Hey guys, I bring more to you. This story is really coming along...but I hope you don't mind the slow burn that it will take Snape and Amelia to come together in the future chapters...I know a lot of fics seem to rush the Potions Master into a relationship, but I don't see Severus Snape rushing into anything. So anyway, I hope you have a few questions answered and a few more popping in your head with the text below. Enjoy.

I didn't know where I was, I remembered falling asleep on Professor Snape's worn leather couch. Having to curl my legs into my chest, as it was freezing; now I was in some sort of cemetery. Looking at the graves I was surprised to see familiar names within the stones. 'Here lies James and Lily Potter…..' Why was I standing at the final resting place of my bully's deceased parents. Honestly, as much as I thought the boy was horrible at being a decent human being; I still felt guilty at intruding on his parents' place of rest.

"Amelia…" A voice whispered, looking around with confusion...whoever it was..I could tell she was female, and I guessed very wise. The familiar pale blue light of a Patronus caught my attention to my right, my eyes met the swirling charm; before it morphed into a doe. Professor Snape's Patronus was a doe….but this was clearly female. "Hello, Amelia."

"Hello?" I asked softly, looking at the doe.

"Do not be afraid, I have been sent here to warn you." The voice explained calmly. "You see the fallen from the past, lying at your feet below the ground. It is you, who can help prevent history from repeating itself."

"I don't understand…" I whispered softly. "Who are you?"

"You know my name, you just are not ready to say it. Now, you do understand who Voldemort is?" The voice asked calmly. "He has been cast into a weakened state, due to the greatest of all magics...the love only a mother can give."

"When Potter's mother sacrificed for him." I replied calmly, watching the doe dance softly; before looking back. My eyes went huge at seeing the names on the stone change. 'Here lies Lucius and Narcissa Malfoy.'

"You will face many difficult decisions, make the correct ones and all these lives can be saved." The voice explained, but I couldn't tear my gaze from the stone. A gust of cold wind caught my attention, before I saw several more stones with more names.

Draco, Crabbe, Goyle, Gemma, McGonagall...and so many more surrounded me. My eyes locked on the one farthest to the right, seeing my name dancing upon its smooth surface. "I don't care if I were to suffer death." I whispered softly, before looking just a little to the left to find another name...I would hate to ever have to bury. 'Here lies Severus Snape.'

"I knew you would say that, you would rather be forgotten and have the ones you hold dear stay in the world of the living." The voice replied calmly.

Looking over to the doe once again, I spoke calmly. "I have never dreamed of how I would die, but dying in the place of someone I love….seems to be the way to go."

"Beautifully put." The voice replied calmly. "I will see you often, but listen well. The decisions you make, can save lives or kill them all. You must be prepared to make the choices you never thought you would."

"If I make the right ones, can I save everyone?" I asked softly.

"Possibly even yourself." Was the reply. "Severus is waking now, so I will let you go."

I watched as the doe began to disperse, taking the wise female voice with it. The stones slowly began to darken, before I turned to the first one. Seeing the two names of those who died in the past, before it two disappeared leaving me in my darkness.

"Miss Swan." The deep voice of the Potions Master could be heard, as I began to get my bearings in the real world. "Miss Swan. Wake up."

"Hmm...Professor?" I asked confused, before looking into his eyes as I uncoiled from my cold fetal position.

His obsidian eyes watched me, an eyebrow raised, while his lips were in a tight line. "What are you still doing here?"

"I couldn't get out of your wards without waking you….and I didn't want to disturb your sleep." I replied.

He looked at me in mild surprise. "Be it as that may be, this is still highly inappropriate. I am your Professor, you should not sleep in my quarters."

"I'm sorry, it wasn't planned you know." I replied calmly, moving to sit up...my back popping painfully. "Ow."

"Are you alright?" Professor Snape asked me, while helping me to stand.

"Yeah...Are you?" I asked in response.

He looked surprised once again, before shaking his head as he moved to the door. "Come, let us go to breakfast."

"Amelia?" I heard, right as Professor Snape and I walked down the hall towards the staircase. Turning I saw Draco walking up, a look of confusion on his face. "Where did you come from?"

