Chapter 24: The Mock Turtle and the Looking Glass Line part. 2
Last Time
The Mock Turtle saw this and looking back to the group he changed his tune to a more neutral one, and motioned to the tracks while stating, "But enough of that, everyone aboard. Next Stop; The Queens Land."
Now
Once the Mock Turtle said this a thick fog collected on the tracks in an eirei fashion. A moment later the tracks began to vibrate violently with the sound of a train rolling along its tracks. They could hear the roar of the coal powered engine, the wheels screeching along as they were forced to spin, and even the puff of the chimney stack and whistles! Suddenly the train appeared from the fog as if just breaking through it! The rain came to a huffing halt at the waiting area and a loud whistle sounded off its arivial, all the doors along its side opened as if by magic while little step stools came down as if inviting them aboard.
The train, like the rest of this world, was just as strange as it's conductor; it looked far more like a 19 century mansion on wheels, it's boxes were far wider than regulation, as if they would sway too far in one direction and then fall over. For whatever reason the teens couldn't see the very end of the train at all, whether it was just too long to see or just never ending was unknown. The front of the train looked like the London Royal Castle of Great Britain with chimney stacks sticking out, along with a strange boxy shape.
Mock turtle cloped over to the conductor railing at the front and waved the young heroes to climb aboard. A few minutes later and the teens were seated at the box car nearest to the front, being able to see Mock Turtle at the controls. The train gave a loud whistle and jerker as it rolled away from the station, and moments later the station disappeared from sight
The young heroes all took this time to finally relax after their harrowing journey through the large chunk of Wonderland! The seats on the train were so unnaturally, so firm with just enough softness to sink right in. They didn't know what the red material was but it was just firm enough to equal out the softness of the stuffing. Some of the students took up a whole booth and laid across it, some sat up and leaned against the window or each other, some enjoyee the comfort, some fell asleep, and some looked out the window and took in the calm.
"This is just what I needed!", Mina sighed with relief while stretching.
"So this is what heaven feels like.", Kaminari comments as he lays out across his seat like a cat.
"UCK UCK UCK!", Todoroki snores loudly.
As they all relaxed Izuku could help but notice Allen's behavior. When they boarded he jumped into the same door as Mock Turtle did when making the train. He didn't look at anyone as they took their seats, even trying to hide behind Dhina or Mock Turtles himself. Then he sat in a seat that bordered the cart between the controls and the actual guest cars. He was stiff as he sat and very tense in his shoulders. He kept looking forward, refusing to look back, and appeared to be chatting with the Mock Turtle. But whatever it looked like it was serious as Mock Turtle had a very solemn expression every time he turned to look at Allen. Then again, he always looked solemn.
In the second booth bear the front was Dhina, who had managed to slip himself into the right booth and sit down. But not without breaking the seats bottom, legs, and backrest. While only looking forward and remaining completely emobile. Izuku worries what will happen when and if they meet the League again. Will their ace turn on them and they'll be forced to fight something twice as strong as All Might or will….
You know what, maybe now is not the time to be worrying about that. Right now they had some down time and should take advantage of it before they get to the Queen's Land. Whatever the Red Queen person was, everyone sure made it seem like she was no push over, even for this world's crazy standards.
Izuku looked back at Allen and Mock Turtle still chatting silently and wondered what they were saying. He knew not to poke his nose in anyone's business, but Allen's current attitude didn't really help his curiosity, and his conversation with Mock Turtle looked like a heavy one. What if they were talking about something along their journey, or the queen, or something else to come?
"They say curiosity kills the cat, which is why mine is laced with caution.", a voice spoke to Izuku.
Izuku nearly jumped out of his seat upon hearing this voice come out of nowhere and immediately whipped his head to the spot right next to him, only to see the Cheshire Cat seated comfortably in the empty space. Izuku felt relieved that it was only him and a little bit on edge, it seemed like forever since he'd seen him. Izuku wondered where exactly where the cat would go when he wasn't annoying them, teasing, vexing, misleading them, or just being a general nonsensical nuisance with a philosophical edge to him.
