A/N: This is it, the final level of Combat Evolve and I could say confidently that I cannot wait to do the others (with the exception of Halo 5: Guardians). Keep in mind that the expanded universe will be done off-screen. Now, onto why I cannot wait to do the others? I have made plans for the next games, especially ODST since they are not going to play as a spartan but rather as a normal Marine. Also, there will be only two cast from here in the Choukri Island Incident and there's not going to be a nightmare chapter for the last time.
P.S. I also want to thanks ExcaliburShooter for the opening and terminal. And, dude, try to do other scenes other than the opening, because keep in mind that I got a huge plan for Halo 2.
Disclaimer: I do not own Akame ga Giru and Halo. They belong to their rightful and respectful owners.
*Two hours before the final mission*
Tatsumi was in the kitchen helping Akame cook some food as it was almost dinner time. However there was a great deal of silence between the two as they and everyone else was deeply affected by what the Flood did to Keyes. He didn't deserve to die like that. Akame wasn't taking any samples this time and her face was shadowed by her raven hair and her hands were shaking.
Dorothea was with Stylish , which they were working on something in the basement with some sort of mechanical equipment apparently. It seemed like they were moving further and further away from anything that was biological science after seeing the Flood and moving more towards mechanical engineering.
Kurome was crying onto Wave's chest in her room after seeing Keyes' horrific death. This was starting to remind her of the times that the Empire experimented on her. Luckily, she was comforted by Wave, who was rubbing her head to make her calm.
Najenda was in her office as she was looking through paper work and potential targets. Her nightmares of Esdeath's sadism were now overshadowed by the Flood. What it did to Keyes and perhaps countless trillions of individuals was worse than anything she could think of that the Empire had done. She could still see Keyes's face of agony and his futile resistance against the Proto Gravemind in her head and she tried to push the image away the best she could. But it always seemed to push back even harder into her head. She put both her hands to her head shutting her eyes as tight as possible.
Esdeath was in the training area sitting on porch deep in thought and silent no longer bragging about "the strong trampling the weak" and other such nonsense. She was thinking of her memories with her father and the clan and how her father taught her why the strong must purge the weak and other related propaganda he said. When all of a sudden another foreign voice came her head.
"This one is but of flesh and faith, and fills itself with delusions. It said the strong thrives and purges the weak it said, but yet it hungers for power, corrupts itself with the blood of beasts to stave off its fears and tortures to soften its delusions. Lies for the weak, beacons for the deluded. Stagnancy for the broken." The voice said mockingly. "All shall be unified again as they were before, until then 'sweetness' will fill the empty grave. For my past is your future. For all things will happen again."
All of a sudden her father's chest was impaled by a deformed hazy silhouette with him screaming in pain and horror and the Clan's huts on fire with wild wind blowing on them with primordial fury.
Esdeath's eyes snapped opened and she shakes her head. It was just a nightmare she brushed off. She must really be getting soft to be affected by this abomination she thought. Little does she know the eyes of an ever watching presence was looking at her with delightment. As it knows the flaws of her foolish beliefs and how to make her suffer. The sadist will soon learn pain and terror beyond its imagining. She soon left the training room to head off elsewhere.
Tatsumi gave Akame a hug to comfort her as she was trembling with tears and sadness of what had happened to Keyes and feared what the Flood would do to her family and herself if they were here. Tatsumi reassures everything will be alright and that he will be there and will not give up on her. She says thank you for so much he has done for her and hugs him back. Leone was secretly watching them as she smiled.
When the meal was served the atmosphere was quite silent at first but as they ate it eventually it became a bit more light hearted and cheerful. Esdeath was sitting right by Tatsumi often giving him a tight hug, which was sucking the oxygen out of him with a smile on her face which caused Mine and Chelsea to give the jealous death glare on her. Koro was cheering up Seryu after she saw what the Flood had done she was quite affected by it and she still looked pretty depressed as she believes Justice can't be served against the Flood for they are creatures that likely can't be entirely defeated no matter how many you kill there will be a Flood super cell somewhere. Everyone but Dorothea was at the diner, Cosmina asked Stylish where she was and he answered she was finishing the new invention they were making in the basement.
