A/N: I would like to thank everyone that added this story to their favourites and follows as well as everyone that reviewed the last chapter. I'm glad to know that all of you enjoyed the kiss between Naruto and Hibari.

The Little Fox is my favorite small animal.

Naruto could only stare at Hibari as she took a seat on the couch. Those words echoed in her head again and again as Hibari took the seat across her. She could hear a phone ringing. It had to be her phone because the school anthem was not being played. Jiraiya must be the one calling her since she was supposed to be training right now.

She should leave the older boy and go to the forest but the blonde could not find it in herself to move. They needed to talk while she was still calm. The moment she walked out of the door, Naruto knew she would never bring it up again. Hibari did not deserve that. No one did when she thought about it. To walk out after a mind-blowing kiss was wrong…even for her.

"You kissed me."

Those three words rung out in the air and Hibari nodded his head. Even though his lips were not curled into a smile or smirk, Naruto knew from the way his eyes lightened up that he was proud of making her so stunned. It was an endearing look if you asked her. But that was not the point if you asked her.

She was not repeating what happened because she wanted to know why he did it or to get that expression from him. There was no need for her to ask Hibari of why he kissed her. The Little Fox is my favorite small animal. That might not sound like a confession to people but Naruto knew this was the closest that she would ever get to a confession from him.

"You are fond of me."

She was repeating the facts because Naruto was just trying to wrap her head around of what happened between them. Fond was the best word for her to use. To say he had a crush or to say Hibari was in love with her was something she knew the boy would never admit to her. The fact he would say that she was his favorite small animal told her volumes of his feelings.

Hibari nodded but did not say anything, only opening the box of chocolate that she made and taking the little hedgehog from the box. Some people would prefer if the boy would say something but Naruto preferred the silence. If he opened his mouth while she tried to process everything then she was going to bolt out of that door.

"You don't do relationships or dating."

She looked at him, daring him to contradict her words. He did not smirk or shake his head, only stared at her. The look in his eyes told her that he did not understand why she was stating that fact out loud. She raised an eyebrow. What did he want them to be? Did he want her to be his girlfriend? Because that was a label.

Hibari did not do labels when it came to relationships. She was not certain whether she wanted that label on them. The label of girlfriend meant so many connotations if you asked her. It felt like she would never be in charge and that she had to act like a traditional girlfriend. It made her feel like they were never going to be equal and that was what she wanted.

She liked being his ally and his partner but the label of girlfriend might take that away.

"We aren't going to put a label to this."

That was the only thing Hibari said to her and Naruto snapped her head up at him. The black-haired teen took another bite of his chocolate and the blonde bobbed her head. He is fine with me not labelling this thing between us. That reassured her. She almost thought for a moment the boy wanted her to call him her boyfriend and the same went for her. But he was fine with her not labelling this relationship between them.

He won't change the dynamics between us. The thought made her relax her shoulders and the blonde looked at him. Labels had never been something important to them. It was something neither of them cared about. Labels had always been something that ruined her life. Bad seed. Monster. Dead Last. All of those labels damaged her in some way.

Hibari did not know that but he knew her, just like how she knew him.

Naruto took a deep breath and placed her hand against her lips. Her blue eyes could see the amusement in Hibari's eyes and the blonde rubbed the back of her neck. What the hell was her feeling towards him? She knew it was not some simple friendship or alliance. A simple friendship would not cause her mind to shut down. She knew she felt something for him.

Was it a crush? She didn't know. Love? That was why too soon if you asked her. Lust? There was an attraction between them but the blonde knew she was not that type of girl. She did feel strongly when it came to him. Was she willing to explore what this was? Hibari was not like the other boys she knew in her life.

He would never try to cage her and would give her the freedom to do what she wanted. He knew her. He knew she liked to work at nights. He knew she had a part-time job and did training with Jiraiya. Most boys would demand for attention but Naruto knew he was not like that. Just like how she was busy at times, the same went for Hibari.

