Yeah, some unique connection to the Chaos Emeralds which will be revealed later on in the story, and alright, I will be posting a few pictures later on.

The next day, at a farm field, Sonic was in a fighting stance protecting Amy as Dr. Eggman and his robot appeared in front of them. The robot charged at Sonic shooting out a light blinding the hedgehog's eyes as they yelled, the light fades away as Sonic looks to see Amy captured, "Whoa" Sonic says, "Sonic!" Amy calls out as the robot flies away with Amy on its beak. "Bring her back!" Sonic says as Dr. Eggman laughs, "If you want her, come save her" Dr. Eggman says, "Oh!" Amy says as she is scared but pulls out her hammer and tries to damage the robot, Amy's dress rips a bit causing her to gasp and drop her hammer, "Help! Hey, that's a brand new dress, buddy" Amy says as the robot didn't care. "Amy, you just hang on tight!" Sonic says as he watches them fly away.

In the skies, the X Tornado flies by with Tails and Michael inside and Raymond on the wing. "Raymond here comes the rings" Tails says, "Okay" Raymond says as the door opens and let's two power rings out, Raymond jumps off the wing and catches one, "Sonic! Catch!" Raymond calls out as he throws Sonic the other ring. "Got it" Sonic says as he caught his before they started glowing and go super spin dash mode and jumping from the farm and launching themselves at the robot making it drop Amy, as the robot's debri flys around, a piece flies into Sonic's ear as Sonic didn't notice, the hedgehog's kicked Dr. Eggman's Egg mobile sending him away, Amy screams as she falls before Sonic dives down and catches her, "Don't worry Amy, I gotcha" Sonic says making her smile, "You're my hero" Amy says as Raymond smiles at the whole thing before they crashed into a hay stack with Raymond crashing into a separate one. A little while later, Raymond decided to let Sonic and Amy have their alone time before leaving as Sonic and Amy were sitting on the haystack looking at the sky as the wind blew. "Isn't this just beautiful? I wish we could stay here for days and just listen to the wind. Oh, wouldn't that be… romantic?" Amy asks as she daydreams until she turns around to see Sonic scratching his ear not paying attention, "Have you been listening?" Amy asks, "Say what?" Sonic asks as he tries to get whatever's in his ear out. The bang on his head causes the piece to go in deeper in his ear. "Oh! You men!" Amy says as she pouts, "Huh, what's wrong?" Sonic asks, confused.
At the mansion, Sonic was still trying to get the piece out his ear as he was on the roof of the garage getting annoyed as Amy was looking at him and Mr. Tanaka checking his car. "Oh! You're impossible! You never hear a thing I say!" Amy says as Chris, Tails, Raymond, Jennifer, Pinky and Michael come by. "Hey, Amy, what's all the shouting about?" Jennifer asks as Pinky chirped in questionly, "Sonic's acting weirder than ever" Amy says, "Huh? What do you mean, he's acting weird?" Tails asks, "Yeah, when I was with you guys, he was fine before" Raymond says "He's off in his own little world" Amy says, "Huh? That's not weird, Amy, that's Sonic" Tails says, "He's worse than ever. He hasn't listened to a single word I've said all day" Amy says, "Well, maybe he's got something on his mind" Chris says, "I should have known you wouldn't understand" Amy says, "Or maybe Sonic's got something in his ear" Raymond says as Pinky agreed, "Yeah, maybe something fell in his ear and he's trying to get it out" Michael says, "Or he's just ignoring everyone today" Amy says as Mr. Tanaka pressed a button on a remote and that caused the piece in Sonic's ear to beep, "Oh!" Sonic says as he hears the beep and groans making the others gasp, Sonic screams as he jumps off the roof and starts running away. "He does seem stressed" Chris says, "He thinks he's stressed? Try being me" Amy says, "That'd be horrible" Jennifer says, "What did you say?" Amy asks as Jennifer chuckled nervously, "Oh, nothing" Jennifer says, "The only way to find out what's really going on with Sonic is to follow him in the X Tornado" Chris suggested as Tails and Michael nod their heads , "I'm gonna go after him on foot" Raymond says as he ran after Sonic.