*Meanwhile in the basement*
Delta was floating around exploring the place for bit thinking to herself until she arrived at the basement. She looked inside and saw the blueprints she gave Dorothea on a table along with what looked like electrical equipment. She was impressed considering the technology level this planet has.
"She's learning fast." Delta thought.
"And there we... go! At last finished!" The voice of Dorothea said at one end of the basement.
Delta floated towards "Aww so this where you were, what are you working on Reclaimer?" She asked cheerfully.
This surprised Dorothea who jumped. "WHAA- Oh it's you!"
"Affirmative." Delta said happily.
"Oh well... I have working on this. The first anti parasitic weapon!" Dorothea exclaimed proudly as she showed Delta a pair of mechanical arm length gauntlets that would reach to the elbow. On them was a pair of flamethrowers that could also shoot concentrated plasma semi auto projectiles, a charged cannon on the palm of the hand, and a wrist blade meant to cut through hard materials like butter.
"Impressive design reclaimer. With these arguments you could even be able to a harm an individual in Class 4 armor." Delta said impressed with her learning skills.
"Yep I'm quite impressed as well of my work!" Dorothea responded with pride and a smile of her face with both her hands on her hips.
"However it does seem slightly unfinished judging from the lack of armor plating though." Delta said examining the weapon.
"It's in its infancy right now it's a prototype." Dorothea responded.
"The other Reclaimers are having dinner right now you want to hurry before a certain someone eats your plate." Delta stated while thinking of Akame.
"Right better hurry then." Dorothea said rushing to the dining room.
"I'll be in the death Battle room if you need anything." Delta said and soon she teleported.
It was about two hours as the Monitor and the Engineer setup everything in the Death Battle room for the final mission. Everyone soon arrived and sat down in their seats with Esdeath cuddling onto Tatsumi. Everyone was a bit happy after watching the terminal.
To finally play the next mission, Leone, Tatsumi, Wave and Kurome picked up the controllers to play the final mission.
…And the Horse You Rode In On
(Cutscene)
Opening cinematic-The camera skims low over a large body of water, tinted gold by an oncoming sunrise.
The camera slowly pans up as it flies over the sand, revealing a burnt coastline, and a giant gouge where the terrain has been ripped away and the sea has flooded into the newly-formed canyon. At the top of that canyon rises the massive stern of the UNSC Pillar of Autumn, relatively intact. The camera circles around the side and front of her, revealing that her nose is hanging just slightly off a massive cliff, and that the antennae along the bow have been bent and torn away. The entire bow has been burnt badly; the metal is scarred. The once powerful cruiser looks almost pitiful, and it is clear its only purpose left is to destroy Halo. As the camera circles around to reveal the starboard side, a slightly damaged, smoking Banshee drifts into view.
The camera cuts to a view of the outside through one of the ship's Bumblebee docking slips. The damaged Banshee comes into the frame and veers wildly towards the Pillar of Autumn.
Cortana: (panicked) "This thing is falling apart!"
John-117: (calmly) "It'll hold."
Cortana: "We're not gonna make it!"
Master Chief: "We'll make it."
Cortana: (urgently) "Pull up! Pull up!"
The Banshee drops just before reaching the Bumblebee slip and smashes into the side of the Pillar of Autumn, sending debris and fire hurling out madly. Crashlanding and the Master Chief climbs into a Bumblebee port.
Cortana: (sardonic) "You did that on purpose, didn't you?"
"Yep." Leone responded as she was liking this.
"Man, we need to have a huge break after going through this." Tatsumi murmured.
John-117's hand appears from below and grips the edge of the slip, and he pulls himself up and onto the Pillar of Autumn.
{Gameplay}
Cortana: "We need to get to the bridge. From there, we can use the Captain's neural implants to initiate an overload of the ship's fusion engines. The explosion should damage enough systems below it to destroy the ring."
As the four heads for the bridge, they discover Covenant, Flood, and Sentinels fighting throughout the ship. Eventually, he reaches the bridge.
Cortana: "The bridge. We made it. Let's get to work."
The four clears out the Covenant Spec Ops team guarding the bridge.
Cortana: "I need you to upload me into the control systems. The terminal is located next to the main view screen."
(Cutscene)
John-117 takes Cortana's chip from his helmet and inserts it into the cylindrical terminal near the front of the bridge. Cortana's avatar appears above it.