She would not mind spending time with him but being in a relationship was risky if you asked her. Relationships were risky not because of what love could be. It was the expectations people had in a relationship. If I date Sasuke then I would heal his broken heart and he will shower me with love. That had been what one of the girls whispered in class and that made her weary.

But Hibari was not going to try and heal her and that was something Naruto was grateful about him. It was not his job to heal her and that was something she would never expect from him. She knew he would never push her to do things that she felt uncomfortable doing. He would call her out but that was it.

"If I do this…what will be the difference for us?"

Grey eyes regarded her and Hibari stroke his chin as if he was deeply considering her question. She did not know what to expect from him. Did he want them to go outings together? Did she go to his house? She did not know. Did she stop patrolling? Because that was something she was not going to give it up.

Hibari sighed.

"It will be the same as before," he answered, keeping his eyes focused on her. "We just do a few more things."

Naruto looked at him and nodded. She understood what her ally was telling her with those words. If they wanted to go on dates then it would never be in public. Not because he did not want to be seen with her but his dislike for crowds. That was something she always understood about him. Hibari would never ask her to sacrifice her time for him but Naruto understood what he meant by a few more things.

His eyes told her that he expected her not to change those aspects of their relationship and she nodded. I will be in his house more often. That made her relax her shoulders. Hibari was definitely not going to ask her to give up her freedom. She guessed that changing certain aspects of their relationship was not going to hurt her in anyway.

She would be willing to see where this relationship would go.

"I will accept the changes to our relationship," Naruto informed. Hibari curled his lips to smirk and the blonde darted her eyes to his lips. The kiss they just had was good. The type of kiss that kept her mind blank. But she had to slow down the pace of their relationships. "But we are going to take things slow."

Not too slow but Naruto would like to have some respect for her waited for Hibari to protest but the boy did not look one bit annoyed by her words. He only looked amused as if he knew why she wanted to keep things slow between them. Kissing was fine. It felt really good if you asked her but she was going to keep it to that level.

"Slow?" Hibari asked. His eyes fixated on her own blue eyes, not once straying to her chest or legs, and it gave her some comfort. If he looked down at her breasts again then Naruto knew that she would have to pull up the stops. Even though she skipped classes a lot in Konoha, she did know about sex and rape. She was not going to allow herself to be pressured.

She was going to have control of that aspect of their relationship.

"I'm definitely not going to let you grope my breasts before I'm ready," Naruto answered, keeping her eyes locked onto him and pushing back the blush that threatened to consume her. "If this lasts till my birthday in nearly eight months time then we will see what will happen."

Hibari nodded and Naruto relaxed her shoulders. She was glad her partner was not going to argue against her words or ask her more questions about it. He accepted her words and decision. This was what she liked about Hibari. He did not judge her or push her to do things. He accepted the fact she wanted to control this aspect of the change in their relationships.

With that knowledge, she stood up from her seat and looked at Hibari. Since the whole relationship between them now had a new dimension, she could kiss his cheeks. Naruto eyed his cheeks. She actually wanted to peck his cheeks but it would be a little bit greedy for her to show him with affection, wasn't it? She shook her head and blinked when Hibari stood up.

She stared at him with knitted eyebrows when he tilted her head up. A tiny groan escaped her lips when he licked and bit her neck. Was her mind ever not going to turn blank when he did it? She felt giggles escaping from her lips as Hibari continued to kiss up her neck, only stopping when it reached her jaws. She shuddered and felt her hands wandering up to his neck, willing to bring him closer.

He swatted her hand and the blonde raised an eyebrow. The teen did not answer, only dropping her hand and Naruto had a strange feeling that he was punishing her. No, he was punishing her. He left those hot kisses on her neck and stopped right on her jawline. He swatted her hand instead of continuing on with that kiss.

If he was punishing her then Naruto had to ask why.

"You know I haven't lied," Naruto muttered as grey eyes met her own. Was he going to kiss her lips too? She would like one. His kisses felt good. But she guessed she was not going to get one because even though his eyes were locked onto her lips, he was not leaning forward to kiss her. Amusement shone through his eyes as if he knew exactly what she wanted and the blonde locked eyes on him.

