Izuku was sitting in Katsuki's office going over some paper work when Himiko slammed the door against the wall. Her face was red like she had been crying and her arms were covered in cuts. The hero stood up alarmed.

"What happened to you-

"They locked him up! They placed him in a quirk resistant cell! THEY HAVE HIM!" she screamed bloody murder.

Vlad came in after her with a panicked look on his face.

"I tried to calm her down-

"UGH!"

Himiko grabbed his bookcase and slammed it into the ground making Izuku jump up.

Her temper is no joke!

"Calm down babe!"

Izuku tackled her before she could grab his filing cabinet. He forced all his weight down on her.

"Shut up!" he screamed and she snapped her head to the side to stare at him.

"What happened? Screaming and breaking shit isn't going to help!"

Her breathing slowed down before she started crying. She threw her arms over her face and she started bawling like a hysterical child.

"I-I can't do this with him! I can't spy on him and not tell him the truth!"

Izuku sat on her side.

"Tell us what happened. Can you get her some tea or coffee?" Izuku asked looking at her hero boyfriend.

"Y-yes. I'm sorry."

Katsuki knelt down beside of her.

"Go on."

Himiko went on to tell them what had happened. Neither man said anything as she went about what had happened. Izuku managed to keep himself composed when inside, he wanted to cry. He had no idea how she had the willpower to keep a straight face and lock up someone she loved. She finished talking with a weird expression on her face. She held her cup of coffee in her hands but she didn't even bother to drink it.

"I think you did great and this shit is almost over," Kan said, "The next step is to beat his ass."

"We have to plan first."

Himiko shot Katsuki a dirty look.

"Then I finished your surprise just in time," Izuku said with a smile.

"My surprise?"

He nodded.

"We need to plan now, Kacchan. Let's get to business. There's no time to waste."

"Dabi recruited thirteen more villains."

Katsuki sighed.

"Of course he did."

Himiko knocked on Mei's door. They couldn't meet at Izuku's place for safety reasons but someone meeting with a support hero who could build stuff wasn't weird at all. Mei smiled and let her in without speaking a word. Izuku was on the computer screen since he was discussing the situation with Mei and what they were going to do. Everything was happening so fast.

"So... Was is it you want to give me?" she asked.

"Mei, can you give her the box."

The support hero opened the closet in the living room and pulled out a medium sized box.

"I already had a feeling who was going to go against who but this ensures your safety much more."

Himiko glanced at Izuku on the screen then at Mei.

"Go ahead," Mei said.

She lifted the lid to see two pairs of shoes. One dark red and the other a bright pink.

"You... you made me the same shoes you let me borrow?"

"The one I gave you was a half done prototype. When you returned it, it was almost done for. I remade you two types. The pink ones were similar to the prototype. The dark red is something more serious."

Himiko stared at him.

"What do you mean by serious?"

"It's a last resort pair. Once it's cranked up to the highest level, your bones and muscles may deteriorate. I wanted to give you a choice in the matter. I made myself something similar."

She bit her lip.

"It has lower settings. Just... has a more dangerous one."

"Go to the small box inside."

Himiko pulled it out and opened it. One glove was pink and the other black.

"These are similar to the shoes but have one power level setting. It depends on you and how strong you are. It amplifies the strength four times greater. I wanted you to have the edge because it seems you won't be relying on your own quirk."

"There's a suit... It's black and dark red."

"It's something I made to use against Dabi."

Himiko grinned evilly.

"Oh my... You're speaking my language."

Izuku laughed.

"It'll do the job it has once the situation is right. I'll explain more later."

Her face softened some.

"I'm sorry... I just get upset when it comes to Shiggy. I wish he would've listened."

"He had to find out on his own but I really wish it wasn't like this."

Mei leaned in closer to the screen.

"You've been crying... haven't you."

"I was... I really didn't think they would treat him that way. He doesn't deserve that."

"Doesn't he though?" Himiko asked making Mei turn to stare at her, "He hurt you. He cheated on you and went for some asshole who betrayed us."

Izuku closed his eyes and sighed.

"We paint people how we want to see them. What he did for Dabi is what I did for him. There's a difference though- Tomura is a good person. You told me everything... so Tomura painted Dabi as someone who was just confused about his own feelings and he felt that if he had changed, that someone to go home too. I would've never dragged Tomura into a ring of villains and plot a hero's death.

"Yes, he hurt me greatly but being angry would get me no where. It would eat me alive inside to know I screamed or said mean things to him. I know where he came from. I was treated badly as a child by a lot of other people. My own dad had problems with me because of my quirklessness. Even though he was mad at me. Almost hated me, I never blamed him because he couldn't deal with the situation his son was different."

Izuku rubbed his eyes.

