Darkness. That's all I could see. It felt as if I were floating with Monty as he dragged me through the shadows again. But I knew that's not what this was. I had died. I had died for Clarke...to save her from Cage. From herself. I had fought for so long, maybe now I'd be able to rest. Just for a moment.

"Um Bell?" Octavia shouted. Just the sight of her made my heart swell with joy. My baby sister was here with me finally. I could be with her and my family for the rest of eternity if that's what we chose.

"O!" I cried. I sprinted to her and scooped her up in my arms, giving her a hug. She giggled as I spun her around.

"Bellamy put me down! This is serious!" She shouted. Her little fists thudded on my back.

"Where am I?" I asked. She rolled her eyes and laughed again, oh how I'd missed her laughter, even in the worst of times it had gotten me through. She was never without her bright spirit, her infectious energy. The thing that made her, HER.

"You're in limbo big brother. They aren't sure what to do with you. But I know exactly what you need." She stated. I needed to be with her, with my family. We needed to be together once more. The accident had torn us apart, they'd been taken from me once before. I wouldn't let that happen again. I set her down finally and gripped her shoulders as I stared at her.

"I don't understand. We're together again. Isn't that what I need?" I asked. She swatted my hands off and looked at me with that stern look she always gave when I swiped the last of the baklava.

"You need to turn around, go back to the living realm and stay there until mom gets you." Her gaze didn't waver. But my heart pounded loudly in my chest, hearing the implication she was throwing in my face. To go back without her. Or my mom and dad.

"O...you know I can't." I mumbled.

"Bullshit. Clarke needs you. Definitely more than we do." Octavia declared. "Mom and dad are in the fields on Elysium enjoying eternal happiness and all that fun stuff. I chose reincarnation, because I want to live again and experience new things I never could. So I'm coming back, but you need to go now. Before this window closes." I looked into her blue eyes and wondered if she was right. Did Clarke really need me?

"Listen to her Bell." She waved a hand and all of a sudden I could see and hear her. Sobs wracked her body as she cradled me close to her chest, her hair no longer made of snakes, but in golden waves slowly becoming dyed red with my blood, her cheeks were slick with tears, she held my face with such despair, her lips came to my forehead and kissed it softly.

"I love you Bellamy." She whispered. I looked over at Octavia who gave me a look that said 'I told you so'.

"Now do you understand? We're doing fine here. She needs you and you need her." Again my heart pounded. Octavias arms wrapped around me as she gave me a hug. I held onto her for dear life, not wanting this to be our last moment together.

"I'll see you around. You'll know when it's me." She whispered. And with that the darkness faded, light burst through my eyes, the pain in my chest from where the sword cut me was now gone, though the blood stains remained. Gasping I sat up, Clarke shrieked and fell onto her back. Clarke looked at me in bewilderment, almost not believing I was truly there.

"Bellamy?" She asked.

"I could have sworn you were a brunette." I smiled. Her laugh rang like sweet bells in my ears, and launched herself at me squealing in delight, wrapping her arms tightly around my neck.

"You're ok!" Joy was prominent.

"You saved me today, Clarke. You've saved me every day since I met you." I pulled back and held her face. Clear blue eyes stared deeply into mine, I knew in that instant I would never leave this woman. Tears fell down her cheeks as she smiled at me, being able to look at her and not be turned into a statue was a new thing, I could count all of her freckles, and see the beauty mark on her upper lip, her brows furrowed as I examined her. It was all new to me. She was beautiful before, but now she was radiant. And I couldn't help myself when I pulled her in close to me and kissed her, I kept my eyes open not wanting to look away, but then I closed them wanting to savor the curve of her lips as she smiled against mine. Our eyes stayed shut for a moment before we opened them and gazed into one another.

"I love you too Clarke."