Looking towards the man in question, before turning back to my brother unsure what to say. Luckily Professor Snape spoke before I could. "Your sister fell asleep in the chair by my desk, I simply let her be."

"Oh…." Draco replied, and I could tell he didn't believe a lick of it.

'You know he doesn't believe you.' I told the Professor, who looked at me curiously.

'Tell him whatever you like, I will have to inform your father on everything.'

'You sure?' I asked, not wanting him to feel obligated on anything.

"Mr. Malfoy, could you please take your sister to the Great Hall." Professor Snape spoke out loud. "I owe you, Miss Malfoy." My eyes went huge at that, the fact he said it out loud spoke more volumes.

Apparently it had impressed and weirded my brother out, because he turned quickly as the older man left us behind. "What did you do?"

"Dumbledore sent Professor Snape yesterday, to apprehend Sirius Black…..I was told to accompany him." I explained.

"What?!" Draco cried in shock. "Dumbledore sent you with Snape, to go and apprehend a known criminal...a murderer."

"Actually that last bit isn't true." I replied simply, which confused my brother. "I think I was sent due to my sight, and I saw Black for who he was...he's not necessarily a good man...but he's not a murderer either."

Draco listened, calmly. "So, Dumbledore sent you in hopes you would see that?"

"I don't know why Dumbledore asked me to go with him, I do know it's a good thing I did. Potter attacked Snape." I explained.

"Woah." My brother breathed. "You're pulling a Mickey on me right? Potter attacked Snape, and he is still enrolled in the school."

I nodded. "I stayed behind while the others left the Shrieking Shack, applying the healing charms that were needed."

Draco nodded calmly. "That doesn't answer why you were down here all night?"

"Professor Snape had to take a few potions last night. The three he took caused him to become quite high, I got him to bed and didn't wish to wake him to get out of his wards.." I explained calmly. "I camped on his couch."

My brother was silent, before he nodded. "Okay."

"You're going to give me hell for this." I muttered.

Draco smirked evilly. "Why sis, you do know me...or should I call you the future Mrs. Snape?"

"Brat!" I squealed instantly, while wrapping him into a tight embrace. "So, you're not mad at me?"

"You? No. Dumbledore? Yes." He replied, while pecking me cheek. "I love you Mudblood, you are my family."

"Thank you, brother." I replied as we walked to the Great Hall together where McGonagall pulled me to the side.

"Professor Snape informed me that you fell asleep on his couch?" She explained, an eyebrow raised.

"Yes, Professor." I replied softly. "It wasn't meant to happen like that, but after he took all the potions...I didn't want to wake him after he was asleep."

She nodded calmly. "He explained as such, so you are not in trouble." A smile formed on her face. "I am simply making it known that you have received fifty points to Gryffindor for helping one of your teachers."

"It was the right thing to do, I don't deserve all those points." I explained.

"Take it up with Professor Snape, and Dumbledore." She explained calmly. "They are speaking with your father right now."

"How much trouble am I in?" I couldn't help but ask.

McGonagall looked on with sympathy in her wise gaze, could she have been the voice from last night?...No, her Patronous was a cat, and I would recognize her voice. Damn. "Professor Dumbledore assured me, he would keep you out of trouble."

"Doesn't mean that I won't be." I replied calmly. "I just hope Dad isn't mad at Professor Snape, he didn't do anything wrong...and was quite adamant on me not going."

"I know, you both in the end did it to appease the Headmaster." The older woman replied calmly. "Do not worry about any of that, you have saved an innocent man today...and helped to identify the real murderer...go and sit with your brother and friends."

"Thank you, Professor." I replied, moving quickly away as I sat down with my brother however...I noticed three sets of eyes on me. The Golden Trio were all looking at me, with a new emotion in their usually heated gaze. They didn't seem nearly as spiteful, or downright hateful.

Crabbe seemed to notice this as well. "What did you do, in order to gain pleasant looks from Potter and his friends?"

"I have no idea." I replied simply, feeling oddly disturbed by the change of events.

