

"Ooh, I'm up!" Harry was way too excited about this, "Remus, Sirius I would like you to meet Remy DeRose, Lydia's new boyfriend."

"Nice to meet you Remy," Remus said at the exact time his husband said, "WHAT?!"

"Sirius," Remus said in a warning tone.

"But-"

"No, Lydia seems happy, we are happy for her."

"You are Lydia'z pere, yez?" Remy asked Sirius.

"Yeah, so?" Sirius replied.

"Écoutez, j'aime beaucoup Lydia. Elle est incroyablement intelligente, belle et gentille et plus de mots que je ne pourrais jamais décrire pour décrire à quel point elle est incroyable. Elle m'a tout dit. Les Carrows, les Malfoy, Greyback, Lydia est une force à laquelle il faut compter et je la traiterai comme telle." (Listen, I very much like Lydia. She is incredibly smart and beautiful and kind and more words than I could ever come up with to describe how amazing she is. She has told me everything. The Carrows, the Malfoys, Greyback, Lydia is a forced to be reckoned with and I will treat her as such.) At first Sirius was interested in what the boy had to say but that interest was soon replaced with fury.

Sirius whispered at a dangerous level looking Lydia in the eye. The roots of Lydia's hair turned black. "You told him about Greyback?"

"Yes, father."

"How could you?"

"It's my secret to tell."

"This could ruin your life!" Sirius hit the table making Lydia jump and Remus giving him a warning look.

"Remy wouldn't-"

"I don't give a shit if 'Remy wouldn't' you are a stupid foolish girl! You know nothing!"

"No father, you know nothing! You don't understand how this affects me and papa. You're selfish and and and," Lydia couldn't finish, she accepted the hug that Remus was offering and cried into his shoulder as Sirius stormed out and Remy quickly followed despite the warnings from the others.

"Zir!" Remy shouted to catch up with Sirius. Honestly Remy had no clue what to expect when meeting Lydia's parents although he must say this wasn't it.

"Quel?!" (What?!) Sirius spat.

"Lydia ne me l'a pas dit, je l'ai découvert par moi-même, parce que ... parce que j'ai aussi été attaqué par lui et qu'il m'a retourné, ce n'est pas la faute de Lydia ne lui en veux pas." (Lydia did not tell me, I found out on my own, because...because I was also attacked by him and he turned me, it is not Lydia's fault do not blame her.) Remy pleaded, he never really told anyone about him but he figured a man married to a werewolf whose daughter was also a werewolf couldn't be the worst person to tell.

"Tu es?" (You are?) Sirius said incredibly shocked. Remy knew why, he didn't have scars or at least visible ones.

"Oui, j'utilise des charmes glamour tous les jours. Les gens ne prennent pas gentiment ceux qui ont l'air différents." (Yes, I use glamour charms everyday. People do not take kindly to those who look different.) Remy knew that Lydia used her metamorphic abilities to cover her scars but many people didn't hide them no matter how insecure they were about it.

"Remy! Pere!" Lydia came running in, panting.

"Thank Merlin, we thought pere killed you."

"Do not worry ma belle, I am okay, your father and I have come to an understanding." Remy kissed her on her forehead.

"Not if you keep doing that we haven't." Sirius grumbled, Remy and Lydia both laughed, held each other's hands, and ushered Sirius back to the Three Broomsticks. Remy had no clue what this girl was doing to his mind but he didn't mind because it felt right, he wasn't going to fight that feeling.

A/N: How do y'all feel about Remy? I've mentioned this before but I'm reposting this story on AO3 and changes have been made on that version but not this version, this version will most likely stay the same, there are a few things I don't want in this story anymore for instance what Vernon did to Lydia but I'm not sure how to go about that.

Thank y'all so much!