"You know, if you constantly ask questions within other questions you'll eventually lose the ones you asked in the first place. Wonderland is a place of many things, but certainty and clarity are not one of those. Focus on what's ahead, your main goal, then pick your brain for every answer you have.", said the Cat.
"R-Right, sorry. It's just so much to take in at once.", Izuku replied while rubbing the back of his head. "By the way, what are you doing here? We're not exactly lost or need guidance right now."
"That may be true, but who said that I would only appear when you needed me. I come and go as I please, no need for permission.", explained the Cat. "Though getting back to the topic at paw; you're wondering what exactly Allen and the Mock Turtle are chatting about, no?"
Izuku nodded his head.
The Cat smiled and continued, "It's nagging at you to the point where it's practically eating away at the corners of your very mind. Especially with how Allens had been acting currently, it doesn't help much now does it? Is it important, is it related, is it just about tea?"
A small vein popped in Izuku's head as the Cat tried to drive him crazy with anxiety, and frimly asked, "Did you come to vex me or enlighten me?"
The Cat grinned with his teeth and replied in a warning, "I can do both. But like I said; keep getting brown on your nose and you'll never be able to smell the daisies under your feet. Look carefully at the situation and ask yourself, is it worth looking into?"
Izuku looked at Allen and the Mock Turtle again and thought. Was it really worth trying to find out? After a minute he menatlly decided that it was something worth finding out about.
As he came to his conclusion, the Cat piped up and stated, "If it is then by all means, find out what they are saying by any means! If not, then keep your head down and your nose clean. Brown is not a good color on anyone's nose."
"Midoriya-san?", a new voice called his name. Izuku turned his head to the opposite side of the box and saw Iida looking at him with a concerned expression. "Are you okay? You keep talking to the space next to you. Who are you talking to? You're not losing your grasp on reality are you?"
Izuku looked between his friend and the animal next to him. He looked back at iida and asked him, "Wait, you don't see him?"
Iida looked up and down Izuku before asking with stress in his throat, "See….who?"
Izuu turned back to the cat and asked him, "Why can't he see you?"
"I'm a cat of many tricks.", the Cat replied with a wide grin.
Izuku, unsatisfied with the answer, rolled his eyes and explained to Iida, "It's the Cheshire Cat, he's sitting in the seat next to me. You really can't see him, Iida-kun?"
Iida just blinked at Izuku before replying, "I'm just gonna say you're telling the truth and go back to sleep.", with that he rolled over and fell asleep, turned away from Izuku.
Izuku sighed and softly said to himself, "I sure hope he doesn't think I'm crazy."
"Do I even have to reply to that statement?", stated the Cat with a displeased look in his eyes.
Izuku turned back to the cat and with a slight twitch in his eye he asked in a firm yet dangerously calm tone, "Do you have anything else you want to tell me?"
"Is there something else you want to know?", the Cat asked back, warranting a grunt from Izuku. "Perhaps these can help with your...unanswered questions."
Izuku gave an inquisitive look to the Cat as he lifted up one paw and pushed forward two new Shattered Memories in front of him! Izuku went into panic mode knowing what horrors awaited him if he looked at those things! His eyes went wideAnd as of now he was not ready today or the next century!
"No!", Izuku stayed firmly, in a manner that said there is no option in this!
"Yes.", the Cat replied simply.
Izuku shook his head and exclaimed, "No, I'm not going to look at those things! I'm still freaked out from the last two!", Izuku then turned his head away and crossed his arms!
The Cat smiled with a shrug and replied, "So be it, but if you'll want them again, and I know you will, I'll keep them on my purrson. Like I said-curiosity should be laced with caution-if you know the risk and rewards involved. And the reward for watching the whole story would be understanding Allens whole story."
Izuku's ears perked up at the last part and he whirled his head over to the Cat asking, "Wait what did you say?"
But the Cat and the Shattered Memories had already vanished. Izuku relaxed into his seat with a relieved sigh, but now his mind swirled with dozens of questions. How are the Shattered Memories linked to Allen and why? What was Allen's deal anyway? How was he so connected to this place? Allen...Allen...Allen.