At the city, cars were driving by as Sonic was still running out of control as he ran on the road. "I don't get it! I can't stop my feet!" Sonic says as the beep continues to ring in his ear, Raymond runs next him, "Hey, man, what's wrong?" Raymond asks, "I don't know! I can't stop running!" Sonic says, "That's weird!" Raymond says as they look to see a few cars coming before side stepping and jumping over making the cars make an emergency stop, "Haha, sorry" Sonic says, "We were cutting it close right there" Raymond says as they continue running. Not far, Sam pulled a man over, "Listen, punk, your car may be cool, but if you don't wear seatbelts, you're a fool" Sam says as the hedgehogs ran past them, "Huh? That was Sonic and Raymond! Thanks to them, you're not getting a ticket today. Now go get a haircut" Sam says as he goes in his car, "I got you now, hedgehogs" Sam says as he turned the sirens on and started driving after the hedgehogs. The hedgehogs ran past between two cars as Sam cut the two cars off, "This is S-Team leader to base. In hot pursuit of highspeed hedgehogs going south on Broad Street, over" Sam says through his radio. "I can't stop!" Sonic says, "Does it have something to do with something in your ear?" Raymond asks, "I don't know!" Sonic says as the X Tornado flies by. "There's Uncle Sam" Chris says, "Looks like he's trying to catch up with Sonic and Raymond" Tails says, "I'm gonna radio him" Chris says as he picks up a radio, "Hey, Uncle Sam, this is Chris" Chris says, "When you're on this frequency, it's "S-Team Leader," got it? Besides, I can't chitchat right now. I'm on a mission" Sam says, "Sorry, but I need to talk to you about Sonic" Chris says, "If you're calling me to ask me to take it easy on him and Raymond, forget it" Sam says, "But Sonic's acting really strange today. We're worried that there might be something wrong with him" Chris says, "There must be if he thinks he can beat me" Sam says as he laughs before speeding up. "He acts weirder than Sonic" Michael says scratching his head. Sam was catching up with the hedgehogs, "I got them now" Sam says as he gets closer but suddenly, Sonic goes super speed and goes past Sam and Raymond, "What's going on?" Sonic asks, "Now he's going faster, something's definitely inside his ear making him run out of control" Raymond says as he tries to keep up the pace, "All right" Sam says as he was about to speed up but his car was out of gas, "Huh? Out of gas" Sam says as he stopped his car, "Those little hedgehogs, may have outrun me this time, but there's always next time. I'll get them" Sam says, Sonic stops speeding up and goes at his normal speed, "Hey, what happened there?" Raymond says as he caught up to Sonic, "Hmm" Sonic says shrugging his shoulders, Sonic runs past a magazine and newspaper stand as the paper flies everywhere making the owner gasp, Raymond runs back and puts everything back in a fast pace, "Sorry about that" Raymond says as he goes running again as the man waves his hand as saying thanks, A truck was coming in front of Sonic a the truck honked it's horn before side stepping and running to the Metro Rail, Sonic speeds past everyone making them grunt in confusion as he runs on the tracks but jumps out the way as two trains were coming, Sonic runs on a train and jumps off running to the other side, "I hope there's light at the end of this thing" Sonic says running in tunnel. The X Tornado flies in circles looking for the hedgehogs. Raymond was running on the street as he was looking for Sonic, "Great, I lost him" Raymond says annoyed before seeing a blue blur coming out of the Metro Rail, "Nevermind" Raymond says as he catches up to Sonic. "There they are" Dwayne says on the wing of the X Tornado, "There heading for the desert" Tails says, "I wonder why there going there" Amy says, "Only Raymond will find out" Jennifer says as Pinky chirps while the hedgehogs run into the desert with the X Tornado following them.
