AN: So we have one review, but before that, I have a request of you all, and that is help with a hero name for Izuku. All I have right now is Geode, but... I dunno, it just doesn't feel right. With the way Izuku is, along with his quirk, I think it should be a more delicate name, but Crystal doesn't really work well either. So, if anyone has good ideas let me know either in the reviews or in PM! Now onto the review!

Entomoid: Maybe. I don't really see Stain as one to make puns, so if I can't find a way to work it in organically, I can't do it.

Post-writing note: I have come up with another name that I won't spoil, so I'll be using that instead of Geode if nobody comes up with anything I like better.

Iida didn't show up for class for a few days after his brother's attack. It was understandable to be sure, but Izuku was still worried about him, even if he didn't know them that well.

Finally, Iida returned to school, and Izuku tried to ask him about how he was feeling, but Iida insisted that he was fine.

Izuku had always been very good at reading other people's emotions, and he could tell that this was a lie. More than that, though, he could tell that it wasn't just sadness Iida was feeling, but also a blinding fury, likely directed towards Stain. Being angry at the man for what he did was perfectly reasonable, but Izuku felt that Iida was angry enough to do something stupid. He decided to keep an eye on Iida, to make sure he didn't do anything stupid in his anger, or in the name of revenge.

Before Iida could sit down, Izuku stood up and gave his shoulder a reassuring squeeze.

"We're here for you if you need us, okay?"

Iida nodded, although it didn't really seem like he'd heard the question, and class started soon after.

As classes ended, Izuku went over to Momo, since he needed her help with materials again.

"Hey Momo, do you think you could help me make something again? It's... a bit more complicated than the other things I've asked of you, so..."

Momo seemed excited at the idea of a challenge, so he showed her the designs of an arm he had.

"These are... Izuku are you sure your quirk can even handle this many materials?"

"Most of them are just there as guards to keep the more volatile ones from affecting each other or myself, so there's really only the five active in there. I should be able to handle it!"

"And this material here... it's not even solid at room temperature, and I'd assume you'd need it as a solid crystal to control it, so how is that going to work?"

The two of them went over the different aspects of the arm, before Momo came to her final question.

"Why now? Why didn't you have me make this after the attack at the USJ?"

"My mom made me promise that I wouldn't replace parts unless they were damaged by someone else, and that I couldn't just break myself apart to add new pieces," Izuku explained, "since my arm wasn't damaged then, she didn't bring these designs to replace it."

Momo gave him a look before closing the notebook. "I can make this, but it'll take a few days. It should be done before the Sports Festival, though, is that okay?"

"Of course! Thank you so much Momo!"

Izuku felt bad for putting a piece of crystal on Iida's shoulder to help him track where the boy was, but he had to make sure he didn't get into trouble. Right now though, Izuku could tell that the crystal, and therefore Iida, was in Hosu, where Stain was likely still hunting for heroes, so it was obviously a necessary precaution.

Izuku quickly prepared what he could to try to go stop the boy. His costume was, of course, still at school, so he opted for just a t-shirt and khaki shorts with a belt for Kuromu, which he hid under his shirt along with the sheathe, because visibly carrying a sword onto a train sounded like it MIGHT be a bad idea.

As he was about to leave, he saw a glint on his desk, and stopped for a moment. A crystal sphere, about the size of a shot marble, with a swirl of jade inset into the center, lay there. He figured it was as good a time as any to give it a test run, and so he took it and fit it into the slot made for it in his back.

The rest of it wasn't complete yet, he remarked to himself, looking at the pile of crystals that he had cannibalized from the excess when they modified his legs, but this part should work well on its own. He snuck out to board a train to Hosu, hoping his classmate wouldn't get into anything as dangerous as he expected they might.