Theirs was so much he wanted to know about him, to ask him, but where would he start? What would he ask? Allen has already been so vague about everything, so would he even be able or willing to sassier his curiosity?
Right now he had to deal with what's currently on the table; Allen's purposefully avoiding all of them and using the Mock Turtle as a scapegoat, he's obviously trying to dodge whatever happened back at the Hatter's Domain when he turned into that slobbering demon, and Izuku knows that things will only get worse if he lets this fester. But now he had to wait for the right moment to ask him, and right now he hasn't left the Mock Turtles shadow.
Maybe if he could listen in on their conversation then maybe he could try and think of a way to approach this, but he didn't have superhuman hearing. Though someone in the class did!
Izuku sat up and looked behind his seat searching for Jiro, luckily she was in the seat directly behind him. So he asked her to listen in on their conversation.
Jiro obliged by seeing as she considered listening in herself. She stuck her ear phone jack into the wall and listened in.
Izuku waited patiently as Jiro transcribed their words. Seems they haven't been talking very long and they just caught the begging, however it was fuzzy like a radio.
Jiro listened in carefully while everyone around here stayed in nerve racking silence. Eventually someone got impatient and told Jiro to just say what she could hear! Jiro waited another moment before translating a few things; Allen apologizing and asking questions, the Mock Turtle answering them in a lackluster voice, a philosophical conversation that made zero sense, and the mention of the passing of someone called Griffin.
"What's a Griffin?", Jiro asked.
"It's a creature with the body of a lion, and the wings, talons, and head of an eagle.", Toru explained.
"Toru, was there anything in the books about a Griffin?", Mina asked the girl.
The invisible girl took a moment to think and then answered, "There was! If I remember correctly the Griffin was the best friend to the Mock Turtle. In fact it was the Griffin that introduced Alice to the Mock Turtle."
"Anything else?", Izuku asks.
"Nothing that sticks out.", Tour says with what looked like a shrug.
"Guys shuss! I'm getting a better reading!", Jiro hissed at them.
"What are they saying?", Izuku stated in a low voice.
"Mock Turtle I never got the chance before to apologise to you.", Jiro repeated in a mock Allen voice.
"You already have, a numerous amount of times.", She repeated again in a mocked Mock Turtle voice.
"I mean for something different, I mean for Griffin. If I hadn't asked him to help me then-."
"Allen please, Griffin knew what he was doing, he knew what he was up against, he knew what was at stake. I don't blame you for his death, but I still mourn for him.", A loud sigh came from the conductor's seat, loud enough for everyone to hear. Then the Mock Turtle continued and shooed Allen away. "Now please leave me be, I have to concentrate on the train."
Everyone diverted their attention from Jiro and looked towards the front of the train where they saw Allen sit up from his seat and dragging his boots along the ground towards one of the passenger seats near the front, with his head hanging down low. He sat down with his head still looking at his boots and hands loosely folded over his lap, and an occasional sigh escaping from his mouth.
As the three girls talked amongst one another on what they heard and what it ment, Izuku decided it was time to finally get some answers. But now he would have to walk on eggshells. One false move and he could set off Allen by mistake. So he got up from his seat and then sat down right next to Allen. The older teen didnt appear to notice him and still kept his eyes cast to the floor without making any movement. After several seconds of extremely uncomfortable silence, Izuku finally decided to break the ice.
"H-Hey Allen.", he managed to squeak out.
Allen was shocked and jumped in his seat at Izuku's sudden appearance, saying in a panicked tone, "WHA! OH I MEAN-*cough cough cough*, h-hello I-Izuku.", He tried to save himself.
After that, the two teens averted eye contact with one another and stared blankly at the back of the seats in front of them. This awkward silence and coexistence lasted for well over several minutes before Izuku finally decided to pipe up.
"So uh, how are things?", he asked the older teen.
