Woohoo! Another chapter! This chapter belongs mostly to Raincloud, by the way. Also, Shout-out to "Guestestest", Who reviewed the most and gave me the entire idea of Falcon and Fern. Thanks!

Chapter 21

Raincloud's POV

Raincloud gave Dandelionstream a sympathetic look. Her niece would be giving birth in about a moon, and Dandelionstream had her heart set on leaving in a few days. Raincloud felt slightly guilty for Dandelionstream's frustration at not being able to walk around while she was sleeping.

Raincloud was the one responsible for sending 'The cherry dream' as Dandelionstream referred to it. But Raincloud had to focus on the problem at hand. Foxstar was coming to the moonstone to seek guidance about her unborn kits, which were due in a half-moon.

It was only because Foxstar was so stubborn that Flowershine, the medicine cat, had let her go. But Leaftail, the former Thunderclan medicine cat, had promised Flowershine Foxstar good fortune. Foxstar was approaching the mother mouth now, whispering promises to her unborn kits.

Raincloud had been appointed the Starclan representative, meaning she got to talk to the leaders and medicine cats. Raincloud had left the kits with Rosestream, who was teaching them how to climb trees.

Foxstar was now touching the moonstone and was whisked to Starclan hunting grounds. She opened her eyes and stood shakily to her paws.

"Raincloud!" Foxstar exclaimed.

Raincloud nodded. "I know you come for your kits safety, but tell me what you really want."

Foxstar nodded. "I don't know what to do!" She cried. "Should I give my kits away, or should I keep them? If so, who will be leader in my place? And what If Riverclan takes back Sunningrocks? No offense, of course." Foxstar added.

Raincloud smiled. "In Starclan, there are no boundaries. I do not care for clan quarrels."

Foxstar nodded in thanks. "I don't know, but I feel Oatclaw doesn't love me anymore. I know he has gone on a journey, but I thought my love would go with him."

It had also been Raincloud's idea to get Oatclaw to go with Dandelionstream in hopes of getting them back together. If not, a war could have started.

"I'm sorry, but you must let go of Oatclaw. I have an idea of what you must do to protect your kits and your clan."

Foxstar nodded earnestly, though she looked sad at the prospect of losing Oatclaw.

"Foxstar, you must tell your clan and have the kits. But when they are a moon old, get a queen to nurse them if you have to tend to clan business. Your kits will be just fine."

Foxstar began to fade, and Raicloud said softly, "Love your kits, as they love you."

Dandelionstream's POV

Dandelionstream was woken up by the sound of rushing paw-steps. "Wha happen?" She muttered drearily.

"Hummingbird is kitting!" Called a perky cat named Rose.

Grumbling under her breath, Dandelionstream went back to sleep.

In the morning, Dandelionstream went to Hummingbird's mini-cave to look at the kits. When a cat was wounded, sick, or kitting, the Healers believed that they could treat the cat in their nest.

"How are your kits?" Dandelionstream asked.

Hummingbird's eyes were full of love. "I have three. The brown she-kit with blue eyes is Marcy, after a Cat I met in the Twopawplace. The white and brown tom is `Bug, and the White tom is Blizzard."

Dandelionstream hesitated. "How does it feel to have kits?" She asked.

Hummingbird laughed. "It's the best thing ever! You are filled with love, and you want to do everything for them. It really helps when you have your mate with you. Ha! I sent Flick to go get fresh-kill, and I miss him already!"

Dadelionstream had heard enough. She rushed out of the cave, straight into Oatclaw.

"Umm...hi!" Dandelionstream said awkwardly, before taking a breath.

"I'm so sorry!" She cried. "I want to be your mate again. I just...didn't know what I was feeling. Will you forgive me?"

Dandelionstream held her breath, waiting for what Oatclaw would say.

Cliff hanger!