Hibari smirked and lowered his head, only allowing his breath to tease her lips. Grey eyes still glinted with small humor that was barely noticeable to the human eye. His hands stood by the side while his eyes focused on her own blue eyes. The desire was still there but it was not the same molten desire from when he kissed her. It was even worse if you asked her.

"That was for not doing what you wanted earlier."

Naruto only spluttered at the reason.

"Are you one of Tsu-kun's friends?"

Naruto stared at the smiling brown-haired woman standing in front of the door. Warm brown eyes gleamed with so much happiness at seeing her and the blonde was again reminded of how this woman was a little bit of an airhead. She had some idea when she saw the woman in the beginning of the school year, when the school had their Parent Participation day.

Poor Sawada had to endure his mother answering questions for him. Naruto could still recall the various snickers from their classmate and it had been one of the few times when she had been happy not to have parents in her life. But now that she knew who her parents were, she wondered what would her mother have done if she came.

She shook her head and regarded the smiling woman. In terms of appearance, it was clear to her that Tsuna took after his mother. The soft features her classmate was very similar to his mother alongside his coloring. He is in a different situation from me; Jiraiya tells me that I have my mother's features but my father's coloring. She grimaced at the thought.

"I'm his classmate, Uzumaki Naruto." She forced herself to give a little bow and the woman blinked. Naruto knew what might surprise the brown-haired woman. It was not the fact she did not call her son her friend. It was the fact her name was Naruto. A very masculine name, which should not suit her since she looked very feminine.

So many girls tried to bully me because of that name. The memories of her past flooded into her mind and Naruto shoved it to the side. Her parents named her after a character from a book. A crappy book that was filled with naivety if you asked her. But the character did move her. The desire not to give up was something that she could relate to alongside his hard-working nature but the way he wanted to break the curse.

To break the cycle of wars, conflict and hatred was difficult when the shinobi world relied on it.

"Your name doesn't suit a pretty girl like you," Nana commented with a bright smile. Naruto blinked at the backhanded compliment. It was both an insult to her parents naming and a praise to her own appearance. Should she pretend to be happy? It was the first time an adult actually called her pretty. Most of the time the adults would make comments about her behavior and how she pretended to be human.

She shifted her weight to her left foot and rubbed the back of her neck as she allowed a smile to grace her lips. Scowling would get her nowhere while a smile like this would probably charm the woman. It would be convenient for her to pretend to act like she liked this woman. It would terrify Sawada and made things easier for whenever he pissed her off.

"Thank you, Sawada-san."

Nana's eyes lit up and then the woman blinked as if she realized something. Naruto watched as those brown eyes took in her blond hair before falling to her blue eyes. For a brief moment, she wondered if the woman knew her or rather her father. Judging from the way she relaxed her shoulders and the way she shook her head, Naruto guessed the answer was no.

He looks a lot like your father.

Naruto did not know why those words echoed in her mind again. From her talk with Jiraiya, her father had been madly in love with her mother from the moment she came to the Academy. She knew from her school report that Minato Namikaze had been born to merchant parents and had been orphaned at a young age. She could even recall Iruka bringing their class to the tiny monument they had of her father.

She also remembered how Iruka pointed to the grave of the Fourth Hokage's parents.

"Is Tsuna at home?" Naruto asked. She should not focus on the mystery of why her father and Tsuna looked similar. It was already bad enough that she had been a little bit distracted during her training earlier with Jiraiya. Now was not the time to think about it. "I came here to hand him some chocolates."

Nana smiled and looked so delighted at her words. I don't think if I tell her that I'm not interested in her son, she will believe me. The thought made her sigh and Naruto rubbed the back of her neck. It was best for her to bite her tongue and not spill words that would make the woman cry. She took a deep breath and relaxed her shoulders.

Tsuna would make things clear to his mother and she would be fine. Anyone with eyes knew the boy was interested in Kyoko and would never look at anyone else. He calls out her name when he sleeps in class. It was a good thing that none of the teachers bothered to wake him up because she could only imagine the embarrassment he would feel if people heard him.

