Blake slowly steps back. Perci steps back with her, her fists still raised.

"Running away again?" Adam taunts. "This time with a little friend? Is that what you've become, dear? A coward?"

"Why are you doing this?" Blake says.

"You and I were going to change the world, remember?" Adam replies. "We were destined to ignite the flames of revolution! Consider this the spark."

Blake and Perci rush at Adam together. Gambol Shroud collides with Adam's sword, sparks flying. "I'm. Not. Running!" Blake cries as Perci attacks Adam from the side.

Adam recovers. "Oh, you will be." The goat Faunus kicks Blake to the ground before doing the same to Perci. "But not before you've suffered for your betrayal, my love."

Meanwhile...

Students do battle with Grimm and rogue AK-200's, sparks flying, bullets firing, people shouting, Grimm roaring.

Nora sees the hijacked Paladin approaching Ren from behind. "Watch out!" she cries.

Nora pushes Ren out of harm's way, resulting in her taking the hit instead of Ren. "No!" Ren exclaims before taking a metal fist to his face.

Coco Adel raises her minigun and lights up the Paladin with bullets. Velvet and Aris stand beside her.

Neptune fires shots at the Paladin with his rifle. "This is bad," he says.

Coco sighs. "I guess now's a better time than any." She turns to her rabbit Faunus partner. "Velvet!"

Velvet lights up. "Really?"

"Just make them count."

Aris sidles up beside Velvet. "Mind if I get in on this?"

Velvet shrugs. "I don't see why not."

BGM: Battle Against a True Hero - Undertale

Aris and Velvet approach the two Paladins together. The Hylian draws his sword and shield. "Let's put these clankers in the scrapyard where they belong."

Velvet raises her right arm to her side, and from a little box on her back (her camera), a holographic apparition of Crescent Rose appears. Aris gasps. He realizes that the camera was Velvet's weapon all along! That's why she takes so many pictures!

Aris and Velvet leap at one of the Paladins, the Crescent Rose copy and the Blade of Evil's Bane ripping through the mechanical menace. Crescent Rose disappears from Velvet's hand, replaced by a familiar rapier with a revolving Dust chamber. Weiss's weapon, Myrtenaster.

Velvet blocks a blow from the Paladin with Myrtenaster before jumping back, Gambol Shroud appearing. Using the katana's ribbon, she swings at the Paladin and grabs Aris off the ground, throwing him at the mech. Aris catapults into the air and brings the Master Sword down on the Paladin. Velvet replaces Gambol Shroud with Yang Xiao Long's gauntlets, Ember Celicia. She smacks the mech square in the face before jumping back and hitting it with a volley of bullets. Aris contributes by letting loose a hailstorm of Shock Arrows.

Velvet jumps up as Perci's web shooters appear on her wrists. She shoots a web at the Paladin and begins spinning around it, tying the technological titan up and pulling it to the ground.

The other Paladin rushes her and Aris, only to get its left hand chopped off by the Master Sword. Velvet summons a copy of Phantom and Royal, hurling both the daggers into the mech's face. The rabbit Faunus summons a copy of Coco's minigun, pelting the Paladin with a torrent of projectiles.

Velvet dispatches the Paladin with a copy of Magnhild before bringing out a copy of Penny's floating swords to eliminate the other one. She severs both of the Paladin's legs, leaving it vulnerable.

Aris readies a few PokeBalls. "I'll finish it off!" He sends out some of his Pokemon: Rapidash, Salamence, and Gallade. "Triple finish!" he calls out.

Salamence unleashes a continuous stream of Dragon Breath, which is strengthened by Rapidash using Flamethrower. Gallade gets involved by powering up the attack with Psybeam.

The beam of fire and pink energy hits the fallen Paladin dead-on, destroying it instantly.

End BGM

Meanwhile...

"This could've been our day!" Adam exclaims. "Do you not see that?"

"She never wanted this!" Perci cries. "And neither did I! I was never with the White Fang, but I know it well enough to know that what you're doing isn't right! Equality doesn't mean destroying every human in the world! It means that both humans and Faunus have the same rights!"

"That's what I wanted!" Blake adds. "Equality! Peace!"

Blake fires a couple of bullets at Adam, who blocks them with his sword. Perci shoots some webbing at him, but that is also blocked.

"What the both of you want is impossible!" Adam yells. He knocks Blake back to the ground. "But I understand. Because all I want...is you, Blake."

The cat Faunus tries to raise her weapon, but Gambol Shroud is kicked from her grasp. "And as I set out upon this world and deliver the justice that mankind so greatly deserves," Adam says, "I will personally make it my mission to destroy everything you love. Both of you."

"Blake!" cries a voice. It's Yang!

Another voice calls out, "Perci!"

Aris!

"Blake!" Yang exclaims. "Perci! Where are you?"

Blake looks on, terrified. Perci does the same.

Adam smirks wickedly. "I think I'll start with those two."

The goat Faunus draws his sword, stabbing Blake in the hip. The cat Faunus cries out in pain.

"Blake?" says Yang. Aris turns his head.

The two of them notice Adam standing there. Yang rears her fists. Aris draws his sword. "Get away from her!" Yang cries as she leaps at Adam, her right arm ready to strike. Aris jumps with her, the Master Sword raised for the kill.

Adam rears his sword and swings.

Two arms are severed from their owners. One, a right arm that wears a gauntlet. The other, a left arm with a shield strapped to it.

Yang and Aris fall to the ground, each of them unconscious and missing an arm. Adam approaches to finish them off.

Blake and Perci rush to protect Yang and Aris. Adam sighs. "Why must you hurt me, Blake?"

Adam raises his sword and swings. Another person looses a body part: Perci Parker's head comes flying off her shoulders.

Blake...simply fades away into blackness.

Adam looks around. He almost sees Blake carrying the motionless bodies of Yang and Aris out of the ruined dining hall.