"I am not stupid but I know being mean or hateful wouldn't get me anywhere. It would solve nothing and cause more problems. That's why I forgave him the moment he told me the truth. It's why I forgave Kacchan. It's why I forgave my father and everyone else. It doesn't make me better than anyone else... It just makes me the guy who loves an ex villain who so happens to be confused.

"He would've gotten with Dabi even if I was with him or not. Nothing can change that. I can see why he would. After me and Kacchan broke up and even after he hurt my feelings, I still wanted him. I wanted his hugs, his kisses... his words but I didn't see a future with him. Even if I help save Tomura and he wanted nothing to do with me, it would be worth my life to make sure he is ok."

Himiko looked down at the suit.

"It's a shame a hero like you couldn't save us all. Maybe things wouldn't have happened the way they did."

"All we can do now, is fix it. I think we can do it together."

She placed her hand on the screen.

"Thank you Izuku."

Izuku sat in his living room alone.

With everything that was about to happen, he had the time to think... even if he didn't want too. His mind drifted back to when he had met Tomura that night. In a way, Izuku felt like he was too pushy. Almost blaming himself for getting cheated on. He felt... upset the ex villain never told him they were going too fast but... he felt as if he allowed Tomura to set the pace.

He mindlessly flipped through channels. He started thinking about his mom and dad. His father had cheated on his mom when she was pregnant with him. Izuku remembered his sixteenth birthday when he found he had a half sister almost six months younger than him. He was baffled by this until she told him the whole story.

"So... you two weren't a thing?" Izuku asked.

"We were but he thought I wasn't the one for him and he went out... and got with that other woman."

"He betrayed you!" he shouted angrily.

"You're right- he did but I forgave him."

"But... but why?"

It might've been his dad but he was still angry. His mother was so wonderful and perfect. How could he?

"I met her a few times. He doesn't have much to do with her other than your sister."

"Why did you take him back?" Izuku asked, "Why?"

"Love."

Inko tucked her green hair behind her ears and smiled at him fondly.

"Love?"

"Wouldn't you forgive Katsuki if you thought he was your one and only?"

"Ah... NO!" he said throwing his hands in the air.

She chuckled.

"Sometimes people make mistakes. People do stupid stuff thinking it'll make them happy but it doesn't. Sometimes the past catches up and they need a chance to make the right choice... What your father did, did hurt me but I loved him so much. I know he made a very bad choice but I know that's not who he is. He isn't that one bad choice."

Izuku looked at his hands.

"I don't get it."

"Remember when you stole that candy bar when you were little."

"Yea."

"Are you thief?" she asked.

"Well, no."

"Sometimes people become the bad choices they make, others do not."

"Oh."

Inko pulled up her phone and swiped for a short bit.

"Everyone was mad. The worst part of the whole thing, she stole his bank card and all his money. He was never able to get it back but they gave him partial custody of her. He kind of felt like... she was failure if his life because of what he did to me but I love her too. She's part of him. They think he crawled back but that wasn't it."

Inko held up her phone. It was when she was nine months pregnant. The two of them were together.

"I treasured that picture. We got married a week before you were born."

Izuku wrinkled his nose.

"I can't see my life without him. I can't and it hurt me so much to think that way. I told him I forgave him but I needed time to think. I had to be sure. My friend from high school was the only one who thought I should be with him. I made the best decision in my life. I don't regret it at all. I love Alyssa very much. Your father wanted you to be older to find out about her. If you want to meet her, I can take you. She lives in the states now."

Izuku laid, placing the remote on his chest.

I don't... I don't know. Honestly, he does make me happy. I love everything about him.

His eyes started to water up.

The fact he still wants to talk to me says something. There's something there. Mom would tell me that. She would tell me to think it through. She would tell me it would be alright.

Izuku would have to be alright.

Mei is depending on him.

The world was depending on him now.

He sat up quickly.

Hang on Tomura. Even if just saving you is the only thing that happens, it'll be ok.

Who knew my life would come to this.

Tomura stared into the darkest. He had done his best to decay the bars every chance he had but it didn't work. Himiko had only given him a pouch of applesauce and some cheese crackers. Anytime he used his quirk, he felt more drained.

Maybe he was just emotionally drained.

He was beginning to wonder if Himiko actually gave a shit about him or if she had been with Dabi this whole time. The way she looked in his apartment suggested she either hated him or she was super pissed. He wondered what was really going on this whole time. Was she trying for villainy again or was she just playing along to break this whole thing up.

I wonder if Izuku is thinking about me. He hides his pain well but I'm sure he hates me.

He sighed.

I wouldn't blame him because I really hate myself. I might as well just die already.

He cracked his fingers.

I wonder if anyone would come to get me. Or even notice I'm gone.

His eyes started to water slightly.

How fucking sad.
