Well we are probably getting down to the final chapters in this story. I hope you all have enjoyed it. I'm leaving for vacation at the end of the week so my goal is to finish this so you guys don't have to wait super long. Hopefully that works out.

Padme watched in the corner as all the ships were preparing to leave. She watched Rex guiding his men into transports all of them fully loaded with weapons and blaster. She saw Bail and Mon talking with Obi-wan and Ahsoka. She watched Bail put him hand on Obi-wan shoulder and they all nodded their heads goodbye as the two Jedi walked away. She looked around at the crowds of people all getting ready and putting the finishing touches together for a battle they all hoped to win. No, they had to win. There were no second chances at it.

Her eyes drifted over to another person walking out from behind one of the transports. She felt her heart flutter in her chest seeing her strong, brave love. He was in Jedi gear with a few added pieces of armor for protection, even thought that amour wasn't going to stop a lightsaber.

"Why the glum face?" She looked up and saw Anakin walking over to her.

"I'm not glum." Padme said knowing her feelings were betraying her.

He moved his gloved hand and brushed the side of her face. She shut her eyes and moved her hand over his. "I thought we talked about this. There is no need to worry. I'm going to back and when I do you are going to be even busier. Without a Chancellor or an Emperor or any sort of leader, the galaxy is going to need people with voices, people like you."

She shook her head and opened her eyes looking up into Anakin's blue ones seeing a confused look on his face.

"What do you mean no?" He asked.

"I'm done with politics, after all this, Ani. It's too busy of a life style to raise a child and once the queen finds out I'm pregnant, she will agree with me." Padme said.

"But you love politics and paperwork and meetings and all that other boring stuff." Anakin said causing her to chuckle slightly.

"Those aren't the reasons I enjoy it and you know it." She felt his arms wrap around her waist as her hands moved to his hair. "Besides, there are other things more important."

"Right you are, my angel." He smiled placing a longing kiss on her lips.

She gripped his hair harder afraid this will be the last.

"Hey lover boy. Are you coming?" They both looked over and saw Ahsoka standing with her hands on her hips.

"I guess it's time to go." Anakin rested his forehead on her's, feeling his fear creep back.

"I love you, Ani." She said.

"I love you." Anakin said giving her one last kiss before walking towards Ahsoka.

"Don't worry. I'll make sure he comes back good as new. Maybe even better." Ahsoka told her.

She gave her a small smile and prayed to the force they all would come back alive.

"My lord, the rebels just left making their way to the Senate building. Their numbers are larger than expected, but not enough to win." The rebel spy informed Palpatine.

"I supposed this clone army is only but a distraction. I sense Lord Vader's arrival. I'm sure he will be making his way to me. The clone battle will be of no concern to him." Palpatine said to the hologram.

"Wouldn't it be wise to leave before he arrives?" The spy asked.

Palpatine said a short laugh. "Vader is not as strong and powerful as the rebel thinks. I can take him easily."

"Kenobi and that Togruta girl will be with him, my lord." The spy informed him.

"I expected much, but no worries. I have plans for them as well." Palpatine said.

"Very well, my Lord. I shall be arriving shortly after the rebels." The spy said before signing off.

You think you are strong and powerful now Vader? Strong enough to defeat me? He shook his head as a smirk formed on his face. Yet again you will fail like you always do.

Palpatine moved to his window waiting for the arrival of this so called army and his former apprentice.

With everyone still in the landing area as the last of the transport left, Padme walked away needing to distract herself from Anakin.

He would be safe. She knew he would be safe. He has fought in battles before and besides the few scar, he was alive and well. She kept telling herself, but every time her eyes shuts. She pictured Anakin's broken form back on Mustafar, close to death with Palpatine pointing his lightsaber at him.

"My lord, the rebels just left making their way to the Senate building. Their numbers are larger than expected, but not enough to win."

She stopped in her tracks hearing a voice say. My lord? No. It couldn't.

Slowly, she walked around the corner and peaked her head out and saw Admiral Ackbarr holding his holocomm with the hologram figure of Palpatine clearly shown.