"Well maybe if they stop hating you, you can return to your common room?" Goyle asked.

I looked at him. "Why would I do that?"

"I don't know, have a place to associate with friends." He suggested.

Blaise looked at him strangely. "She has that, it's called the Slytherin common room. She frequently takes up residence."

"Proudly." I replied with a grin.

Lupin stopped me during the day, I was a bit skeptical as he pulled me to the side. "I wanted to apologize to you, I didn't mean to lead you on…." He spoke softly, his aura was calm, genuine. However, I couldn't be sure. "I see you are looking at my aura, what you see rippling through it..is my wolf. Sirius can see auras as well, he's said the same thing."

"Sirius Black as the sight?" I asked, surprised.

"No, he can only see bits and pieces of auras. He can tell however, when someone else possesses the gift." Lupin explained, "I always suspected it had something to do with his canine traits."

I nodded calmly, It made sense when he put it like that. "How come you didn't know?"

"I am a werewolf." He replied calmly. "My wolf side probably can see it, my human half however…."

"You don't have to explain...I am sorry for doubting you." I replied, which caught him off guard.

"Amelia, you had every reason in the world too. I lied, and there is no excuse for it." Lupin-excuse me Professor Lupin explained.

"Professor." I whispered. "You were trying to save your friend...a friend who was wrongly convicted that speaks volumes on your character. It shows you love your friends like family, and you will do anything to protect them." My words caused a look of surprise to overcome his features again. "I don't know if you will be returning...but even if you don't..please write to me, let me know you're okay."

"I swear it." He said after a few moments. "You really do have the purest of hearts."

"I don't know about that, I am human after all." I replied with a laugh, which he returned wholeheartedly.

He grinned for a moment more before speaking. "Everyone on the staff was correct, you are the embodiment of Hogwarts." He said, confusing me. "In time your fellow Gryffindors will see your merit….just as I do."

I was about to ask what he meant, when my father and Dumbledore walked over to us. "Hello, Daddy." I greeted the tall blond, before being swept up in his arms.

"Hello, Princess." He greeted, kissing my head warmly; before looking up to Professor Lupin. "Remus."

The blue eyed Professor just smiled at my father. "Lucius, you must be so proud of your children. Draco is exceptionally brilliant and it does show in his school work and on the Quidditch field." He looked down at me, with a smile. "And, Amelia here. She is the very foundation in which Hogwarts was founded, she will do many brilliant things in the future. I only hope I live and breathe to see it."

"As do I." Dumbledore added, shocking me but I adopted my favorite Professor's blank look to not show it. "You my dear, spend far too much time with Severus."

I shrugged. "I enjoy what he teaches me." I replied calmly.

Dumbledore smiled, but it looked like he was looking at me with that of an X-Ray. "I think it's more, you genuinely like Severus and value him as a teacher...but you also care for him."

"He has a genuine aura." I replied calmly. "I know I can always trust him."

My father seemed a little hesitant with that, before he pulled closer to him. "Severus told me, you healed him...when he was attacked by Potter…"

"I wouldn't leave him while he was hurt." I replied firmly.

Dumbledore smiled. "A healer in the making." Something about the way the older man said that rubbed me wrong..well okay let's be honest everything this man says has a double meaning.

He was hiding something, my father was hiding something, Professor Lupin seemed to be hiding the same thing...as I noticed the three looking at one another. What it was, I did not know...but believe Me I was going to find out.

I hope you all enjoyed this chapter, and hope you especially enjoyed Amelia forgiving Lupin..I really want those two to continue being friends for reasons that will be revealed in the future. Anyway, let us get to the questions shall we?

1) The embodiment of Hogwarts...What do you suppose Lupin meant when he said that?

2) How much do you think Draco will playfully tease as brothers do, with the knowledge of Amelia sleeping in Snape's quarters?

3) Can you guess who the voice was in Amelia's dream?

4) What do you think of the prophecy that was shared with Amelia in her dream?

5) Do you think Potter's views on Amelia will change in the coming years?

Feel free to answer them all if you like. :)