At this, Izuku mentally slapped himself for such a question and went off in his head in a tandem. 'How are things!? Oh my god, oh crap, oh for the love of! Is that the best you can do? I'm so disappointed in myself! What is wrong with me? I wish I could die! Hurry up and save this train wreck!'
"I-uh-.", Izuku tried to save himself, but was cut off by Allens quick hand.
Allen gave a sad sigh as he looked out the window near him and said in a low yet sad tone, "You don't have to say anything Izuku. I know what you're thinking. And I can't blame you.", Allen begins to tear up as he continues with his speech. "The one part of me I didn't want you to see...and it nearly killed you. So just get it out of the way! I know what I am. I'm a m-", Allen never got to finish as he curled into himself, covering his hands in his face and began to weep.
Izuku panicked, not knowing what to do, and patted the teens boney back as he tried to say in a comforting voice, "No no no! Nothing like that! I don't think you're a monster! No one is!", for a moment Allen stopped his bitter tears and poked one eye over his shoulder at Izuku. "I...was going to ask you about that though. I just didn't know how to bring it up or touch it lightly.", Izuku said while looking to the ground.
"I….I call it Hysteria.", Allen finally said in a hiccup while turning back towards the direction of the seat in front. "Whenever I'm in a pinch and need to destroy something fast I….I draw from the well of insanity in my being and let it surface into….what you saw before.", he explained in a tone of disappointment and fear. "During such time I become an unstoppable force of madness and death! I'm stronger, faster, and far more deadly! In addition I regain my strength much quicker in this state and I can't feel and feel pain.", Allen started to become more emotional, as Izuku could see tears welling up in his eyes. "Now I know that might sound like not a bad thing, but I can assure you it is. During such times I lose cognitive function in my brain. So I'm unable to tell friends from foe and end up killing everything around me till it wears off or I wear out.", tears started to stream down his face as he recollected the next events that sent him into another fit of bitter tears. "In addition, the only reason I can't feel pain in this state is because that's all I feel…..pain. Extricating, horrifying, unending pain! And it's that same pain that drives my mind even further over the edge! And I….and I….", Allen crumpled into his knees again and began to sob, covering his face in his hands!
"Hey hey i-its okay.", Izuku tried to reassure him with a pat on the back.
But Allen quickly threw himself over Izuku's lap, causing the teen to nearly activate his quick out of shock, and began to cry on his legs while clutching at his pants!
"I'm sorry! Im so so sorry! I didn't want you to see me like that! Now you think I'm a monster! Just like everyone else does!", He sobbed in a muffled yell into the material of his pants!
Izuku panicked again and stammered out, "N-No no no! I don't think that! Not at all!", Allen stopped sobbing for a moment to pick his head up and give Izuku a skeptical look. Izuku sweat dropped and admitted, "Okay, I am a little freaked out, but that's it!", Allen then laid his head back into his pants and began crying again.
Izuku thought fast and ended up thinking too fast. So he calmed his racing mind just long enough to think and act appropriately. Took a calming breath and said, "I'm…..I'm still your friend Allen. But I…..I'm so lost when it comes to you. I want to understand you, but I always feel like I'm running in circles. And….it doesn't really help."
Allen finally picked his head back up and rubbed his eyes clean as he said in a self-disappointed tone, "I'm so sorry Izuku. I've been doing nothing but leading you around with no explanation to anything so far. There is so much you want to know, so much I want to tell you, so much that can't be explained…..and so much that I can't."
Izuku wondered what those things were. But he pushed the thought aside as he listened tentatively at Allen.
The older teen clasped his hand in his own while saying, "But the most I can do is answer what questions you have now and tell you this."
Izuku leaned in a bit at the suspense and listened fully to the saddened teen's words
"I-.", Allen spoke with a shaking in his voice, until he was interrupted by the train rattling violently! Everyone was jumped awake by the joult that nearly sent most of them out of their seats!
Allen and Izuku grabbed onto one another in a desperate attempt at anchoring themselves, but we're still flung off their butts!
When the train stopped shaking, Allen shot up to his feet and yelled at the conductor's seat, "WHAT IN THE BLOODY BLUE BLAZES IS GOING ON!?"