"Tsu-kun and his friends are sick," Nana informed her. Naruto blinked when the woman sighed and knitted her eyebrows, looking every bit confused. This only made her raise her eyebrows. "I don't really understand what happened. Haru-chan and Kyoko-chan made them some chocolates with Bianchi and then they got sick."

I thought he would learn by now. The knowledge made her sigh and the blonde stared at the woman. What should she do? Just give the chocolate to his mother and walk away. It would save her the headache but she could always use this as an opportunity to get some money. That money would go to a worthwhile cause especially when her classmate couldn't even stop Bianchi.

She pulled her phone from her pocket and pressed Haku's contact. Come over to the Sawada household, you have got a job to do. She sent the message and returned her phone back into her pocket. Even though she was going to give Tsuna and his friends chocolate, it was a good idea for her to maintain her image and get some money out of his silliness.

"They will be fine as soon as I see them," Naruto declared with a smile playing on her lips. Nana blinked. "I've a magical touch that could heal all three boys from their sickness. Just one smile from me can heal them."

Nana smiled and giggled, looking delighted by her words. The blonde only smiled even wider. Since it is a recurring theme, I will probably double the price from the first time. She could practically see the yen right in front of her eyes and the blonde allowed herself to hum a little cheerful tune, not caring what it sounded in public.

"Please come in, Naruto-chan."

"So mind telling me why you can't refuse their chocolates?"

Naruto kept her tone blank as she watched Haku heal Tsuna. Both Gokudera and Yamamoto still lay on the ground, no longer groaning and moaning from the pain of food poisoning. The two males turned their heads to look at her, not looking one bit amused by her words. Yamamoto just inspected her while the silver-haired teen glared at her.

She knew in Gokudera's eyes that she was the devil with the appearance of a fragile little girl. It is not my fault that you guys make it easy for me to milk money from you. Naruto leaned against the wall, arms folded against her chest as the poison came out from Tsuna's stomach and poured into a bowl. It was still a wonder of how Bianchi could make all of her food poisonous.

No, a better question was how Sasagawa and Haru not notice that all of her cooking was poisonous.

"Juudaime was able to stop my sister from making chocolate, Greedy Woman," Gokudera grumbled. He pushed himself up from his sleeping position and locked eyes with her. "We didn't know she already made the crackers."

Naruto blinked and flickered her eyes to Yamamoto. His brown eyes did not gleam with happiness nor annoyance, only looking at her with regret. She guessed he regretted not trying to find a way to stop them from eating the poisonous cooking or rather she guessed from figuring out that Bianchi could have cooked something else.

A sigh escaped from her lips when the boy nodded. In order to provide comfort to Tsuna, the boy could not vocalize his real thoughts to either teens. If Tsuna knew Yamamoto was not dense and understood everything, he would be panicking everyday. The thought irritated her. Was the desire to have a normal life so great that he had to put his own friend through this? God, she couldn't understand this.

She did not even know why she cared. Yamamoto was someone that she could probably talk to at times and to a certain level she could understand him. The blonde pinched her nose. It did not matter. All three of these boys were at best her allies and their worst, naïve fools that she could easily milk money.

Right now, the three of them were the latter.

"You couldn't even say no?" Naruto asked, swirling her head to Tsuna. The boy groaned and looked so pitiful that it made the blonde want to smack him in the head. She inhaled and pushed down the annoyance. "Or were you so distracted by Sasagawa's smile again that you did not have the balls to tell Bianchi that you couldn't eat it?"

Tsuna groaned while Haku swirled his head at her. His brown eyes did not look impressed by her words, almost like he was reprimanding her for her behavior. It seems like he is getting used to me that he has no problem vocalizing his feelings. That was an improvement if you asked her, but not enough for her to be actually apologetic.

Haku had never seen how much of an idiot Tsuna could be around Sasagawa. It was a justifiable for her to speak in this way. While Yamamoto, Gokudera and even Ryohei talked to him with sweetness and all that bullshit…she was going to be blunt. He is going to learn that not everyone will talk to him like them. Even before the incident with Mizuki, she was blunt.

