A/N

Lexa and Indra reached Titus's chamber. Once they enter they seen that Aden is tied up to a chair and looks to be knocked out. She notices there is a needle on the floor...looks to be used on Aden.

"Titus! What is the meaning of this!" Lexa yelled in fury.

"Since, I couldn't get the child that Indra has heavily guarded I had to go to plan b, to your favorable Natblida. Who is the only one left." Titus threatened to hold a gun to Aden's head.

"Put the gun down Titus. He's just child." Indra said.

"A child that Heda thinks of her son, just like Wanheda's. To be a commander is to be alone. No feelings for anyone or anybody! I've taught that since before, you were ascended now you seem to throw my teachings away, bedding with Wanheda!" Titus yelled.

The drug Aden was injected with has worn off, he tries to move and can't then he looks up to see Titus has gun pointed at him.

"Heda!" He yelled out trying not to panic.

Lexa made a risky move and stood in front of Aden, Titus pulled the trigger and shot Lexa in the shoulder. A through and through the bullet wound. Indra hits Titus with the butt of her sword and ordered the senteries to arrest him until further notices. Lexa unties Aden tells him to go find Klark and tell her to meet her in medical holding her wound.

"Heda, let me help to the healers." Indra said seen that Lexa is holding her shoulder.

"Klark!" Aden ran into the dining hall shouting.

"Aden?" Clarke stood up in from her seat.

"Titus shot, Heda, she needs you!" Aden shouting again tears coming down his face.

"WHAT! Mom stay with them. I must go!" Clarke announced quickly leaving the room with her ten guards following her.

Clarke made it to the medical type area rushing in checking how bad the wound is. It went through and through so it's not that bad. Clarke immediately started working on Lexa. Stitching up the back shoulder putting bandage patch over it then working stitching the front again putting another bandage patch to cover it. The healers in the room were amazed at how quickly she was able to stop the bleeding and close it. Clarke cleans off the black blood around the area and sits there waiting for Lexa to wake up.

Three hours later...

Clarke has fallen asleep beside Lexa holding her hand. Lexa wakes up finally looking over to her side and sees Clarke exhausted and waiting for her to waken. She reaches over holds Clarke's face in her hand. Clarke feels something on her face and wakens looking at Lexa.

"Hey." Clarke said being relieved she's okay.

"Hey." Lexa said back just looking at her.

"I thought, I lost you." Clarke said with a tear trailing down her face.

"I'm right here." Lexa said tightening her hand in Clarke's.

"You've lost so much blood. I didn't know if you were going to make it." Clarke said leaning over kissing her.

"Shh...I'm here because you took care of me." Lexa replied kissing her back.

"Are you ready to go back to our chambers? Madi and Aden are worried about you too." Clarke asked.

"Yes. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to have worried them. I'm fine just a scratch." Lexa mentioned.

"Let me get Indra, she's waiting outside." Clarke stood up and kissed her again then left to get Indra to help her.

Indra gently sets Heda on the couch as Clarke goes to the closet grabbing a halter top to change into for the time being. Indra leaves the room to give them privacy.

"Why couldn't he shoot the other shoulder that had the armor on it?" Clarke asked as she unbuckles her armor and unbuttoned her jacket top.

"It's too practical to shoot the non-armored shoulder than the armored one." Lexa said hissing at the pain.

"Hey slowly." Clarke said finally getting her jacket top off. Helping her slip the halter top on and tie the back.

"Thank you." Lexa thanked her, feeling relieved there's no pressure on the wound.

"You'll need to rest. Nothing physical until you healed. We don't want them opening and have black blood all over the room." Clarke ordered.

"Why not? Could be fun covered in my blood." Lexa joked.

"No thanks. You've already lost so much blood, I don't need you loosing anymore." Clarke stated.

"Is Aden okay?" Lexa asked.

"Yes, he was scared he was going to lose you too." Clarke said.

"Where are they now?" Lexa asked again feeling tired again.

"They are with my mom and Kane." Clarke said moving Lexa forward a bit without hurting and sits behind her, letting her lay against her.

"They should be inside the tower. I don't know if their still a threat." Lexa said before falling asleep.

"Madi! Aden!" Abby shouted their names.

"Yes!" They shouted back.

"Let's go back inside, I heard Leksa is resting her room now." Abby said.

They both got excited and started running toward the tower with their guards still trailing behind them.

"I think Clarke and Lexa have more than one child." Abby watched them running off.

"It seems like Aden acts like an older brother Madi. Just like Bellamy and Octavia." Kane said.

"I hope Bellamy doesn't come after Lexa. She'll be leaving behind two adorable children that adore her and Clarke. Clarke has had a rough few years. This is the happiest I ever have seen her. I don't want Bellamy to ruin it for her." Abby said entering the tower.

"I don't think Lexa intends to fall anytime soon." Kane mentioned.

"She may be knowing Clarke and children are cornered." Abby said having scenarios in her head.

"She won't, Clarke won't allow it. Clarke may be younger than Lexa, but, has already been in those situations. One she will regret for the rest of her life. But, she won't make that mistake ever again. This time it isn't going to be for her people, it'll be for her family." Kane explained reassuring the commander won't fall.

"For their sakes, I hope she doesn't fall. She does have a family to think about. Will she still be able to separate duty and emotions when it comes?" Abby asked stepping out to their floor.

"Of course, she's able to do it with Madi and Clarke around. Aden is just another variable in their family. She'll be just fine." Kane said watching the children enter Clarke's and Lexa's room quietly.

They turn around heading toward their own room, once they know the children are safely in their mother's room.