At the desert, the sun was setting and the hedgehogs were still running with the X Tornado following them. "Still running" Amy says surprised as the X Tornado gets closer a bit, Sonic grunts before speeding up going past Raymond, "Now he's speeding up again" Amy says, "But why?" Michael asks as Sonic was scratching his ear again. "Oh!" Amy says as she remembers Sonic and Raymond hitting the robot and a piece of metal falls in Sonic's ear. "Maybe something happened to Sonic when he and Raymond were battling that robot" Amy says, "That could be why he's acting this way" Jennifer says as Pinky chirps, "What could it be?" Chris asks, "I don't know" Amy says, "Let's go talk to my grandpa. He might be able to figure out what's wrong" Chris suggested, "I hope so, because if something's wrong with Sonic, it's because he saved me" Amy says, feeling bad. "Amy, Sonic will save you no matter what, don't worry, we're gonna figure this out soon" Jennifer says trying to make Amy feel better, "Please be okay, Sonic" Amy says, "Looks like Raymond's gonna be up all night" Tails says, "Don't worry, he'll be fine, he'll do anything to sacrifice his time" Dwayne says as the X Tornado turns and leaves. The hedgehogs see them leave as Sonic speeds up, "Well, looks like I'm not gonna sleep tonight" Raymond says as he tries to keep up with Sonic.
In the skies, Dr. Eggman's ship was parked in the sky, "Doctor, here is something I think you will enjoy" Decoe says as he pulls up a surveillance showing Sonic and Raymond running through the desert, this made Dr. Eggman laughs, "Well, well, looks like those hedgehogs are working up quite a sweat" Dr. Eggman says, "Perhaps you might want to do the same, Doctor. You have been getting a bit round around the waist lately" Bocoe says, "What?" Dr. Eggman asks scaring Bocoe, "Cut the wisecracks or I'll waste you, you impudent ash can!" Dr. Eggman says as he watches the hedgehogs, "They must be up to something, but what could it be?" Dr. Eggman asks, trying to figure it out.
Back at the mansion, everyone was in Chuck's secret laboratory as a monitor was up showing Sonic and Raymond still running in the desert. "He doesn't stop, Grandpa. He just keeps on running" Chris says, "We just have to figure out what's wrong with him" Amy says, "The only way to do that is to examine him, but first we have to catch him. And that's not going to be easy, even if Raymond traps him, we need a specific trap that will make him stop running. Hmm. Hmm! I think I may know a way" Chuck says as he told them the plan. Later at night, Amy was watching the garage from the balcony as Tails, Chuck and Michael got to work on the trap before letting out a yawn. Amy gasps as she looks up to the full moon, "What's wrong, Sonic? Where are you?" Amy asks looking at the moon, Jennifer comes outside to the balcony and stands next to Amy looking at the moon, "Still trying to figure what's wrong with Sonic?" Jennifer asks as Amy nodded, "Well we're gonna find out as soon as we catch him" Jennifer says, "But I just feel bad after I let him save me this morning" Amy says in a sad tone, "Amy, don't blame yourself for something you didn't do, If you need someone to blame, then blame Eggman, since he's the one who started this whole thing" Jennifer says as Amy looked surprised, "How do you know?" Amy asks, "I just thought about it since he's the one who striked at us" Jennifer says making Amy a little better, "Don't worry, Amy, Sonic's gonna be okay, besides, Raymond is with him so he has someone looking out for him" Jennifer says, "Thanks, Jennifer, Your like a sister to me" Amy says hugging Jennifer, "So are you" Jennifer says hugging back before they went inside.
Back at the desert, Sonic and Raymond were still running. "Almost there, almost there. Where am I going, anyway?" Sonic asks himself, "Man, when you run out of controllably, you say and ask random things" Raymond says as he lets out a yawn.
Back on Dr. Eggman's ship, Dr. Eggman and his robots were sleeping and snoring.