"My sister practically shoved the crackers into our mouths," Gokudera answered with a scowl. Naruto rolled her eyes at him and darted her eyes to the black-haired teen on the side. Her classmate nodded. A part of her should feel absolute pity for them but the blonde could only shake her head at them. With another sigh escaping from her lips, the blonde removed her bag from her shoulder.

She moved her books to the side and pulled out the three boxes of chocolate that she purchased for them. It took her only a couple of minutes for her to choose these treats for them. This is probably going to be the best chocolates they had since they won't get food poisoning from it. The thought made her snort and she placed the chocolates onto the table before looking at the three boys.

Both Gokudera and Tsuna stared at the boxes with wide eyes while Yamamoto just grinned. His brown eyes shone with curiosity while Haku narrowed his eyes at the boxes. She could see the curiosity for where the fourth box of chocolate went and Naruto was not going to tell him where it went in front of Gokudera and Tsuna.

They were already in shock for the fact that she actually came with chocolate. I can only imagine how they will react if they knew I made chocolate. The scream of shock from Tsuna was not worth it even if she knew it would be hilarious. Gokudera would just make some comment that would make her want to punch him.

So it was best for her to keep it a secret.

"This is my way of thanking you guys," Naruto informed them.

Tsuna and Gokudera nodded their heads, eyeing the box of chocolates like it might be a trap, while Yamamoto immediately snatched the box of chocolate with a smile. Out of the three boys, only the black-haired boy seemed to understand that she would never charge them for bringing chocolate to them. But unfortunately for them, she still had a plan of getting money from them.

"The chocolates are free but Haku's service is definitely not free." Her voice leaked with happiness and all three boys paled as if they understood the real reason that she brought Haku to them. They probably thought since she did not charge the service of Haku during Kokuyo Land that she became lax. Too bad for them. "I think ¥150,000 between the three of you will be enough to pay for his service."

Gokudera's eyebrows twitched.

"You could thank us by not making us pay for a service that you provided! You are scamming us."

Naruto snorted.

"But this is your way of thanking Haku for taking the time and effort to heal the three of you."

None of the boys argued when she put it in that perspective for them.

"So did you give any chocolate to Hibari-senpai?"

Naruto swirled her head at Yamamoto while Haku snapped his head at her. The baseball player had a large curious smile playing on his lips as his brown eyes focused on her, earning a grimace from the blonde. She knew better than to hope the boy would mind his own business but the baseball player did have a habit of finding out about her business.

She could not even deny it because her subordinate's eyes lit up with amusement. Even if she denied it, Naruto knew Yamamoto would figure it out when he looked at Haku. The shock in his brown eyes would inform anyone that she did it. Even Tsuna would have figured it out and the boy could be slow when it came to these things.

"So you made those chocolates for Hibari-san?" Haku asked before she could open her mouth. Naruto rubbed the back of her neck and nodded, earning a large smile from Yamamoto. Her subordinate only regarded her with amused eyes. If he tells Jiraiya that it was for Hibari, I will cut his pay by 25%. She could only imagine what her mentor would do if he found out that the chocolate was for Hibari.

It would not matter to the man that she gave homemade chocolate to her ally. What would matter for her mentor was to know what the status of her relationship with Hibari. If she told him that Hibari and her agreed not to put a label, he would immediately assume Hibari and her were just fooling around. She did not understand why people had to put labels.

They were partners and allies and that was good enough for her.

"Did he like it?" Yamamoto asked.

"He ate it without complaint and he did not get food poisoning, so yes."

The baseball player observed her as if he was trying to figure out if there was a hidden meaning behind her words. There was not. She stated the facts without giving away that he kissed her before eating the chocolate. There was no need for her to mention this fact to him. Naruto shrugged her shoulders and looked up at the twinkling stars.

She was going to have to go change and bring the bento to her other subordinate. Hopefully he had some news for her but she doubt it. Things were quiet in this small town. There was no new kind of crazy in this town. A sigh escaped her lips. If she saw her subordinate, he would tell her about some insane stunt in the Sawada household. Although he did talk about some crazy family to her and how there was always gunshots.