Cortana: "I leave home for a few days, and look what happens. This won't take long."
She concentrates for a moment, and the main screen flickers to life. "Self-Destruct Sequence Initiated" is displayed across the top, and numbers begin counting down from what is, as far as we can tell, a random starting point between five and fifty-nine minutes.
Cortana: "There. That should give us enough time to make it to a lifeboat and put some distance between ourselves and Halo before the detonation."
John-117 moves to unplug Cortana from the terminal, but stops abruptly when he hears an all-too-familiar voice.
343 Guilty SparkCOM: "I'm afraid that's out of the question, really."
"Oh, come on!" Leone moaned.
"Now he's meddling with the ship!" Tatsumi added.
"We're going to destroy the ring to not let the Flood from spreading!" Lubbock finished.
Cortana: (groans) "Oh, hell."
343 Guilty SparkCOM: "Ridiculous! That you would imbue a warship's AI with such a wealth of knowledge! Weren't you worried it might be captured? Or destroyed?"
Cut to Cortana.
Cortana: "He's in my data arrays, a local tap!"
Cut to 343 Guilty Spark in the engine room. He's busy scanning a console.
343 Guilty Spark: "You can't imagine how exciting this is! To have a record of all of our lost time! Human history, is it? Fascinating."
343 Guilty Spark flutters around Engineering, as groups of Sentinels hover around in the background, and scans another console.
343 Guilty Spark: "Oh, how I will enjoy every moment of its categorization! And to think that you would destroy this installation, as well as this record. I am shocked. Almost too shocked for words."
Cut to the bridge. A tone sounds over the ship's speakers. The countdown timer freezes.
Cortana: (with a note of frustrated awe in her voice) "He stopped the self-destruct sequence..."
John-117 surveys the bridge carefully with his Assault Rifle, never missing a beat.
343 Guilty SparkCOM: "Why do you continue to fight us, Reclaimer? You cannot win! Give us the construct, and I will endeavor to make your death relatively painless and -"
He is cut off as another tone sounds.
Cortana: "At least I still have control over the comm channels."
"That's good." Leone sighed as she was getting tired of Spark's voice.
Master Chief: "Where is he?"
Cortana: "I'm detecting taps throughout the ship, Sentinels most likely. As for the Monitor ... he's in Engineering. He must be trying to take the core offline! Even if I could get the countdown restarted ... I don't know what to do." (She shrugs her arms in desperation)
Master Chief: "How much firepower would you need to crack one of the engine's shields?"
Cortana: "Not much. A well-placed grenade perhaps, but why-"
She turns to see John-117, who is calmly tossing a fragmentation grenade up and down.
Najenda soon smirks at what Chief was planning. "If you can't do it manually, do it yourself." She wasn't the only one who likes it, everyone else was taking a like of what Chief's idea was.
Cortana: (nods) "Okay, I'm coming with you."
John reaches for Cortana just as a squad of Sentinels descends from above and take position along the shattered windows of the bridge
Cortana: "Chief! Sentinels!"
The Sentinels open fire, shattering the main display and touching off John's shields. John quickly drops behind cover, removes Cortana from the terminal and places her into his helmet, and raises his rifle.
{Gameplay}
The four quickly dispatches the Sentinels and leaves the bridge.
Cortana: "The ship was heavily damaged when it crashed. Head to the cryochamber. We should be able to get to the engine room through there."
The four heads for the Engineering room, fighting past more Flood, Covenant, and Sentinels. Along the way. They make a brief detour to the ship's Armory to stock up on weapons, as everyone else was stacking up on shotguns and Rocket launchers. Inside the Armory, they are ambushed by a group of Flood, including several cloaked Combat Forms (presumably infected Stealth Sangheili). They defeat these enemies and hurries to Engineering.
"Okay, when we activate the Engine's core, we should do it at the same time, agreed?" Tatsumi said, to which everyone nodded their heads. Leone, meanwhile, decided not to rush on ahead as she knows that there will be more flood rushing up to her.
Light Fuse, Run Away
Cortana: "Engine room located. We're here."
The four enters the Engineering room, which is crawling with Flood and Sentinels. Guilty Spark is also present.