The sun comes up as it was a new day, everyone has a tent setup as they were gonna try and catch Sonic. "With the help of Tails and Michael, I have devised a plan that I believe will work. It's actually quite simple. Step one, we locate Sonic and Raymond from the X Tornado. Step two, we launch a specially-designed bubble bomb which will hold Sonic securely and lift him off the ground. And once Sonic is off his feet, we can discover what's been causing him to run amok" Chuck says as he imagined how his plan was gonna work from a board, "Yeah!" everyone else says as they get to action. The X Tornado flies by as they located the hedgehogs, "We've got company!" Sonic says, "Oh thank god there here, I'm about to lose it!" Raymond says as his eyes looked bloodshot and black under the eyes. "Targets spotted, Chuck" Amy says to the radio, "Roger, stay alert. Don't let them out of your sight"Chuck says from the radio, "I'll stay on them" Amy says as the X Tornado makes a turn which causes the hedgehogs to follow it. Back at the mission room tent, Chuck was listening through a monitor and looking at the map to where they were, "Get ready" Chuck says as Amy takes out a bazooka and aims for Sonic, "Fire!" Chuck says as Amy fires the bazooka and it hits Sonic on the back, "Yow!" Sonic says in pain as Mr. Tanaka grunts in success and Sonic and Raymond stop in front of them, the bubble inflates making Sonic float in the air. "It really worked" Amy says, "Raymond, I made some soap for you," Jennifer says as Raymond goes and sits down before closing his eyes. "Whoa. Whoa! Look, guys! I'm flying!" Sonic says as he laughs, "Whoa! Whoa!" Sonic says as he went a little higher in the air, "Hey, get me down! I'm floating away!" Sonic says as the wind blows him away, "Brian, how much helium did you put in that balloon?" Michael asks as Brian chuckled nervously.
At a forest, Sonic was still screaming as he was floating around. "Help me! Somebody get this thing off of me" Sonic says as he continues to scream and Knuckles looks from the above. "What now?" Knuckles asks, "Hey, Knuckles! Help me, help me!" Sonic says as Knuckles picks up a rock and throws it at the ballon, making it pop and dropping Sonic, Sonic falls and hits a branch before going in the river, he jumps out the river and runs on the water, Knuckles gets ready incase Sonic does something as Sonic speeds past him causing a fish to land on his hand. "Huh? What the? Huh?" Knuckles says as he looks at the fish.
Back in the desert, they were trying to come up with another plan. "Now what do we do?" Mr. Tanaka asks, "Do you think he'll come back?" Chris asks, "I'm worried" Daisy says, "Should we go follow wherever he is?" Tiny asks, "It's all my fault" Amy says, "Just too much helium" Chuck says as they turn around to see Knuckles walking in with the fish in his hand. "Well, Sonic, just tried to run me over" Knuckles says, "Looks like we got dinner for tonight" Dwayne says as Knuckles hands him the fish, "Great! Did you stop him?" Amy asks, "He missed me" Knuckles says chuckling, "Well, I'm not gonna miss ya" Amy says taking her hammer out, "What's the big deal? All I did was step aside" Knuckles says sweat dropping, "It isn't his fault, Amy" Cream says as Cheese and Pinky chirp, "Cheese and Pinky are right. I bet you come up with a new way to help Sonic after you have a nice hot lunch" Ella says carrying a pot of soup, "Yeah, let's take 5 on that one" Jennifer says taking the hammer away from Amy. Everyone was eating lunch on a picnic blanket while Raymond was taking a nap. "I bet poor Sonic must be starving by now" Amy says, "I'm sure he's fine, Amy" Emily says as Tails was eating a piece of bread before a tumbleweed comes and makes Tails roll, "Whoa!" Tails says as Brian and the others chuckled a bit. "That game looks like a lot of fun, Tails" Cream says as Cheese and Pinky chirp while Tails keeps rolling over. "That's it!" Chuck says as he comes up with another plan. "Knuckles and Dwayne will wait at the top of the hill with a specially engineered wheel trap. As Sonic approaches, we'll give the signal, and Knuckles and Dwayne will roll the wheel down the hill, trapping Sonic inside. He'll be like a hamster in a cage" Chuck says, "Yeah!" the others say as Raymond wakes up, "Hamster in a cage, more like Hedgehog in a dryer" Raymond says chuckling at his joke. Sonic was still running as he notices an arrow pointing left and goes and follows the arrows. "All right, Tanaka, he's almost in position" Chuck says, "Right" Mr. Tanaka says as Sonic is getting closer, "Roll it!" Chuck says as Mr. Tanaka waves a blue flag at Knuckles and Dwayne as the Echidna and Bear use all their strength to push the wheel down the hill, Sonic sees the hill and keeps going as Chuck let's a thumbs up out to Sonic, making Sonic chuckle. The wheel and Sonic get close as Chuck presses a button trapping Sonic on the wheel as the wheel puts stands out with Sonic running on it. "Haha! Hey, Grandpa, it works" Chris says, "Of course, it does" Chuck says as the wheel opens a tray with water and a Chili dog, "I thought you might be hungry after all this running" Amy says as Sonic takes a bite of the chili dog, "Pretty tasty!" Sonic says, feeling better. Chuck, Amy, Knuckles, Dwayne and Raymond noticed Sonic was getting tired by letting out a yawn and closing his eyes. "He looks like he's falling asleep," Amy says, "That's good. If he falls asleep, he'll have to stop running" Chuck says, "Maybe I can help, Sonic. Want me to read you a bedtime story?" Amy asks, "No, thank you, Amy" Sonic says in his sleep.
