July 12
We're finally home.
We got back from our honeymoon yesterday evening. I'm kinda sad that it's over but at the same time, I'm very happy. Even though we're not physically on a romantic getaway, it doesn't mean the honeymoon phase has to end. Now it's time to really begin our lives together as husband and wife and I'm really looking forward to it.
There was a surprise waiting for us when we got home.
"What's all this?" Inuyasha said when we saw the stuff on our front door.
Our friends had been busy in our absence. Once we got closer to the door we could see that there were streamers and a "Congratulations Newlyweds!" banner on it. There was also a card pinned to the door as well. It said "Congratulations on your marriage. We hope you're having fun." It was signed by all of our friends. Even Sesshomaru had signed it in the bottom corner!
"Wow, this is so sweet!" I said.
"That's really nice of them," Inuyasha said as we went inside.
I put the card on the table. Inuyasha dropped our bags on the floor. Before I could say anything else, I was pressed up against the wall with his lips ravaging mine. I immediately melted into him, moaning into his mouth while his tongue danced with mine and his hands wandered my body and stopped to caress my breasts.
"Honeymoon's over, baby," he said in a voice that was dripping with lust. I let out a moan just at the sound of it. "What should we do first?"
"Hot spring?"
A devious smirk crossed his face. "Good choice."
So that was how we spent our first night back.
This morning after breakfast I was inside brushing my hair and getting ready for the day. Inuyasha was outside, probably polishing his tetsusaiga. I decided today would be a good day to tie my hair back with a white ribbon and once I was done I made my way outside to join him. After last night, I was having a hard time walking. I was really sore from having my vagina pounded like that, but it was a pleasurable kind of soreness that made me want more of him.
"Hi honey," I said to him once I stepped outside. All of a sudden, I felt a familiar pinching in my neck. I put my hand to it and Myoga fell into my palm. "Good morning, Myoga."
"Ah, Lady Kagome, your blood tastes as delicious as usual. Although a bit warm like Inuyasha's."
I noticed Inuyasha roll his eyes at that. "I wonder why it's so warm," I said as I sat in the grass next to my husband.
"Don't get him started again," Inuyasha said. I could only assume they'd had a similar conversation before I came outside.
"Well usually blood is warm for one of two reasons: either you're sick or you've been getting very intimate with someone," Myoga explained. "You don't seem sick so I can only assume you and Master Inuyasha really enjoyed your honeymoon."
Now my face was burning with embarrassment. Myoga wasn't wrong, Inuyasha and I had definitely had a lot of physical fun for the past two weeks, but that didn't make it any less awkward that our private moments were so obvious to him.
"Um, well…"
"Myoga, do you actually have anything important to say?" Inuyasha said. He was blushing as well and he also looked extremely annoyed.
"Well, really I just wanted to wish you well," Myoga said. "Your father would be very proud of you. And I'm sure he would love Lady Kagome."
Inuyasha still looked annoyed, especially at the mention of his father. However, I thought what Myoga said was very sweet. "Thank you, Myoga. We really appreciate that."
Later that day, Inuyasha and I were out in our garden. He was finishing up with building our storage shed and I thought it was turning out great. Meanwhile, I was watering our plants. The vegetables we planted have grown a lot while we were gone.
While we were doing that, Shippo appeared.
"Hey, you guys!"
"Hi, Shippo!" I said, giving him a big hug. "I've missed you so much."
"I missed you too, Kagome. Did you like the card? I did the drawings."
"I loved it. You did a very good job."
"Inuyasha, you made the roof crooked," Shippo said observing the shed. Then Inuyasha went over and punched him in the head. "Ow!"
"Inuyasha!" I scolded.
"I'd like to see you do a better job!" Inuyasha said before going back over to the shed. He climbed up onto the roof to try to adjust it.
"Why don't you sit him anymore, Kagome?" Shippo said, rubbing his head.
"Because he's my husband now, Shippo," I replied. "I don't want to hurt him anymore by saying 'sit boy.'"
"Ah!" Inuyasha shouted as he fell off the shed roof face first and hit the ground. "Kagome! What did you do that for?!"
"Oh no, I'm sorry honey!" I ran over to him and helped him up. "It was an accident. Are you okay?"