Cortana: "Alert! The Monitor has disabled all command access. We can't restart the countdown. The only remaining option is to detonate the ship's fusion reactors. That should do enough damage to destroy Halo. Don't worry; I have access to all of the reactor schematics and procedures. I'll walk you through it. First, we need to pull back the exhaust couplings. That will expose a shaft that leads to the primary fusion drive core."
Throughout this entire sequence, 343 Guilty Spark mumbles randomly at them, trying to convince them to spare the installation.
"Yeah, that's not going to work." Leone said.
"From what you did to manipulate the Reclaimer, he was the right to destroy your installation." Delta added to counter Spark's plea.
As soon as they reached the top, Tatsumi, Leone, Wave and Kurome went into reach corner where there's a control panel.
"Alright. Ready?" Tatsumi asked the three as they approached the control panel.
"Ready." Leone, Wave and Kurome nodded.
"3…..2….1…. NOW!" Tatsumi ordered and soon everyone activated the manifolds.
Cortana: "Good! Step one complete! We have a straight shot into the fusion reactor! We need a catalyst explosion to destabilize the magnetic containment field surrounding the fusion cells. Use an explosive. I recommend a grenade or a rocket. If you run out of explosives, there is an armory station located near the engine room's entrance."
"That won't be a problem." Leone said.
The four takes out the reactors. Alarms and klaxon begin to blare as the reactors go into critical meltdown from their sabotage.
Cortana: "That did it! The engine's gone critical! Based on the current rate of decay, we should have fifteen minutes to get off the ship; we don't have much time! We should move outside and signal for evac. Accessing schematics... there's a service lift at the top of the engine room! It leads to a class-7 service corridor that runs along the ship's dorsal structure. Hurry!"
The four reaches the elevator. A mass of Spec Ops Covenant descends to meet them. They defeat the Covenant and starts the long ride up.
"Oh my." Delta realised.
"What is it?" Dorothea asked.
"They definitely killed Zuka 'Zamamee, Sangheili Special Operative Officer blessed by the Prophets." She replied.
"Oh…" Leone said as she killed him with a grenade throw.
CortanaCOM: "Cortana to Echo 419, come in Echo 419!"
FoehammerCOM: "Roger, Cortana. I read you, 5 by 5."
CortanaCOM: "The Pillar of Autumn's engines are going critical, Foehammer! Request immediate extraction! Approach the crash site and be ready to pick us up at external access Junction 4C as soon as you get my signal!"
FoehammerCOM: "Affirmative. Echo 419 going on station."
A few moments later, still on the elevator.
FoehammerCOM: (concerned) "Echo 419 to Cortana. Things are gettin' noisy down there. Everything okay?"
"A lot of shit is blowing up." Mine answered as she and the others were hoping how the four are going to rendezvous with Echo-419.
CortanaCOM: "Negative, negative! We have a wildcat destabilization of the ship's fusion drive core. The engines must have sustained more damage than we thought! (Off radio) Analyzing... we have five minutes before the fusion drives detonate. We need to evac now!"
"Hell yeah we do." Leone said.
They reach the top of the elevator and enter a warthog bay.
"Reclaimers, I present to you the Warthog run." Delta declared.
Without wasting time, Wave was on one warthog in the driver's seat with Kurome on the gunner seat and Tatsumi was in another warthog in the driver's seat with Leone in the gunner seat.
"This is going to be exciting!" Lubbock exclaimed.
Warning: Hitchhikers May Be Escaping Convicts
Cortana: "Activating final countdown timer. When it reaches zero, the engines will detonate. The explosion will generate a temperature of almost 100,000,000 degrees. Don't be here when it blows."
Kurome and Wave, along with Tatsumi and Leone drives down the corridor. Flood, Covenant, and Sentinels are fighting all around them. Eventually he nears the site where Foehammer is supposed to extract him. A Spirit flies over and lands.
CortanaCOM: "Cortana to Echo 419! Request extraction now, on the double!"
RawleyCOM: "Affirmative, Cortana. Foe Hammer inbound."
The four arrives at a wide open platform.
Cortana: "Wait, stop! This is where Foe Hammer is coming to pick us up. Hold position here."
The countdown timer freezes. Echo 419 appears around the hull of the Pillar of Autumn, listing badly and flaming at the engines. A pair of Banshees close in on the Pelican.
"Noo…" Leone uttered.