"Did we hit something?", someone asked.
"That's crazy, we're in the middle of empty space. There's nothing out here.", another stated.
"Mock Turtle! What just happened?!", Allen yelled while marching up to the conductor's seat!
When Allen saw the Mock Turtle, he stopped. The strange creature was standing in his booth, staring out the window while making a choking sound.
"What's wrong with him? Is he choking!?", Izuku asked in a panic!
Allen rolls his eyes and says, "Unfortunately. He alway manages to cough up a chicken bone or swallow his tongue at the worst time!"
Allen then went behind the creature and began to whalop on his shell several times until the choking stopped.
"Q-Q-Q-Q-Q-Q-Q-Q!", The Mock Turtle stammered out.
"Well spit it out! What is it?!", Allen demands with arms crossed.
"Q-Q-Q-Queen! R-R-Red Queen!", he yells while pointing to the window!
Everyone looked out the window and saw a giant tentacle made of blood and flesh, sprouted out from the dark abyss and appeared to keep pace with the rushing train!
"Oh no.", Allen squeaked out in a small tone.
"That's the Queen?!", Bakugou exclaimed!
"Part of her.", Allen corrected him.
Suddenly the tentacle arched itself back and then shot way out in front of the train, far beyond the tracks, and sliced them apart! Causing several yards of the track to break apart and fall in the darkness before it did as well!
"SHE CUT THE TRACK! WERE ALL DOOMED! EVERYONE PANIC!", screamed the Mock Turtle!
And just like that, everyone did. Amidst the panicking teens and hysterical creature, Allen carefully pulled out his stop watch and clicked the plunger. In an instant, everything and everyone around him froze in time. Allen looked around at the screaming faces of everyone in the train and made his way to Izuku. He touched the teens nose and Izuku fell into Allen's time loop.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!", Izuku screamed!
"Izuku, calm down!", Allen tried to calm him.
Izuku calmed down some and whipped his head around frantically at frozen people around him and stagnant soundings. "Wha-? Allen? What's going on? Why has everything….stopped.", he asked anxiously.
"It's my watch. I've stopped time, but only for a little bit!", Allen explained as he held up his watch. He then grabbed Izuku's shoulders and seriously told him, "Now quickly! We must make haste and stop the train before we go over the side!"
"How do we do that?", Izuku exclaimed!
"Unfreeze everyone and place them in positions that their abilities are most successful in stopping the Looking Glass Line.", Allen told him while grabbing the parasols from each person.
"How do I 'unfreeze' everyone?", he asked in a panic.
"Just touch them. And be quick, we don't have much time!", Allen exclaimed while grabbing the last umbrella and making his way to the back of the car.
"What about Mock Turtle?", Izuku asked while pointing to the hilariously frightened expression of the creature.
Allen stopped and looked at him funny while saying, "What about him? He'll just stand there and run around in circles like a chicken without a head. Now hurry!", he shouted while exiting the car door.
Izuku then went around to everyone and began to touch them one at a time. Each time they came into the time loop, they continued their screaming as before and Izuku had to calm them down and quickly explain their dilemma. Then he would send them off to make best use of their quirk to stop the train. Several seconds later and everyone was at a different position and ready to do or die! Todoroki, Mina, Mineta, and Sero were poked out of the window and ready to use their quirks on the wheels. Mei and Momo were at the controls to put the train into an emergency stop. Shoji, Kirishima, Izuku, and Sato were at the train's front ready to stop it with their bare hands. Bakugou was on the train's light and ready to use his max explosions to act as a counter force. Everyone else was inside and hunkering down or trying to help the two girls at the controls thanks to Shinso. And Allen was on top of the train, hooking all the umbrellas to the top as a parachute.
"Is Everyone Ready Izuku?! Time Is About To Resume!", Allen called down from the top.
"All Set! Are You Sure This Will Work?!", Izuku called back.
"If Not, Then At Least We'll All Die Quickly!", Allen shouted back nonchalantly, which made everyone gulp.