She had to place her hand over her mouth to stop herself from gasping. Ackbarr? How? He was such a prominent figure for the rebellion.

"Very well, my Lord. I shall be arriving shortly after the rebels." Ackbarr ended the conversation.

Padme looked up and down the hall and knew she had to inform someone of the identity of the spy, not even that, but that Palpatine has been informed of the attack. She turned around and quickly made her way back down the hallway she came from trying not to be too loud.

"Senator Amidala?"

She stopped in her tracks feeling a chill run up her spine. Shit.

She turned around putting on her best Politian face, hoping he doesn't know she heard everything.

"Admiral Ackbarr. Did you hear the clones and everyone just left? Hopefully they should be arriving shortly and this war can once and for all be over." She hoped her voice sounded as strong as she was trying to make it.

Ackbarr looked at her and after a few seconds took out his blaster aiming it right at her.

Her eyes widened knowing she was busted. "Admiral Ackbarr? What are you doing?"

"I know you heard that conversation and I can't have you going around telling the others." Ackbarr said walking closer to her.

She glanced down slightly seeing her blaster was in her holster on her side. She just had to find the right moment.

"Don't think about it?" Ackbarr said as walked over and took the blaster from her.

Shit. Shit. Shit. This was not good.

"Why are you doing this? We trusted you." Padme glared at him.

"I'm doing it to protect my people. Do you really think they are going to be able to defeat Palpatine? They are no match and after they lose, we are all done for. He won't just make us pay, he is going to hurt our entire plants. The weapon he is working on. Do you even know what is it capable of?"

"No matter what is capable of, it not worth it too loose hope and give up. He have to try, if we ever want to live without fear." Padme told him.

"What if this weapon was capable of blowing up entire planets? Would you risk the life of everyone on Naboo to defeat Palpatine?" Padme opened her mouth to say something but stopped. Would she risk the life of everyone? This was how Palpatine got into power, because she couldn't let her people suffer any longer. "That's what I thought."

"How, how can a weapon destroy an entire planet? That's impossible." Padme shook her head not believing it.

"I don't know, but I don't want to chance it if it true. You don't understand how powerful he is. He isn't the Chancellor we all tried to take out of power. He is, is something else." Ackbarr said.

"You can't lose faith. If we stop him, he won't be able to finish the construction of this weapon. You don't have to do this." Padme pleaded.

"It's too late." He looked her. "What am I supposed to do with you now?" Padme bit her lip saying a little pray for her baby. Please, please keep it safe. Please. "Palpatine has a lot of hatred towards you, I expect he would want your death to be from his hands." He turned her around and grabbed her wrist. She felt the gun digging into her back and hoped someone would walk by.

As they neared his ship, she knew her luck has run out and she was about to seeing Anakin sooner than either of them expected. She glanced down at her stomach. I'm so sorry.

Anakin looked down on Coruscant, seeing the Senate building from afar. He thought back to all the times he had been there; Listening to secessions, being told of new missions, plotting against the Jedi, coming back from battles to inform his master. This time would be different than all those. This time he would finally kill the man who caused him a life time of pain. No more would he ruined his happiness or be a threat to Padme and their family. This would end today.

As they got closer to the Senate building, he saw a few transports holding the clones and a few others land. The moment the doors opens, the clones ran out with blaster ready. It took only a few seconds for Palpatine's army of clones to emerge and a battle was starting below. So it was true, he was waiting and expecting them.

He shut his eyes and could still feel his connection with Palpatine slightly. He knew Ahsoka and Obi-wan were hiding their presences, but Anakin's connection with Palpatine was too strong. He would only weaken himself if he tried and he needed all his strengths to beat Palpatine. He wasn't going to let him escape this time.

He moved his hand to his lightsaber, clenching it tightly in his hands.

"This is where the fun begins." Obi-wan said as their ship lowered. "Stay close you two. We can't make any mistakes."

"May the force be with us." Ahsoka said and Anakin saw the determination in her eyes.

The moment the doors open, they all jumped out and made their way into the Senate ready to end Palpatine reign of terror.