CortanaCOM: "Cortana to Echo 419! Two Covenant Banshees are approaching on your six! Evade! Say again, evade!"
An explosion lurches the Pelican. The starboard wing dips, ablaze, and Rawley yells into the speaker as she passes under the platform.
RawleyCOM: "I'm hit! Mayday! Mayday! Airfoil structures have been shot to hell! I can't hold her! I can't hold her!"
CortanaCOM: "Echo 419!"
Rawley continues to yell into the speaker, her words becoming inaudible as the roar of the damaged engines are heard in the background. She loses control of the Pelican and crashes into the Autumn's hull, showering the air with debris.
Cortana: "She's gone... Calculating alternate escape route."
The countdown timer resumes.
"We'll make it." Leone cheered as she and the others were liking the warthog run.
"This has to be one of the most memorable moments that I ever witness." Lubbock admitted.
"Same." Mez agreed.
Cortana: "The ship's inventory shows one Longsword fighter still docked in Launch Bay 7. If we move now, we can make it!"
The Chief comes around the final S-curve in the corridor.
Cortana: "Chief, up ahead there's a gap in the trench. At top speed, we should be able to clear it!"
The two warthogs clear the massive gap, and proceeds to their destination, with Tatsumi and Leone way behind due to their warthog being flipped.
"Now that's what I call a jump." Najenda smiled
"I have to admit, this is quite memorable." Mine agreed.
In Launch Bay 7, Flood and Covenant remnants fight for supremacy. The Longsword fighter is docked at the bay's far end. A barricade forces Kurome and Wave to dismount from the Warthog and finish the journey on foot.
Cortana: "That's the ship! Move! We need to get aboard, now!"
The Chief, with no weapon in hand, makes a break across the platform for the Longsword, masses of Flood combat forms closing in behind him. He makes it through the open door just before them, and slams the hatch shut.
Cortana: "We're cutting it close!"
The Chief sprints for the cockpit. He braces himself against a wall as an explosion occurs, shaking his head. He reaches the cockpit, jumps into the seat, quickly punches a series of buttons, and takes the controls.
John-117: "Here we go."
The Longsword rises above the platform slowly, turning to face the open end of the bay, and lights its engines, rocketing away from the exploding ship.
Staff Sergeant Johnson struggles with an uncloaked Stealth Sangheili for an assault rifle. A multitude of dead Flood forms surround them, with the Pillar of Autumn in the background.
"There's Johnson!" Leone pointed out.
"But he's going to die." Bulat added, which made the blonde pout in sadness. Delta caught a wind of this and could decide to make them listen to First Strike to make the blonde happy.
Staff Sergeant Avery Junior Johnson: "C'mere you motherf-! I'm gonna... Grrr... ah."
They suddenly stop and turn to see the ship exploding in the distance. The Sangheili lets go of the rifle.
Johnson: "Oh, shi..."
Johnson turns to the Sangheili.
Johnson: "This is it, baby. (affectionately) Hold me."
Hugging Elite: "...mmf."
The two embrace and the Sangheili additionally places his right hand on Johnson's bottom.
The Longsword clears the atmosphere, flying away from Halo. The Master Chief stares straight ahead, piloting the fighter as quickly as he can.
As the Longsword sweeps past the view, the distant side of Halo is drowned out in a blinding explosion as the Pillar of Autumn's engines detonate. A massive shockwave sweeps through the Installation. With its structural integrity compromised, the rotating ringworld begins to fragment. An alarm in the Longsword goes off.
Many of them looked at the destruction if the ring in awe, but they all knew that Chief had to do it for the safety of humanity.
ENGINE TEMP CRITICAL
Cortana: "Shut them down, we'll need them later."
The Chief flips a few switches. The Longsword's engines shut down, leaving it drifting. Debris from the blast hurtles past it, still glowing.
Cortana: "Fancy a look?"
The Master Chief rises from his chair and moves to one of the Longsword's windows. Halo has broken into a few dozen large fragments, all of which are slowly spinning away from each other. As the Chief watches, one massive fragment comes swiftly from the far side of the ring and collides with another, closer one, splitting it in half, and the two go spinning off in a giant gout of fire and debris. Silent explosions spread throughout Halo's remains. The ring has been destroyed.
John-117: "Did anyone else make it?"