Allen called down if everyone was ready. They all called back, and Allen counted down the moment from restarting time. 3-2-1! Allen pressed the plunger on the watch and time restarted instantly! Everyone in the train felt the pull of force from the restarted movement and Shinsou calmed them all down with his quirk while telling them to hang on!
While Momo, Mei, Iida, and even Uraraka worked at the speed of light on the controls! Uraraka was ready to take gravity off the train if the need arrived. Todoroki used both of his quirks simultaneously the tracks to slow their descent, Mina used a weaker form of acid to corrode the wheels to the metal, Mineta ripped his sticky balls one after the other while screaming, as Sero tried to stick as much tape as possible between the train and the track!
Bakugou let off the most powerful and longest streams of explosion from his palms and gauntlets to act as a counter force. Kiroshima hardened his legs, arms, and chest and dung into the wooden plants and the metal keel of the train! Sato, having eaten about 20 grams of sugar before, was super pumped and dug in with his massive strength alongside Shoji who had considerable more trouble keeping his footing. Izuku activated One For All at 20 percent and pushed back against the speed train with all he had!
Allen was crawling is was atop the train's roof where all the umbrellas were firmly secured to the roof and pushing against the great force of wind! Allen slowly made his way to the front by anchoring himself with the Vorpal Blade, until he reached where Bakugou was! He looked down and saw the other teens, including Izuku, digging in and holding back the train! Allen got a look of pure determination on his face and jumped down from his spot and into the path of the train!
He collided with the monstrous hunk of steam powered metal and like the others, he dug his boots into the boards, breaking them loose and apart as they went, and pushed against the train with the Vorpal Blade jammed into the keel!
The teens struggled and strain, moved as quick as they could, and prayed to whatever god was watching them that they may survive this yet again! Time seems to slow as the gap grows ever closer and closer! And it almost looked like they were going to fail this time, with no signs of slowing! Uraraka was nearly ready to touch the train and make it float at the cost of her own health, when something strange happened.
Allen let out a loud powerful scream from deep within his gut, and a wave of mysterious energy from his body that rushed over the whole area and a moment later the whole train suddenly stopped in mid motion! Like watching and actually train crash, but instead of the individual cars piling on top of each other, it all jumped forwards and then fell back right in place to a perfect stop more than several yards away from the opening!
"Did-Did we make it?", Kirishima asked breathlessly after several seconds of waiting for the stop to be real!
Allen pulled the hair from his eyes and replied equally breathlessly, "I believe so, yes."
That's when everyone literally fell to the ground in a heap of themselves out of pure fear and relief! Everyone laid on the ground huffing and panting like dogs for several minutes, as they felt the adrenaline rush out of their bodies.
"We've really gotta stop with all these close calls.", Iida spoke aloud.
"Tell that to the Red Queen.", Allen said back.
"I did it! I saved us all with quick thinking and reaction. Congratulations to me!", The Mock Turtle cheered with gel on the outer edge of the train and clicked his hooves with glee!
Bakugou snarled at the creature's declaration and placed his finger on the release pin ready to blast him right off! But Allen came to his side and grabbing his hand he said in a low but serious tone, "Later."
"But now what are we gonna do? The train can't run with that huge gap in the track or at all after we stopped it.", Kaminair exclaimed while pointing to the huge gap!
"Yes, you all should've thought about that after saving us. You should all be disappointed in your failure.", The Mock Turtle immediately switched gears and shunned the teens.
Allen cracked his neck in an unsettling manner and letting go of Bakugou's hand he said, "Perhaps later will come sooner than I thought."
"Can't we just walk the rest of the way? I mean, the track is still there, we just gotta cross the gap and walk.", Shinsou asked.
Allen sighs and answers, "I wish it were that simple, but The Looking Glass Line has to run the track. Otherwise we'll be walking into nothing, forever!", while Bakugou was beating down on the mock Turtle with his bare hands.
"So now what? Are we stuck?", Uraraka asked nervously.
Allen tapped his chin and then snapped his finger when a light bulb went off in his head!