But since that family had not fought outside the streets, she saw no point of interfering with their affairs.

"So nothing happened when you gave Hibari-senpai, chocolate?" Yamamoto asked. His brown eyes sharpened and inspected her like he wanted to know her reaction. Naruto kept her expression blank. This kind of talk was not something she felt comfortable discussing with him, nor did she feel the need to advertise the change in her relationship.

As Hibari pointed out to her, labels were not important and their relationship was mostly going to remain the same. She would just have dates with him and be more affectionate with him. But other than that, nothing was going to change between them in public. If Yamamoto and the others figured out then it was fine.

But if they could not figure it out then that was also fine with her.

"It is Hibari," Naruto said calmly. She pushed down the blush and kept her tone calm while her heart raced against her chest. Yamamoto looked almost confused as if he did not know what that was supposed to mean while Haku knitted his eyebrows. "I am glad he did not bite me to death for giving him chocolate."

Haku and Yamamoto exchanged looks while the blonde looked up to the night sky. That was for not doing what you wanted to do. His words sounded sinful against her ears and a part of her wanted to blush but she held it in. Not doing what she wanted to do. She knew from their previous talk that Hibari's definition of greed was taking what he wanted without second guessing things.

She guessed he was trying to tell her that she should express her feelings to him. But it was strange. Not just for the fact he did not mind her showing these types of emotions but the fact he wanted to see it. Whenever she desired something, be it a toy or even affection, she would get punished for such acts. Those punishments always brought out pain.

Hibari's way of punishing her made her toe curled.

"Is it wrong to not act out your desires?" Naruto mused. She tore her eyes away from the stars and focused her attention on the two boys. Yamamoto and Haku blinked, looking almost taken back. Oh…they must have heard her question. Another sigh escaped her lips and the blonde looked back up to the night sky.

She should have kept her mouth shut.

"I like to play baseball so I play baseball and that makes me happy," Yamamoto finally answered. The blonde focused her attention on the balck-haired teen who regarded her with a smile playing on his lips. Sincerity shone through his eyes and Naruto continued to observe him, all too interested to know what he had to say. "I like eating chocolate so I accept the chocolates from the other girls because it makes me happy."

If acting out your desires makes you happy then it isn't wrong. That was what she understood from the baseball player's words and judging from the pleased glint in his eyes, Yamamoto knew she comprehended his meaning. Her subordinate, on the other hand, just looked a little bit lost at what the boy was trying to get at.

He would understand the meaning when he spent more time with the baseball player.

"So what do you do if you don't know how to act out your desires?" Yamamoto frowned at her question, not looking at all like he understood her question. She guessed he would not understand. Unlike her, the boy did have a father that always showered him with love and affection. The idea of not being able to act out his positive emotions to the world was not something he could understand.

Haku only stared at her. "You just learn to acknowledge it and express it, Naruto-sama. You just allow yourself to express it instead of bottling it up."

Naruto regarded the older boy and nodded before looking up at the houses surrounding them. But how could she acknowledge it? It was hard for her to differentiate between certain emotions. Was it also that easy? Just allow herself to express it to Hibari. She guessed it was that easy. Hibari never judged her. He did not get irritated that she showed him her concern and fear for him.

He told her that he did not care if she showed it, not because he was indifferent to it but because he didn't mind if she did it.

Maybe Haku and Yamamoto was right and she was wrong. Maybe it was okay for her to express her feelings to Hibari and not just second guess how he would feel about it. If it made her happy then why shouldn't she act on it? She shoved her hands into her pocket and looked at the fences that surrounded them.

She would try and act out the emotional desires that she had repressed for so long but Naruto knew it would be a long time before she could do it without second-guessing herself.

I'm Uzumaki Naruto and I am a girl who never gives up. If I'm going to defeat those urges then I'm going to pummel it to the ground.

She was not called Naruto for no reason after all.

A/N: So what do you think about the conversation between Naruto and Hibari? And of the relationship Naruto has with both Yamamoto and Haku?