Back at Dr. Eggman's ship, Dr. Eggman and his robots were watching Sonic run on the wheel. "That looks like fun. Exercising I mean. I'm going to start" Dr. Eggman says, "You should" his robots say, "Tomorrow" Dr. Eggman says as he takes a bite on his donut. "Oh, Dr. Eggman, tomorrow never comes" his robots say as they continue to watch Sonic.
Back in the desert, Sonic's nap didn't slow him down. "Looks like Sonic's nap isn't slowing him down at all. He's going even faster" Chris says, "I've never seen anything like it. His energy must be positively boundless" Chuck says, "Sonic has more power than my food processor" Ella says, "Looks like I'm gonna need to exercise and catch up to Sonic" Raymond says as Sonic continues to run. "Sonic, that wheel wasn't built to withstand this intensity" Chuck says as the wheel is beginning to burn up, "Knuckles, Dwayne, look out!" Tails says as the hook breaks off making everyone gasp and Knuckles and Dwayne get out the way but Knuckles gets caught by the wheel and is flattened. This made Sonic turn the wheel flat and drill through the floor like it was a saw blade and going down, The others looked at the bottom to see if Sonic was alright but a vibration was felt. "Run!" Chuck says as they all ran in separate directions before water came out with Sonic riding it as he yells in excitement. "Well, that was a washout" Chuck says embarrassed, "Back to the drawing board" Michael says as they take a break. At sunset, everyone was discussing another plan to catch Sonic. "So far your plans haven't worked, have they?" Amy asks, "Not quite, but I'm confident that if we just keep trying, we'll eventually come up with the plan that will work" Chuck says as he looks over to Knuckles who was getting cream on his back by Ella, "Hmm. I've got it!" Chuck says as they all looked at him confused, "In fact, it's the best plan I've had all day. We just need a little help from a friend. Mm-hmm!" Chuck says as he told them the plan. At night, Sonic was still running even with his eyes closed and arms down.
Back at Dr. Eggman's ship, they continue to watch Sonic. "Sonic, is running himself ragged. He must feel as worn out as an old sneaker. This would be a perfect time to launch a sneak attack against him. Ready?" Dr. Eggman asks, "Aye, aye" the robots say, "I'll destroy him right after my nap" Dr. Eggman says as he snores, "Please, Doctor" Bocoe says as the lights went out of the ship, "Now is not the time for snoozing" Decoe says as they all went to sleep.