"Not just yet!", he exclaimed while looking at the Mock Turtle being pulverized by Bakugou. "Mock Turtle! Do you still have your ship?"
Bakugou stopped beating the creature long enough for him to speak, and picking his face from in between two of the tracks boards he answered. "My old ship you say? I do think so. It's probably still stationed where I left it.", he then dropped his head down again as he said with a sad and melancholy tone, "But I haven't operated it in such a long time since I got my old job back as a conductor, and I don't think I want to."
"Well now think you just lost it again.", Mina said sarcastically while looking at the wretched and inoperable train.
Allen then pulled Bakugou off the creature and pulled it to his hooves, he said "Well now we need you to put on a different hat and sail us to uncharted waters.", then deposited a ship captain's hat from somewhere and placed it on his head, while saying with a salute, "Captain."
"I'll do my best sir!", Mock Turtle said boldly and proudly while doing a salute back, after regarding it for a moment. Everyone was relieved by this until he said right after, "But there's just one problem."
Everyone shouted in exasperation and Baougou summed it up nicely, shouting, "Of course there is! Why wouldn't there be?!"
"I can't take you to Queens Land by boat.", the Mock turtle explained vaguely.
"What?! What not?", Ojiro exclaimed.
"Land Locked.", Allen explained simply, which was enough of an explanation for the rest of them.
"I can only get you to Barrel Bottom.", the Mock Turtle gave his altimandem.
Allen's eyes shot wide as he exclaimed, "BARREL BOTTOM!? Oh no! Anywhere but there! Can you take us somewhere else? Anywhere else? I'd go back to the Hatter's Domain if it wasn't in ruins.", he begged the creature!
"It's the closet location in proximity to The Queens Lands. Also, you can get help from someone there.", the turtle explained.
"If by 'help' you mean chinced and cheated on, then yes.", Allen stated with an annoyed eyes roll.
"Seriously Allen? Is there a single place in Wonderland that you actually like?", Jiro asked him sarcastically.
"Plenty, we just keep going to the place I dont like. But this one I hate most in particular!", he shouted while stamping his boot!
"Why's that?", Tsuyu asks.
"It's run and operated by that sleazy, no good, two timing, backstabbing, money laundering, ill mannered, malignant degenerate! And his lazy obease pet!", Allen shouts angrily while stamping his foot over and over till he broke one of the boards! "I'd sooner swap spit with a Jabberwocky then make a deal with that creation!", he exclaimed while spitting off the edge!
"Will this person actually help us on the chance?", Izuku asked.
"Maybe. But he always has two irons in his fire. He could double cross us….but then again, it is not like we really have many options left.", Allen said more calmly with a tired sigh. Allen rubs the bridge of his nose and turns back to the Mock turtle he says, "Very well Mock Turtle, take us to, UGH, Barrel Bottom.", he said with a sneer.
"On my honor sir! Now this way please.", the Mock Turtle says while jumping over the side of the train track to the black bottomless abyss.
Everyone gasped at this and froze in place at the pure shock they all felt! Soon Allen was also about to join in as well, and he would too if Izuku had not reacted fast enough, grabbed his arm, and forcefully pulled him back!
"Allen!", He shouted fearfully!
Allen looked back at him confused and asked innocently, "What? He said to follow. If we don't, we're liable to lose track of him."
"But you said that if we fell into the darkness we'd never been seen again!", Izuku exclaimed fearfully!
"Or die a quick death.", Bakugou added.
"And Mock Turtle said to follow.", Allen emphasized, which made everyone raise an eyebrow at him. Allen sighs at their reaction and says, "Like I said, there are rules down here. You just have to learn how to read them.", Allen pulls himself off the ground, bushing himself off and snaps his fingers. A moment later and all the umbrellas on top of the train all fly off the top and into their owners hands. "Now come on, there's no time for dilly dally. Off we go.", Allen says while opening the umbrella, jumping off the edge, and falling just long enough to be seen as a blue speck.
And soon, everyone else followed after him. Opening their umbrellas and floating down into the darkness below. Leaving the ruined Looking Glass Line behind to fade into nothingness.