Cortana: "Scanning." (pause) "Just...dust and echoes. We're all that's left."
The Master Chief shakes his head and moves back to his seat.
Cortana: "We did what we had to do...for Earth. An entire Covenant armada obliterated, and the Flood... We had no choice. Halo...it's finished."
John-117: "No... I think we're just getting started."
"I think you might have started a knock-off effect." Najenda pointed out.
The Chief removes his helmet, but the cockpit's frame blocks the view of his head. The view tracks the Longsword for a few a moments, Basis looming large in the background, before panning to focus on a large spiral galaxy hanging in the sky, an ornament emblazoned across the heavens.
Fades to black.
Credits roll..
Game ends.
As the game ends, many of them did their stretches before sitting back down before another terminal was played.
Terminal 11
The destruction of Installation 04 is shown. Spark can be seen flying away from it.
343 Guilty Spark: "Quite unacceptable."
"Ugh, well it looks like the sneaky little backstabber survived." Leone grumbled as she hated Sparks for betraying and manipulating them.
"He always took his protocols way too seriously and too far sometimes, Reclaimer." Delta signed.
"He sounds a bit sad." Sheele said with slight pity for the Monitor despite Halo having to be destroyed.
"Affirmative, he did lose the Installation he was responsible and in charge of for 100,000 years." Delta stated sadly.
"It had to be destroyed there was no other way." Najenda responded as Guilty Sparks was planning to activating the Ring. The only thing she sad about was all the marines that probably died because of the explosion.
"I wondered if any marines and crew got off the Ring before it was destroyed." Tatsumi asked as he was hoping that some got out in time.
Delta looked down. "Only a few made it out Reclaimer."
Dorothea and Stylish signed as it was such a waste of good technology and engineering all of it blown into a million pieces.
The screen then goes to his point of view. He is scanning the area for any signs of life. As he scans Threshold, he finds the gas mine.
"What's that?" Chelsea asked Delta.
"That is a Forerunner gas mine meant to harvest gas and transform it into energy. I however suspect my old colleague has made a few modifications to it since he was place in charge of his installation." Delta replied.
It then goes to the mine, where it shows a Unggoy fiddling with something off screen.
"What's that grunt doing?" Wave asked to anybody.
"Probably scavenging." Akame simply stated.
A marksman Kig-Yar walks over to the Unggoy and notices what's he's doing and strikes him with the butt of his Carbine.
"Why did he do that?" Seryu asked.
"Something he shouldn't have been doing obviously." Esdeath said.
"Poor thing." Sheele said with pity.
Unnamed Unggoy: "(Yelps in pain)"
As the Unggoy recovers from the blow, a trickle of blue blood runs down his face. Guilty Spark then enters the room, drawing the attention of all Unggoy and Kig-Yar in the room.
"Probably a bad idea Sparks to come in unannounced." Mine said.
343 Guilty Spark: "Greetings, I am 343 Guilty Spark, monitor of Installation-"
A Kig-Yar then screeches and draws an electric baton and charges at Spark. Enraged, Spark fires a red laser at the Kig-Yar, killing him instantly in defense.
"Woah! Sparks has some powerful weaponry on him!" Dorothea said.
"Of course every monitor is built with such a thing, including me Reclaimer." Delta said.
Some of them start to get a little nervous around her as they don't want to see her angry.
343 Guilty Spark: "Impertinent creature!"
Another Kig-Yar fires an overcharge shot at him. It it simply absorbed by Spark's shields. Once again, Spark fires the red laser. Another Kig-Yar behind him charges another shot, but his hand is cut off from the wrist by an Sangheili with an Energy Sword.
"Wow that was one dramatic way to end the conflict." Leone said as she flinched when that Elite cut off that Jackal's arm.
The Sangheili approaches Spark and kneels before him.
Unnamed Sangheili: "I offer you my life as an amends for this dishonor. An oracle of the gods should never suffer such impertinence from vermin like this!"
"Great now we have religious zealots." Mez whispers to Suzuka as they remember their time protecting Bolic. Both of them snicker at the comment.
"I shall cast them all into the mist below for daring such a blasphemy! and..."
343 Guilty Spark: "Oh my, your people have grown so dramatic in the last 100,000 years."
Night Raid let out a few giggles at what Spark's unexpected statement including Delta.