The sun rises once again on a new day, "Right on time" Chuck says looking at the time on his watch before looking up to see Sam's car coming, Sam parks and hops out his car, "I would've been here sooner, but I stopped for doughnuts" Sam says, "I appreciate you coming to help us out, Sam" Chuck says, "You can always count on the Speed King to put the rubber to the road when a friend needs help" Sam says, "Yeah, about that, I'm the Speed King on that note" Raymond says pointing at himself as Sam looked shocked, "What?! Since when?" Sam asks, "Since I won that race we had" Raymond says, "Oh well see about that next time, hedgehog" Sam says as sparks shoot out between them. "Alright Sam, then, let me bring you up to date to our plan" Chuck says as he and Raymond explain the plan. "Now, we all know Sonic has quite a competitive streak, just like you do, Sam" Chuck says, "It's Speed King, Chuck" Sam says, "No, it's Speed Tertian. Anyway, the plan is to have Speed Tertian challenge Sonic to a test of speed" Raymond says, "But unbeknownst to Sonic, a trap will be set at the end of the finish line" Chuck says, "Speed Tertian will get on Sonic's right side in lane two. Sonic will be forced to race in lane one beside him, and that will lead him straight into our trap" Raymond says, "Then Sonic will be out of the running. Now let's get ready for the race, shall we?" Chuck says, "Yeah!" Everyone says, "That's like the third time we did that, and it only happens when another person comes in" Raymond says as they began the plan. With Sonic, he was still running and the X Tornado was following him from above and Raymond ran next to him from afar. "Standby. He's almost there" Amy says to the radio, "Roger, I'm ready" Sam says as he sees Sonic from his side windows. "Go!" Amy says as Sam starts driving fast with Sonic keeping up, "Whoa" Sonic says as he almost trips from a rock while Sam was in front of him. "What's the matter, slowpoke. Can't you do better than that?" Sam asks as Sonic tries to keep up, Sonic side steps but Sam blocks him a few times and Raymond looks and face palm's "Oh my god! What are you doing? This isn't a real race! You're supposed to be a decoy" Raymond says on the radio, "Guess again hedgehog. He beat me to second place, it's not gonna happen twice"Sam says from the radio, "I thought Sonic was an idiot, but now you're being a bigger idiot" Raymond says as he hangs up. Sam was speeding past Sonic, "Oh, yeah" Sonic says as he catches up. Back at the mission room tent, Chuck sees that they're getting close to the trap, "They're getting close to the finish" Chuck says, "Remember, Speed Tertian, whatever you do, keep Sonic in the right lane"Raymond says from the radio, "Right lane? I thought I'm in the right lane"Sam says from the radio, "That's right, just stay in lane two. Remember you're number two, number two" Raymond says from the radio, "Not me, brother. I'm number one" Sam says as he laughs before boosting to Lane 1 where the trap is so everyone gasps to what happened while Sonic goes to Lane 2 and continues running. "That didn't work out too well" Amy says, "I told you he was an idiot" Raymond says from the radio. "Hey, Chuck, Michael, I'm picking up something weird in my scopes. Do you guys see it down there too?" Tails asks, "Yes, I've noticed it myself, Tails"Chuck says, "I recorded the wave patterns. Maybe you and Michael can analyze it and figure out what it is" Tails says. Back at the tent, a radar was picking up a reading, "From what I can gather, it's some kind of strange magnetic force field" Chuck says, "It appears emanating from that ranch up ahead" Michael says as he looks at the radar. "I'll go check it out" Raymond says as he left
Back at the farm, the robot was being chased by a cow as the X Tornado flew above them. "Ready up there, Tails" Amy asks, "I'm ready when you are," Tails says as he lowers the X Tornado. "Okay, Tails. Keep it as steady as you can" Amy says as she gets out of her seat and goes on the wing with her hammer out. The X Tornado lowers and the robot turns around to see Amy before ducking it's head, making Amy confused. The robot fires an electric wave making Amy scream as the robot gets electrified too and it's leg comes off. "Amy!" Sonic calls as he knocks the robot down making the piece from his ear fall out and making the robot blow up. Sonic goes inside a haystack. "Sonic!" Amy says laughing as she jumps in the haystack, they pull out of the haystack, "Sonic, I was so worried" Amy says before Sonic scratches his ear. "Now, what's the matter?" Amy asks, "Something's in my ear again" Sonic says, "Oh!" Amy says as she blows the haystack out of his ear. "Hmm" Sonic says feeling better, "Ahem" Amy says giggling, "Yeah, that feels much better, thanks" Sonic says as he lays down on the haystack making Amy laugh a bit as the breeze blows, Raymond sees this and smiles knowing Sonic's all better now, "Alright, Operation Strategic Capture is closed, good work everyone" Raymond says through the radio and everyone packed and went home and decided to relax for the rest of the day.