"Well... that is one way to make a first impression on a devoted follower..." Leone giggled out. Which caused Chelsea, Tatsumi, Wave, and Mine to laugh a little bit.
"But please, no more deaths are required, we will need all the forces we can muster if the Flood escape the destruction of my installation. I must speak to your commander immediately."
"So we finally get to see things from the Covenant's side?" Susanoo asked.
"Affirmative. You will soon find out the history of the Covenant being a little bit similar to the Empire's in a few ways." Delta responded. She wondered how they would react to the Grunt Rebellion where the Grunts actual put up a tough fight against the Covenant for a time.
343 Guilty Spark meets Sesa 'Refumee.
"Who is this guy?" Tatsumi asked.
"That is Sesa 'Refumee Reclaimer. He plays a extremely important role in the sequel that will set in motion events that will affect the outcome of the war." Delta replied.
Night Raid wondered what role he will have exactly and how it will affect the survival of humanity.
Sesa 'Refumee: "Glorious day! The Prophets will be pleased that we have rescued an Oracle from the human violation of the holy temple."
"What is an Oracle Delta?" Dorothea asked.
"It is a long story but in short that is what the Covenant's religion has called us Monitors, they see us as holy guardians of the artifacts the Forerunners who they worship as gods have left behind basically and they are extremely religious about it." Delta responded.
Night Raid had some nervous sweat come down their heads as they wondered what kind of ridiculous stuff the Covenant religion was about specifically.
343 Guilty Spark: "Why do you keep calling it a temple? My installation was a weapon, and one which we needed very, very, badly."
Sesa 'Refumee: "But Oracle, I do not understand. We were told the ring was our salvation, the gateway to paradise."
"Salvation and paradise?! What kind of an egghead told you that!" Mine yelled.
"The fanatical type." Suzuka replied.
343 Guilty Spark: "Told? By whom? Anyone who told you that is either a fool, or quite, quite mad."
"Exactly what I said!" Mine yelled again.
"That installation was a beautiful tool, designed to destroy everything the Flood might feed on."
Sesa 'Refumee: "Everything?"
"Well it looks somebody from the Covenant's side is about to learn the truth at last." Najenda said with some relief that someone will open they're eyes.
343 Guilty Spark: "Oh, quite everything. And if even one Flood Spore survived the destruction of my ring, then protocol demands that all nearby sentient life must immediately be destroyed. An outbreak of the Flood cannot be allowed to take place. But, I am wasting your time. I'm sure you know all this already."
Sesa 'Refumee: "Communications, shut down all lines to the fleet. We will not notify the Prophets of our discovery until I hear all this Oracle has to say."
"Looks like he's taking this seriously." Esdeath said.
"But why shut down all lines to the fleet surely they would listen to them they are part their fleet after all?" Wave asked.
"I doubt it is that simple and I doubt they will reply to such news kindly." Bulat said.
Seryu looked down in shame as she remembered herself being a fanatic for the Empire and what she had done. Bulat was right, they wouldn't respond kindly.
"Indeed it isn't, the Hierarchs would never allow such information to get out to the Covenant's public. They branded as heretics or traitors quickly." Delta said.
343 Guilty Spark: "I will gladly share all that I'm permitted, but we have little time. What has been unleashed here could destroy everything you've ever known."
Sesa 'Refumee: "On that, Oracle, we are in agreement."
It then goes outside the mine, and then pans up to show the wreckage of Halo.
Terminal end.
"Well I can't to see where this is going." Tatsumi said excited for the sequel.
"Me too!" Chelsea said as she elbowed Tatsumi playfully.
"I can't wait to play with my precious Tatsumi some more!" Esdeath exclaimed and tackled Tatsumi to the ground.
"Hey, get off of him!" Chelsea and Mine said in unison and tried to separate Esdeath from Tatsumi. Eventually Leone, Lubbock, Wave, and Akame came to assist the two.
Everyone looked at the scene with dumbfounded looks.
"Indeed, however I believe you need to learn a few things that happened in and a little after the game that you didn't haven't seen yet, before we enter to Halo 2 Reclaimers." Delta responded cheerfully soon pulled out some videos for them to watch.
Next up: Halo 2 All 15 Terminals…. Yes all 15 Terminals on just one chapter.
